Big Brother 18: Veto Results!

Hi, everyone!

I’m currently visiting with family for the Labor Day holiday so this is going to be an ultra quick update. I’m going to tell you who just won the veto. Are you ready? I’m dragging this out because I don’t want to be accused of springing any spoilers on anyone who might happen to come across this post on Facebook…

Okay, here we go.

The veto winner is … COREY!

*Yawn*

It was a five hour veto comp and I have to admit that I’m kind of surprised to hear that Corey won it. I’m going to assume that the comp didn’t require a great deal of brainpower to win.

Anyway, with Corey winning, that means that the noms will stay the same. Earlier today, James again said that if he won the veto, he would use it on Natalie. I was really hoping that James would win, just so we’d get a chance to see if James would actually be stupid enough to go through with that plan.

But now, we’ll never known.

Actually, Corey winning the veto might be the worst thing that could ever happen to Natalie. I don’t think Natalie realizes just how much trouble she’s in. James may be the target but that could change. Natalie has been campaigning to stay in the house and, earlier today, she told Victor and Paul that James ruined her entire game. She blamed everything on James. Natalie obviously thought she was making a smart move but now, Paul is even more weary of her. Paul feels that the fact that Natalie would so easily betray her closest ally shows what a dangerous and determined player she is. And, if Paul decides that Natalie should be the target, it wouldn’t hard for him to change Victor’s mind.

As for Nicole and Corey, it’s all going to come down to what Nicole wants. And Nicole has said that she’d rather vote out Natalie than James.

So, Natalie could easily become the target.

We’ll see what happens. Until then, have a safe Labor Day weekend!

Sounds like it was the comp where they rearrange pipes to make water flow and fill up something
Nat did very well… she was 2nd place.

Honestly, I’d rather face James in a comp than Nat at this point… she has been so close to winning quite a few times… including last HOH and this POV

But Nat has been very close to winning so many times.
And even if there is endurance it might be one she is perfectly built for. I think she could have stayed with Nic & James on the last wall if she competed.

Sometimes they have done this comp with all of them having their own setup
But this time they took turns
They had to beat the previous best time. Some didn’t finish because they ran out of time…. going first would mean unlimited time I suppose
IDK for sure.. but think Corey was around 6 minutes…
The feeds sure were off a long time for only 6 people.. even if they each took 10 minutes…. hmmm, doesn’t add up. I suppose it takes a while to reset everything?

I would love to see Natalie go home. She is as fake as Dolly Parton’s eyelashes! 😊😊😊 (I guess all that talk about boobs made me think of Dolly!)
I agree that I want James to stay longer than Natalie, just so I can see how he acts with her gone!!!
Not looking forward to the comp now that Corey won! I agree with Lisa: “yawn!”

The more they talk about this comp the more confused I get!
We have seen the one where they rearrange pipes.. but this sounds different.
They did have to fill up something with water… and there was a pipe…
But beyond that, it sounds like it might have been something new.

I look forward to watching… sound like it was interesting.

JT… I’m confused too. I thought somebody said a few pages back that the comps in their entirety are being shown on the feeds? Maybe I read it wrong… I always thought that the comps were blocked. In any case it’ll be fun to watch especially if it’s a new comp.

So there is a highlight archive on the feeds? Maybe I’ll sign up for the rest of the season…especially now that I have faster internet it might be worth it.

Corey won??? Im not surprised. I’m telling you folks that Corey has been sandbagging it all season and now he is ready to turn it up full speed ahead for the win. Not that I want him to win.

Jenna…The Birds is one of my all-time favorite movies!!! 🎬 I love Hitchcock. Wow, your mama was very young. 💜

Two…What a scary great movie Misery was!! I definitely prefer Caan as Sonny Corleone. And Kathy Bates OMG she is a great actress. I loved her in Dolores Claiborne.

Justaguy (JT) September 4, 2016 at 12:29 am: The only time we get to see comps on feeds is when it’s endurance for HOH… and even then the feeds usually come back way late after the live show.
We never get to see POV, Roadkill, or any other type of comp. Never get to see nom ceremonies either… and didn’t see halfway party or picnic

I did read we will get to see everything on the online BB thing… all comps and ceremonies… so maybe that’s what was being talked about

I love Kathy Bates, J. She’s from Memphis and so is my best friend. Friend’s older brother gave Kathy her first kiss on a hayride sponsored by the Episcopal Cathedral in Memphis.
That was before most churches decided celebrating Halloween for a century or more was suddenly sacrilegious and changed Halloween to Harvest or Fall Festival..

“Final 4” having a round-table discussion… literally, the 4 of them sitting at the round kitchen table.
Weighing pros and cons of who should go
They just touched on it and will talk again later, but as of now Paul, Nic, & Corey seem to be leaning towards evicting Nat.
Vic still wants James out
But they are all open to ideas and will chat later. Might be back and forth until Thursday.

JT…Nat is back on the pity party in the bedroom. Talking again about Bronte said everybody making fun of her, of her boobs and averything. James just told her he was going to make sure they voted him out instead of her.

Vic (about voting out Nat after listening to the other 3):

“F it.. then let’s vote her out. I mean honestly I know you guys are right… that’s what makes me mad”

Vic is the sole holdout to evict James.. and it is his HOH. But he can’t deny the fact that Nat has been doing better at comps than James and has come close quite a few times.
I think Vic wants to evict James because still feels for Nat some… and would feel bad sending her home over James.

It’s human nature…Vic and Nat are both Hispanic and because of that are very loyal which is admirable.

With Nat coming in second on so many comps it would be smarter to get her out before James. This week may be interesting after all…

And Nat hit (brushed) her last letter a couple times but it didn’t fall over…. it was an “H” as in “HOH” and her egg went right through the middle a couple times.

If she was kicking fieldgoals for the NFL she would have won!! 😆

JT…. I don’t think that at all. Vic has had this vengance for James because he lied to him when he was evicted the last time. You know how Vic holds a grudge! I think he’s sick of Nat.

And while you are watching feeds… there is a tweet section you can read. Some are very funny (Big Munch)…. but that section will also piss you off with all the crazy things people say!!! LOL …so read at your own risk… or just don’t subject yourself to that section.

duh!! It finally dawned on me!!
The POV comp was “MacGyver” style.

Sadly, it was to promote the new version of the old tv show which will premiere 9/23 ….2 days after BB finale.

So at least the comp should be interesting to see what they had to do exactly… and the different ways they did it.

To me the pizza boxes were a dead giveaway that Macgyver was the comp theme.

Nicole, as I anticipated, is non stop trying to persuade Vic to vote out Natalie and Paul is piling on. Paul said that Nat is hiding something and Nic said yeah…that she is a secret genius!! That strucm me as hilarrrrious. 😂On and on they go while Vic is pushing back saying he wants James to go. It’s interesting hearing their arguments. Corey is like…whatever, we have time to decide.

I love reading all the comments from everyone. Thank-you! I am very upset over Natalie blaming James for ruining her game! He basically WAS most of her game. He made deals to keep her safe quite a bit and now she is backstabbing him. It’s sooo sad. I am really rooting for James or Victor at this point but I have to wonder if James will give up if Natalie gets the boot?

But Nat did ride him way further than she would have without him. Without James I believe Nat would have been evicted around the time Bronte was… and it might have been Nat instead of Bronte if not more James.

Some things can’t be unsaid.

About 2AM. Nat came out of DR and her & James were chatting in London bedroom. Of course it was the usual stuff. But then…
Nat said: “If I leave and you work with Nicole & Corey.. I will never talk to you again”

She was serious.. could almost see the veins popping on her forehead & neck.

James was very upset about that. If he hasn’t woke up to her antics by now he wont. But that one really dug deep. It left him muttering to himself when she left to go to the bathroom.

It was about the coldest thing I’ve seen her say all season… mainly because of the extremely harsh tone when she said it. James looked gut punched… he couldn’t believe something so silly as a game could possibly be a reason for her to not talk to him ever.
Wake up James!!

She tried to play it off later and said she didn’t mean it…. that it just slipped out..
James said exactly! It slipped out… because that’s what you were thinking and that’s what you meant.

They both claim they will campaign for each other to stay. I have seen James already start doing that.. he asked Corey & Nicole to vote him out (before Nat made that comment)
But I wont believe Nat will campaign for them to keep James until I see and hear it for myself.

I’ve been shut down with a late summer cold all week. I was so bored I actually watched BBAD for the first time in weeks. Nat was really showing her true colors, no doubt about it. If James thinks they have an actual shot at being a couple after the show, he’s a moron. I don’t fault her for wanting to win the game, but she’s totally pulling that “pretty girl” passive aggressive type behavior that I loathe. Like Lisa said, I would have liked to see James win the Veto to see what he would do.

I saw a clip on a Twitter site from the feeds where Nat was talking about if she won the show, she’d move to Texas, buy a house, James would move in and work to pay all the bills, and she would just cheer. When James said it would be about $150k or more so she would have about $100k left over, she kinda balked at that saying she wanted a smaller house because she’s a simple girl. hahaha! In other words, “I wanna keep my money!”

I am not surprised by Nat’s actions. She hasn’t taken blame for
any of her actions in this game from the beginning. She slipped by for several weeks with laughing, smiling, flirting, and hiding behind James and then jumping on his back to ride as far as he could take
her.
She is the type of person that will always blame someone else or
some back luck event for everything that happens to her. It will
never be because she wasn’t good enough, not smart enough,
or made wrong or bad decisions on her part.
Even if she apologizes for her actions, it is just to get something else she wants and not because she actually knows how to feel remorse.
She is an angry, jealous, and selfish little girl who thinks life has
dealt her a rotten hand and everyone in the world owes her some-
thing.
IDT James will ever wake up to whom she really is. He doesn’t
want to accept the truth that keeps slapping him in the face. She
had wound James up like a yo-yo all season. A little kindness here
and false declarations of how she feels about him there, then whip the string back up around the yo-yo with cold shoulders, unkind
words, and tears of how he’s let her down. No wonder he started
sleeping so much. She has exhausted him with her hot and cold
game of emotional blackmail.
Vic has played an emotional game from day one. He holds grudges
and plays the “get even” game, even at the cost to his own game. He
is loyal to those he thinks he can trust, but needs to let go of some
of his anger and play stragegically now that the end is in sight.
The rest have seen the real Nat and the threat she poses at comps.
But IMO, if they get her out…James may self-evict. I can’t see him
suddenly start playing for himself. But stranger things have happened in BB.
Corey has been holding back and throwing comps for most of the
season. It was easier to let someone else take charge and trust
Nicole to keep them safe. But I don’t see him being able to beat
either Paul or Vic. I think the f3 will be Corey, Vic, and Paul…..
but that’s just MHO.

Vic and Paul are not falling for the ‘please save James and send ME home’ routine. They think she is trying to use reverse psychology on them and I tend to agree. She is acting super bubbly and happy this morning. She was saying just the opposite things last night. The guys think she is doing this so she won’t be embarrassed when she is voted out, that America would know it was her own idea.

Wow ….James is pissed at Natalie and fussing at her about always telling him she is never going to speak to him again if he does xyz. As in team up with Corey and Nic if she leaves and a multitude of other things. Then he mentioned that she shrugged off his hand on her knee and she got pissed and said she doesn’t like to be touched on tv. She then said to him ‘we never have to see each other again’ in a mean, harsh way. Usually James would placate her with ‘sweetie don’t say that’, etc but this time he just walked away and went into the house. Never seen him do that. Looks like the ‘romance’ is over. She doesn’t need him anymore so no need to be nice. She sure is a little diva.

She will ultimately go in and suck up to him again. Just playing with his emotions.

I hope James stays but realistically speaking I doubt it. He is by far the better player. Natalie’s best hope is that it is late enough in the game that a beatable floater gets dragged to the end. I don’t think we are there yet.

Margie: Did I read on here that BB goes through everyone’s
bags before they are allowed to leave the BB house and
remove any items that are stolen from other hgs? I certainly
hope so. I don’t think she just suddenly decided to steal
other hgs things. I would be willingly to bet she’ stolen things
from other people before ever getting on BB. You don’t just
become a thief overnight. This girl has proven to America
she wasn’t worthy of receiving the CP, much less their respect.

Hi yall! well im with vic on the decision to get rid of james – so far james has been so love struck by nat – he hasnt had his head in the game – if she leaves he will turn it up faster than brendon did for rachel in the ropes comp!

then if nat is still in the game – she wont have james support – or punching bag to keep her motivated.

It’s amazing how much different Natalie sounds in her talks about James when she knows is will be on live tv. It’s all yea Jamsie I love him so much. On the live feeds completely different. Does she not know we see. She is trying hard for AFP!

Margie: I was thinking the same thing. She must believe
that only the live shows are what America has to go by and
doesn’t understand the live feeds and BBAD are just as telling,
if not more so. It was like watching a split personality.
I noticed also that they are all (except for Corey who tried to
clean up his language) so used to swearing that they forget
to clean it up for the live shows on prime time. I don’t know
if this comes from not fully understanding the difference
between prime time and the rest of the viewing time, or they
simply don’t care.
One other thing I noticed was the smirk on Nic’s face
when they walked into the HOH room when James was
trying to talk to Vic. It was uncomfortable to watch.
I did enjoy the teasing about Nic’s small town school numbers.
They all got so tickled, they got me tickled.

Split personality explains it exactly. I wouldn’t be surprised to see her on the Bachelor next. She would fit right in with that group of egotistical girls.

As much as I try to be objective, it is very difficult. I try to analyze things from a game view. But I admit I often get caught up with my personal views of the game / HGs.

CBS did do a poor edit as to why Corey & Nicole went against James & Nat (& Meech). They should have reminded us that Nat & Meech tried very hard to get Corey evicted.. and James was about to do it…. leaving Corey & Nicole with little choice really.

But here’s my objective part. I can see it from James & Nat’s view too. The deal between Nic & James was to keep James & Nat safe. Nic did that. She didn’t put either of them on the block. It wasn’t a “package deal” to include Meech.

But what Nic & Corey could have done was go to Nat & James early in the week and say they wanted Meech out because Meech said flat out she was after Nic. Instead they said Paul was the target all along so it was sort of a blindside.

However, Nat & James never did approach them after noms and have a good heart to heart and reassure that they were a legit final 4. Why not? Well probably because Nic & Corey were their next targets. At least Nat’s next targets.

I can sorta see why James & Nat feel betrayed, but at the same time they are just as much to blame or more. And if Nic & Corey had told Nat & James that Meech was the target… then Nat would have told Meech. And Meech would have started telling everyone anything to save her ass… probably even making stuff up.

And in BB you try to avoid creating a “loose cannon”.. and the best way to do that is to keep them in the dark.

As I said a couple pages ago… and as we saw on the episode tonight. I did not like the way Nicole handled finding out James had told Vic about their final 4. Her denial made her look even more untrustworthy. Best move would have been to admit it and explain they had no other option at the time. Vic understands that, but has no time for flat out denial.

They really didn’t show just how close Nat was to winning HOH. She did have a few shots at her final letter that were oh so close… much closer than the couple they showed on tv.

Lastly, Corey is still a clueless putz for going for “Have” so early. It shows he still doesn’t understand the game dynamics. Vic & Paul did take note of that… but brushed it off in the end.

I didn’t see BB tonight so thanks Lisa and all of yall for letting me know what happened on the show. Michele stealing all that stuff, somebody better make her give it back to the rightful owners thief she is.

we watched a great move from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM it was great it was called ~ BLOOD AND STEEL TITIANIC ~ That’s why I didn’t get to watch BB. Thank yall for the updates. I appreciate it very much.
PS: I love Kathy Bates to she’s so funny I like when she played in ~ FRIED GREEN TOMATOES ~ I Love her acting.
Going to learn windows 10 it not to hard. The only think is I like to put things on my desk top and I need to figure that out too.

JT …….what do you think they are trying to do with this editing tonight? I saw all that they showed tonight but I also saw the other side on the feeds and what was portrayed tonight was ridiculous. They are trying to get James AFP with this edit. I hate when they do this and the people who don’t see the live feeds believe that’s really the way it is!

Hard to say. But they’ve always left stuff out or tried to give people a different edit. I guess all in all we’ve seen much worse edits than this.
Paulie got a very good edit for a long time… and even at his worst got a better edit than he deserved. TV only viewers probably still believe he’s a good guy and that his crying was fake for strategy… and probably think he went out with class. He didn’t make a big fuss on the live show… but he sure looked drugged to me.

OMG! I went back to read Natalie’s Biography on the BB website… Totally self-centered and self obsessed!

She stated: Three adjectives that describe you: Altruistic, athletic, and beautiful. ~ Really? Who calls themselves beautiful?

And then she stated: “People won’t expect how much adversity I faced and how tough I am because I’m so pretty.”

Please vote her off the island this week guys! Although I no longer care for James – he has been so PLAYED by her! I feel sorry for him now… kinda…

The “I’m so beautiful” is not that unuaual with the younger
generation. I’ve seen it over and over again on reality t.v. I
think it might stem from parents telling their children how
great they are and how pretty they are, etc. We were taught
“Pretty is as pretty does”…and “beauty is only skin deep, real
beauty comes from inside a person’s heart”…and “actions speak
louder than words”. We were taught you simply did not brag
about anything you did, and especially not about your looks. Those
days and adages are passe nowadays.

I truly feel sorry for James (separate from game play). I think he
has had a rough time of it in life. Here he is a Korean cowboy/farm boy whose never met his real parents and is always the odd man
out socially with girls. He’s very short and of a different nationality
from most of the girls he meets. I think he’s had mostly rejections
from the opposite sex, making him gullible to the wiles of a devious
woman. Yet he never quits trying, has maintained a good sense of
humor, and really has a common sense way of looking at life. He
could have turned out so differently. He must have wonderful
adoptive parents.

I truly hope there is a special girl out there for him. Someone who
really deserves the love that James has stored up in his heart.

On a personal level I have great empathy and respect for James – and I hope that if Natalie leaves this week that he will slap himself on the side of the head, shut down the pranks, and get his head in the game…. Nicole has finally joined the game… and James could, too.

Just hope he doesn’t try to use fame to get himself ahead – which could be more opportunities for heartache…. He just needs to settle down to a normal life in Texas (my home state as well).

And that was news to me… I thought Nat’s first BB love was Vic. But they are in the house for about a week before the feeds start.. so maybe it was during that time?

Well said Sherry! I didn’t realize that James was adopted; it puts many things he has done in a different perspective. Natalie should go first now and I hope that when this is over James finds a wonderful girl that deserves him. I am voting for him again as AFP because the only other person who deserves it, Victor, has a good chance of winning.

If Nat were to win, I would need some professional help to

Corey, Nic, and Paul don’t need the money from what I’ve
gathered. Vic will most likely win the $500k and got the
$5k from Corey.
None of the others are contenders (IMO).
The only stipulation I would like for James winning AFP
would be that he be told America did not vote for him because
of his pranks. In fact, the pranks got old and went over the
line in some cases in many people’s opinion.

Ratalie is not even close to being a Diva…only in her head! She is a gold digger plain and simple. Last week Ratalie was whining about how she drove a Toyota Corolla while her friends drove Mercedes and Range Rovers, etc. Now this week she “really misses her little Toyota Corolla…I just love my car?!?” Then James pipes in saying how he misses his big truck. Geez…she is so shallow. It’s time (past time) for her to go! Just because she says she got called up for the Bachelor doesn’t mean she would actually be on the Bachelor. She would have to pass the final vetting. Ratalie acts as if having x-amount of followers on social media is her main goal in life. She continuously mentioned how she checked out this person and that person who had been on various shows to see how many “followers” they had before and after they were on a show…that was a “game changer” for her. 😉 lol
James has a terrible complex! He has tried to make himself a household name/star off his first run on BB but it didn’t work. Now his goal is Survivor!?! He is likeable but may have ruined his persona with this years one sided showmance…js
