BB19 — The Second Part of the HoH Comp!

Hi y’all!

With the season almost over and only three HGs left in the house, these posts are probably going to get shorter and shorter because, at this point, there’s really not much to report. Just to quickly recap:

Paul, Christmas, and Josh are the final three.

Paul won the first part of the final HoH comp.

Christmas and Josh just played the 2nd part of the HoH comp. It sounds like it was a physical comp where Christmas and Josh had to knock things over. I can only imagine how Christmas was able to do any of that on a broken foot but then again, I could be wrong. We’ll know for sure on Wednesday.

Anyway, the feeds were down for 6 hours but now they’re back and … JOSH WON! Josh beat Christmas by about five minutes and apparently, he started crying during the competition.

That means that Part 3 of the HoH competition will between Josh and Paul. The winner picks who gets to move onto the final two with him. Christmas’s fate in the game is no longer in her hands.

Paul has sworn, to both Josh and the viewers, that he will take Josh to the final two.

Josh has been saying that he’s going to cut Paul if he wins the final HoH comp but recently, he’s also been saying that he’s worried that the jury like Christmas more than they like him. So, as of right now, Josh could go either way.

We’ll see what happens on Wednesday!

It sounded like he kept saying she had pink eye? Is that true
or did I misunderstand?

Sherry. I heard Paul say he thot she had gotten some glitter in her eye. That was before the comp so not sure what it’s from. I think Josh was just saying that to be sarcastic. Like it wasn’t that hard to win because he was up against a girl with a broken foot and pink eye. He would have been pretty embarrassed if he hadn’t beat her I’d imagine. 😏

Josh needs to take Paul even though I don’t want to see him win $50,000…At least we know the jury wouldn’t pick Paul for the win (I hope)…This changes everything!!!! If Paul doesn’t take X-mas, she wouldn’t vote for him would she?? Wow, I’ll have to think on this..It’s time to feed the twins again, so I will think while they eat…They sleep through most of their feedings so I will just treasure their beauty, but I will consider all the options for Wednesday night..Surprised they didn’t make it X-mas friendly for once…hmmmmm…

Tammy, enjoy them while you can. They grow up so fast. My “babies” are in their 50s and 60s. Time flies. I used to love watching them while they were sleeping.

tendr cody fan September 17, 2017 at 3:49 am: Tammy, i loved having mine with me as infants….i nursed them and i’d go to movies and everywhere and just take them. i’ve even had women tell me my baby was too old to nurse…at not even one yr old. but i nursed for 15mos first time and only quit becuz i took some strong meds………..the second one i had at 28 almost 29 and i nursed her two yrs and two mos. i loved hanging out with them. they were fun even at two..it was the teens that it got rough….sigh

I’ve been saying it would be cool if Josh won. So funny because I couldn’t stand him for a long time. That’s why you have to keep an open mind during BB because things change on a fine!

Your premonition may not come to fruition as you wish on Wednesday night in a Josh vs Paul F2. It could play out as follows:
For Cody: Paul was out to get him just as Cody was out to get Paul. Paul won the battle while Josh just rattled the pot and pans ad nauseam. Vote for Paul
For Matthew and Raven: As Paul’s associate puppet master with her ego support system. 2 votes for Paul
For Mark and Elena: They were in an alliance with Paul and he did all he could to save them – they think. 2 votes for Paul
Five vote for Paul: Paul wins regardless of the remaining votes.
For Jason and Alex: They too were in an alliance wit Paul. Both successfully blindsided by Paul, whether they knew it or not but just annoyed by Josh repeatedly. 2 votes for Paul
For Kevin: His F2 alliance with Paul was a pipe dream and he knew it. Still he will side with the only remaining adult in the house despite Paul looking, acting and ranting on and on like a carnival side show act. Vote for Paul
For Christmas: Regardless who, Paul or Josh, sends her to jury and no chance at the big bucks, Christmas will stand by her man and leave her kid crying again: Vote for Paul
Unanimous 9-0 for Paul

America’s Favorite Player to Cody though he did not get any votes from me. Cody played Jessica’s game from the get go and winning over her affections was more important to him than game play, social or otherwise in his pursuit of love/lust over money. Chivalrous, no doubt. Serious strategic game player, no.

Marcella September 17, 2017 at 12:54 pm: Cody wanted to blindside Paul week 1, and told no one. Had it not been for BB’s making sure Paul was safe for the first 3-weeks, Cody would have gotten Paul out his first HOH. Because BB decided to manipulate the game in Paul’s favor, that didn’t happen.

We will never know how strategy might have evolved over the weeks of the game, as it often does. BB took that away from us this season. Cody may not have been a strategic player, but at least he was a player. That gets him my vote for AFP.

As for Paul, I hope this is the last time I have to look at his bushy pubic haired face. Yes, I finally said it.. I’ve been thinking it for the past 2 years!

C'est Moi September 17, 2017 at 1:19 pm: Marcella, Paul should never have been cast into BB 19 immediately after a second place finish in BB 18. That said, had he not been granted short term safety in the beginning he would have been one of the first voted out, if not the first, for obvious reasons. 16 rookies hoping from the start to do whatever to prevent the one veteran skilled player from coming in first the second time around.

The production brain freeze was not announcing Paul’s short term safety from eviction on day one in fairness to Paul as the returning vet and to the 16 rookies who probably would want him out sooner than later. Unfortunately, for the rookie stooges, the game was fully in his control after the initial attempt to evict him. Too many rookie mistakes to mention thereafter.

C’est moi, I hope you see this. I get those migraines that are occular migraines and you can’t see anything except a bright fuzzy light but I can see if something is beside me. Magnesium taurate and water then keeping my eyes closed for about half an hour will make it go away. When I look at the pic too long I get them.

Magnesium and lots of water were the only thing that helped me.

I hate it when members of my BB family argue whether about a BB player or OT. The craziness inside the BB house is enough to deal with. On the other hand, I tend to pray for the arguer and the arguee. Emotions run high when someone feels attacked for their opinion. Lashing back just keeps the wound open to fester. Don’t respond with anger. Put a bandaid on it and allow it to heal by keeping silent and praying. SO OT. Sorry. Jumping off my soapbox now. : )

I’m not sure Josh was supposed to say anything about his winning! When Paul and Josh were in the kitchen, I think he said “Can I say I am second?” as he held up two fingers! Hummm!
Paul was very condescending, I thought. And Paul and Xmiss treat Josh like he is their little boy! 😕. It’s really getting weird. I will be so glad for it to be over.
Lisa, I do hope this blog will be up for awhile after the show ends. I think it was up for quite awhile last year. I know I kept checking in for weeks after the show ended! I think I was the last one to check in! I didn’t want it to end! 😕. We do have CBB to look forward to, and friendships will continue after BB is over! 💘💘

I’m agreeing that Josh talks big and then ends up doing what Paul told him to do. I’d love to see Paul not make it to final 2. I really hate seeing those 3 in the end. I’d rather see Josh win. Josh has a brain but he is a loose cannon with no common sense. He’s like a very young child with no self control.
I’ve seen people out in social media saying a vote for Cody is a vote for real contestants that aren’t sheep. Most everyone else is playing to the cameras or wanting to please Paul. It’s telling people that they don’t want returning players with benefits.
I’m worried that the need to please Paul will continue subliminally and they will still vote for him .
Thank you Lisa for the best blog ever. I wander around the internet but I always consider this blog home. I’ll be checking back in hoping we have some BB19 after effects to discuss.

prattle: I have gone over the mental odds and there is a very
good chance it could end up being a 9-0 outcome in Paul’s
favor. Jason might hold out and not vote for Paul, but I think
Alex will. Mark won’t vote for Josh, Elena will in the end probably vote for Paul. Maven will vote for Paul. Kevin will
vote for Paul. Cody’s service training will kick in and he’ll
vote for Paul. Josh or X-mas would either one vote for Paul
probably. (All of this is just my opinion.) I think Josh’s loud,
over-reactive gestures and movements will come out in the
open once more and hurt him in the end. He has little ability
to control his emotions, words, and reactions to situations.
I think Cody might be willing to vote for Paul simply because
he tried to tell eveyone exactly what would happen and no one
would listen to him. He will think they all deserve to lose for
being such idiots and so gullible.

Wednesday can’t come soon enough! Thank goodness for Lisa and this blog.
I haven’t watched the last 7 episodes and haven’t felt the need to see them either.

Watching Paul and Xmas would be difficult and makes me sick. Josh isn’t much better but thems the breaks.

Don’t know if it would be funnier to see Paul come in third and get no money or get second place again.
Josh is so immature and foolish that I don’t think he will have the guts to go against Paul and take Xmas. Josh was so irritating to live with as Mark will tell you but at least Josh could argue that he played more game than Xmas but he will not be able to articulate it effectively so he will probably cry his way into second place behind Paul and be happy with that. Paul will probably be able to campaign his way to a win by bamboozling the jury just like he did while they were in the house.
Would hate to see Xmas win anything by just coasting along on her scooter. Hate to hear them planning to return next year before this one is even finished. There is no reason for Xmas to think we would like to see her return. Maybe when she gets out and finds out neither the other players nor any viewers liked her she will just disappear. Lets all let CBS know how much we dislike seeing returning players.

I was thinking in the initial Jeff interviews how this looked like a promising cast. They were cute, pretty, appeared intelligent for the most part but something terrible happened. What a difference in the before and after.

Tammy, please don’t leave. Neither of you leave. To tell the truth, I didn’t even pick up on an ongoing argument. I just read the comments and skip right along to the next. I either agree with the comment or not. In the great scheme of things, we are all different. Never going to change that.

Tammy September 17, 2017 at 6:56 pm: It took place all day yesterday on an older site…It was really hard once this person called my husband and myself KKK members…I just got home from the ER..They had to give me a shot & told me I could not nurse for 2 or 3 day’s…Thanks to all of you who have been so nice… Doctor said to stay off this site.. he knows everything that was said & agreed it was to harmful & was most likely what caused this episode…Having said that, I will not be back on here..My husband is furious & assured me it will be taken care of…So with that, goodbye to my BB friend’s… I will not put myself or my babies at risk again… Not for something that can’t be controlled…

Apparently, in the Big Brother House, Paul is starting to get paranoid about Josh. He told Josh last night that there’s no way that he’s going to let Christmas get Josh alone.

As for Josh, he’s been getting more cocky than usual since winning the 2nd part of the HoH competition. I think he’s really got into his head that he’s going to win this.

Christmas, meanwhile, is still just gazing at Paul and smiling.

Christmas, Paul and Josh in F3 is enough of a travesty. In fact, any F3 among those left after Cody was voted out would be unfair to those who didn’t even get a chance to play the game.

Has Christmas been campaigning to Josh or Paul? Or is she so confident either will take her to F2 that she doesn’t feel the need to campaign?

No one deserves to win. Even CBS shouldn’t be able to reap rewards (money from advertisers) for this season.

Bobo, if X-mess – Someone did this as a typo way back, and I was hoping it would catch on. It didn’t, but I’m not above using it anyway! – got one of Paul’s hairs in her eye, that eye would have popped out of it’s own accord and gone bouncing down the hall. : )

This is why I have repeatedly asked people not to talk about religion and politics on the site. It’s not worth the mental and emotional pain that these arguments inflict on people who, for the most part, are just looking for a place to talk about Big Brother.

I find it TYPICAL that the only ones having a cow about political comments are coming from the LIBERALS when a conservative (Jeanne) makes a statement. Where are the complaints about Susan for her pictures of Hillary and Kamala and her endless undertone comments about liberal ties to Washington? I didn’t hear anybody on the left complaining about that!! Why is it okay for Susan to keep poking conservatives in the eye with her pictures of liberal politician friends? Huh?

Lisa…Forgive my comment, I realize that you are trying to reside in Switzerland, but I just caught up on the blogs and had to chime in. I don’t want to know anything about a person’s political affiliation. It’s human nature to be biased and if one has to deal with unwanted political comments on the this blog, please, just let it be even-handed everybody!!
