Big Brother 18: I am so confused

Hi y’all!

I am so confused right now, and by that I mean that I’m even more confused than usual. I have been trying to keep track of who is going to be voted out on Thursday and the target has changed so many times that it’s become a real struggle to keep up.

When the nominations were first announced, it appeared that Zakiyah was going to be the target. After all, Zakiyah was Da’Vonne’s best friend in the house and Paulie was making little secret of how little their showmance actually meant to him. If anything, Paulie seemed to feel that evicting Zakiyah would be a good way to break up with her.

(And, considering that Bridgette’s creepy Frank crush has turned into a creepy Paulie crush, it’s not like Paulie would have to worry about being single for long.)

But then Paulie reconsidered and he decided that he’d like to keep Zakiyah around for a little while longer. So, despite refusing to save her with the veto, Paulie still told everyone that they needed to vote out Michelle.

And, for once, some of the houseguests actually thought for themselves and realized that there was no good reason to keep Zakiyah. While Michelle is a free agent who is desperately in need of an alliance, Zakiyah has shown that she will always do anything that Paulie tells her to do. If you want to weaken Paulie as a player, the only logical move (other than nominating and evicting him) is to evict Zakiyah.

And so, James told Natalie that he was thinking of canceling out Paulie and Corey’s votes with the power that he got from America’s Care Package. This would leave only five people voting and then he, Natalie, and a third person would vote to evict Zakiyah.

(Of course, everyone in the house knows that James has this power and he’s promised Zakiyah that he will use the power to help her out. Of course, he also promised Michelle the same thing. Apparently, James has to use the power on someone. Just saying, “I choose not to cancel anyone’s votes,” is not an option.)

So, anyway, it looked like Michelle would be safe but then she made the mistake of trying to campaign. She talked to Paul and she told him that, if he voted to keep her, she would go after a “big target” in the house. Paul ran off and told this to Paulie and then Paulie told everyone else.

That was a big mistake on Michelle’s part. As soon as James heard that Michelle was talking about going after “big targets,” he immediately assume that meant she was saying she was going to come after James and Natalie. As well, both Nicole and Paulie are now even less inclined to keep Michelle around. If Michelle had kept quiet or instead continued to point out that Zakiyah will never betray Paulie, she’d probably be okay. Instead, she managed to alienate almost the entire house.

So now, James is probably going to cancel the vote of Paul and maybe Natalie, just so Natalie doesn’t “get any blood on her hands.” That’s not good news for Michelle and right now, it looks like she’ll be a unanimous eviction.

EXCEPT … earlier tonight, Bridgette was having a conversation with Michelle. Bridgette said that she wants to shake up the house so maybe she’ll vote to keep Michelle. She even said that she was over some of the fights that they had earlier this season. Is Bridgette telling the truth? Maybe — but then again, I don’t really see Bridgette have the courage to go against the house.

Probably Michelle’s biggest obstacle is that Thursday is a double eviction. As soon as the houseguests learn that, they will probably decided to just get rid of the easy target because, otherwise, they’ll put huge targets on their backs during the second part of the double eviction. And right now, the easy target is Michelle.

We’ll see what happens but right now, I think Michelle will be joining Da’Vonne at the jury house. (Even if Michelle has the return ticket, I imagine she’d just be re-evicted during the double eviction.)

Well hell’s bells. I was hoping James would use those two votes to cancel out someone good like you said, and they would send Zak home. Thanks Lisa, for this report. Just going to bed and thought I would check in to see if anything new was posted. I am about tired after watching Olympics all evening. USA doing really good so far!

Which just goes to show once again that these Hgs are all a bunch of spineless sheep!!

They must have known that Meech was just blowing smoke. She’s all alone. How is she going to take down anyone? There’s not much to barter with in there. What else could she say!! But Z is always going to have Paulie and all the guys by association. Plus I’m thinking that Paulie is the one telling Bridge to say all those things to Meech. He has those two under his spell. So why evict someone harmless?
As soon as one sheep gets nervous and starts to run they all do. And as long as that continues , so will this boring summer.

Lisa: You are not alone when it comes to confusion. I have no idea
what James will eventually do. We still have another day or two
for him to go back and forth. But Meech is at least trying to play.
Z doesn’t give a fig as long as Paulie tells her she’s safe. I would have
been less confident if the father of my future children didn’t use the
veto power to save me.

Great update, I believe many of us BB18 fan’s are just as confused as you are! The reality of BB is that everything in the BB House can change on a moments notice! You just never know who is trying to manipulate who! I am ready for BB on Wednesday night!!

Ok…so I am kinda sorta watching BB…pretty boring, just on in background, but James and Corey playing pool. Nic sitting by,of course,and said something to James about why his stomach hurt or something and and he said it’s all good. I’m better off this way. Hmm….sounds to be like maybe he and Nat are *broken up*?? That’s all I am going on so I may be way off, but it just seems to fit. Does anyone else know who has watched all of BBAD already? Or maybe watched LFS yesterday?? It would be the best thing for him!! Nat just showered and went outside and just smiled at him. Now they are talking a little and it seems uncomfortable. Altho how you break up in that house…..lol

Otherwise, What did I miss about the helicopter and sugar daddies???LOL Never a dull moment on here…lol

Star, someone suggested that we drop a note into the BB backyard and tell the HG’S how bad they are playing their game. We suggested renting a helicopter, but we would need to find a “Sugar Daddy” to pay for it! Then sherry and I got silly!! 😊😊😊
It would be a good idea to get a message to the HG’S, but how???? 😊😊😊

Just reading the posts makes me glad I can’t afford the LFs. I’d be watching something else anyway. Just finished watching “Last Chance U” on Netflix with my daughter last night, and it was much more exciting than these HGs. And I am getting to where I HATE the phrase “blood on my hands.” Have some backbone people. Get some “blood on your hands.” Or rather, shake things up.

Marla, Jeanne and I have been looking for more good movies on Netflix. Is Last Chance U good? Is it a series? Have you seen Heartland? It is wonderful! It has nine series. You can get the first six on Netflix and the last three on YouTube. Our whole family from California, Texas and NC are watching it! It is really good and a family series. Our second favorite is McLeod’s Daughters on YouTube. There are about eight series. Very good. We just got Netflix in June, so we are on a search for good series.😊😊

Yesterday, everyone was fussing b/c Michelle wasn’t campaigning. Now, everyone’s fussing b/c she tried to. I don’t blame her for actually trying, but apparently there is a reason she wasn’t doing it in the first place Quite frankly, I’d give Nicole the boot. She has her head up Corey’s butt. Her nose (petty, I know) drives me insane and makes me feel like I’m suffocating whenever I look at her. And her whiney, nasaly voice (probably caused by her pinched nose…she really needs some rhinoplasty) is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I don’t understand why Michelle is even a target when she has no one backing her. I’m ready for some big moves and some action! I’m sure Paulie 😖 is gonna win this season, but I’m ready to see him nervous and worried. It’s time to take the gloves off and go after the big dogs!

Lol I just can’t anymore with Nicole’s nose/nasal/winey voice!!! Maybe that’s why she came back on BB so she can when and have that much needed surgery!! She has NOT been playing the game at all and Corey has just been riding on her coat tails, he’s such a doof!! lol how can someone be so physically fit and not win any competitions?? They’re basically keeping them for votes is what I see.

Meli$$a. I don’t get any of it either! I think Merch was doing a great job during BBAD. they could do turn this vote around. But Kames plays too damn safe!!!! I have no clue why the brought he or Nic back. Both floaters. And are playing just like last time.

Really by now Bridgette sould have been out or Vic considering how the game is usually played. After this debacle I am SO not into the Fall BB. I May not watch. 😝

Thanks for the post Lisa. It almost seems like a crazy merry go round at the BB House. Personally, I really want to see Z go home. She really disgusts me. Her behaviors are pretty gross. The only reason I would like to see her stay is so she can continue to make Paulie uncomfortable by leaching onto him.

Lisa a lot has changed. Michelle, Bridgette and Natalie have stirred up the house. Natalie has gotten James pissed off at Paulie because she says Paulie has been flirting with her and told her they could go on a date after the show. Seems she and Paulie have an overlap of friends back home.

They worked all night long on James, Paul and Victor to get Z out and keep Meech and it appears it may be working. M, B & N have been spreading a lot of crap around that house that is half true but you know James and how jealous he is. It will probably work. So we may just get a little action in the house this week after all. The three are all spreading hate and discontent against Paulie, Nicole and Corey.

Natalie has been pouting at James saying he isn’t paying enough attention to her. He told her he is tired of the games that she does this every two or three days and he is sick of it. If he knew what she said to Bridgette a couple of days ago he would really be pissed. She made it very plain (to me) that she really doesn’t care for James ‘that way’. That’s why she always sleeps on TOP of the cover when she sleeps with him. She also said that after a while she just can’t take any more of him and makes an excuse that she has gas to leave him. She also told him that she was glad he is a ‘have-not’ so she can have some peace and have the bed to herself. He must be simple not to take that hint!

James confronted Paulie about flirting with Natalie and he told him she lied. Only time will tell whether James believes this or not. She is kinda lying. Paulie did semi-flirt with her like he does all the girls in the house but she made it seem much more than it was. B,M & N discussed trying to make James jealous so he would use his ‘power’ to switch the votes.

I think it’s rotten that Nat is using James in the house. She has a BF back home named Josh I heard. But then Meg did it last year. pretty much the same way and he didn’t get all bent about that! She was saying last nite that they were FRIENDS and he agreed, but Iwe all know he wants more! But he did with Meg too./ I guess the difference is she made sure he KNEW they were JUST friends whereas Nat is letting him think differently for the good of her game.

Star before I fell asleep last night watching BBAD James and Natalie were talking/arguing about stupid stuff. James told her she didn’t tell him goodnight the night before and she said she’d tried to talk to him all day and he wouldn’t talk to her. I think the relationship is getting strained because Nat has begged him to tell her about his alliances and he won’t do it. I actually kinda hate it. They were the only romance in the house that I thought was real. I know people aren’t liking James this year but at least he’s playing the game the only way he can right now. I think he’s the only one that will take out a big target if given the chance in the double eviction. The rest are sheep. Z gives all women a bad name the way she’s behaving.

Paul is acting like he is royally pissed at Paulie. He is right in the thick of things with Meech, Natalie and James. Wonder how he really feels. It will be interesting to see what happens when Paul and James talk when they are alone.

Natalie has James convinced that she adores him and he is absolutely going to do what she wants. He keeps looking at her with cow eyes. It’s sickening!

OMG lightning is going to strike Paul. He is saying over and over again as he is being confronted by Meech and Natalie that he has never made a deal for final 2 or any kind of alliance since he has been in the house. He keeps saying how pissed he is at Paulie for lying to him all this time. lol

Paul is really overplaying outrage at how he has been mislead! lol He is such a drama queen. I’ll be very interested to see what happens when Paulie wakes up!

Double evictions have a way of messing up everyone’s plans! Let’s hope this happens Thursday night. I can remember many BB dreams shattered during double evictions. We can only hope. I would like to see Paulie, Paul or Victor blind-sided big time!!! Where there’s life there’s hope!!! 😊😊😊😊

Oh, my gosh! So much is happening. I saw the beginning on BBAD
last night, but it cut off early and missed the last half. I hope this
doesn’t all blow up in James’ face. Paul has such a big mouth and
lies so much, you never know what the truth is. It looked like last
night that Paul is not happy with Victor. He kept giving him looks
like “I wish you would shut up and let me be the center of attention”.
He and Victor were both so loud it was hard at times to hear all that
was being said in James’ bedroom. At one point I saw Paul leave the
kitchen and thought he was going back to James’ BR to see what
was going on with him. He starts looking for anyone missing and
tries to sit in on any conversations. I surely hope this works. I want
Z to be the one leaving, and I would like an alliance with Meech, Nat, Brid, and Paul or Victor. James needs another male, at least
one, to be protected from the girls. Nic and Corey will be happy to
just have more time together in the jury house.

Sherry- No he has not but it doesn’t make any difference how he votes because James is going to void Corey and Nicole’s vote and Bridgette, Natalie and James is going to vote to keep MEECH. So it’s pretty much a done deal. James at this point will not go against Natalie because she is pushing him with everything she has (you know what I mean) even kissing him. Remember she told him she would not kiss on television. They are all celebrating.

I’m glad the plan is working but there’s still a lot of time for it to switch several more times. Guess we’ll find out tomorrow. Hopefully Z goes and Michelle wins the first HOH and puts up Pauli and Paul. If she put up Victor and Pauli then Victor would go. I want Pauli gone.

Paul is saying some horrible things about Corey… I mean really ugly things that could affect his life. I’m not going to repeat them here because I’m not sure Paul is telling the truth. You can’t ever tell with Paul! I think he is using it with Natalie and Meech as a game tactic.

Nicole is playing the worst game ever. She spends way too much
time with Corey or all of the boys. She is playing a game like
Bridgett, but far worse. And several comments have been made
about how catty and mean she has been to the other girls. Don’t
know if all of them are true. Brid. was on that road last night.
It seems like the girls are all starving for attention,esp. from
the opposiste sex.

there are no showmances this yr. they are all using each other to get further along…one by one they will all end up in the jury house and this COULD CREATE a very interesting final vote…”I won’t vote for him or her because they used me”…may be a very close vote in the end…they are all children and most of them do not know how to play the game…just there for the 750 a week pay check…or 500,000 or 50,000 for 2nd place…or 25,000 for America’s favorite…

@Mortgage Dr…..Believe it or not they raised the stipend to $1250. And I agree with your statement. This year has just sucked for me. I always in the past eagerly awaited the TV broadcasts because I couldn’t wait to see how they interpreted what I knew went on on LF. This year I have actually forgot they came on. I automatically record them on TIVO so I did see it later. Never happened before. I don’t want any of them to win!

I don’t think Nicole is near as bad as the girls are saying. I’ve seen times that Natalie accused her (not to her face but to other people) of making fun of her when she really wasn’t. She was actually just trying to make conversation with her. The same thing with Bridgette. I think it was a lot of ‘mean girl’ stuff that Bridgette and Natalie were doing, actually they were making fun of Nicole!

I’m really not a fan of Natalie. I’m always suspicious of a person who continually says ‘I’m a good person’, ‘I know you’ll don’t think I’m smart but I’m no dummy’, ‘trust me’.. who in one breath is telling Bridgette how she really feels about James (not good) and in the other breath telling James how wonderful he is! Well, it’s working with James. He’s sure this is going to be a long lasting love. What a dummy! When people show you who they are, believe it! Also I’m tired of the silly pranks that both of them pull. As James has said many times that is what won him AFP, she picked up on that and the both of them are racing each other to get that vote. She also told that to Bridgette.

I hope for James in real life that he can find a true love. But I don’t think it’s in the cards for him on TV.

I can’t wait until everyone wakes up today to see what REALLY is going on in the house. If it’s as usual that could be hours from now. Day before yesterday James slept until 4:30 pm BB time. I was just going home from work. lol

They are also urging her to tell Z all the crappy things Paulie has said about her behind her back. It appears she is in the mood to do just that. They really have her pumped up!

Not just in the house but the backlash they’ll get for talking about the girls like they’re trash. I’m out of touch with this age of people as my girls are all grown but I’d like to think all young men don’t talk this way. I’m very disgusted by Natalie and what she’s said about James. He just wants to find a nice girl and thought she was it. I don’t know what Paul is saying about Corey either but I’m sure it’s just as bad as he’s talked about women. I really hope Pauli’s dad, mom and Cody punch him in the head when he gets home for the way he’s behaved. Hopefully the other parents will do the same. I would be so ashamed of my children if they behaved this way. Mine aren’t angels but they would never act this way.

Looks like Bridgette has forgotten about that! He is going to be EVERYWHERE tonight! It will be fun to see Paulie knocked down a peg or so though. The plan is in the double eviction to put up Corey and Nicole. If one of them wins veto and comes off to put up Paulie and vote him out. Watch him have the round trip ticket! You have to bear in mind this is the plan of Bridgette, Natalie, Meech, James and Paul. Lets see who can win HOH.

When Bridgette, Natalie, Meech, Paul and James were talking this morning Nat and Meech were saying the reason they didn’t want Paulie or Corey to win was because they are rich. Their explanation that Corey is rich is that he has his own lawyer! He was saying the other day that his mother is a realtor and she uses a certain lawyer and he has used the same lawyer once. lol I guess that makes him rich!!! I have a friend that is a lawyer. Does that make me rich? Of course, Paul egged this thought on saying that he personally isn’t rich and money doesn’t matter to him. That he prefers to donate his time, etc. to the poor. He really is such a turd!

I personally don’t care how much money they have because the winner should not be based on who needs the money the most. IMHO. It should be based on who played the best game. Nat and Meech just went on and on and on whining about this. Nat then launched into the same story she has told a thousand times about how poor she was raised and how poor she is now.

Nat just went into the bathroom and told Z she would like to hang out with her today because she’s so much fun! Her plan is to get Z alone and start telling her stuff about Paulie to get her upset and jealous. I think that’s kind of ‘mean girl’ stuff.

James just admitted that the only reason he is going to keep Meech is because Natalie finally told him how distressed she is by Paulie flirting with her. That’s against the boys code. She is so exaggerating all that to get James jealous. She flirts as much as Paulie does! Nat thinks her conversation with Z about Paulie will bring her over to ‘their’ side. What universe is she living in that she thinks Z will believe her over Paulie! lol

Well we have a new alliance in the house…..Paul and Bridgette. The gave it name but I forgot what it is.

THIS SWITCH IS A REAL THING!. Paul is telling Victor right now and they are going to pretend they are still with Paulie and pretend they are with the other side and watch the two sides go after each other. Paul and Victor is planning a final two. How many alliances is that for Paul at this point. Anyone know?

I actually don’t think Meech OR Z should be in the game. Even the revolt that is going on right now in the house is NOT being led by Meech. She’s just sitting back letting everyone else do it. They both need to leave. All she does is whine and complain about everyone picking on her and how much she needs the money! Go home and get a damn job!

As I predicted, BB has been picked up for seasons 19 and 20. No mention of BB20 being an All Stars, but with 19 being online, it only makes sense they wanted to hit season 20.

Just a heads up, Big Brother is going to be pre-empted tomorrow night in some areas because of pre-season football. Affected areas include NYC, Boston, Charleston, SC, some parts of NC and other areas. Check your guide beforehand so you aren’t caught by surprise at show time.

Lisa to keep me posted. But I think Nat is overplaying her hand.
Why tell Z anything. She’s going home, if I understand the plan,
so she will be no help to them. She will go directly to Paulie, and he
will call Nat out about all of her lies. He will be out for bear when
the HOH comp comes up. So he will probably get it. If he wasn’t alerted to something going on behind his back, he might have con-
sidered letting the HOH go to Paul or someone else he considers
in one of his alliances. He’d fight like the dickens now. This group is
so pathetic they give me a headache.
