Big Brother 20: The Further Adventures Of The Alliance That Couldn’t Shoot Straight

Well, it’s yet another day in the Big Brother House which means that the Hive has once again managed to grab defeat from the jaws of victory.

As we all know, Bayleigh was evicted last night but Haleigh won HoH.  You would think that would be good news for the Hive and, at first, it was.  From the start, Haleigh’s target was Tyler.  Unfortunately, Haleigh took Rockstar’s advice, which was to attempt to backdoor Tyler by nominated two pawns.  So, earlier today, Haleigh nominated Angela and Kaycee for eviction.  Her plan, of course, is to ultimately use the veto to take one of them off the block and replace her with Tyler.

However, what Haleigh doesn’t know is that Tyler has the cloud power app.  Tyler correctly figured out that Haleigh would try to backdoor him so he didn’t use his his power before the nomination ceremony.  Instead, he kept it so he could use it before the veto ceremony.  So, regardless of what happens, Tyler is going to be safe this week.

However, it now appears that Haleigh won’t just fail to get Tyler out of the house but Rockstar could very well end up going to jury at the end of Haleigh’s reign as HoH.  After Haleigh announced her nominations, the houseguests took part in the second hacker comp.  The winner of the hacker comp would get the same powers that the hacker got last week: the power to take someone off the block and name a replacement, the power to pick one player for the veto, and the power to cancel someone’s vote on Thursday.

Because of how closely divided the numbers are in the house, it was essential for Haleigh’s plan that someone from the Hive win the hacker comp.

So, of course, Level 6’s Kaycee won.  Kaycee has been trying to pretend like she didn’t win but, apparently, she jumped up and down when she learned she was this week’s hacker and Haleigh heard her.  So, Haleigh knows exactly who the hacker is.

Anyway, Kaycee used her hacker power to take herself off of the block.  She nominated Rockstar in her place.

Here’s where things get interesting.  We have the veto comp tomorrow.  It’s going to be the OTEV comp.  Rockstar has always struggled in comps and it’s reasonable to think that she will not win the veto tomorrow.  So, let’s say that someone from Level 6 wins the veto and the noms stay the same or, at the very least, Rockstar stays on the block.  On Thursday, with Haleigh as HoH, Rockstar as nominee, and Kaycee canceling one person’s vote, that would basically leave the Hive with only one vote.  So, even though she’s HoH this week, Haleigh very well could lose one of her closest allies in the house at the end of this week.

Needless to say, Haleigh’s not particularly happy about this turn of events.  She’s been confiding in Brett, little realizing that Brett is a member of Level 6.  How has Haleigh not figured this out?

So, this should be an interesting week.  It’ll be interesting to see what happens with that veto tomorrow!
