BB19 — Alex Hiding In A Cabinet

Hi y’all!

Well, the season is quickly coming to a close. They had the next-to-last veto meeting earlier today and Paul did not use the veto. Despite all of his efforts to convince Alex that he had no choice and that he was being bullied into it, it appears that Alex finally figured out that he was lying to her.

Seriously, Alex was crazy bitter last night. Talking to the camera, she went on for a while about how much she hates Paul, Christmas, and Josh. (For once, she left Kevin out of it.) She said that she was sick of Josh crying. She said that she was sick of Christmas playing the victim. But she reserved most of her anger for Paul. She said that Paul was fake. She said that Paul’s “friendship” meant nothing. She said that she should have listened to Jason and then she suddenly said, “Cody was right. Paul’s taking Josh to the final two.” Alex spent a while talking about how Paul is a hundred times richer than her but he wouldn’t even take her to the final two.

So, Alex finally figured out that Paul was never her ally but — as has been the case for almost everyone this season — Alex figured it a few days too late. Amazingly, Alex said that she trusted Paul because she saw his previous season. I’m going to guess that Alex did not pay for the live feeds and based her opinion based on the edit that Paul got on the CBS show.

Alex also begged all of us to make her America’s Favorite Player. I don’t see that happening.

Still, it was interesting just how angry Alex got. Alex is taking this very personally. Will she still vote for Paul in the jury? At this point, it’s starting to look like a bitter jury could be the only thing that could keep Paul from winning this season.

(I know some people think Josh will finally get the guts to vote Paul out in the final three. For that to happen, Josh would have to actually win the comp, without having it thrown to him. And, even if Josh does win the final HoH comp, he said earlier today that he now thinks that he could beat Paul in a final two situation.)

Anyway, after the veto meeting, Alex hid in a kitchen cabinet for a little while, waiting for someone to walk by so she could jump out and scare them. However, since everyone knew she was in there and nobody felt like dealing with her, everyone stayed out of the kitchen until Alex finally got out of the cabinet by herself and went into a bedroom by herself.

Tomorrow, the feeds go down and there will be a surprise Tuesday eviction. We’ll see who got evicted on Wednesday and then, on Thursday, another player will be evicted.

It’s almost over.

Thank heavens it’s almost over! I hope the jury votes for anyone other than Paul to win. My husband, for the first time, watched Big Brother ( he did it for me! ❤️) and never saw live feeds, BBAD, or read this blog and also hopes Paul does not win!

Point to ponder. Even the people setting up the Comic book competition saw Paul as a bully and a lot worse. I do not hate. Sometimes I dislike very intensely. 🐝sweet 💕

As some of the players have said …. they “played themselves”! That is what Paul has done. It is not believable that EVERYTHING was not Paul’s fault – and that is the story he is trying to tell, while still giving out clues about how smart he is…

I think he has overplayed his hand on this one! Maybe… just maybe he won’t get away with it. I have said all along that he was the only one playing a strong game… but he had too many people give up their chance to win a comp or HOH at his command! Surely they have got to figure this out! He had too many final twos that are now sitting in jury that have had time to figure this all out!

It is pretty sad that most people just want this awful season to be over and done. You have to think (at least I hope) CBS realizes how disappointed the fans are with this season and plan to fix things next season.

Last night’s Revenger clip was more Frankie than I ever want or need to see. Please do not ever bring him back for anything.

Juju, right. They say Paul🐉 played a good game, BUT: If he hadn’t been given all of the advantages in the beginning, he wouldn’t of made it through the first eviction. I just hope that Kevin will think of his 7 children🍼 and come out fighting in the next comp. Being a master mulipilater is not a good thing. IMHO. Come on Survivor, we are ready for you. ⌚

I am so glad to hear that this mess of a show is almost over and we can start watching a real show without all the editing…”Survivor”. I haven’t watched BB 19 for over 4 weeks now, I have just been reading about it on this awesome blog. I wouldn’t give you a plug nickel for any of them that are left. I sure hope that Paul doesn’t even make final 2. Kick his A_S out as 3rd place, that way he cannot try and convince the jury with anymore of his lies. Good Bye and Good Riddance Paul!!

I’ll watch BB till the end but I’d sure give just about anything to see each and everyone of these HGS faces when they find out what people REALLY think of them and they learn what the other HGS did and said. BTW, just because I dislike the game play ( if you can call it that) of 4 of the 5 remaining HGS….I’d like Kevin to win. I also know it won’t happen.

He played s manipulative game with betrayal on top marvelously. When you trust someone implicitly, it can quickly turn to hate when you are viciously betrayed. That’s what Paul has done all season. It will be difficult for this bunch to justify it and give him the win. He really played them all so we’ll see what they do.

Im still standing my ground on Paul – he developed (what they thought) true feelings about all of the people he had a hand in evicting. There is game – but there is true emotions that develop with your fellow man kind. They were all dupped and I hope the dummys wake the heck up and vote for ANYONE else!

Why I think Paul will take Josh to the F2 if he gets to choose:
He doesn’t want Josh in the jury house. He thinks Josh is too
unpredictable, too emotional, and too easily swayed by others.
He thinks Josh talks too much and doesn’t use a filter at times.(Paul is incapable of seeing he is guilty of the same things.)
Of course all of these things are true, but Paul is really afraid
to risk it. It will be interesting to see how he gets around X-mas,
but then the comps haven’t happened yet.

Bunch of haters for the person that’s going to win the game and for CBS. Plus a whole bunch for the person writing this. Just to clear something up, I’d like to ask how many people voted for Paul to get the Temptation in week one? I did and I did it because I knew him from last season and the way he played already. A kind of pick your own poison if you will. I didn’t know anything about the rest of houseguests except their bios. Some people are making it a huge thing because I said hate was a very strong emotion and shouldn’t be used just over the coarse of a game. I think it’s mean and just plain petty. Like the person they are complaining about in the first place. Makes no sense. You can change your word for hate but that doesn’t change your heart. Just like the houseguests do when they pick the next weakest member of the herd to bully to get out of the house. They chase it and cuss it all over the yard just to finally corner it and belittle it till it’s in tears. But even worse than the poor houseguests, are the people on the outside are doing the same thing to innocent people on the outside when it’s just not necessary. I can just imagine someone that’s young and naive being eaten alive just and all because they say the dreaded words ” Paul’s going to win I think “. Oh my goodness you would think it’s World War lll.

two September 12, 2017 at 2:52 am: Sandraftsm, I don’t think anyone says ‘hate’ with a strict definition of the word. Semantics. We are supposed to hate the sin and love the sinner. Of course it is hard, hard, hard. The right thing to do is usually hard. I hate everything Paul has done. As for the guy himself…I don’t “hate” him. I just find him revolting. And I certainly don’t hate you or anyone else who is for Paul, but I don’t like the idea of him winning. The hgs this year weren’t smart enough to play the game (except Cody and maybe Jess).
However this plays out – and Tammy I hope you’re right – I’ll only be happy if Paul loses. Won’t love it if he loses, but I’ll really, really like it. I’ll feel sorry for Paul if he loses. Sorry for him but happy for me.
I think Josh ought to win. I’ve forgiven him for Pots and Pans Gate.

As dumb as what the HG’s were I’d rather see anyone of them win (even Josh the pan beater and loud mouth) but what would really make me happy is if Kevin wins and shows that you don’t have to cut someone’s throat to play the game.Anyway may the best player (or worse) win,I really don’t care who wins though cause I don’t like any of them anyway(not hate just don’t like…lol)

outlander September 12, 2017 at 9:39 am: As we come to the end of the season, i will reiterate, I tried to quit this blog because someone swore at me and called me out for saying Jess was trying to play a smart game. For some reason, I am still getting this blog, so here I am, still reading…

A lot of you hate Paul? He is one of the few playing the game. You may not like his game, but that is neither here nor there, he is PLAYING the game. The others are either not playing the game, or have been out done by Paul. Those who saw through Paul are no longer in the game. It is a game folks. Let it go… I love the game, I watch it to see what happens to folks in the game.

I do not watch it to bash women, the color of their lipstick, the size of their bodies, or body parts, what they do with men on the show (note: this blog, doesn’t bash what the men have done with the women, and come on, it is a two way street, near as much as what the women have done with the men – why is there a double standard?)

I am with most of you who don’t like the way production go involved and steered the ship this year. Let the player play is the way I would prefer to see big brother.

All I really have to say is – haters gonna hate!

I think it will come down to Christmas deciding who final 2 are. If her and Paul she wins. Josh and Paul, Paul wins. Kevin and anyone Kevin wins (except Christmas). I think Christmas will get the vote if she ends up in final 2 with anyone. I just don’t think anyone will vote for Josh bc he was such a bulky even if it was ordered by oaul.

Afp=Kevin or Cody (maybe jason)his little rape remarks will cost him.

Cathy: I so agree that they might give it to Kevin, if he makes
it to the F2. He hasn’t made any enemies (except for maybe
Alex) and has managed to stay in the game without winning
a single comp. He may turn out to be a better speaker than
Paul, if given a chance. It it’s the two of them at the end…it will
be a talk fest for sure! I wonder how much will have to be
bleeped!

She is so rude and hates old people. It makes me wonder if some old person abused her or something. Of course it’s kinda something you see from the young liberals too.lol
The main thing about Kevin I don’t like is his filthy mouth. He was worse than the young people sometimes about using the f word. I wonder if he talks like that at home. ….good grief.
He can’t really say too much to Jason about how he talked about his wife when he was throwing that word around like it was his favorite. But I like Kevin’s personality. Too bad he went along with the youngins instead of classin the place up a little.

Cathy you may be right, but I have a hard time believing hgs
are happy with X-mas getting to stay in the game with an injury
that kept her from competing, but not from having her name
drawn and keeping someone else who would have liked to have competetd from doing so. I can’t believe they were all blind and
deaf to the way she talked to Josh and manipulated him. Josh told
Jason he, X-mas,and Paul were in an alliance and all were behind
them being evicted. I’m anxious to see what he has to say to
Alex. It might make a difference, and then again nothing may
make a difference. This group is hard to read (for me) as to what they will do when the final vote comes in. But hasn’t it been fun
trying to guess? LOL. I still kind of feel like they’ll give it to Paul.

Most of the time Christmas kept her crap on the downlow. Remember how she would tell Josh don’t let people see you crying and would drag him.off just him and her. Same same with Paul. She was pretty sneaky. I think most of the house liked her, she played poor poor me off real good. Alex even felt bad for her when she told Alex it wouldn’t be long before she would have to go (meaning bc of her poor leg)(Alex bought it hook line and sinker).

I agree that if Frankie ever comes back, I will NEVER watch BB again..I have never missed a season, but that would do it for me! NO MORE FRANKIE!!

Having said that, the entire jury hates Paul & they all know he had a part in their evictions..At this point, I think they would vote for floater Kevin before they would give it to Paul..That will be worth watching..Paul has played himself..2nd place is even to good for that creep..

I am excited for this winter’s special celebrity BB..I am so curious who they will bring on & how they will deal without their luxuries & privacy…

I watched after dark today. Good grief of all the filthy language. Man I want to wash Josh’s mouth out with soap.
I cracked up when Paul was upset bc he had found out people called him potty mouth. Where did he hear that anyone know? Yep Jolee I’m a suckered for the underdog too. I still wanna see Cody really play something. I wish he would be on survivor, but it’s hard to not get voted off survivor if you have been on another reality show. The contestants on survivor don’t like people coming from another show to compete.

“friendship” this season. It just dawned on me. They made
his character about friendship this past season and started
this season with him giving out “friendship” bracelets??? It
flew over my head until now. Another advantage for him
by calling them friendship bracelets. I’m so dumb. I’ve been
wondering all season why they kept saying friendship when
they talked about Paul in the house. Duh!

Although I don’t comment often, or watch the live feeds, as this obnoxious season is ending I want to take time to acknowledge the dedication Lisa Marie has given to all of us with her daily updates. I anxiously await my daily pleasure of reading this blog and everybody’s comments and opinions. I’m so over the childish drama that, unlike other seasons, I don’t give a rat’s ass who wins! Lisa Marie has really been my saving grace this season. I have never watched when it made me feel disgusted from watching like I have this year. I just haven’t been able to really watch it the last couple weeks bc Paul’s just p.o.’s me. Gives me anxiety lol. Yes I’m ready to see the end of this mess and see some survivor. Whenever BB has an America’s Vote, how does anyone really know that America voted for that particular thing and/or person? I think production does whatever they want, no matter what America voted for. As for Paul, he wouldn’t be this far in the game if production hadn’t given him safety for the first 3 weeks and comps he already knows how to play. Why, oh why can’t BB give us a season of newbies? No more vets and please for the love of everything that is holy, NO MORE FRANKIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Queenbee, If only we felt like production was hearing our complaints and cared about what we think. They’re too busy watching the bank account. Only when people get fed up and make some noise in real life, will prod. respond. Probably with, “Production has no sway over the behavior of the hgs and what they say.” Yeah, right.

I’ve noticed there has been no talk about politics or religion. There’s at least one rule they kinda, sorta, adhered to.

I can only hope that if it end up a final 3 of X-mas/Paul and Josh that they boot Paul out for 3rd place…and that X-mas and Josh figure out who doesn’t deserve to win the extra 450,000…should take that money and donate to the Harvey and Irma hurricane funds…this group has been poor at best…you could tell that from the 2nd week in that non of them would make a HUGE move in the game…and YES its a game…a 95 day game…this non sense of BB20 with Celeb’s…Frankie is no celeb…now his sister is but nah…not Frankie the weasal …let’s get some real celeb’s…not past players…MAY ITS TIME FOR CBS TO BRING THE CURTIN DOWN ON BB FOR GOOD…reading Lisa’s Blog brings me more gratification and entertainment than watching the regular show or the BBAD disaster…

I agree, dr. I read Lisa’s blog like installments in a short story where we, as a class, respond to and critique the characters. In a lot of these celebs or stars included programs, I may have only heard of one or two. Frankie is a wanna be holding on to his sister’s coat tails. I’d be fine with never seeing him again.

I have been reading but not posting for a while. Just busy – not that I am not enjoying it. I too am tired of the group this year. And Lisa Marie you are the best!!!!

I have heard that CBS is saying their ratings are the best they have ever been this year. I would be surprised. Most people I know are fed up and disgusted with what’s going on.

There are people who are saying (and I think Paul believes this) that Paul will win because people will realize he has played the best game. It would surprise me if it happened. I think they vote more for game play on Survivor than on Big Brother. He hasn’t had the best game play (IMO) but rather the best advantages and the worst players of all time that he could lead by the nose. I truly hope he does not win. I will be very upset.

Boy, I hope you are right and think Paul was given the best advantages too. But I keep thinking of Rachel who was disliked by everybody, but the jury decided her game play was best and awarded her the win. I was rooting for her, but I never read many, if any, positive comments about her on this blog. I think that’s what makes me believe Paul will win no matter how much I don’t want it. No one listened to Cody before. Now they might. He’s an honorable man and will try to convince all in the jury that Paul played the best game. Rats.

I was surprised to read that the cbs ratings for bb were the best ever too. Then I realized I am still watching even though it’s a horrible season. Why? I guess it’s just too hard for me not to watch the train wreck.

OT – I haven’t changed my avatar in a long time – Here is my last daughter, Elizabeth. Since I have posted my other daughters and a brief chat up about them here’s my eldest. She is 27 and a graduate, with honors from Berkeley, she works in the tech industry and makes a lot of cha-ching. She is super funny, and has the most generous of hearts. In college she had a perpetual cold from giving away her jackets to people on the street. She finally figured a way to help people out without getting sick.

We just finished watching BBAD. The only refreshing part of the three hours and three minutes was when Christmas was helping Kevin by using a rolling pin on his arms. It showed a glimpse of the soft side of Christmas. And then everyone except Alex were gathered in Kevin’s room. A lot better than the threesome in the HOH room talking garbage! I also enjoyed the drama over the fish! 😊

prattle September 12, 2017 at 3:13 pm: The only reason they are being so nice to Kevin is because they don’t want Alex and Kevin sharing any information. Earlier Paul sent Josh to sit with Kevin. Then Paul decided that he couldn’t trust Josh to keep quiet so Paul and Christmas joined Josh and Kevin.
Kevin thought it was so nice that they came to spend time with him. So although it seemed nice that Christmas was helping Kevin with his arm pain…the real motive was to keep anyone from sharing info with Kevin, Alex and possibility Josh.

That is what confuses me – and saddens me – about BB19. Was last night the real Cmas – or was the foul mouthed angry woman barking at Josh the real Cmas?

Is the Paul we have seen most of the summer the real Paul – or is the real Paul the funny individual who was hilarious as he put makeup on Elena as if he was a TV expert?

Are these people forced to become something that they are not just to win a huge amount of money? I think BB has evolved into that and is the reason why super fans are so disenchanted.

the actions and words, we see and hear the most is the dominant part of their personalities in real life.

As human beings we all build walls of protections around us
to be able to put the best face we are capable of producing out there for the world to judge us by. None of us like to have the worst in us out there for all to see and criticize. And there is good and bad in all of us.

As we age, we lose our protective inhibitions and more and more of our true selves come out. If we’ve been a gentle, kind person most of our life and that is whom we really are down deep, then that is what people will see in us at all ages. If we’ve been
down deep not a very nice person, but have been great at fooling the world about whom we really are…we will be hell on wheels when we lose our inhibitions.

The same is true in how we handle situations. where pretending
to be something we aren’t is impossible to maintain for a
long period of time, under stressful situations. Most of us have
lines we strongly believe we wouldn’t cross under any circum-stances. We wouldn’t kill someone….but if we needed to protect
someone we loved from being harmed???? We wouldn’t steal…
but if our children were hungry and we had no way to provide
food for them??? So lines of behavior are never drawn in cement,
but become situational under dire times.

But under ordinary circumstances, we can pretty much know what we would and would not do for a certain price. In this day and age $500K is not that much money after taxes. But to some it would still be life changing, if wisely used. Now the question becomes, what lines are you willing to cross to make that money yours? Would it be enough for you to resort to bullying? Enough
to make you speak to people like the dirt beneath your feet?
Enough to agree to lie or cheat or trash someone’s reputation for
that golden ring on the merry-go-round? Or if you lowered
yourself to those levels…would the golden ring once in your hands no longer look bright and shiny…but tarnished and cheap? Would the image in the mirror still be someone you liked?
I think these are questions most of this group will be dealing with for a very long time. Some are not goiong to like the
answers they are going to have to face.

You stay so calm and slightly removed from the jerks in the game so as to present a balanced report. We all appreciate that and all you do for us and the blog. NO ONE could ever take your place. EVER.

Howard Stern, the shock jock. His wife has said he’s the nicest person and his on air comments are just a character he plays. So it happens, but I don’t think anyone could maintain a personality change for that long.

I like turnips but not as much as I like cabbage and Brussels sprouts! : )

JuJu I wouldn’t fake a trashy mouth hateful person for anyone. We all have bad sides but when Christmas who I’ve been standing up for called Kevin a c**t and said she wants to punch him in the face, last night…it made me not like her. I know it’s all paul as the fuel on the fire but if only bb had put ppl in there who really were big fans of the show, watched them all, got the feeds….paul would not be winning it now. At the first of the season when paul came in I said it’s like shooting fish in a barrel and I still feel the same way. Their bad sides are really nasty and stupid naive josh is probably the least bad so I hope he does not stay in touch with paul.. maybe if Cameron and Cody had stayed and worked together we might have seen a game worth watching.

In the beginning I was not a fan of Kevin however he has grown on me. I would like to see Kevin win and Paul come in 2nd just because of last year. Actually I would rather see Paul evicted (not sure how that would come about)! His attitude has become even more pious over the last week.
Christmas is a wicked Bitch! Once Josh was settled down by either valium or Production he was tolerable. He did let his mouth overload his ass a few times and I disliked when he became Paul’s puppet! The way Christmas and Paul scolded Josh as very degrading but he took it in stride…
I loathed the fact that when some of them were up for eviction they started reading the Bible! That was just wrong…and laying with the Bible open but cussing like a sailor was deployable.
If Paul is in the final 2 I can’t see him getting the votes to win unless the Jury members are insane! Paul was too smug about how well he was playing the game and had all the houseguests eating out of his beard…js
