Big Brother 19 — Tonight’s Episode

Hi, y’all!

Tonight’s episode was a little bit strange. While we already knew that Christmas was going to win HoH and that Jason and Matt were going to go up on the block, tonight’s episode did show us a little of how that came to happen. Since the feeds were down for the first few hours of Christmas’s HoH, I guess it was interesting to see what her thinking was.

I say that I “guess” it was interesting because, honestly, nothing that we learned surprised me. What did surprise me was that Christmas honestly seems to think that backdooring Mark is a big move. She spent almost the entire episode bragging about how, if she didn’t get Mark out, she would at least break up one of the couples. But, honestly, getting rid of the house’s target is not a big move. And I don’t think anyone takes Matt and Raven seriously as a power couple. For that matter, Jason and Alex aren’t quite as strong as everyone seems to think that they are.

We saw a lot of Alex tonight. She’s convinced that Kevin’s a cop. Alex has let her two HoHs go to her head, despite the fact that she spent both of her HoHs taking orders from Paul. For that matter, I’m not sure what Christmas was acting so smug about. The only reason she won HoH was because Paul threw it to her.

*sigh*

Oh well!

As for yesterday’s veto comp, Jason won it and he will, of course, be saving himself. Mark will be going up in his place so it looks like he’ll be going home on Thursday.

Paul did one of his Friendship shows earlier today. Speaking directly to the viewers, he informed us that he was absolutely serious about taking Christmas and Josh to the final three, though it’s possible that he might drop Christmas and take Raven instead. Paul said that his main goal, at this point, was to make sure that only people he could beat made it to the final three.

Tomorrow, it’s the veto meeting!

P.S. Zingbot hosted the veto. Apparently, Zingbot said that Josh was fat, the Matt hadn’t done anything “other than Raven” all summer, and that Raven was a clown. Also, he sang to Christmas. We’ll see it all on Wednesday!

I was totally surprised that Christmas wasn’t secretly targeting Paul! I thought she wanted to make a big move! Mark isn’t a big move…. I was wrong about that one! Thought she was stronger….

I don’t know why so many people don’t like Mark. what has he ever done to anyone? plus he has no friends in the house so how is he even a threat? I’ve been rooting for him but looks like he’s on his way out unfortunately. disappointed.

I find it interesting how Josh has changed. Let me premise this with I do not watch the live feeds. On tonight’s show he seems to have lost his crazy, paranoia.

Somebody needs to tell Christmas there is only 1 big move they can make and that’s to turn on Paul. Paul gets credit though for knowing what to do and knowing how to manipulate these HGs.

He had so much anger towards Jody that he couldn’t control
it. Now that they are gone, and Paul is not encouraging the
bad behavior so much, he is clamer for those reasons, too.
Do you watch BBAD? I was laughing at how the guys were all
giving Josh advice (Christmas, too) on how to approach girls,
and how to get them interested in you. None of their suggestions
were all that great, but telling him not to pull a girl’s hair to
get her attention was pretty good advice.

Tendr are you OK ?
I thought tonight’s show was dull, dreadful dull. Even a blind person ( just a pun ) could tell Paul threw that HOH to Christmas. Good grief it was so obvious, I don’t think she knew the answer ¿ it sure was odd.
We are watching the Royals ( Inside Windsor Castle ) . Nothing else going on here. Gotta hit the ground running in the Am. Work, I love being a nurse, I love my job. This week work Mon, & Tues, off Weds & Thurs. And the love/hate weekend, it’s my 3 day weekend to work. I like it off, so I have to work it too. So I might not be posting much. But I will be around and say at least hi. I heading to bed in a few, night yall.
PS. The lemon and poppy muffins were a winner. Oh let me tell yall this tomorrow before going to the floor where I work, I have to report to staffing that I had eaten a lemon and poppy muffin. You know why ? Poppy will make a drug test positive, I’m gonna bring them some to eat lol. As proof, they will love that, they will gobble them up. 👣 Eclipse tomorrow 👣

Lisa you just said everything I wanted to say. If I didn’t know better
I would think Christmas hit her head rather than breaking her
foot. How she could be in the house this long and think getting
Mark out is a big move is baffling. To act so smug when she knows
Paul handed her the HOH made me feel embarrassed for her. I had to wonder, too, why no one else picked up on him throwing it to her. Or maybe they did, and I didn’t see it. I haven’t been watching
the feeds.the feeds or BBAD for the past couple of days.
I had one more observation. Raven looked terrible tonight. She had
bags under her eyese like she hasn’t been sleeping. Is there
something going on with her to keep her from sleeping?

Sherry I had a little hope when Mark talked to Christmas and Josh and after he left she said that maybe Mark was on to something. And I saw them

Much one big alliance is you don’t have any replacement choices if you want to ” make a big move!” Idiots! Lol

Raven looks terrible without make up! She has white skin as she naturally has dark hair. She looks even paler tho with the red.
And this was meant to be tongue in cheek, but on BBAD on the scroll they run, it said that Raven had developed Arthritis in the last 30 minutes!! Hypochondriac much??? 😁

Last night she and Matt were eating at the bar when she was rubbing her arms and legs saying she has “Arthur-itis.” Matt busted up laughing…I thought he was going to choke on his mouthful of food while saying “stop, just stop…there isn’t any Arthur in Arthritis!” I was so hoping that his protest was going to be about her many “ailments” and not just the pronunciation of them!! Later when the scroll flew by sarcastically referring to her suddenly contracting arthritis I busted up.

And of course she died on the operating table twice.. and she will die if she gets deeper than 10 feet in water or if you put an iphone on her stomach, etc. Someone said she said she couldn’t have dairy products. Lisa… Exactly!!

Xmas is just as delusional about her “big move” as she is about how beautiful she thinks she is. The Mark eviction has been planned for at least 2-3 weeks by Paul and she darn well knows it! And so do we. It’s his turn in the pecking order. Does she forget there are cameras 24/7? It’s really sad and pathetic if she actually believes she is making a bada$$ move. BB engineered another edit for one of their favs but it is not working to anybody with ½ brain. She keeps talking about how much she loves Mark Wahlberg and wants him to tell her how beautiful she is. Hah! She’s about a 6 and drops to a 3 when she smiles.

Paul never looks happy, never rests and seems particularly disturbed ever since he heard Alex slip up in front of him in the HOH that Jason is her ride or die. When have we ever seen him talk strategy, serious strategy with Maven as he did this evening during bbad? He never gives either of them the time of day but has had to shift his strategy now that house numbers are dwindling. They sat there nodding like the Bobble Heads they are!! Paul has been planting seeds for at least a week to get Kevin out after Mark and it’s working on both Alex and Xmas. Next he’s going after Jason to break up the Alex/Jason duo. He lines them up like little bumper cars. The only reason Josh is calm is because Paul isn’t stoking the flames. Kevin tried to make a move behind Paul’s back, so did Mark and both immediately became targets. How DARE they try and play the game!! King Paul is the only one who is allowed play the game and if you try it’s suicide!! Nobody can make a move because Paul will come for you. Don’t even get out of line for one second…in fact, don’t even try to talk because Paul, Xmas and Alex will all chime in to shut you down as they did Josh tonight. Josh complied like an obedient little dog. I wonder how Josh’s family feels about the way he is being treated by Paul. Do you think their pride is allowing them to say “oh, it’s just a game?” His mother may say that but I’ll bet his father and brother feel differently.
I don’t recall who Paul was talking strategy with (maybe Alex) but a few weeks ago he said that Xmas will not get to the end because there are too many physical competitions that she won’t be able to play in and therefore will be taken out earlier rather than later. “She’s not a threat that we have to worry about.” Obviously, his strategy has changed because he now plans a serious F3 with her and Josh? Does anybody think that even he is noticing, as I do, that production is catering to Xmas by substituting hard physical comps for easier physical comps and mental comps? You betcha he’s noticing and taking the dummy and the invalid as his first choice.

Junksies… Do you think these people are so isolated that they honestly don’t see what Paul is doing? Just because I think Paul is the only one playing a strategic game doesn’t mean I agree with his tactics… and you described them perfectly. Why would Mark try to convince Jason last week to make a move against Paul and then roll over and give Paul (of all people) a week of safety? I don’t get it!

And I was totally fooled by Christmas and thought she would use her HOH (that fell in her lap) to make a real game changing move! That may have been her only chance if she can’t compete again.

I am beginning to think you all are going to get your wish after all and one of the temptations may get Cody back in the house – which would not make me happy – but would definitely liven up the game! Julie said there wouldn’t be a buy back – she didn’t say there couldn’t ever be a switch with a jury member just like at the beginning of the game!

of the day and that the rest don’t have a clue how to play the
game. They are content to let Paul guide them to the final3.
They can’t imagine their hero having final 3 deals with everyone
else in the house. Will they never get together and talk game
with anyone… but Paul? If they would they would find out
who the real Paul is. He has strategically gained their trust
and divided them into smaller groups and sworn them to
secrecy. But normally those who try to make too many deals with everyone get exposed and the house blows up. Doesn’t look like this will happen with Paul.

But like you, I really don’t like the way he’s played the game and some of the tactics he’s used to demean people. He isn’t satisfied with outwitting them, he wants to crush them and make their lives miserable. That is what I cannot abide in his game playing.
But I can never expect everyone to think just as I do. The
blending of different opinions is what makes BB different from
other reality shows.

I really don’t think Cody will get another chance to get back in
the game. But I just can’t figure out the joker deal. The apple tree
thing will go on for the next three weeks, from what I’ve
understood. So I don’t see any opportunity for Cody to get
back in through a twist. (IMHO)

They are so star stuck by the big bad experienced vet and just happy that he has taken them under his wing. Most of them have no idea how to play the game and seem content to just make it to jury. It’s too complicated for them to figure out so they yield their game to Paul who is dragging them along with him. He refers to this farce as “protecting” them while they are being lead to the slaughter. It’s willful ignorance. They are useful idiots. Alex and Christmas are partial exceptions in that they seem to have a better handle on how to play the game but have shown themselves to be cowards by letting Paul run their HOHs under the guise of “it’s too early to make a big move.”

I don’t get either why Mark gave Paul safety. Perhaps it was a last ditch effort that Paul might show him favor and not backdoor him.

Another predictable episode …Yawn….Do anyone else feel like this season is just dragging on?I don’t think I’ll be sitting on the edge of my seat on the final episode like I did with BB Canada.

Last night’s episode was so predictable because we already knew who won HOH, who the nominees were, who won POV and Zingbot being in the house. CBS needs to do something to fix the slowness. They can either stop live feeds (they won’t kill that money maker); do a quicker job editing and have shows on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (doubtful); just go to one episode a week (again doubtful). The only good Sunday and Wednesday shows are to see how the competition actually went down.

On a different note, Paul has a F3 with Christmas and Josh; Alex and Jason; and Matt and Raven. Who do you think Paul is lying to or is he lying to everyone and will just go with the twosome that goes the furthest?

Christmas was making me sick talking about her “big move” which apparently was only big in her mind. Everyone knew the plan was to backdoor Mark just like next week’s “big move” is to get Kevin out. A “big move” would be to backdoor Paul but we all know that won’t happen.

Kudos to Josh for actually putting his foot down. I guess Paul, Alex and others were egging him on to get under Kevin’s skin but Josh refused. Good for Josh.

I’m sitting in my backyard with my special sunglasses watching the eclipse. It is truly awesome. But had to check in just for a second to see what’s going on in the BB blog.

Has anyone else heard this rumor?
“RUMOR: There will be a temptation where someone is offered a large sum of money to leave the game now, going straight to Jury. ($25,000 is the rumored amount, but $10,000 would probably work, too) The curse would be that someone from the Jury will return to the game, perhaps even competing to do so. ”

I didn’t believe it at first… but this show is getting so predictable at this point that I am wondering if this is true… Maybe that is what is in one of the apples or maybe has to do with the lockers and the keys…

work. But I have to thinkg it has something to do with the
lockers and keys. I swing between being bored with the
easily predicted actions of those left in the house and
wondering when “Expect the Unexpected” will happen.

Imagine if the houseguest was secretly offered the Exit Deal after they opened a lockerbox… and they had to leave on the spot! Then… the houseguests would eventually realize someone was missing and start looking…. Paranoia sets in… Ha Ha… and then the next morning – Ding Dong at the front door and in walks the jury member! That would shake up the game! I can see Kevin or another floater taking a deal like that! How fun would that be!

Xmas, Paul, Alex and Raven in the kitchen having a conversation about having sex in the house… it should never happen on TV (Alex)…that they have reputations to uphold and what about self respect and public image (Xmas)…he would never do that because he has parents watching and has respect for them (Paul). Each time Raven was in agreement with them saying ewww and no way and my face was like (shocked look) when Jess told her that she and Cory did it…omg how terrible. On and on it went with Raven parroting their every sentence. At the same time, interspersed were clips of her and Matt having sex that were time and date stamped – at least 10 of them!!! There was not a smidgen of guilt or any other expression on Raven’s face. Is she a sociopath?… psychotic?… She isn’t normal.

Did you notice how Raven was completely aware of the cameras because she kept looking up at the camera, stretching and posing as she was in the throes of passion! lol It was hilarious. One day Jessica was telling Cody that the two couples were ‘finishing’ the night before at the same time and she thought it was hilarious.

I am watching the live feeds. Kevin is outside with paul, mark and josh. Kevin is telling them exciting stories about when he used to play ball and how it’s his brothers birthday and talking about his brother and good memories……PAUL the Jackass shhhhhh’d Kevin so Kevin asked what?(like paul was hearing something important) Paul just said shhhh, this is a good song.- don’t know where he was hearing music but he was so rude that I am totally done with even trying to find a single redeeming quality in that SMURF.

Even though we didn’t become friends (daddy and i)til I was 49…all my life if I didn’t listen I pretended to and told my friends if they’re in the same room with him don’t ignore him. Fake listening if you want but sometimes he asks a question so listen or politely leave the room.
Even though I didn’t want to be around him, it hurt me to wonder if he noticed no one was listening.
You do not shhhhhh an older person especially in the middle of a sentence. It’s rude. I still don’t do it. NOW…I just wish he knew who in the heck I was.

Everyday I get a new laugh seeing how crowded that final 3 is going to be with Paul having deals with all and everyone is carrying stories back to Paul and it’s on the ” it’s our secret ” and Josh tells Xmas ” not to worry I’m taking you to F3 ” so the show is BORING everthing so predictable it’s all ” Whatever Paul wants Paul gets ” ends up being a team of 1 the other 2 just to carry him in on his THROWN

I have watched most seasons but never have I disliked someone as much as Paul. He is the Hitler of BB: make everyone else do his dirty work while he sits back and watches. Geez, I would love to cut that ugly beard off his face and shove it down his throat.
I know this is a game but never have I felt such disdain for a person. He is the Trump of BB for this season.

Great comments yall ¿ I was glad to hear some of yall got a eclipse to look at, all we got was so hot I was happy to be inside. Looked out the window at work, hardly a shade, just hot. Good grief, with the heat index bet it was 115 ewww.
Nothing bad happened at the hospital on our floor anyway. Usually when we have a full moon most people get their crazy on! So not drama, just got home a little late. I like to leave after my relief gets there, sometimes they run a bit late.
Nothing exciting on the feeds huh ? Julie said 5 more weeks of BB.
Just wanted to tell yall hey. Going read the Yahoo News.
