Big Brother Over The Top: Just A Few Quick Updates

Hi, everyone!

I just wanted to post a few quick updates. Once again, I have to say thank you to our commenters, who are all doing a good job of keeping everyone updated while I’m on vacation! Y’all are the best!

Okay, America’s Care Package went to Kryssie. I believe this means that Kryssie cannot win another care package. She’s really thrilled to have won this one, though, from what I’ve read on twitter, it appears that Jason’s fans decided to give her this care package because they felt that 1) Kryssie would use it to protect Jason and 2) they want Jason to be eligible for a later care package. Jason’s fans are thinking strategically!

The care package gave Kryssie the power to declare one houseguest to be safe for the week. To no one’s surprise, she selected Jason. Danielle begged Kryssie to use it on her because she is convinced that she and Shane are going to be nominated this week.

And Danielle’s right! When last I checked, Alex was planning on nominating Danielle and Shane, with Justin as a renom in case the veto was used. However, things are pretty tense with Justin right now. Justin hates Monte and both Danielle and Kryssie have been going out of their way to stoke that hatred, to the extent that Justin and Monte even had a little shouting match earlier today.

(Justin feels that Monte is a racist. Monte feels that Justin is a perv. Monte earlier made a joke about Justin stealing his clothes and that joke got back to Justin. Justin and Monte’s fight ended with the two of them making up but I doubt it’s going to last.)

Along with giving Kryssie the care package, America also selected the Have Nots for the week. Monte, Morgan, and Scott received the majority of votes. Monte and Morgan handled it well. Scott went into one of the bedrooms and started sobbing.

Finally, we had the first part of the Safety Ceremony tonight. Since Jason was already safe, Alex only had to pick four more players. She conferred safety on: Kryssie, Whitney, Neely, and Morgan. The second part of the ceremony will be tomorrow and I imagine that Shane and Danielle will be nominated.

Lisa … you would be right! That’s exactly what I expect Alex to do. I have a feeling Jason’s Mafia ill vote Monte as third on the block and if so he will probably go home.

I really don’t care if Monte goes home because he is such a dumb turd and doesn’t know when to shut up, however, it will really affect the game of Alex, Whitney and Morgan. Those three girls are really playing the game the best. They are nice girls, they do not talk crap about the other house guests like Jason, Danielle, Shane and Kryssie. Those four are the ‘mean girls’ this year. They are constantly talking about everyone else in a mean, vicious way and blaming everything on other people. Totally uncalled for.

America has way to much influence this season and BB needs to cut back on this. It’s unfair to everyone that does not have an army (like Jason who has BB nation , i.e. Davonne) getting the fans riled up for them.

So funny, Whitney says she has never in her life farted! They are all teasing her about it. Pretty funny. Just hearing her tell about it in her country accent is hilarious.

Nothing going on in the BB house that interests me. When I first checked in, all four cameras were at the same place! Then camera four showed the backyard. I can’t stand Krissie! She is worse than Paul in BB18. Her language is ridiculous!

Hi Lisa!! Thanks for updates. My info the last few days has been coming mostly from here or Joker. Seems when I do try to peek in they are just standing around in the kitchen and talking BS all at once. I just don’t seem to have the desire to listen to this group. They all sort of get on my nerves.

It feels odd in there this season and it must be because of the whole JasonNation thing. BB always knows what they are doing and who they are targeting or helping beforehand. SO they must have known how this was going to play out! The point of BB is supposed to be for strangers to be isolated together and then to see how human nature takes over. How is isolation possible if America is involved this deeply?? They not only know we are watching, they know we are judging and can actually GET to them!!! And then there is Jasons whole Social Media Mob. It’s totally influencing what this game is becoming.

I think it’ going to be interesting/weird too to see them spend Halloween and Thanksgiving in the house. I wonder if they get to dress up in costumes?? Or if they are going to give them a turkey dinner???lol Turkey shaped slop maybe??? 😉

Also Lisa……I haven’t been getting the email for this blog or your FB notificaion. I was getting both. I just wondered if there was a recent hiccup or anything. Maybe I got bumped for not posting much…;) Thanks for checking. 🙂

Your demeaning words about Monte being a “dumb turd who doesn’t know when to shutup are very offensive, and totally uncalled for! Monte is good guy, with high moral standards, and a disciplined and focused life, which obviously people like YOU seem to abhor? Why do you have to say such demeaning things about someone that you have never even met, and are totally unqualified to judge, unless you know him personally, which obviously you don’t! Why do people have to so blatantly “hate-on” people just because they don’t think/act exactly the way YOU do?!? IMO YOU are the “dumb turd” that doesn’t know WHEN to SHUTUP! Sorry! I USUALLY like your assessments on here, but this time you’ve gone OTT!

David so sorry I offended your brother or best friend. I’ll try to resist calling him a dumb turd again. I like Monte but you must admit he doesn’t know when he would be better off to shut up. He tells way too much information to Shane and other people and does not even realize what he is doing. I have said many times that I think he is a very nice guy and knows how to treat people with respect. So put on your big girl panties and get over it!

I haven’t watched much (trying to prepare for my move to my new house), but when I have, it’s been boring, and I don’t watch for long. So glad I can keep up here.

I wish BB would just not send a former player into the house at all. It’s just not fair. They had their chance. Just let a whole new set of people play. It’s more interesting.

Marla Jo – I agree, I think this season would have been much better without a vet. I also agree that America has way too much power and I think America is picking the havenots so production saves money on comps. I feel this season’s production budget is nonexistent.

Thanks Lisa for the update. Sounds like America is influencing this experiment more than they anticipated. I’m mostly just posting to see if I will get any followup comments. Any chance that it’s fixed?

Jason’s huge fan base and pushed it ahead. Maybe they didn’t
anticipate less of the older crowd purchasing the LFs, but they
knew Jason came in with a huge advantage that could get out
of hand. So what did they do? They came up with these care
packages that are way OTT. Anyone getting the one where 3
eviction votes can be changed could change the entire game or
end the game for one complete side of the house. Any guesses
as to whom will get the care package for that one?
Then they gave Am. an eviction vote, choice of the HNs, and
are even able to put one person OTB. If one person has a huge
America’s vote…..guess who comes up winning?
I wish I had known Jason had this huge fan base with (from what
I’ve gathered from other posts) has Davonne leading them all.
If I had I would not have purchased LFs nor voted for Jason to
come back. Jozea was someone I really didn’t like, but would
have preferred him to the game being so one sided.

I think it’s just former BB friends of Jason’s leading the charge which is so unfair. I actually liked this cast in the beginning until the real personalities of Danielle, Kryssie came out. We already knew that Jason is a ‘mean girl’ and when they teamed together it has become unpleasant to watch. Have a good Sunday!💗

Lisa Marie – thanks for the repost of my comment and unlocking it from moderation, as well and the personal email you sent. I figured I goofed it up and it’s no big deal, but it was really nice of you to go out of your way on vacation to straighten it out. Just one of the reasons you’re the best in the blogging business! 😀

I haven’t been watching the feeds much at all this weekend and today is football and the next Presidential Debate (that should be nuts). Thanks to the blog for keeping me up on what’s going on.

Margie – thanks for posting what the care packages are in the last blog. Is there an explanation of the powers yet? Some are self explanatory, but others I’m not quite sure what they are. Let me know what you can find. I’m assuming it’s on the CBS site and I don’t have access to that. Maybe I can do some Google-fu and dig it up.

I agree with the general conception that this season’s show is rigged
to the hilt. Jason’s fan base is calling all the shots and making it
so unfair to everyone else in the house unless you are close to Jason.
Why can’t we have a BB where everyone comes in equal and prod.
stays out of the outcomes? It has become a Jason’s BB house.

Where do I go to find out the coming weeks schedule for what will
happen when?

Also, this season is drawing everything out too long. It’s becoming
increasing boring to me. You have to wait for anything to happen
and even the game talk after awhile gets boring as it’s a repeat over
and over of strategy and in the end all the strategy in the world
doesn’t matter, because Jason’s fans are totally controlling the game.

OK, now going back to the last page, I agree….America is pretty drunk with power this season! Like Peter Parker/AKA Spiderman’s Uncle Ben said, “with great power comes great responsibility”. America is all about handing out “justice” as they see fit and are loving every minute of it. I do think it’s a bit much, but I think the powers that be for BB really tapped into something here. It makes me think they’ll probably do another online season again like this due to all the online traffic/discussion and participation with the game. I know it comes down to money, but if the comments online translate to viewership, they should be making quite a profit.

I think BB kinda built this perfect storm. With all the issues viewers have had in the past, now they have so much control, they’re kinda going all “Lord of the Flies” on the HG’s. All the years of frustration with casting recruits, production tampering, same games year after year, and all the other things we all complain about, now America has a REAL SAY in the game….and they’re taking advantage of it. “Oh, you cast a power hungry guy (Monte) like Paulie again? Guess what, he’s a Have Not and we’re putting him on the block next week”.

Seeing some discussion about the game on Twitter/Facebook/Blogs/etc, it kinda reminds me of arguments I see from my friends on facebook about the Presidential Election! The parallels are actually kinda stunning/fascinating to me.

I’m not for or against it, just noting what I see. I’m sure if I could vote, I might get swept up in that stuff too. And I don’t disagree with some of the things America is doing. I guess my only issue is the deck is stacked against the HG’s big time! Not only do you have to work well with all the HG’s to stay off the block, you gotta be likeable to America to keep from being a Nom, Have Not or to get a Care Package to help you. That’s juggling a lot of balls in the air!

I think it’s a bit unfair for the HG’s but hey, they signed up for it. They should know they’re filmed 24/7 and need to mind their P’s and Q’s because we’ll see it all. People dissecting every little thing. Posting what you said, videos of how you act, commenting on that, and voting for or against you based on that.

The only difference is, America can punish them for it now.

nice day here in GRANBURY tx – watching the cowboys eat up the bengals-
my opinion on the game being rigged because of bringing back jason – i dont think cornbread went home because of jason – it was his mouth – i dont think alex putting up shane and dani is because of jason – and i dont think monte going up from america is on jason either.

i know, i know – the care package looks rigged to save jason – but ultimately make him the game winner? i dont think so – he is and always will be a main target. his mouth also will be his ending.

ok, before yall fire back – lemme go get a helmet and bullet proof vest!

Macy. I was looking in here for clues as to who you guys were thinking about voting for. I’m trying to stay in touch and in the know but since I’m not watching as much as usual, I feel like there are subtleties that I’m not aware of.
I did watch awhile today but it was mostly Alex and her side since the others in the BY were too annoying to listen to. lol so I guess I know who I DONT like!!! 😉
I’m willing to vote Krissy if you guys all are!! Actually I may either way!! Lol

Macy … That’s exactly what I did! I tried early yesterday morning to find out here on the blog who everyone was voting for but no one ever responded. So I just went with the person I like the least! Now we all need to be sure and cast our vote to evict Kryssie. She is so sure that America loves her and wants to protect her. She has said that repeatedly. She told Alex that she better not nominate her because America wouldn’t like it! lol
