Big Brother 19 — So that’s how it happened…

Hi y’all!

So, after tonight’s show, we know how Jessica won HoH. That competition should have scared a lot of people. Christmas showed that she can still compete. Cody showed that it takes more than just taunting and trash to get him to step off a platform. Jessica showed that she’s a lot more determined to win than I think a lot of people realize..

But you know what? The main thing that people are going to remember is Josh acting like an idiot.

Josh really divides viewers. It seems that people either love him or hate him. Those who like him always seem to argue that Josh has the courage to call everyone out. Myself, I thought he came across like a child tonight. Singing songs about meatballs and grinning like an idiot doesn’t exactly make you a strategic genius. If anything, his taunting made Jessica and Cody even more determined to win. And it certainly made him the obvious target.

As we all know, Josh and Ramses are on the block. Everyone has been telling Cody and Jessica that they are planning on voting out Josh and Josh has been pretending to act depressed and defeated. However, that’s just because that’s what Paul told him to do. Paul has been trying to convince everyone to vote out Ramses instead. He wants to pull off another blindside and he wants to keep Josh around to do his dirty work for him.

And it really looked like Paul might succeed. Jessica was so sure that Josh was going home that, after she won the veto, she told Cody that she wasn’t even going to use it. Apparently, she felt so certain of things that she had no problem leaving her pawn on the block. Needless to say, that’s always a huge mistake.

And it looks like Jessica may finally be realizing that something is going on. Earlier tonight, she was telling Cody that she is now thinking about using the veto and putting up … Alex! Apparently, she’s decided that it might make more sense to target Alex than Josh. (Cody, for his part, said that he needed Josh out of the house for the sake of his sanity.) Jessica says she’s going to ask Paul if the house really is unanimous about voting out Josh and, if she gets any indication that Paul is lying, she’s going to use the veto and put up Alex.

What I’m wondering is why even bother to ask Paul? It’s your veto. Just use it and put up Alex or Mark or Matt or whoever. What you don’t do is just leave a potential ally on the block. This is a numbers game and, if you don’t protect your people, you won’t have the numbers to win. It’s as simple as that.

We’ll see what happens with the veto meeting tomorrow,

Josh sucks. He’s just a big baby that talks too much. Paul is manipulating him quite well, which doesn’t seem that difficult to do. I hope he goes.

Side note, I really liked the edit of the DR session as the first few people botched the HOH comp in seconds. Good comedy!

I wonder if Jess put up Paul and of course he’d most likely be safe because everyone’s too stupid to vote him out but at least Josh would get voted out and it’s a good thing imo to make Paul freak out.

Jason spilled the beans to Cody and told him the plan that Paul wanted the house to vote out Ramses.

Cody told Jessica so I don’t know why she would go ask Paul any opinion? Maybe this was before Jason told Cody.

Josh is a mental case and scary. Like a time bomb and I have to give Cody alot of credit to take the emotional taunting.

Cody did say to Jason..this is your game..not Paul’s..when are you all going to start playing it!

Is Jessica doesn’t use the veto she’s crazy. Jessica showed she’s a strong and determined player so she just might step up and make the right decision. Josh is a tough cookie to stomach even when he’s not off his rocker. He needs to leave yesterday. That will be too bad for Paul since he is such a good minion.

If the house were smart, Jessica would take Ramses down and put Paul up and then the house would vote him out! As much as I would like to see Josh go, Paul needs to go and this is the perfect opportunity to do it – especially before Jury. Because if Paul gets into the Jury, the whole lot of them will vote the way he wants them to. It’s really sad to see so many of the “players” being played by Paul. I wish BB would get some older people who have brains of their own and wouldn’t just be a bunch of little lambs being led around by the wolf.

Boy, I hope Jessica uses the veto and puts someone up against Josh that will cause people to vote for Josh to go! His time should be up. Totally, agree , he looked like a 5 year old in tonight’s show. He is a bully that treats people poorly theb crystal when they put him up.

Jeanne, you are so right. People can hate on Cody and Jessica
all they want, but I don’t believe there is another person in
that entire group of hgs. who would have been able to withstand
the treatment they all dished out to them on the HOH comp. The
entire balance of this season has been based on dishing out all
the mean treatment they could, then crying when it came their
turn to take something as little as HN. These floaters or whatever name can be attached to them by their behavior in the house haven’t played the game since day one. They sit back and
robotically do everything Paul the snake tells them to do.
I didn’t know which was worse tonight….the ganging up on Cody
and Jess by pushing every punishment on them, or the hysterical laughing when it was done to them, or Josh behaving like the mean bully he is and their encouragement for him to
continue such juvenile behavior.
Paul was especially mean and vicious, even going so far as to send instructions to Josh on what to do to make it worse. Paul is a coward above all else. He gets everyone else to do his dirty work for him and just sits back and pulls the strings. This was
never more evident than when he controlled Alex’s HOH and
blamed his own suggestions upon her.
He acts like most of the dictators in the world, who think only
of themselves and treat those under them or those they perceive
as against them with every method of punishment they have
at hand. He has shown to have not one ounce of class or true
courage this entire game.
I hope and pray Jess follows through and puts someone up after
taking down Ramses. Like Lisa said, she needs the numbers and
will never have loyalty or truth from this herd of sheep with
Paul as the shepherd. Josh has got to go. He is so loud and ob-
noxious with his childish taunts and lack of sportsmanship, then
cries when he loses or is called upon to pay a consequence for
his behavior. This is a grown man with a child’s mind and
toolbox empty of any tools for survival in the real world.

Why didn’t he put his big boy panties on and shout out to Christmas himself not to make a deal instead of telling Jugs Elena to go whisper it in Josh’s ear. And brainwashed Jugs the skank robotic b**** who is just another one of the PaulBots dutifully carried out her mission. She will do whatever Paul tells her because she’s wanting to hang on to his celebrity coat strings. She thinks their relationship is going to benefit her outside of the house. Last night they were talking about their followers and how many new followers they think they may pick up because of being on BB. Only a handful of these guests are really there to play the game. Christmas is only worried about her branding and platform. You can tell that by the conversations that she has with Raven. She’s always telling Raven “oh you’re increasing your platform just by being here.” So we know what their priorities are. The game and winning the money is secondary to most of these people and that’s why they make for lousy players. I like Jason the cowboy and I still like Alex except for the fact that she’s so jealous of Jessica. And I can’t stand the fact that Raven is always blaming Ramses for taking the $25,000. I wonder if she would still be flirting with Kevin if she knew that he was the one who took the money.

Janna… yes you are correct, “kibosh” means putting a stop to something. I don’t remember who or what season but somebody became ill because they were eating too much PB&J because of their diabetes so for health reasons BB stopped it in subsequent years. You know how much you hate Cody and Jessica?… Well, that’s how I feel about Christmas. Everything about her makes my skin crawl almost as much as that skanky Jugs Elena.

Marcella… Welcome to our blog. It’s a special place where we all respect each other’s opinions no matter how different. You and I are on the same page, mostly. I’m glad that you came to Cody’s defense over the Amy Schumer comment.

I’m done with Kevin. Enough is enough. Raven and especially Christmas are really pissing me off by rubbing all over him shaking their little butts in front of him laying around spread eagle in front of him. He should have more respect for his wife by telling those two floozies to knock it off. They should hajve more respect for themselves than to flirt with a married man. I wonder what his girls and wife are thinking.

Last night Christmas got in trouble and was called into the DR because she took a drink of alcohol while being on meds.

Tendr… I really like your idea for Jessica to pull down Ramses, put up Paul and then have Josh expose all of Paul’s dirty deeds. That would make for quite a show. But really what she would do if she really wants to assure Josh going home would be to put up Raven since everybody seems to love Raven the fraud.

I REALLY think this would be the best opportunity to get Paul out of the house! As much as I would love to see Josh go, I would rather see Paul go. Plus, it’s not going to be that hard to get rid of Josh later.

the entire house, but this group will only vote Josh out
and keep their leader, Paul. As it is, he’s got his poison circulating and splitting the house. Mark and Elena are being
kept in the dark by Paul and his minions, but may be brought
into the circle, if Paul felt threatened. Jason is the only one who
might have the guts to vote out Paul, but even that is not a sure
thing. Christmas, Kevin, Alex, Raven, and Matt are all going to
do what Paul says, including jumping off the cliff when he is
tired of dragging them along.

I know that Alex is supposed to drink a lot if Coke products in order to get a commercial after the show is over, but I think shes dumping the coke and drinking wine 🍷. I saw her drinking it and it was very red. Just notice it next time she has a coke bottle. 🍷🍷🍷

I have a real problem with this. No one should be allowed
(IMHO) to play the game, if they have commercial or
professional plans urged on by particular behavior in the
house. Alex is not the player she thinks she is, nor I once thought
she was. And I wish she would quit beating on Jason!

Great comments everyone! We started watching BBAD tonight and ended up fast forwarding through most of it. Between Josh talking to the camera and Elena flashing her almost bare behind and her constant infatuation with her boobs, we ended up skipping most of it. Hey, I agree they were so mean to Cody and Jessica, shows how childish the rest of the group is. By the way Christmas is on imdb and not just for big brotherm she is suppose to be in acouple of movies and is listed as an actress, so I wonder where they found her out, you all should check it out, my husband found it and I was surprised.

Thank you Lisa for your spot on blogging. Sherry and Junksies both your thoughts reflect mine completely. Sometimes I’m too much of a coward to say what I think. I haven’t liked Christmas since her interview with Jeff.
If anyone checked Paul’s clothing line last year you would have seen The word “Friendship” on most of the shirts. This year I only see one with it and he’s hardly saying the word. He ran that word into the ground to plug his own business and not because he believes in friends. I always thought little yellow rubber ducks were the cutest things and every little child should have at least one. Paul’s wearing that duck float continuously last year left a bad taste for all little ducks. Now this year he’s returned as little Napoleon the tyrant.
I so hope Jessica uses her veto and puts one of them up.

Wisteria77: If I was able to say what you wanted said, then so be
it, but never feel like your views or opinions are any less
important than anyone else’s. I admit there has been a bigger
divide this season on opinions about hgs than I ever remember
before, but we still respect those differences. This blog is one
of the friendliest and most caring of any blog out there. It isn’t
ever easy to be in the minority, but minorities are just different
flavors of ice cream. Vanilla can get rather boring if that is the
only flavor offered.

I really enjoy reading Everyone’s opinions. . Thanks so much Lisa Marie. I have to say that Sherry and Junksies have said what I’ve been thinking this whole time. I was so happy for Jess when she won HOH and then when she said it was 3 years that day that her Dad died, I really felt for her. I am rooting for Cody and Jess to go all the way. It probably won’t happen but at least they aren’t under Paul’s spell. Hopefully they at least get Josh out this week.

Kevin needs to be called out about winning the 25,027.00 money. But I understand that he wants to keep it secret, Paul is the only one who knows. Elana been getting on my nerves, there are so many that has not been playing the game. I would get the people ( minions out ) they contribute nothing to the game, maybe it will be more interesting.

I really like this blog. I have been following it for a few years now. I feel as if I know some of you, based on what you have shared of your personal lives. I am not sure if it is just this season/these contestants or what has changed, but the tone is different. I don’t recall name calling of contestants on the blog before, at least not to the level I am seeing now? We may or may not like some of the behaviours the contestants are exhibiting but it makes me sad to see some of my fellow bloggers getting so frustrated that they are resorting to this. I wouldn’t want someone calling me or mine these names. I have no intention to offend, simply remind, we are all people with feelings, word hurt.

I watch this show to see the changes in behaviour over time. The changes that happen to people confined to a space with no outside contact. You all must see those changes in the contestants. I believe that over time so contestant forget that the cameras and microphones are there. Sometimes they need to be reminded, or remind themselves. Maybe not all of them, those with strong motives, but some, who came to play the game, may need to be reminded… Just my two cents.

First off let me say that the shrink wrap works! I do it alot, and i wear one when I walk. So Kevin knows what hes talking about there 🙂 Now Josh really just needs to go, there is something unstable about that boy! And to be the only one taunting during a HOH and then be the first one to go ‘talk’ to the HOH! You look like a complete fool!

Rich… No I don’t get the feeling that Jessica was talked out of anything. In fact just last night a light bulb went off in my head. I was thinking that a smart player would keep big brother out of the loop. I’m just waking up so this might sound scrambled… last night while Jess and Cody were in the HOH room I noticed that Jessica was kind of closed mouth and not to Cody but it was almost like she didn’t want to say anything within the ears of of Big Brother. I wish I could remember the specifics and maybe I will later after I’m awake but what triggered in my mind was that if I really wanted to be a superpower player and not manipulated by Big Brother I wouldn’t reveal my true thoughts to them in the diary room. This game has changed to include outsmarting Big Brother.

I know it would be great to put Paul up, but he won’t go home,
and he will be after Jess and Cody like a flyswatter on a fly. Jess
can’t play next week for HOH, which only leaves Cody to try
to keep them safe (not counting the temptation she has).
I am hoping Jason comes to work with Cody and Jess. He is the
only one who wants to see Paul removed from the house, but
has had to keep quiet to keep them from coming after him. One
day he’s going to understand Alex is not his friend in this game.

I hope she puts up Raven. It would do her good to have to sit
on the block. She has been so catty about those who have had
to do it. In fact she comes on individually as if she is everyone’s
best friend, walks away, and immediately starts badmouthing
that person.
I don’t know who it was who mentioned the foul mouth she’s
developed, but they are right. She gets very loud and foul at
night, but it’s all to play up to the cameras.

The reason I don’t like Cody is because he started out trying to get in the pants of more than one of the girls (per the conversations between the girls). He is angry at Alex because she told him she was not there for a hook up but to play the game and he is afraid of her abilities. He even called Jess by Alex’s name one time while they were in the HOH bed (surprisingly shown on a TV episode).
He brags about killing people and the glassy eyed stare makes me afraid he will be on the news for a mall shooting some day. He has some obvious mental damage from his military experiences as he has admitted.
He is blatantly having sex with Jess on camera.
Has kept the fact that he has a child from a one night stand while on leave a secret from everyone except Jess. Talks about the rigid discipline he uses to train his child. No wonder he only gets to see her for 2 months a year and gave that up to be on BB.
His team got upset at him for demanding they follow him blindly in a bad game move and now blames them for being disloyal. You can’t demand respect but have to earn it which he clearly blew the very first week. It is convenient how he forget all that and rants against others.
He is chauvinistic and has mentioned several character flaws he does not like in a woman to Jess (all things that apply to her, for instance a woman with tattoos is trashy (boy, did he get upset when she said she liked Pal’s tats)) but she sticks with him any way because she is using him as a shield.
He bullied everyone on the other side who he thought were beneath him until he was evicted. He talks rudely and cruelly to people including Jess.
He is now trying to be better at social skills after having all the interviewers tell him how lousy he was at it when he was out of the house. He is not fooling anyone with this phoney interest now which is why they are all banding together to do just the opposite of what he and Jess are demanding this week as HOH just like he did his first week.
I know many of you who are TV only have not seen some of these conversations that are on the live feeds but only get the CBS edit which is done for suspense and ratings.
And those are just some of the reasons why I don’t like Cody! But you don’t have to agree with me, just get the feeds.

I also noticed Jessica looking at the camera, then she stopped saying anything about her plans. Shes one smart cookie. I would guess that if anyone would put Paul up it would be her. I would love to see her backdoor Paul. Even though Josh makes me uncomfortable, it would be worth another week with Josh to see Paul booted out. I think this game is going to get a lot more interesting with Paul back. I like the way he’s mingling with the other players. He seems more relaxed than before. I love that hes going to take his lead from Jessica. Hopefully production will see how boring this season has been and have more player participation events. Even just throwing the apple back and forth last night, was better then having them just laying around. Going to have my coffee and donut. See you all later.

grannyo… i dont get to feeds but I do watch after dark enough to have a different perspective about Cody. I think he is misunderstood in a lot of ways and his actions misinterpreted . He has admitted that he played a bad first couple of weeks and has humbled himself to listen to Jessica. I think he’s an old fashioned old school fellow who has little tolerance for phony immature people. He has a deadpan dry sense of humor that a lot of people don’t get. I agree with Bob that he might have a little pstd but I disagree that he’s going to be the next serial killer. He seems inpatient and a little antsy but that doesn’t make him a nut job or a bad person. The more I see of him the more I like him and the more I don’t get why so many see things so differently from me and some others on this blog. But that’s okay we all have our opinions and sometimes I just feel the need to come to Cody’s defense. However I will say that I don’t like how he burps and farts in front of Jessica. That grosses me out and is totally unacceptable. That is acceptable behavior when you’re in the corps but he’s got to realize it’s not acceptable behavior anywhere else. Jessica told him to knock it off or he’s never going to get into her panties to which he responded something about marriage and fornication. That says to me that he is at least aware that his behavior is fornication and must feel a little bit guilty about it. Jessica didn’t hear anything past the word marriage. If anybody can get him to stop such crude behavior it will be Jessica. I think they are genuinely in lust maybe even in love. I still believe in love at first sight. Okay I’m done babbling.

Thank you Junksies. I just went on the site. I am so glad I did.
Ever since day one, Christmas has looked too familiar to me.
But I couldn’t figure out why. It says she’s known for BB2000.
I think I have probably seen her in a movie, too. So we have
two returnees, instead of just one. She is an actress and may not
be telling the truth about all the other things she claims. If I’m
mistaken, please correct me.

I totally agree with you Junksies! I think Cody is misunderstood by some also. I think he is adorable and honestly cares deeply for Jessica. I think they are so cute together. I have the live feeds it don’t watch them often but I have never been offended by anything Cody has said. What bothers me more is how fake Raven is. Everyone thinks she is this sweet nice girl and I think she is the biggest two faced person in the game. I can’t believe how mean she is about Cody when he was willing to give his game to her. I have 3 millennial daughters and I know they would never act like that. I would be proud if they had a guy like Cody!

I am sick. Jess didn’t use the veto, now Ramses will go home and
Baby Huey will go to jury and go after them on the next HOH comp.
Another wasted HOH. After all they’ve gone through with these
idiots, why suddenly think you can trust them to do the right thing
and to tell you the truth? Jess shouldn’t have put Ramses up to
begin with. The rant and jumping around by Josh is like a gorilla

Now I’m sick too! I was waiting to see if Jess went through with using the Veto. I can’t believe that she just blindly believes that all these people are going to do what she wants – even though going against what she wants means keeping that idiot Josh in the house. He is just a time bomb waiting to explode, BIG time! I mean, he’s already blowing small bombs every time he opens his mouth. Y’all are right when you call him “diaper boy” and a “gorilla in a cage”. I literally die laughing at both descriptions.

Paul needs to go! I can’t believe that the rest of the group has not realized yet exactly what he’s doing – pulling all the strings. I’m with Bob – I may stop watching this season, and just read the blog to keep up. I’m so disappointed in this season.

I really like Cody and wanted him back in the house, but I can’t believe that he didn’t do more to try and convince Jess to at least change the nominations with the Veto.

out of using the veto. He apparently told her not to make
any waves for right now. Once again his insight to people
is way off base, and he should have let Jess run her own HOH
using her instincts to guide her.
I was beginning to like Kevin, especially when he did that whole
episode on taking Ramses under his wing. But he is a gutless
wonder after all. When it came to trying to save his fledgling,
he turned on him and started helping Josh to please Paul. I
think there were enough votes to turn the tables on Paul, but
no one had the courage to stand up to Paul and tell him to
stuff it on this one. They can’t seem to figure out Paul is playing
for only one person…himself and will decimate anyone who gets
in his way unless the numbers turn on him. The real problem is
there are only a couple who are even interested in winning at
the end. They only want to get to jury and sit back and get their
stipend. That has been Paul’s main selling point. He has laid
out a financial plan that supposedly shows you make more
money just going to jury than winning in the end. Whether or
not that’s true, they’ve all bought into his “wisdom”.
I don’t know if I will be able to watch the eviction Thurs. Josh
will be such an a$$, it will be sickening. He will go off like
a rocket without a destination.

OMG!!! I was so hoping that Jessica had something else up her sleeve. Well now I can only hope that she knows something that we don’t and the players are going to realize they don’t want to be in the jury with Josh.

Seems that Matt may be waking up to Paul’s shenanigans a little bit. The other night Matt expressed resistance to what Paul was trying to sell him. Paul was telling Matt that Cody is not that great of a competitor and Matt looked at him like he had two heads and said “are you kidding me he just won three competitions to get back in.” I don’t really care for Matt’s style of game play, being a floater, he needs to get rid of that orange muscle shirt, and I agree with you Macy his mustache has to be soggy from all of that licking. That licking annoys me to no end.

The wave room reminds me of a padded cell… exactly where Josh belongs…

Lord. I still like Raven and Matt and Christmas even though I don’t like some of her actions… my daughters do all sorts of things I don’t like but I still love them. I still like Kevin. The house would change for the better with Paul gone and still be interesting.

Josh is unstable at the least. He’s a bully of epic proportions. His manic behavior is unnerving just to watch. It amazes me that someone so obviously unstable is allowed to live in the BB house. Yes, I know they’ve done this countless times, but you’d think they’d eventually learn. the fact that he is such a large man is intimidating. This guy needs a psychological intervention!

On a lighter note…. Jessica still has her special power and Cody gets to play for HOH this week! I think HGs are beginning to unmask Paul… finally.

You can sure tell the difference in this seasons players. The fact that Big Brother picked them verses the players that applied to be on Big Brother. I think Ramses and Paul are the only ones that had watched the show and knew about the game. Most of them had never seen BB until they were selected to play the game. It’s got to get better, it can’t get any worse. I think bringing Cody back is a plus.
