(SPOILERS) (READ OUT YOUR OWN RISK) (SPOILERS)
Hi, everyone! Well, the live feeds have just come on and already there’s drama in the house. Jace appears to be getting on everyone’s last nerve and what’s amazing is that he doesn’t seem to realize it. From what little I’ve had the chance to see (sorry, I’ve been at work), Jace just seems to be the epitome of loud and rude.
Obviously, what Jace doesn’t seem to understand is that the first vote of the game is almost always a personal one. The houseguests are still looking each other over and asking themselves, “Do I really want to spend an entire summer with that jerk?”
Now, I don’t have as many details as I would like. A lot appears to have happened before the live feeds started. I imagine that the next show will clarify things a little bit more. But for now, this is what I do know.
(AND AGAIN, THIS IS ALL A SPOILER)
James is the head of household. He won battle of the block.
His nominees were Steven and Jackie. I don’t know if it was James’s plan to begin with or if he’s just now trying to go along with the house but James was apparently looking to backdoor either Jeff or Jace. (If, however, Jeff or Jace won the veto and didn’t use it, then Jackie would have gone home.) Steven appears to have been the pawn in this scenario.
Now, I’m sure we’ll get to see Steven sitting in the Diary Room and saying, “Pawns go home!” That happens every season. However, Steven does not have to worry because earlier today, he won the veto!
So right now, the plan appears to be for Steven to come up with the block and to be replaced by Jace. And Jace will probably be the first person voted out. I’m not sure if that was James’s plan all along or if he’s now just going with the house’s wishes.
Because, seriously, nobody seems to like Jace. During the premiere, Jace was edited to look like your typical goofy Big Brother surfer but apparently, a little of Jace goes a long way.
In fact, it appears it’ll be going right out the door next week.

I have Live Feeds for the first time. The comments on the right speed by too fast to even read. Does anyone know how to slow it down?

Every year they cast a group of “characters.” There’s the nerdy, socially awkward type, the good ole southern boy, a morally ambivalent female who is happy to use her sex appeal and perhaps more, the (surfer) dude, the professional (think Dr Will and this year’s dentist John), an iron pumping beast, a (usually) single mom doing the best she can, often a notably religious type (Jocasta), a mean girl, a girl-power female, the shy girl, the requisite usually over the top gay (Frankie), and a few other attractive people to round out the party. This year is no real surprise. As in the last couple of seasons they have done away with any overt attempt to insert a note of maturity into the game. And it shows. And it makes a very big difference. We will see what the producers will do with the ‘tools’ at their disposal. As the cynic I’ve become over the years with BB I am not at all convinced that the two HOH comps were not rigged for the winners. Only time will tell. We do know the producers have their favorite players which, we are assured, are America’s favorite players as well. Riiigght.

( and the pics! ) So many people with “J” names..anyway, I thought Jace came on way too strong to all the women on the Wed. and Thurs. shows..dont have the live feeds, but that fact really turned me off, treating the women like pieces of meat. So openly being a dog. Like he hasn’t seen a woman in years. Geez, calm down Jace! He seems way too pushy to last long

J Renee thank you for the Facebook group, I just sent a request. I love the blog and have commented from time to time. I agree Jace seemed to act a little to doggy to the women in my opinion. I wonder how many houseguests this season answered casting call ads to be on the show and if they actually know the show. There were several last year and it just made me irritated that they were on the show. There are enough fans to fill several seasons instead of having casting calls to promote non fans. (She was the one Caleb was madly in love with last season–can’t remember her name). Anyway great to be here and love all the comments, information and spoilers.

Hi all. Me and a buddy at work flip a coin and then each of us picks

yay 50 bucks. We do the picks before it starts based on all the info out there.
I won the coin toss and took Jace right away. Um. Great pick Shayne.
Hopefully he’s first out. I’ve only seen the televised shows and a bit of after
dark (on Slice TV in BC Canada) but godamn Jace is annoying. Shut up
every now and then dude.
We left out the unknowns (Amazing racers) . Anyway just so you know my
team and can root me on, my players are: Vanessa, Clay, Becky, Meg, Jace,
Austin and James.
My hopes for who wins the game are never based on a bet.

FYI: If anyone is interested in watching BBAD, I searched for “Big Brother 17 After Dark on you tube” and there are videos of BBAD. It’s not “live” but very interesting. I am not able to get BBAD, so it is good to be able to watch the houseguests even though it’s from yesterday. 🙂
