Big Brother 18: Double Eviction Results!

Hi everyone!

If you haven’t seen Thursday night’s double eviction yet (and I know that it has been preempted by football in some cities), then be warned that this post is full of spoilers! Proceed with caution, unless you don’t mind finding out what happened before seeing it firsthand.

Okay, so tonight was the double eviction episode and, like almost all double eviction episodes, it was a bit of a mixed bag for everyone involved. It never got quite as bad as that time Judd was voted out because everyone thought he was America’s player but, at the same time, I know that a lot of watchers were disappointed with the ultimate result.

The first part of the double eviction went off as planned. James used his advantage to cancel out the votes of Corey and Paul. I was hoping that he’d be allowed to announce his picks in private and then everyone would vote without knowing whose two votes had been nullified. But instead, he had to announce his picks in front of all the houseguests. Considering that Big Brother didn’t give James any choice about whether or not to use the power nor the option of pretending that he didn’t have the power, that seemed a little unfair to me.

But no matter! The votes were cast and, by a vote of 3-2, Zakiyah was evicted from the house. (Paulie and Nicole voted to evict Michelle while everyone else voted to evict Zakiyah.) Judging from the look on Zakiyah’s face, I suspect that she may have known what was going to happen. Neither she nor Paulie looked as shocked as they should have.

Zakiyah did not have the return ticket so she was sent to the jury house.

The game continued. Corey suddenly came out of nowhere and won HoH. After talking to the boys in the house — and not any of the women — Corey nominated Michelle and Bridgette for eviction. Corey then won the veto.

Before the votes were cast, Bridgette gave her usual incoherent speech. Then Michelle stood up and yelled that she knew she was about to be evicted and then called Nicole a snake.

However, Michelle was wrong. Only Natalie voted to evict Michelle. Everyone else voted for Bridgette, which just goes to show that absolutely nobody in the house takes Michelle that seriously. Bridgette was evicted and did not have the return ticket. So now, Bridgette can go to the jury house and talk to Da’Vonne about how much she loves Frank.

Anyway, the end result of the Double Eviction was that things pretty much remained the same. If Paulie had been evicted, it would have been a major shift in the power. But, once Corey won HoH, that plan went out the window. Paulie may have lost Zakiyah but, in the end, he was still in control of who went next.

Anyway, after all that, it was time to play for HoH again. The feeds went down but they have now come back and it appears that Victor won HoH for a second time! We’ll find out what that means when he makes his nominations tomorrow but, if I had to guess, I’d say that we’re about to have another week of Paulie and Paul running the house.

One final note: Paul has been wearing a duck floatie for almost the entire day. He’s still wearing it. Paul is, without a doubt, the most annoying person I have ever seen in my life.

Sherry…. No I was taking a break and didn’t know. Well looks like Paulie and Corey is going up on the block. Paul is going in and talking to Paulie and Corey and immediately going to James and telling him the opposite of what Pauley said. What a snake. Now he is doing the same thing in reverse to Paulie.

Paulie doesn’t know when to shut up. Obviously he isn’t as attuned to the game as he was because he is telling Paul everything. Paul goes right in and tells James again what he just heard. He is going to crap when he is betrayed and goes on the block tomorrow.

If you ask me Paul is the sleaziest and most annoying one in the house!

Like who had F2 or F3 ith who..all w/Paulile of course!! And James told Vic that Paulie was going to BD him during the DE! That is what Da had told him on her way out. You could see his fae light up…DING! He finally got it!lol I am so excited that there is something interesting going on in there and that the GOOD guys are going to turn on the Bullies and get a chance to play!!

Nic and Corey talking and Nic is worried about going up OTB. She knows James is no longer with her. HE wwn’t even look at her!! She is sweaing bullets and said….I didn’t realize I was in so much trouble!!! HEHEHE I am SO loving this!!!! 😀

my question is why is that idiot Paul wearing the duck constantly. and i did not like at all what Michelle said about Nichole. she is playing the game the way she was played in BB16. and what is wrong with Michelle, she does not get evicted yet she cries that whinny cry.

I’m also thrilled about everyone talking about the guys going to OTB finally, that sounds great. I just wish one of them was Paul, he drives me nuts. He acts like he’s owed the world by everyone in there! Wake up dude it’s everyone for themselves, not everyone for you!!

I am contemplating getting fees in September so I can watch the immediate following show. my friend has them and says they are not expensive and the feeds go thru CBS all access and she is able to watch all CBS shows for the small fee monthly. she says there is a little box to go to for the live feeds and you can choose which camera to watch. she did cancel it for this year because she says all they do is sleep so it got boring but she plans on getting them back to watch the show they are doing right after this one. says it is worth it if you cannot watch it any other way.

Margie: I apologize, things changed after I went back and saw more of BBAD. I was so glad!! I hope the 4 of them stay together and get Paulie out, then I hope something happens to get Paul out. He is so irritating.
I wish I could see the expression on Paulie’s face when he goes up on the block. But there is still the veto (which he will probably win). I hope they get Corey out instead of Nic. While I would like to see her go, Corey is a bigger threat. I love it when those who reign with bully tactics finally get a dose of their own medicine and a wake-up call.
There is so much going back and forth between Vic and Paul that
I need to watch all of BBAD to get the real pic.

Vic is confronting Nic and asking her if she knew if there was any plan to BD him . IS she had heard anything!!! She is pretending she can’t remember. But is trying to be vague. He’s not letting her. He wants to know if he can trust her. Nic isn;t a good liar. WOW. Vic is a grill master! I think he ha been totally underrated!!!

I am so disappointed that Victor won HOH! His actions at the last nomination ceremony was soooooo mean! I can hardly stand to look at him! Grrrrrr! I wanted Bridgette or Michelle to win HOH so bad, and put up some of the boys on the block! When that didn’t happen, then I wanted one of them to win POV! Very disappointed!! I had to wait a long time to watch tonight’s show because of a game, and that made it even worse!! Well, Scarlett, tomorrow is another day!!! 😊😊😊 Nite all.

Between rescuing animals people and it being an election year it’s been a challenge to fit in BB. Thank goodness for the DVD and this blog!! Been reading as much as I can and love reading each and every one of you.

Not feeling supper passionate either way about anybody this year except a strong dislike for Vic and Paulie. I kind of get a kick out of Paul’s comments. Can’t handle Michelle’s crying. Didn’t like Bridget using the f bomb it just didn’t fit her. Frank didn’t bother me. James is a little disapointing. Wish Da was still there. Felt sorry for Zak being putty in Paulie’s cold hands.

My gut feeling…2 weeks in…Corey will win. He’s been like a sleeper cell waiting to strike.

It’s just “dumb luck” that Corey won. He couldn’t decide who to nominate until Paulie told him. Then there’s Nicole and her pouty poor me durning the show. I hope Victor is strong and sticks with his plan to get paulie out. Paulie had a smirk on his face durning most of the show. Please don’t let him have a return to the show ticket.

Speaking of the return ticket –

I thought when they said the return ticket was good for 4 weeks, they meant 4 BB weeks….aka evictions. So it would be done tonight if that was the case. Apparently there’s still one more week left.

BB is basically scheduled to have a returning player (extra week) no matter what. So what happens if nobody wins the return trip? Do that wheel out that big red button and reset a week again? Something similar, but in a different way? Have the Jury fight to come back?

Curious to see how production handles it IF nobody wins. Maybe it’s as simple as extending the tickets for a few weeks? We shall see…

Hello, I’m new to blog, what’s making me scratch my head and loose sleep, so please help me is, the boys had an executive board right? So, James uses powers to cancel out two of the four board members votes? Isn’t that what an executive board does, Vote! Then they go in back and meet and no one calls out James on that. I know Paul and Vic knew about set up, but still they didn’t play like they were mad? Then Paulie and Cory say, are we still a team and every on board, Hello, James just showed all his cards, Cort should have put him up and told all to vote him out, or tried. Is Cory that stupid? Please help for I’m going crazy with that.

Hey Ryan. It was more of Michelle versus Z thing between Paul and Paulie. While they are in war together some of it consist of battles within the war when they don’t see eye to eye. That’s what I extrapolated. But I do see your point and understand you inquiry. Also, it was obvious no one else on blog responded to your inquiry. Pretty typical so don’t take it personally. They have this little club of old timers that seem to be oblivious to new participants with a propensity of cajoling each other over their most mundane observations.

First of all, thanks Lisa Marie for always doing these updates, I missed the show, had company and my TiVo didn’t record so needed this information. I am glad Z is gone, too much drama even if Paulie created most of it and I won’t miss Bridget’s constant swearing. I am glad Victor won HOH and is finally going after the 2 who would use him and discard him like a used Kleenex. Maybe this will be what the house needs to be more excited?

To think Paul is most annoying person in house is beyond me. Michelle wins that dubious honor hands down. Oh, how that girl annoys me. Besides her annoyance and behavior when her hypothalamus was swimming with estrogen when Frank was in the house and the jealously she to her credit admitted towards Bridgette, the persistent whining and ugly crying as she described her teary ways hurts to watch and is nothing short of cringe worthy. And apparently she felt there was a better chance of Mother Teresa wearing Gucci shoes than her not being voted last night the way she lashed out to Nicole. What an idiot.

Concerning Paul. He did annoy me at one time. But now I get a lot of enjoyment from him. He is smart, funny, and quick witted. Actually, I am now pulling for him to win the whole thing even though Corey is going to do so.

So to all the Paul haters, hate-on. To those that may concur with me enjoy the show as Paul is sure to be a featured HG until he gets the boot.

Good morning everyone……well today is going to be the day everyone has wished for. Paulie will be on the block. Probably temporarily as it is a good chance that he will win the veto. Then it will be Nicole and Corey.

I think he should put up IRRITATING PAUL and Paulie. I said weeks ago that the decision that Paulie made to be up Paul butt with come back to bite HIM in the butt and it surely has. Paul goes to whatever side he sees has the most votes and tells stories with just a little bit of truth in them to be believable. He was actually the one that wanted to back door Victor! For once it wasn’t Paulie. Although Paulie deserves what he gets! I can just see him sitting on the stage with Julie! His face will be blood red and he will be so arrogant. The audience will probably boo him when he comes out and he will be VERY upset. Even last night when he half way realized what is going to happen he couldn’t keep his mouth shut about the Natalie crap. He just went on and on trying to justify himself to every person he talked to.

On another topic, that bedroom they are all sleeping in is a TOTAL biohazard mess! It looks like someone came in during the night and emptied everyone’s drawers in the middle of the room. They live like pigs! Everyone just steps on the clothes to get to the bed. Disgusting. Say what you will about Victor but he is a clean freak and he keeps his area immaculate. That’s one reason why he likes being in the HOH room.

Meech is so proud of herself this morning. She thinks she has accomplished all that has happened! All she did was lay on her back in the bed and let everyone else take charge of saving her. She really is the true definition of a floater. Paul should give he floatie to her.

By the way, you are a saint. You have a patience of Job helping all of us find a different way to get online to watch the show last night. I appreciate you so much! I’d love to send you a goodie basket!!! I bookmarked that BMX site because I feel as if this is not the last time football will take over the BB slot the rest of the season. Hopefully I won’t have to bug you again.

In most markets when football takes precedent to BB they usually still air it on one of the independent stations in the market at the regular. I know in Dallas that is the case. When they don’t have this option they usually air in in wee hours of morning the next day.

I didn’t hear anything about another DE. Just looked to see how much is we have to go for the season. 5 full weeks left, then the last week is shorter. Thursday dates are, 8/18, 8/25, 9/1, 9/8, and 9/15. Finale is Wed, 9/21.

8 players left…so I guess it checks out, but if a player returns, then they would maybe do another DE? My brain’s fried. Haha

Oh and the links and helping are no sweat. I remember being in the dark years ago not knowing where to find the show or info, but the BB community helped me. Just paying it forward. 🙂 Thanks for the kinds words, though. Was very nice Margie.

Yeah Marc. Good to see at least one person on here appreciates the wit and how funny Paul is. I admit I didn’t like him at first but now I think he is the best contestant at providing entertainment value this year. Most of what he spews from Diary Room is hysterical.
Apparently, the vast majority of this blog disagree but good to see at least besides me someone else enjoys his humor and wit.

Sirrock August 12, 2016 at 4:07 pm: Before the season, I wanted to like Paul, then he spoke and got aligned with losers and I kinda hated him. He sorta got back on my good side lately. He’s not so bad. That said, I don’t watch a lot of the feeds so I don’t get the FULL DOSE of Paul. haha

He’s fine to me. He’s got a decent story line for the season. Played too hard with a shit alliance, got spared and used as a pawn for a few weeks, and in that time he chilled out some, got in tight with the ones in power, and is now ready to break away a bit and start really playing. Could be worse….he could be Frankie. 😉

Not sure why everyone hates Michelle. I realize she cries frequently but I imagine it’s stressful in that house. She is the one who finally shook up the house. She couldn’t have done it without Bridgette (thanks Bridge) but Bridge couldn’t have done it without her either.
I am happy Big Meech stayed and I hope she wins the safety suit. Although I can’t stand Paul, he seems to be helping to rile up the houseguests into a shook up frenzy. You gotta love that. It’s not boring for a few minutes. This is what we have all been waiting for. I honestly thought it would be James doing it but I will handle Paul leading the charge. James will just have to be this season’s biggest disappointment.
I love seeing Nicole all freaked out and trying to save herself and her man. I wish I had the feeds so I could have watched Paulie implode.
Last thing I read was that Vic was going to nominate Paulie and Corey. OMG! I hope it was true. Paulie will blow up some more. I can’t wait until Paulie gets out of the house and has all Jersey girls hating on him. I hope we get to read about that!
Sorry that I vented and that my opinions are kind of unpopular. I do hate watching and hearing Big Meech cry. It is annoying. I just know I would be worse. =0)

Are you watching BB? Michelle is the only person that habitually cries. She cries when others would be doing cartwheels with giddy euphoria. IE when Bridgette went home and Michelle lashed out at Nicole prior to voting. I guess you could call them Happy Tears but the girl is so freaking annoying. Also, someone else posted she did look attractive when in outta of here seat on Thursday or something to that nature. While HOT may be a bit overboard I admit that was the best she has looked the entire season especially from distance shot.

Paulie spent a long time in the toilet this morning pasting maxi pads to the door spelling out a message. Michelle opened the door and showed it to the live feeds. I didn’t understand the message and neither did Meech. All Meech said was ‘what a terrible waste of sanitary pads’. lol You have to admit that’s pretty creative.

I’ve been around this blog for many years and have seldom noticed any cut throat and contentious comments directed to one of the bloggers. Anyone who exhibits that is usually gently confronted and then disappears from the blog in a silent huff. Can you give us some examples of cut throat and contentious statements? Was it directed to you personally or to a HG? All of us attack various HGs at times simply because some of them are polarizing and their actions seem to beg for it.

Star mentioned once (way back) that being PC on this blog has gone too far as HGs go (paraphrasing here). But sometimes blogger toes get stepped on. I’ve stepped on toes and have been stepped on also. No regular blogger here intends to be mean to anyone blogging. It happens unintentionally sometimes.

We all have out least favorites for various reasons. Not many have a clear favorite due to the dullness of the HGs. I’m pretty sure no one would say what they post to a HG’s face.

By the way, my hypothalamus drowned because Paul had the floatie that would have saved it. : )

Awe, I really like Paul. I think he adds a little spice to life, and he’s playing the game really well.

Paulie, on the other hand…😖. He is SUCH a douche. I hated the way he treated Zakiyah. Yeah, she was a bit crazy, but she didn’t deserve his crap.

I wasn’t thrilled with the outcome of last night’s double eviction, but at least it evoked some emotions. I was thrilled at the first eviction, and confused as hell at the second one. I still like this season way more than the previous 4 or 5 seasons.

Tendr, Margie, Star, love you too and what you post. And Star, I was taken aback when you said you hoped I was quoting something good you said. I tried to think of something bad or ridiculous you’ve ever said, and came up with nothin’!

Like Margie said we are all connected at the hip via BB, and that has caused some serious friendships (not with Paul, even though I’ll admit he sometimes is less annoying than others) and relationships to develop. When necessary, we all have each other’s backs.

I am glad arrogant Paulie is on the block but changing the subject I don’t know what I missed! Bridgette being voted off instead of Michelle floored me!

Hope to see Paulie leave but he is a strong competitor and may jut win the veto!
