BB19 — A Night of Blindsides

Hi, y’all!

So, tonight was all about blindsides.

How many blindsides?

Let’s count them down.

The Houseguests were blind-sided when Julie announced that tonight was going to be a double eviction. Christmas and Paul looked extremely shocked and more than a little mad. All this week, Paul has been assuring everyone that there was no way that they would have another double eviction. In fact, he didn’t even plan for the possibility of there being a double eviction. The new caught him off guard and it was kind of fun to see him suddenly start to squirm.
Jason was blind-sided by the vote. Even though I thought that Josh was going to let Jason know right before the vote, it’s apparent that he didn’t. When the vote came back 2-2 and Christmas broke the tie by sending Jason home, you could tell that Jason was furious. He stormed out of the house without even saying goodbye.
Paul attempted to continue Jason’s blindside by having a fake fight with Josh. During this fight, I was blindsided by just what a terrible actor Paul actually is. When Paul started calling Josh “bro,” I nearly fell off the couch laughing.
Jason was blind-sided a second time when he was shown the goodbye messages. Josh, in his goodbye message, told Jason about his alliance with Christmas and Paul and also told Jason that Paul was the one who arranged for him to be voted out. The Big Brother editors cleverly followed Josh’s tearful confession with Paul’s incredibly fake and insincere goodbye message. Jason had murder in his eyes as he watched it.
Paul, though he doesn’t realize it, has now been blind-sided in that he now has blood on his hands. Jason knows what Paul did and soon, he’ll be telling everyone in the jury house about what Paul did. When Alex gets voted out, Jason will tell her what Paul did. Paul’s goal of getting the jury to love him was basically destroyed by Josh’s goodbye message.
The rest of the house was blindsided when Alex won HoH. She said she was winning HoH for Jason but, as soon as she won, Paul ran over, hugged her, and started whispering in her ear.
I was blindsided when Alex nominated Raven and Kevin for eviction, despite the fact that Christmas and Josh were the ones who voted out Jason. Alex, obviously, still thinks Paul is on her side and, when he said to nominate Raven and Kevin, she did it.
Josh won veto and, since he’s been saying that he was going to take a shot at Paul as soon as he got a chance, I thought that Paul was about to be blindsided. However, Josh blindsided the studio audience by announcing that he would not use the veto. The studio audience groaned and I hope they heard the reaction in the Big Brother house.
Both Alex and Raven were then blind-sided when, by a 2-1 vote, Raven was evicted from the house. Paul and Christmas voted for Raven. Josh voted for Kevin. I assume Paul is going to try to convince Alex that he’s the one who voted to evict Kevin. Raven was pretty upset over being evicted. When Christmas tried to apologize, Raven sobbed, “You’re not sorry, you’re not!”
Raven, who has spent the entire week talking about how she’s on the verge of death, did a cartwheel as soon as she left the house and was then further blind-sided when the audience treated her with hostility. When she commented that Kevin didn’t have much going on in his head, the audience booed and caught her off guard.
When Julie asked Raven why she didn’t play the game, Raven said that she did play the game and bragged about how closely she worked with Paul, therefore blindsiding us with her inability to understand what just happened to her.

All in all, it was a pretty emotional episode. Josh would not stop crying. Christmas cried. Paul pretended to be upset but he’s not a very good actor and he really tried too hard. (That said, he did seem strangely shaken during the veto ceremony, as if he wasn’t sure that Josh was going to do what Paul told him to do.) Alex was mad. Raven was mad. Jason was furious and looked like he was about to kill someone.

The final note of the evening: In winter, CBS will be showing Celebrity Big Brother. Hopefully, our celebrity houseguests will not include Frankie Grande.

We’re now waiting to learn who the new HoH is!

Sandraftsm September 8, 2017 at 5:37 am: Oh good lord, I hadn’t even thought about Frankie being on there. Surely he’s not considered a celebrity. Nice report on the nights festivities. I felt sad for Jason being sent out that way until he left the way he did. Understandly he was upset but he should’ve left with more class I thought, like Mark. I know Mark wasn’t blindsided and everyone has the right to be upset over losing. It just doesn’t give you the right to act like a horses patoot. I was tickled to see Alex get blindsided both times last night. To me, with her arrogance of being positive she has the game in the bag it was a little comeuppance. Karma if you will. Although tonight on BBAD she was still talking about what she was going to do with the money. She obviously wasn’t talking about her stipend. Has she not a clue at all that she’s next? What will it take for her to get one? l think even going out the door she still won’t get it. She also didn’t seem very upset that Jason was gone. Ride or die huh? Yeah. Paul still seems to have Josh in his back pocket unless he totally blindsides us all and puts Paul up. Anyway I think I’m one of the few to read this blog that think Paul deserves this win. I don’t like his methods but they were very effective and you can’t blame him that the other guests did what he told them. Free will and all. I’m still voting for Kevin to win AFH. He was the most likeable to me. Can’t wait for the celebrity cast and I hope they act less like divas than this cast did. Lisa I’ve been around for awhile reading your blog. I put in a word very seldom but I really enjoy reading you. Thanks so much for giving us great reports. To the rest of the bloggers on here thatve been here awhile I enjoy reading all of you too. I just usually don’t have much to say because ya’ll all do it so well.

Great summary Lisa!! I haven’t been so worked up over BB all summer!!! I was crying that Jason was betrayed, Roy g fur Josh feeling so bad about his part in all of it and knowing for sure now that he has been working with the Devil! Cheers to him tho for at least ratting Paul , Christmas and even himself out to Jason. He needed to get that off his chest. And he felt he used it to Jason. But WHY didn’t he take a shot at Paul?? These idiots still think they have to keep nosing with him to make it to the end!!! Wth is wrong with everyone? Get him OUT and you can take each other !! IF they go with Paul, they’ll lose. Or would have. After tonight and the anger and info he is taking to jury, prolly not do

I loved when Jason told Julie he wanted just five more minutes in the house! He’s a good ole boy and wanted to rumble right then and there! lol I am really going to miss him in the house!!😕
Kevin kept changing into his suit he was so sure he was going. He just looked like he was in a total daze!!
Alex and Josh both saw what Paul was doing. Both are angry and hurt and feel
Betrayed. I really wish they would work together now ALtho Alex hates Kevin so they wouldn’t have a third.
I’m just rambling out loud here. So

Tendr. I just watched Jason’s exit interview and he finally figured out it was Paul afterthinking hard about it. Really??!! Good lord. If he just figured that out he deserves to be gone!! He said he hopes Christmas wins now so that everyone will get beaten by a one legged girl!! He’s not really going to stay in touch with anyone except maybe Kevin. And he’s mad at Alex because he thinks she played him with Paul !!

I hadn’t watched any of the other interviews and I didn’t realize Jeff wouldn’t be there. I knew he moved but I guess I thot he’d come back for BB. But I’m sure there were tons of ex-HGS who would have been thrilled to have the job. Just odd watching him sitting like he’s in the DR.

Well, that was a big waste of opportunities!😕
I wanted Raven or Kevin to win the Veto! Josh blew his chance of making a good move! What’s wrong with these people? They are all brain dead for trusting the 🐍! I was so hoping Alex would do SOMETHING!!!!! How can they ALL be so dumb to Paul’s manipulations! Argggg! So FRUSTRATING!!!😕😕😕😕😕

Josh had no chance to make a big move. If he takes Kevin or Raven down then Christmas goes up. Alex wouldn’t put Paul up anyway. Plus Christmas was the tie breaker to send Jason home.

Jolee. I totally agree!! But I heard that Kevin and Paul both threw the Veto. I KNEW he was!! He was doing way too bad! It’s frigin amazing that with only 4 other people in the house that Paul has STILL got each one of them thinking he’s their ride or die. 😳

I wonder if everyone wants to go to the end with Paul .1 because he’s carrying them there but .2 because they all think they can beat Paul because of last year? I felt the same way Jolee! They were all so dumbstruck! I truly think they are all (subconsciously maybe?) afraid to make a move without Paul there! It think he’s brainwashed them all to believe they cannot exist in that house without HIM! They seem willing to lose the game, as long as Paul is there to hold their hands. At this point, I do not expect ANY ONE OF THEM to turn on Paul!

Big big disappointment tonight. I am so disgusted with big brother. Can’t wait till the 20th for it to end. At this point we’ve invested so much time that we can’t just not watch. It’s like watching a train wreck. You have to look but you don’t want to see the people that get hurt. 🚂 👀 😱

Yup it’s going to be a big train wreck. Kinda like when Vanessa got evicted at 3. I waited all summer for that one move. It’s the only thing that made that season worth it.

I am at least relieved that Clown Face Raven is GONE! OMG… I couldn’t take any more of her! I think Kevin is probably in shock, but he better start getting serious about his game play. Poor guy is going to be stuck in the same bedroom as vicious Alex. She will blame Kevin for everything even though he had nothing to do with anything (as he always says… LOL)

At least the old art of blindsiding the outgoing houseguest was back in play tonight!

So much was planned tonight to seem like nothing was scripted.
Paul planned for his vote to be with Alex’s for the blindside to
Jason. His bonus was seeing Jason blame Alex, too. I don’t believe he counted on that happening, but was glad it worked in his favor.
He immediately got Alex off to the side after Jason’s eviction and had her all to himself. He even jumped Josh and left him
with the blame hanging around his neck, just as Josh feared he
would. Josh took it, just as Paul knew he would, and didn’t yell
back “it was Paul’s idea”.
X-mas, the idiot coward, tried to fake tears as she evicted Jason
and had nothing to say as everything went down as Paul wanted
it.
After the HOH comp, Alex was in shock, but still closer to
Paul because he voted with her to keep Jason and was the only
one in her ear afterward. I don’t think she’d had time to really
compute the extent and fine print of what really went down.
I don’t think X-mas has had time or is capable of figuring out
what really happened tonight and the damage done to her
personally. You could tell Josh was mad at her for not seeing
what he saw and not listening to him. But the hardest part was
him having to live with what he did to a good friend. Outside
of X-mas, Jason was really his best friend in the house. Jason
tried to help him for weeks.
Alex was shellshocked that she didn’t have a chance to explain
to Jason her innocence in what went down, but he wasn’t
about to listen to her in any event. Her words of how stupid he
was to not trust Paul and how many timse she slugged him when
he worried about it were sizzling in his mind right after the
blindside.But the look on his face as he heard Josh’s message
told the whole story.
Putting Kevin and Raven up were Paul moves to the “T”. I was
surprised by that, even though I knew he’d had the chance
to do more brainwashing with her. But she looked upset when
Josh didn’t use the veto. Why, I’m not sure. Perhaps the truth
was beginning to sink in. I think she might have held out hope she would be able to BD X-mas. I think the truth of how really close X-mas and Josh are finally hit her like a sledge hammer. If she’d had time, ( IMO) she would have done differently with her noms. She has no choice now but to cling to Paul even tighter.
She has no one else.
The one she’s treated like a leper and been so mean to (Kevin)
is the one she should have had a deal with and now it’s too
late. She blew that bridge up long ago.
I thought Kevin seemed way too calm and accepting during it
all to not have known what was going down. At least more than he was pretending to know.
I thought Jason’s interview with Julie was one of the most
entertaining of the season. By showing Josh’s goodby message
made me think even production isn’t liking the way Paul is
doing things.
One thing’s for sure. It wasn’t boring. All he needed to make
it better was a walk across the coffee table to shock those
sitting on their hands even more and to sink home the zinger…
Cody and I have a lot to talk about.

I can’t wait for Alex to get evicted probably next week. I’m kinda tickled Kevin is still in there lol. I bet he is like…..dang it have invisible powers.lol wouldn’t be tooooo funny if he was the 1 to put Paul on the block and send him home. He always trusted Alex for some reason so he might put Paul up with Josh who knows.

Cathy, did you notice how Kevin and Paul were the only ones
who actually stopped, looked around, and then went back for
other balls? It was a timed contest and no one should have taken
the time to pause and look around. I don’t know when Paul
got to Kevin, but I believe he did.

Wow… I’m reading twitter posts about what Jason is saying in his exit interview. He blames Alex as much as he does Paul!
~Jason- There is nothing that goes on in that house that those two (Alex/Paul) don’t know about.
~Jason- Paul and Alex definitely had a hand in what happened tonight. They can both…never mind.
~Jason- He (Kevin) kept subtly telling me since he went up that he thought I was going to go home. I kind of thought it was funny.
~Jason- “Who will you keep in contact with after this season ends?”. Probably Kevin, Paul…and that’s it. Kevin and Paul .

WHY does he even consider being a friend of Paul’s?? And he can kiss his friendship with Kevin goodbye! Jason is going to be blindsided yet again when he gets out and sees what trouble he is in!

Jason knows that nothing Paul did in the game was personal. It was game only. Alex was supposed to be his ride or die from the jump. That he took personally I think.

She was SO dismissive of Jason’s point of view and laughed at him. .. But I was surprised that it sunk in so quickly about Alex. You could see his confusion sitting there in that chair listening to the vote being read.

it’s a game. It was more like summer camp for them. Maybe
he won’t ever blame Paul for what he did, but I think once it
all sinks in, he’ll blame Paul for the way he did it. I think he
might get stuck on them not telling him before the votes were
counted that he was going home. He said he was glad he’d
packed everything to help from letting Kevin know he was the
real target. But I noticed Alex as wearing one of his WhistleNut
shirts, so I’m not sure how accurate his packing really was.LOL
Either way, don’t you wish you could be a fly on the wall and
hear all the conversations that will take place in the jury house!!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Lisa, but I read somewhere that Frankie Grande IS going to be on the Celebrity BB. Also Chad Johnson from the Bachelorette and then a bunch of “celebrities” I never heard of. After this disgusting season, I doubt I’ll watch. Couldn’t stomach Frankie and Paul that close together. I haven’t been posting this season, but I’ve faitfully “tuned in” to this blog. I like it much better than the actual show. I hope anyone in Irma’s way stays safe. I’m in the Sarasota/Bradenton area and we’re just waiting to see which direction it’s headed. Gonna be bad no matter which way, I’m afraid. You all are great commentors. I’ve loved reading you this season. Thanks for keeping those of us who only watch the shows…the cleaned up edited version…in the know.

Maxie. I just tried and couldn’t find the entire cast. But if that quick blur we saw before the announcement was it, I saw Frankie too. And Caleb for sure !
I just read that is it to go against the Winter Olympics as is an all star Bachelor. Looks like I’ll be recording a lot!! And I LOVE the Winter Olympics so I’m almost mad all this will be going on! They’re going to have all the same BBADS and LFS as a regular season too. I really wish they’d just wait and save it for next summer tho. I think I’ll need s break!! 😏

This has really been the Season of Stupid!!! I can’t believe that Alex is STILL trusting Paul. I can’t wait for her to hear what Jason heard from Josh. Soooo glad Josh threw Paul under the bus. However, I don’t think he meant to. I think he was just so upset at what he was doing, he just wanted Jason to know how he felt about him. I agree with Tndr, I would so much rather see the fish win. But at this point, I’ll take Josh. I’m not crazy about him, but he at least has a heart. And he hasn’t gone out of his way to lie and play a dirty game. Although this is a game where you really do have to lie – there’s the game play and there’s the dirty play. The majority of the hg’s have played dirty. I can’t stand Paul, Alex & Christmas. They are mean & vile people. I would love to see Josh actually win the comps to go thru to the final 2. I would rather see Xmas take $50 grand than Paul take ANYTHING!!! Although if I had my druthers, it would be Josh & Kevin – but Kevin’s gone at 4. But if Paul does get to pick F2, I hope he picks Josh just to stick it to Xmas for being so stupid and so mean, especially to Josh & talking so viciously about Kevin.

I can’t believe that Alex is so so blind!! It shouldn’t take a Rocket Scientist to figure out that Paul screwed her over big time! But to me, she’s getting everything she deserves. Anyone who puts their destiny/game in someone else’s hands, deserves it when they lose. KARMA’s a bitch as well. She’s going to be sitting next to Kevin when they send her home!! Hopefully she’ll watch some of this season and see what a mean ass person she was and how obsessed she was with hating Kevin for no reason. She was so obsessed with getting him out, she didn’t even think about Xmas taking out Josh – or getting out Kevin meant more at that point, not sure which. But all Paul has to do is whisper sweet nothings and she’s starry eyed again.

My biggest wish – Paul does not make it to Final 2. My next biggest wish – if he does, I hope he loses by ONE vote – again!!!!

Good show tonight. It really surprised me that Jason was so angry talking to Julie. He really took it very personal.

Lisa don’t you think even with Josh ratting Paul out tonight that if Paul makes it to F2 and I think he will, that the jury will still vote for him? I think that if they vote strictly out of gameplay and not emotion that Paul will win over Xmas or Josh. But I’m wondering now if Paul intends on taking kevin to F2. I think that might be his downfall if he does. I feel Xmas would probably be his best bet on a sure thing. He’s got good arguments I think to win if he puts them the right way in his speech. I think he needs to be careful how he words it though or they’ll turn into a hostile jury instead of one that votes on playing the game the best.

I don’t think people would vote for X-mas against Paul. The one footed or one-legged girl just won’t wash. She kept others from
being able to play by being in the house, and then at the last
minute used a doctor’s excuse for not being able to play in vetos. I say they should have just kept her name out of the veto box, since she was so limited in what she could do physically. But then I didn’t believe she should have been allowed to stay in the first place.
Josh and Kevin don’t have but 2 wins for Josh and none for
Kevin. I think in the end they will all pretty much give it to
Paul, not because they want to or because they liked the way
he played the game, but because he was essentially the only
player in the house. He has honed his ability to talk to these
minions in ways they all believe, even when it looks like you
would have to be brain dead to believe him, they always do.
Cody is the only one who never believed a word out of Paul’s
mouth, and if allowed to play by regular game rules, would have
made this season a great deal more palatable. But it didn’t work
out that way. I still think he will vote for Paul, because he
believes in the odds Paul conquored to get to the F2, even
though he had the dumbest hgs in the history to win against.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think there has ever been a season
when there were so many comps thrown. There were so few actual winners who deserved the win. Even Paul was helped time and time again.

Like other BB fans never so upset before as I was after the double eviction show. When in the history of all BB did someone win HOH right after her number 1 alliance is not only voted out, but voted out by the HOH in a tie vote and the player who lost their partner NOT put up the person ( Christmas) responsible? I think Josh didn’t use the veto because he thought Alex might have had a clue and put up Christmas as we know she should have. Josh should have tried to make deal with Alex to align her with Christmas and Josh. All season has been scripted to make sure Paul wins. I hope the celebrity show is not like other reality shows with has been celebrities looking for work.

It will be celebrities (not past BB hgs) if they follow the model of the one in England. Theirs has been mostly celebrities from England, of course, but also American celebrities such as Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Pamela Anderson, Gary Busey, Perez Hilton, etc. Frankie Grande was on the England version as well. It is to take place during winter so the outside activities will have to be different.

would throw out all of them and get new ones….I might start

to be willing to give up a large percentage of your life for it, and
end up running the risk of physically injuring yourself. I don’t think the really well-known stars are willing to do this.

I don’t think I will watch if Frankie is on. Just seeing him in the trailer turned my stomach.

Last night was interesting to say the least. I understand why Alex put up Kevin because she doesn’t like him but why in the world did she not put up Christmas who just voted your ride or die out in front of everyone. That was a serious mistake. It sounds like Jason still doesn’t understand that Paul was NOT on his side.

Hang in there Sandraftsm…I’m new here this year too and I understand. Takes a bit to join the conversations but it gets better with time. I have learned that there are many posters here that have developed friendships over the years and they have a lot of personal conversations. They all seem to be nice people and as you get to know them a little better through their postings you will begin to feel more included.
Personally I want anyone but Paul to win although I do believe he has played a winning game. Who do you favor?

The meanness and bullying of one houseguest at a time bothers me. If I favored anyone it would probably be kevin only because he’s my age. But poor guy is like a duck out of water with these guys. Plus he couldn’t win a comp even if it was shooting fish in a barrel. However, I think because I haven’t been able to like them personally I’ve been able to separate the personal things they do from gameplay. I know it’s not the popular thing to say but I think out of the houseguest left I’d say Paul should win. No one has ever been able to sway the house week after week to do what they want. If you can separate how he’s doing it it’s actually quite fascinating to watch. I also think if the jury isn’t a hostile one that they’ll pick him to win over everyone else that’s left. I’m hoping for a great cast for the celebrity edition but CBS isn’t off to a great start if they have Frankie on imo.

That is what Paul is doing but Derrick did it in a kinder way..no bullying, shunning, etc. The way Paul has been so mean in plotting his game-I am unable to separate the personal from the game. If I had to be on the end of Paul and his minions’ wrath I believe I would have had to self evict. Watching the feeds and visiting BB sites shows/tells us so much more about the hatefullness orchestrated by Paul then the CBS edit that is shown to us 3 times a week. I know Paul has played a winning game but I don’t want him to be rewarded for the ugly way he has played.

I usually am behind and have a big bunch of posts to read through to answer individually. I am still a good bit of posts behind, and this my be addressed later in the queue. As Jason stormed out after eviction, Paul caught the door and tried to stick his head through the gap as he yelled, “It wasn’t me!” Is he really thinking the people in jury won’t talk together or that he’s convinced them to continue to think, “We love Paul. He never got any blood on his hands.” Does he think he can continue to manipulate long distance? I am looking forward to the final show in the hopes that many, if not all, the jury lambast him as they’ve figured him out. I’ll be ready with popcorn and booze just in case!

Like Dancing with the Stars is more like Dancing with People Who Are Actually D List, Celebrities on BB won’t be Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts. They will be more like Celebrities In Small Isolated Circles. I thought about a CBB a couple of years ago, but I figured everyone would be tripping over their egos and resent being evicted so would be resistant to being a hg. Evidentially, the celebs are after more publicity, bad or good. At least the charities will benefit.

Finally (I hear you all cheering!) at the mention of Frankie Grande”s possibility of being on CBB, I popped a few antidepressants because I WILL NOT watch until he’s evicted so I’m glad past BB hgs won’t be considered celebs. Then I realized I don’t have to watch CBB. I can get all I need to know from Lisa and this blog so I don’t have to see that face or hear that voice.

Sandraftsm….. I thought I remembered you from last year! Just stick in there. Everyone loves having you and you opinion here. Last year I commented a lot but this year, not so much. Not because of the blog but because of the season this year! I just can’t seem to get into it like I normally do because I absolutely can’t stand this cast! Also, everyone on the blog seems to be saying exactly what I’m thinking so I don’t feel the need to post it again. So, don’t go away. I read everything and sometimes by the time I get to it it’s too late to comment on something that happened hours earlier. Hopefully I’ll enjoy the next season more! lol I won’t enjoy Celebrity BB though if Frankie is on it and I will bet my bottom dollar he will be. He gets on my very last nerve and I can’t bear to think of watching him again!

I too will not be watching the Celebrity version if Frankie is on it as I can’t stand him. Now that Josh is HOH maybe he will get some bal_s and align himself with Kevin and Alex and put up Paul and Xmas but I have my doubts that he will do anything except what Paul tells him to do. These people are so stupid. I will have to give Josh credit for spilling the beans on everyone but at this late date don’t know if it will help. Glad Raven is gone I just can’t stand her antics to get attention. I don’t think Alex really knows what all Paul is manipulating as she is not as smart as she thinks she is. Are they taking votes for the AFP now???

I think that BB did a disservice to the other house guestswhen they allowed and made way for Christmas to stay. It was totally unfair to others that worked so hard to have a place in BB.

I wondered at the time if they let Xmas stay because the houseguest were dropping like flies. That maybe it was because it would mess up the schedule of the game if they lost another player without them being evicted by the house. I’m probably wrong it just struck me at the time of being the only reason I could think of for BB to allow a player that was injured to continue.

So I don’t see how Cmas is healed enough to do the Comic Strip contest. I went back to You Tube to watch a past season and they have to climb a ladder to a platform – swing across to view the posters – drop quite a distance to a floor covered in cushion – walk around to place the cards – run back to climb the stairs – and do it all over again! Cmas is going to re-injure her foot if she does all that!

Last nights show infuriated me!!! Poor Josh – he had me tearing up. So glad in his goodbye msg he blew up Paul and xmas. Hope that sealed Pauls fate.

Jason and Cody are going to have a field day discussing how they were duuped by Paul. Mark too, for that matter.

Alex is so dumb – she is still riding on Pauls coat tails and words.

I have never been one to say ‘this is the worst season ever’ but I’m really struggling with this one.

Macy…my emotions have been all over the place this season…up, down, happy, sad, hopeful, defeated… and many more.

In the end…if Paul gets to F2, he will win. Last night Jess said she will vote for Paul. Cody said he will vote for Paul. It kills me to hear them say that!!! All were played by Paul, big time, and all will bow to the master in the end!!!

Thanks for being so welcoming Jeanne. Yes I’ve hovered mostly around this blog just once in a blue moon posting. I really enjoy this blog. Whereas in a lot of other blogs people can get just as rude as the houseguests this year, this blog always keeps it respectful. I’ve always enjoyed Lisa Marie’s post too. I became friends with a couple of women three years ago on another BB blog. They are two of the best friends I’ve ever had so I feel at home here where the people seem friendly because they care. So I don’t mind people sharing their lives. I might do the same after awhile. I live in the south and have a son-in-law in Destin so I’m following the hurricanes closely also. See we already fit together. LOL

Regarding Celebrity Big Brother – I looked online and found an interview with Julie Chen. So far no one has been cast to be on the show, but they are talking about actual “celebrities”, albeit, with the list of who Julie would like, they are not really noteworthy or current. BUT, thankfully they do not include previous HG/contestants.

As far as this season, sigh…what a disaster. There is not a single person that I would like to see win. With that in mind, I chose Kevin, simply because he hasn’t really done any harm. But man, what a waste of a contestant. He couldn’t win a challenge even if they tied up and buried all the remaining contestants.

This season is like a kiss of death to Big Brother.

At his age going without food would be harder than on the younger ones. You’d have to prop me up if I was so hungry I was eating cough drops. That slop and their protein drinks are full of lactose and I’m intolerant. All they need to do is get rid of the whey and put in an organic vanilla flavored pea protein or veggie sprout protein. I’d be happy to be their nutritionist…..I’d have them eating cabbage steaks with garlic and cheese and lots of lactaid.

And when they get constipated from all the protein all they needed was some cheated form of magnesium..like magnesium malate. Even for their pain. I’m amazed at even how ignorant the food planners are. That shit just makes most ppl weaker, especially the older you are. I give Kevin a break.

Rather than be concerned for the health of the guests, BB prefers to waste the money on elaborate competition sets that are proved useless because the guests are busy throwing comps to one-legged “sprinters.” I hate #19…

Thanks, Bruce. I breathed a sigh of relief ! If returning hgs won’t be on CBB, why was there one on Season 19? Why a returning hg at all????There have been winners who have done nothing game-wise before. Jordan was one, I think.

No matter who wins veto, Paul will not be put up as a replacement. I hate that he’ll win, but he probably deserves to. How could he not? He was placed in a house with lemmings who will follow him until they fall right off the cliff.

Josh is saying he loves Paul, but that Paul has played the best game all season, and Josh can’t beat Paul in the end. Even though Paul is a vet, everyone will give it to Paul because they all hate Josh. He says the only way he has a shot of winning is to take Paul out. He doesn’t know whether to take the shot now, or wait until final three. Josh goes into the bathroom area, talking into the kitchen to Alex and Christmas.

Next week there will be two separate eviction episodes between Wednesday & Thursday night starting on September 13th. Feeds will go down a day before the episode and the HGs will get an early eviction event before the next round of events will take place in a compressed fast forward week. This year that means Feeds going down next Tuesday until after Wednesday’s special show airs.

So I guess BBAD won’t be on either then. I don’t get the live feeds but I catch up late nights on it and reading the blogs. I thought last night Julie said evictions on next Wednesday and Thursday. So that’ll take us down to final three right? Then a week of boredom on the feeds and for me at night on BBAD. Then finale night. Can I ask a question unrelated to the game but something I’m curious about on here? I’ve noticed sometimes when people post on here there’s no reply button. Why is that?

Just got that info on the e-mail BB network sends out. If Alex or Kevin wins Veto they take themselves off. The kicker is the top 3 is solid ( says, BB spoilers not gonna turn on Paul or Christmas. Don’t hope for some craziness where Josh decides to get Paul out this week. Not going to happen and with everyone convinced Paul is with them then no one will turn on him.

I agree that Josh so far has been all talk and no action – but this fixation on Paul’s play is like a dog with a bone and he can’t seem to let it go! I think he might use it as a back door option if there is that opportunity. If he doesn’t then he has no chance and I think he realizes that.

Margie, been thinking of you and watching Irma. Have you ever heard of a cruise ship going down in a storm? Don’t think Poseidon Adventure – just a movie. I haven’t so that is a pretty good record. You may not get to Key West, but I believe you will have a wonderful time. Try not to worry. The cruise line would never put one of their ships in danger. Bad publicity if something happened. If they cancel sailing out, bless you! What port are you sailing from?

Two …. Yes we are still going on the cruise. We leave Sunday the 10th but, of course, we have been rerouted to Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. I’m not really worried because I don’t think they would want their cruise ship damaged! lol Not so sure about the passengers. My sister and two girlfriends are going so we will have a good time no matter which direction we go. Thanks for asking! I’ll be checking email and the blog to see what is going on and will be home just in time for finale with all of you!

So my question is to the live feeders were they able to catch what Paul said to Jason?

Am I missing something? Does it matter here if someone post first, or fifth, or sixteenth, or one hundredth? This is a sincere question.
I find these comments hard to follow. Maybe it’s me not knowing how to do it. I receive emails for each comment posted (except my own). When I read many of the emails they will say thing like “Yes”, “Me too”, “Same thing I was thinking”, etc. Have no idea what comments these posters are referring to, makes no sence. But if I read the comments through the blog, I have to start at the top of the blog each time to discover what new comments have been added. It takes forever to continually go through all the comments each time I visit the site.
What am I doing wrong? There has to be an easier way.

tendr Cody fan September 8, 2017 at 9:53 pm: Prattle there is a setting where you can stop the emails. If you don’t see it on this page ask Lisa and she will help you. Also, it’s difficult to answer someone when you come in late like I do so I try to go to the reply button but it helps if we put the name of the person we’re talking to.
Get rid of the emails.
And I don’t like this reply set up because I have to start at the top all over again when I come back in if I don’t want to miss something so at this point I just miss a lot.

Junksies…I read somewhere he said, “It wasn’t me.” I went back and listened to it and that’s what it sounded like to me. Can’t believe Xmas doesn’t get ticked being thrown under the bus. These peopple have a serous case of terminal stupidity. And Paul is the worst actor ever!!!!

Maxie… Thanks for that… and I went back and heard him say that too. But did you notice he said more than that that BB bleeped out? It seems that way to me.

I don’t get the email notifications…never have. When I log on, I just start at the END of the blog, then scroll up for anything that I have missed and to see if someone has responded to a question or comment that I have made. I have come to like the reply button. I use it when I can but notice that my reply is placed later down the line. It’s easy to follow once you get used to it.

Maxie — I hope Irma missing you and all others in that area. I can’t believe some people aren’t heeding the warning and evacuating. Why would anyone put themselves in obvious danger especially after seeing what Harvey did last week. I just don’t understand. I hope everyone stays safe and very little damage.

Thank you Sherry. People are stranded on the interstate.. can’t get gas and may not have enough water. Problem with FL is it takes so long to get out!
prattle.. I was thinking the same about your cats! They are my little massage kitties!
Nothing to say about BB. Not much faith in Josh. And I agree with you… if he got Paul out..he’d be a hero and jury would give him the game!! But I’m not holding my breath.

When they reach 2 pounds they are ready to be returned to the shelter. At that point they are neutered and put up for adoption. I love being a foster mom for kittens. Fostering helps give purpose to my life.

OT……No, it’s usually not hard to give the kittens back. I’m not in the position to have a full time cat. Fostering gives me the opportunity to have kittens in my life when I am available. Some of the kittens have been separated from their moms so I bottle feed them, other kittens are sick and need medicine on a daily schedule. Then there are the feral kittens that need some specialization. Most kittens are ready to go back to the shelter at 8 weeks old, some stay a little longer. I usually keep 2 kittens at a time and during kitten season when I return 2 I get 2 more.

I’ve rescued a bunch of cats over the years but now I’m allergic, really bad, and have to be careful with the one that I have. He is one of 5 dogs, that are also rescues, and thinks he is a dog! They are all one big happy pack!!

If someone replies to a comment, that comment appears underneath the post. Replies don’t have a reply button. The next comment appears underneath all of the replies to the previous comment.

Don’t fret over it, i used to find it maddening as well. because we all assume to reply to reply and forget about new comments, it is hard to follow. that’s why i try to, now mind you i said try to not reply, just address the person by name like i am doing to you. that way it is easy to mark your spot. and not have to read the whole blog over and over. thank goodness LisaMarie, puts new post notices. some of us have been here for years. you will get used to it. just be patient and you will blend in with us. my mom her user name was swt.

Thank you, Lisa, for a great report!!!!! I agree with everyone…particularly that Christmas should not have been allowed to stay after her accident. Also, loved all the blindsides. After reviewing the past few weeks, I hope the final two are Kevin & Josh. I just don’t like any of the players. Hope Paul, Alex & Christmas go to the jury house. Also…hope Kevin wins AFH and the game!!!!!!
