Big Brother 20: About Tonight, a.k.a. Tyler wore his hair down

Okay, so we just finished our first live eviction episode and it was a good one!

After spending most of the week as an apparent goner, Sam was saved tonight.  Level 6, as they had always planned to do, voted to evict Steve.   That, alone, would not have been enough to save Sam.  However, Tyler also managed to talk Kaitlyn into flipping and voting to evict Steve.  (Unfortunately, that also meant that he had to reveal to Level 6 and Kaitlyn that Sam won the power app.)  Before the vote, Tyler said that if he wore his hair down, that would be a signal for everyone in his alliance to vote for Steve.  He did wear his hair down and, by a vote of 7-6, Steve was evicted from the house.

Chris, Bayleigh, Haleigh, Angie, Scottie, and Faysal were all stunned!  In fact, Chris lost a good deal of his swagger when the results were announced.  You could tell from the expression on his face that he was trying to figure out who had flipped.  For all of his bragging, Chris didn’t seem to know quite how to handle a blindside.

After Steve was evicted, Kaitlyn clearly needed to win HoH.  After all, she doesn’t seem to be that good of a liar and it seems like only a matter of time until everyone knows that she’s the one who flipped.  Fortunately, for her, Kaitlyn managed to do just that.

That’s right — Kaitlyn is the 2nd HoH and what she’s going to do is anyone’s guess!

She could decided to stick with Tyler and Level 6 and nominate someone from Chris’s side of the house.  However, Kaitlyn doesn’t seem like she would really fit in with that group.

She could try to show that, despite flipping, she’s still loyal to Chris by targeting someone in Level 6.  Winston and Brett would seem to be the obvious targets, in that case.

Or, she could continue to stalk Faysal by nominating Haleigh and trying to get her number one romantic rival out of the house.

What will she do?  We’ll find out over the upcoming week!
