Big Brother 18: When Is The Veto Meeting!?

Hi, everyone!

Well, I was sure we would have some drama today because of the veto meeting.  But it turns out that they didn’t do the veto meeting today.  In fact, Nicole was telling Frank that she doesn’t think that they’ll be doing the veto meeting until Tuesday because of the 4th of July Holiday!

And I guess that makes sense.  I mean, would you really want to hold a veto meeting on the 4th of July?  Would you want to be the head of household who forever ruins a holiday for one person?  I can understand why they’re holding off on the veto ceremony but it still seem kind of unfair to me.

Look at it from Victor’s point of view.  He doesn’t know that he’s going up, though he will soon enough.  But the whole idea is that, after you’re nominated, you’re supposed to campaign to stay.  And sometimes, it can make more than a few days to convince someone to keep you.  Instead, Victor is going to be nominated and then he’s only going to have a day and a half to campaign before the vote.  And while it’s true that it probably wouldn’t make any difference even if Victor did have the usual week to campaign, it still seems a little bit unfair.

I can understand not wanting to do the ceremony on the 4th.  So, why not do it today?  I may not like Victor that much (though he is nice to look at) but he at least deserves a fighting chance!

And, to be honest, there are a few cracks in the 8-pack alliance.  Almost all of those cracks are due to Tiffany.  At first, I thought that Da’Vonne might only be putting on an act about distrusting Tiffany but no, Da’Vonne truly does not trust her.  Tiffany even told Da’Vonne and Zakiyah that Bronte, Natalie, and Bridgette were open to an all-girls alliance and Da’Vonne’s response was to tell Zakiyah that she doesn’t believe a word that Tiffany’s saying.

(In this case, Tiffany was telling the truth.)

Frank, who has pretty much emerged as the 8-pack’s main strategist, also doesn’t trust Tiffany.  Everyone seems to feel that she’s too close to Paulie and that she can’t be trusted.  Tiffany certainly didn’t help herself by melting down after she was nominated.

So, Victor actually could exploit those weaknesses if he was smart enough and he had the time.  But, in all probability, he’s not smart enough and he won’t have the time.

In other words — Goodbye, eye candy!
