Big Brother 19 — HoH, Nominations, and Veto Results

Hi, everyone!

So, because the feeds were down for so long, it’s still not totally clear how all this happened but here’s where the house stands now:

Cody has reentered the house.
Jessica won HoH. Apparently, Christmas came close to beating her.
Kevin has taken over Dom’s talk show, which is apparently now a “Friendship Show.”
Jessica — with, I imagine, a lot of input from Cody, nominated Ramses and Josh for eviction.
She does not appear to be trying to backdoor Paul, which is what a lot of people assumed she was trying to do. Instead, Josh does seem to be her target. Cody seems to understand that they don’t have the votes to get rid of Paul so instead, they need to start picking off Paul’s alliance.
Josh, of course, is the obvious target because he’s repeatedly attacked almost everyone in the house and it really doesn’t seem like any of the HGs would miss him if he was voted out.
But why nominate Ramses, even if he is a pawn? Why not nominate someone like Mark or Matt to make sure that, no matter what, a Paul ally would be on the block?
Ramses was kind of freaking out about this, though Jessica kept telling him that he was just a pawn. Again, she didn’t seem to realize that Paul not only had the numbers to keep Josh but that he also wants to keep Josh around to do his dirty work for him.
Tonight, they played for the veto. Apparently, it was Josh, Ramses, Cody, Jessica, Christmas, and Alex competing. And…
JESSICA WON THE VETO!

So, if Jessica’s smart, she will take Ramses off the block and she’ll replace him with someone close to Paul.

Finally, for those keeping track:

Christmas still has her ring and can take the place of someone in a veto comp

Jessica still has the halting hex, which means that she can stop any of the next three evictions.

Hopefully, Sunday’s show will fill in some blanks as to what happened during the HoH comp (it sounds like Jessica tried to make a deal with Christmas and she rejected it) and the logic behind the nominations.

We’ll see what happens!

Better than what?? The biggest problem this season is that BB is throwing so many curve balls into the game, the contestants can’t PLAY the game like it was first designed. Every time you turn around, BB has some new twist and I don’t mind a couple throughout the season but this is now almost on a daily basis. It no longer matters who is the best or worst player, it only matters if they have won a prize to further the game for themselves.
It all adds up to a really boring season because whomever wins may very well be the worst player only because of the overwhelming amount of “twists” that he or she happened to win.

Paul has these fools thinking it’s best to keep josh I have seen water with more intelligence than these fools Jess doesn’t want to make waves what a waste I don’t think I will watch anymore we all know the winner is paul so cut him the check and call it a season all of these people are stupid and deserve to lose I’m so disappointed would like to know what drugs they feed the hgs

If I was in the house and had to choose between aligning with Cody/Jessica or Paul, I would choose Paul in a heartbeat. I think they need to get rid of Cody long before they get rid of Paul. It might be hard to do with Jessica having the halting hex too.

Wow you two must be on the same drugs the hgs are on to want to align with paul over Cody. paul had his shot last year and blew it if anyone should have come back it should have been Victor not this asswipe Its as I have said for a few years they put one person with an iq of 65-70 the rest have iqs of 25-30 to keep a low life like paul is just sooo dumb and to let him control you is even worse. For them to listen and vote Ramses out instead of mama’s boy josh show very low intelligence in the house.

Oh I don’t want to see Ramsey’s go home. I was so excited to read that Josh was put up I was so hoping he was going to go home. I think the season has just gotten really exciting now. Now hopefully Paul will be going home soon. I want to see to it that that 3 weeks of immunity did him no good. I have to confess I do get tickled when Jessica tells Josh to go change his diaper. LOL

You guys keep going on and on how Paul shouldn’t be here this season; that he had his chance last season. He is here. You would rather have Victor instead of Paul or no vets at all is dreaming. It is what it is. And yes, I would align with Paul and NOT with Cody. Cody is cold and stoic. How could anyone align with a person where it is so hard to get past, “hello”? He even said how he had a hard time talking to Julie. As much as most of you seem to dislike or hate Paul, he has game and knows how to socialize and win the others over; something Cody lacks big time.

What a lot of people fail to realize is that Cody is from Texas. So am I. I know lots of Texas boys who are men of few words. They come across somewhat rude to people, I understand. Imagine for a moment a person that doesn’t say anything because they simply have nothing to say. It’s not why we talkative types are accustomed to. I know this to be true, because I’m married to one of those types, and he comes across a lot like Cody. We have 3 teen boys, and when Daddy does say something, they listen.

Maybe this familiarity of character is why I like Cody. I think he’s a lot kinder and more compassionate than he comes across.

Paul is dominating in the game because he is PLAYING the GAME! He is doing what should be done – creating doubt, winning comps, etc! I vehemently agree that veterans shouldn’t be asked back unless it is an all Vet game – BUT he at least plays the game! Cody thinks he is playing the game but he doesn’t have the social advantage that Paul has so people aren’t going to gravitate to him for advice – because he doesn’t have good advice!

Marcella July 23, 2017 at 1:49 pm: I don’t think Cody was even much of a BB fan prior to entering the house… a distinct disadvantage. Unfortunately, Paul seems to be the only one with any idea how to play, which is not his fault.id have to fault BB Casting for this bunch of novices. Didn’t Ramses and Alex both say they were “Super Fans”? Not by any super fan measurement of my recollection! They’re both just as awestruck by Paul as the rest of the lug nuts!

If Paul weren’t a part of this season, it would have been more enjoyable. When was the last time we had so many inept characters to watch. In the past, sooner or later a player would figure it out, along with a couple of others in their “alliance” and emerge either a winner or a bitter jury member. Those were the good old days.

I hated Cody from day one. Paul is Playing the game, at least he knows how to. Josh needs to go home, he’s a crybaby and a bully. They might as well get rid of the minions, it’s a good move.👣

Here we go again! Cody and Jessica in charge! They don’t know the meaning of strategy! I think they are more interested in each other than the game! Km glad Cody won the comp to return to the house, because I thought he would play a smarter game! I see Cody going out the front door as soon as Jessica has plkayed her hex! That’s my view!

No Bob…because Cody is just damn weird and uncompromising! Him and his ‘Babe’ think they are the bee’s knees and can’t lose. They are just plain sickening. I can’t stand his attitude toward women…as he says unless they are drop dead gorgeous he has no use for them. Some of us don’t really like Paul but prefer him over Cody because of the reasons I mentioned. I’m not a Paul fan, in fact, last year I couldn’t stand him so that should tell you how much I don’t like Cody!

You know if Jessica had put up Paul that he has too many who still think he’s their best friend. I wish when Dom was standing up there giving a speech and talking above everyone’s heads, she should have said Paul is running this whole show. All of you are giving him the money by doing what he says. None of you are really playing the game. You need to be thinking about how to win, how to get him out. This is a lot of money and you all act like you’re just here on some vacation. Too many of you are here to just make it to Jury. So, though Cody has an anti social personality, I’m willing to look past his stupid remarks as stupidity…I hope his beautiful daughters hair turns bright red since he make a remark negative about a red head…..won’t go into detail. He doesn’t act mature. He’s crazy about Jess but what if she gains ten, twenty pounds? Oh well….for now I want Josh to go and I still feel sorry for him. He is a child. I feel this game should have just been Cody and Paul in a cage fight……I’d watch that and I’m against those things but that’s how boring these ppl are.

This season is SO frustrating! Because of my work schedule, this year I had to subscribe to All Access. Of all crappy times to do so! If my 17 year old daughter didn’t still watch it, I would cancel and save my money. The debate as to whether we would be on Team Cody or team Paul is what is wrong with this season!! Remember the years when there were so many alliances it was hard to keep up? There were silly names for the alliances, which helped me at least remember who was in what alliance. This year it is just Paul and his minions. I am not a fan of Cody. But honestly, thank goodness SOMEONE was willing to go against him. I was apprehensive with Cody coming back because he did mention that he might align with Paul! UGH! Such a disappointment!

I remain completely perplexed as to why these numbskulls follow Paul like the Pied Piper. Did they watch BB18. He’s playing the same game, can they not see that. I’ve decided that BB Production purposefully selected numbskulls so Paul would be able to casually walk to the end.

As many have already said here, why didn’t Jessica nominate 2 of Paul’s minions and at least rid the house of one of them! Hopefully she’ll get wind of Paul’s plan to keep annoying Josh, and use the POV to put up a minion in place of poor naive Ramses. Geezzzz!

Good thing Jessica still has her special power. She may need it next week!

Jessica is better as an HOH than Cody – but not by much! As many have pointed out.. why not put up 2 of the people not on your side – as insurance that at least one will go home? I am a Paul fan only because he knows how to play… The others either avoid becoming HOH or brag how strong they will be and then don’t want to risk making the other side mad! They fight hard to become HOH and then wimp out! The criticism that Paul lies… I don’t understand! Look back at the winners… you have to lie or deceive to advance. The trick is talking yourself back into good graces if you get caught.

These numskulls who claim to have watched Season “This” or Season “That” probably ONLY watched the televised versions! We all know that if that is all they have seen – then they have no idea how to play the game and are just following like sheep.

I would have to agree Juju. I’ve seen every BB episode since season one, when Eddie won. I haven’t watched the feed for the past few seasons… I just don’t have the personal time. But, I read several Blogs every season, (this one new to me this season. Thanks for letting me join in the fun!). I read jokers almost religiously and watch BBAD. If you just tune in to CBS 3x’s a week, you’re getting the “Laverne & Shirley” version.

I have watched since Season 1, too and I have never signed up for live feeds – BUT there is information out there with all the BB Spoiler sites to get more info! With those and BBAD, you can get a pretty good idea of what is going on! The profanity and sex talk is getting to be too much for me so I rarely last through BBAD.

Profanity… you should have seen the feeds during season 9 (I think) when Nasty Natalie liked doing her nightly bathroom striptease for her bubble bath… or the sexual antics of April & Ollie in season 10. I think my last year for the feeds was season 14. I do miss getting to watch some of the HOH comp endings, but that’s about it. Thank goodness lots of folks still get the feeds & like to post updates!

I hate Cody from day 1 : he has a problem, Marine or not. I dated a Marine he never acted like that. He has no social skills and he is just plain mean.

Paul is playing BB, Elena wants TV time hoping to get noticed. Mark is either soft hearted or been in the BB house to long, I don’t know which. I like Matt, so far. I like Raven, so far. Jason, I don’t think he knows the BB game. Alex, I had hope for her, but she is not playing her game, she’s not a leader, she’ a minion. Christmas, I don’t know why they are keeping her, I thought the RING was the reason but she, not playing it as of yet, it’s not fair they should cancel the RING HEX and move on. Kevin is starting to creep me out, I had hope for him to, but he’s letting girls hang around him and he’s kissing them goodnight, he is a married man. I don’t like that, he needs to be called home by his WIFE. Ramses, I like him, he no trouble, he a poor little guy, no game play, I don’t see him making any moves, he is a vote other than that nahhhh. Jessica is Cody’s ho, she play’s better when Cody was gone. Jessica reminds me of Rachel Riley, without Brendon.
That’s my 2 cent’s on the rest.

i hate cody also he was the reason Dominique was evicted he is not a nice guy he is mean spirited and jessica she got all the power but she acts like she doesnt know what to do it . what was best for her is that cody not return to the game but it was rigged for cody to return to the game anyway. why is christmas still there she need to be sent home so that her foot can heel properly she is a fitness trainer she need to go home and return next summer .

Well, they just had the Have Nots meeting and they are the first three to get off the HOH comp. These are Kevin, Mark and Paul. Josh is still a have not. Wonder why they don’t give them an extra food like they have in previous years?

It seems like since they have put all these twists in to vote on they think its too much to have us vote on the extra food for the HNS too!! Or maybe they jut don’t want the additional work! it does seem unfair. Those big guys just about starve on slop and protein drinks! You do need something to chew on occsionally. Other than your words!!lol

The very same thing just happened to Mark a little while ago!!! LOL. He didn’t tell anyone he was opening the box except Elena and everyone was pissed. He picked the wrong box so now he has two weeks of slop! He walked out of the room with his bottom lip dragging the ground! LOL

WOW so many things to ponder I do think funny how Jessica is holding all the cards we’ll see how dice roll on that one figure she’ll hang on to it till Cody gets put on block she is much better than Cody was. I do wish they would do more comps for HG to win different privileges and special things I remember when they used to be inventive about entertaining them self’s hell find things like straws and make pick up sticks lol but yes they listen to Paul good or not think of the show without him this season BORING come to mind at least Kevin is both funny and entertaing and has come up with things to involve the whole house if they choose to join in can’t stand Josh but he will be funny as now according to him all his other actions were just to through everone off his brain cells are dead and the possibility of his becoming HOH is to funny and think what a week that would be ROFLMAO just thinking about it Raven ask mommie for long pants for Christmas Elena a nenpho the rest along for the ride so we’ll see how the week unfolds

BOB…i can’t quote exactly what Cody said about redheads but Jess, Kevin and Cody were talking about music and making fun of some song and I think it was Kevin who was trying to think of who sang it and Kiev said ‘I think it’s a red headed guy… can’t think of his name’…CODY smirked and said YEAH, Sounds like some redhead would sing it..(he didn’t like the song) Now some ppl would say that’s not a put down but he was talking about how he didn’t like it and smirking. My beautiful daughter has red hair and would blow Jess away. I wanted to be a ‘mom’ and smack Cody on top of the head. He needs to talk less….. so hopefully his daughter will grow bright beautiful red hair, curly and a few freckles.
And no matter what Megan did, a man should be respectful even if he didn’t like her… what he said when he put her up was nothing but mean. If my husband acted like Cody to other women i’d be his worse nightmare. So Cody doesn’t get a pass because he served our country. He has no class and though he said Paul has short man syndrome or little man syndrome… Cody’s not a tall man himself. When he grows up and looses his looks he’ll regret how superficial he is. But I still want Paul out and I’d rather Jessica get him out but I know doing it right now is too early. I think if Christmas hadn’t broken her foot she and Paul would eventually gone head to head since he’s already said negative things behind her back. Paul says he’s a straight shooter…..???? Straight, behind your back… you’re still getting shot. But he’s not… he’s lying to everyone. I know that’s part of the game and I’d do it too.
Raven needs to make buddies with Jessica and not show her feelings on her face. Its like poker… you have to bluff everyone if you want to seem a non threat. I’m wishing Kevin would tell the kids that these kids winning competitions are the ones that need to go home because one of them will win the money.

Raven is very childish in her behavior! Matt is robbing the cradle being a 32 year old interested in a juvenile-minded 23 year old.
Josh is long past going home and now Paul wants to jock him over Ramses who tries way too hard to fit in…reminding one of a 12 year old girl.
Elena is just a Ho and doesn’t mind the entire audience knowing! She is just plain nasty in mind and body image…why in God’s name did she think showing her fat ass on tv was cool?!? AND what’s up with her jumping from rubbing up against Mark (poor dumb Mark) to
rubbing all over Paul…she even came close to sticking her hands down Paul’s pants while Mark (poor dumb Mark) was sitting across from her. THEN while coaxing Mark (poor dumb Mark) to drop his towel Elena says Yes she has seen Mark’s penis. Mark (poor dumb Mark) is nowhere near a “Captain Save A Ho” and is just too damn dumb to see how she is playing him.
Christmas is on pain pills…ok but she was like this before the pills.
Kevin just told Raven if I was only younger…WTF Dude! Then Raven wiggled her ass off to find Matt.
Alex and liquor…enough said.

Didn’t bb used to give peanut butter sandwiches as have nots.? I know some ppl have allergies but I’d be happy with almond or cashew butter sandwiches but then I’d want all organic. Cody and Jess are in the hammock complimenting each other so much it’s sickening. Jess was telling a story about a job with lawyers that she worked. After three of the lawyers saw her wearing a bikini on the beach with her mother they asked her to leave her job because she was too much of a distraction. Her beauty and desirability must be such a cross to bear! 🖤

Did anyone else notice how unfair the HOH comp was? Cody got most of the punishments as each HG was eliminated! When Cody was eliminated, it would have made sense for him to have Christmas get the punishment, right? Well, I think he showed he was a gentleman when he chose Ramses. BUT, did you notice the punishment they gave Ramses? Two LITTLE squirts of something! How unfair was that after they bombarded Cody with trash, garbage, catsup mustard, etc., and Jessica got black goop that looked like tar! I never thought I would be rooting for Jessica or Cody, but they deserved to win! I hope they win every comp from now on! I have never been so frustrated with BB. After tonight’s show, I feel like I want Cody or Jessica to win the whole thing. I am so sick of seeing Elena rubbing all over Paul! This season is crazy!!
Well, that’s my view!

I noticed, though I think Production was doing punishments in a particular order. I think it was time for the spray painter when Ramses got his.

I was amazed at how Cody stood there and just took the abuse from his fellow HGs. He didn’t flinch until started attacking Jessica. But Jessica… that girl is one tough cookie!

I’ve liked Cody from the start, but it doesn’t seem too many here feel the same. Thanks for coming over to the dark side Jolee!

Have any of you seen the article out on social media about Raven’s mother going after BB fans who don’t like Raven. A lot of people on social media believe that Raven is exaggerating her illness and have been very vocal. Her mother is asking FB friends to ruin Raven Haters’ lives by reporting them to Child Protection, etc,

They have published info about the ‘haters’ telling where they work, live and showing pictures of their families.

Interesting that Jess and Cody are acting offended at behavior directed at them now from the other houseguests which reflects the way Cody and Jessica treated the under dogs of the first weeks. Was a sign of power and good play when they were on top but hurts a lot more when its directed at you and you are now the under dog. This show has been on long enough everyone should remember you don’t get to stay on top for the whole game.
Paul has now encited many of the others to act like fools and be mean back. Just about everything he accuses he is also doing. Did your mother not teach you ‘two wrongs don’t make a right’?
It is hard to watch. Even for some of the others who don’t want to behave this way but don’t have the strength to stand up against it because it may hurt their own games going forward. Just sad.
