Big Brother 20: Lazy Tuesday

Hi y’all!

So, earlier today, we had some very brief excitement in the Big Brother House.  This morning, around 10:50 Big Brother Time, the houseguests were in the backyard when they heard a few people yelling something at them from the other side of the fence.  The feeds immediately went down and, when they returned, the houseguests were on lockdown inside of the house.

From what I’ve read on twitter, it would appear that a few Hive fans managed to get past security and were trying to yell to the houseguests that they shouldn’t trust JC.  This seems to happen every season and it hardly ever works.  It doesn’t appear that any of the current houseguests understood what was being yelled.

(I miss the days when people would fly banner planes over the house.  To me, that seems a lot more effective than trying to yell things over the fence.)

Otherwise, it’s been a pretty lazy day in the house.  Faysal stayed in bed for most of the afternoon.  Scottie has asked Haleigh if he could talk to her later but otherwise, he’s spent most of today talking sports in the back yard.  He knows he’s getting voted out on Thursday and, as he told Haleigh yesterday, his main plan right now is to hope that there’s a jury battleback.

Brett has told Angela that he’s feeling paranoid about the possibility of there being a battleback.  He told her that they both probably needed to stop being so mean in their goodbye messages because occasionally a juror is allowed to return to the house.  Angela replied that her goodbye message to Bayleigh wasn’t mean and, in her opinion, she wasn’t that mean to Rockstar.  Brett replied that all of his goodbye messages have been extremely mean.

(For the record, I doubt there’s going to be a battleback, specifically because Julie didn’t tell either Bayleigh or Rockstar that they would get a chance to reenter the house.)

As for what’s going to happen after Scottie’s gone, Faysal and Haleigh seem to think that they have an alliance going with Tyler and Angela.  (Faysal has also said that he thinks Thursday is going to be a double eviction.  It’s not but presumably, there should be one coming up sometime soon.)  Angela has told Tyler that she wants Sam to go next.  Her plan is to nominate both Sam and Haleigh for eviction, with Sam as the target.

(Tyler told Angela that he’s okay with that but whether or not that’s true is anyone’s guess.)

Speaking of Sam, she has decided that she is going to quit smoking this week.  She says that, tomorrow, she’s going to give production all of her cigarettes and they’re going to give her the patch.  Personally, I think that’s a huge mistake on her part.  Stop smoking in the jury house, Sam.  Seriously, the last thing that Sam needs right now is a reason to go even more crazy inside the house.
