Bruce, I am with you. I can not believe how badly it has been screwed up. And Christmas staying in the game when she can not compete in most of the competitions is really dumb. But the thing that drives me crazy is allowing everyone to throw all these comps. If anyone throws a comp they should be evicted immediately.

Allison Grodner is also the mastermind responsible for many other dismal seasons that, as with this season, have produced top time slot summer tv viewership ratings. Bad TV rules the airwaves, apparently, with Big Brother being just one of many dismal shows viewers just love to hate.

Not a fan of violence, especially against women – the vitriol against her is ridiculous she is taking way more heat than Paul, who set everything in motion, Jason, who made those rape comments, and Josh who tried to incite physical violence, and Raven who lies about having an illness that she is going to die from – she might be a jackass, but she is no worse than the rest of these clowns, and it annoys me that she seems to be held to a higher standard – Jason is a father for crying out loud, Paul is sort of a public figure – maybe you can hold her to a higher standard than Josh because he’s a dumbass – what about Christmas? she’s an author who writes about branding and empowerment – how come no one is up her grill?

Paul is just trying to persuade people to do the things that he wants done.It’s not his fault that the idiots do as he says.He gets other people to do his dirty work and if they didn’t do it Paul would not take it on himself because he would look too bad in the eyes of the HG.Alex on the other hand took it to a whole new level by getting in Kevin’s face and saying mean things and don’t forget where she wanted Josh to poop in Kevin’s bed.

Actually, if you have really watched Alex, she is violent. Call it kidding around or horsing around or whatever, but she slaps and punches and kicks the other house guests. This isn’t just about what is said. It is about what is physically done. I can’t stand Christmas and her nasty attitude. I think Raven has a mental problem more than physical with her lies. Jason’s comments were absolutely inappropriate. Paul is the catalyst for the poor behavior. And Josh instigates most of the confrontations and pending violence. However, Alex is nasty AND physically violent. Not sure why you are defending Alex so strongly while in the same breath saying you are not a fan of violence. You really need to read more posts because we have all been “up everyone’s grill” from time to time based on their actions.

I was thinking that last night, Debbie, because the show doesn’t honestly reflect what goes on in the house. It did show Christmas being a bit mean to Josh but nothing of how Alex treated Kevin. I stopped watching BBAD because of the bullying and really, if I didn’t read the blogs, I would be clueless on the true state of affairs. i don’t hate Jason and i know he’s going to hate himself for what he said but i don’t want him or alex who laughed the most to be rewarded. Josh as stupid as he is might be able to see how he was used. though it was ok to hurt other’s he doesn’t like paul hurting his (josh’s) game. i don’t think any of them care about the money that much.

I am really torn on this one. I would love for Kevin to be able to
win something and earn being kept on BB, but so far he’s muffed
every chance he’s ever had. He’s good to say afterward he could
have won this comp or that comp, but he never does. He listens to
Paul even when down deep he knows Paul isn’t to be trusted. He
is friendly with all hgs, but never stands up for those he befriends. So in reality he doesn’t really deserve to go forward. He is just
postponing his departure for the DE or the week afterward.
Jason stands a better chance at competing for the HOH. But it would take a vote that nearly evicted him to wake him and Alex up to what Paul is really doing behind the scenes. His # of comp wins makes him more deserving to stay IMO, but he won’t because of his belief in the wrong people and allowing himself to be controlled by
them.
Alex might wake up and start playing for the first time all season,
when Jason is evicted. But she probably still won’t fault Paul for Jason’s eviction. So her game is doomed to fail.
In the meantime someone like Raven is still in the game and should
have been voted out weeks ago. X-mas is still in the game and
crowing over HOH wins that were given to her. She hasn’t earned anything to make her stay valid. She should have been evicted when she was first hurt and physically unable to compete.
Josh has figured out what Paul is up to, but once again is being
controlled by X-mas (and thus Paul) which makes him a floater, too.
These hgs have been given so many chances to play the game and
have been content to float along and let Paul make idiots out of
all of them. And in the process Paul has promoted vicious comments, ugly behavior, ugly language, the shredding of the
reputations of others for his own advancement and pure enjoyment,
He has made this season so difficult to watch. The pretentious
bragging on his part, X-mas, Alex, and Raven would have been
laughable if not so very disappointing and disgusting. The hgs
don’t even understand the difference between being controlled
(floating) and actual game play. So I don’t really care who is evicted.
It won’t make any real difference. Just give Paul the money and let
it be over.
Paul could have gone down as one of the best players in BB history,

ugly in his game play as he has been to have been a winner. He

After reading this comment, I had to scroll back up to see who wrote it and saw that it was Sherry. Well that figures because I usually about 95% of the time agree with everything she says and I’m happy to let her voice my opinion as I am glad I have a lot of other things to keep me busy right now right before winter gets here, like roof the greenhouse, powerwash something or level a bunch of dirt. As much as I love Big Brother this has been the absolute worse season ever and I’ve watched every single one of them. If these idiots are going to let Paul lead them around by a nose ring to the finish line and let him plead his case of how he munipilated each and every one of them into doing his dirty work to further him down the road then he might as well get the money. I don’t like any of the foul mouthed, every other word is f-bomb this or that , but it’s kinda monkey see, monkey do in this house. Happy I have 7 grandkids with four 14 yr. olds to keep us going and Texas High School football is starting. Stay safe hurricane victims and evacuate before hand.

You and Sherry are both spot on! It has been a sad season with no one but Paul actually playing the game (since jury was formed). When a houseguest in danger of going home allows themselves to be talked into throwing a competition – they are a floater, an idiot, or both!
I would also love to see Kevin get an HOH win… but he seems to be easily swayed (just like all of the others) and he doesn’t speak up enough. He just isn’t strong enough. So his HOH would be a total disappointment!
Just shoot this season and bury it. As Randy said… we have Texas HS football starting. And unfortunately a lot more serious weather related disasters to recover from.

But it’s too late now for wins , he has no real allies and even if he somehow got up the end, the truth about his winning the 25k is out and no one will vote to give him MORE money.
Jason is going home, I know. But he’s a good competitor and really would have a shot if he’d team up with Josh since THEY BOTH seem to FINALLY see whst Paul is doing. I just think he’s the better player. But even IF he made it past round one, he’d have a good chance of going out on the double eviction.

You are right – I rarely watch BBAD, but I have noticed that Alex (on this blog) appears to get a lot more criticism than the rest of the bozos – I am not defending her bullying by any means, but I only hear about it, I don’t see it, I have seen a lot more of Josh’s behavior, particularly when he was taunting Cody and Mark (who I thought was a gentle soul) and, of course Jason’s disgusting comments – and Mr. Snake Paul who has single handedly brought this cast to a new low – Thank the Lord for Lisa Marie and the groovy people on this here blog because this was by far the best part of BB19 –

Susan you might be right. I think it could be because people liked her in the beginning of the season. I know I did. She looked like she was teaming up with Cody (over Jessica’s objections) and had some strategy to play. Suddenly, she was HOH and had Paul directing her play. It went down hill from ther. I was wondering the same thing a couple of days ago because this isn’t just a typical hurricane. I know the news would be preoccupying his somewhat game play as of late. As this show is live and not prerecorded like Bachelor or Bachelorette shows, I would think they would need to give him the option of staying or leaving to be with his family and business no matter how big or small it may be. Would hate for something bad to happen to one of them and Josh not be notified or warned ahead of time of the severity of this storm. I can’t imagine the damage if Irma stays a Cat. 3 or 4 and hits Florida and heads north over land slowly deintensifying along the way. A lot of expensive race horses are in Florida and have been moved already as should the majority of the retired people living there.

I know when 9/11 hit a house guest lost a relative. Cousin, I believe it was and she was close to the person who sadly lost their life. I *think* the HG’s name was Monica. BB notified her.

Sherry I couldn’t have said it better. I mostly like Kevin but he hasn’t tried to win. He takes confidences and runs to Paul or others with them. Like when he told everyone about Cody’s little girl. Cody only told him because Kevin was missing his family. I’m not sure Kevin knows Paul started the bandwagon to attack him and Alex jumped on it and won’t get off.

I don’t think Kevin will get angry enough ‘yet’ to get Paul out. The thing is….he has a whole big family watching him and the others except Jason don’t really have anyone to answer to for their behavior. I bet Kevin may be afraid of his anger. I know mine scares me because I become someone else so I have to do something , anything to not get too angry and in the BB house I’d have to be motherly, pretend I’m someone else or the words they say to Kevin…I mean I would physically lose it. I dumped a very long time friend for saying he’d shoot the f**ker talking about my chihuahua….so imagine bringing up his kids….Kevin isn’t perfect but non of us are.

Dr. M : Not sure about 90% of her ailments but I have seen the outline of her pacemaker in her abdomen. My sister has one and it looks exactly the same. I’m guessing she takes some pretty strong pain medicine for that small of a body and gets quiet loopy to where you can’t understand her. Not everyone from Arkansas talks like her. I do think if you are not a strong person before a serious illness takes effect on you, it can lead to more illnesses such as her depression but she comes off the wall trying to one up anyone else with their aches and pains with hers is what gets me.

I vote to evict Kevin, simply because he hasn’t hardly tried to win any competitions and the fact that he hasn’t been a fan or follower of the show. I thought he was just playing at the beginning until he didn’t know who last years winner was when Nicole came in. Hoping Jason can survive and win HOH and send Paul home then Alex win next and send Christmas home for putting her and Jason up. Jason has been pretty standup guy and loved getting the message about another child on the way. Could do without the language because it makes me uncomfortable with how myself and family live our lives. We try to teach the grandchildren morals and how to respect elders no matter if you know them by name or not. Learn not to use profanity and making that a habit. Not to follow along with what other kids in school are doing if you see that it is wrong, because right now our teachers, my wife being one have their hands tied to what they can do to discipline them. It seems ISS and keeping them in School away from other students is their option. That way the school still gets their $$$$$ for each student that shows up. It’s really sad when all teacher leave a school because of unruly kids. Only 3 teachers came back this year in 3,4 & 5th grades. That’s the beginning of getting young adults that talk the way this BB19 house has been all year. I have no idea why I I got off on that subject!!!!!! Hopefully Kevin goes and Jason is mad.

I vote to evict Kevin. I have a couple of reasons. #1, he already has the $25,000. #2, He has made NO effort whatsoever to try to win anything. Even though it has been pointed out to him so many times that he is being played, he just doesn’t learn. #3, he continuously says that 70% of the game is social and claims he is so well loved that he should win. #4, I agree, he is not a show fan. #5, I know it is not a fair criteria, but Jason can use the money more and has at least tried to play the game.

When Kevin took the 25k, I figured he wasn’t there with any hopes of winning. Then he got the $27, and I believe if he had the opportunity to get more money, he would have. I think as soon as he walked into the BB house, he saw the writing on the wall, and he wrote it. Him acting outraged after just laying around all season is probably due to Paul’s convincing him he’d be going to the F3 with him….got his hopes up. Thinking, just maybe I can win this thing after all. If I do what Paul says,
This season it seems the person most able to win would have been the person who did nothing but sit back and watch the fireworks. Paul has pulled the rug out from under Kevin, but his hiney hasn’t hit the floor yet. He’s still hanging mid-air.
At the end Julie is going to ask the jury to vote for the person they believe played the best game. Just watch. Even if everyone hates Paul by then, he’ll win the prize just like Rachel did.

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at last night’s episode. Them questioning why Paul thinks he is going to be backdoored. Christmas thinking she is giving such a good speech about Kevin being the only one to never be on the block so he has to go on the block. Hello, how many times has Paul been OTB?

I also laughed at his comment about Mark and Elena. Wonder if he really watches the show or he was fed the lines? If he was fed the lines, the production is admitting they think the houseguests are idiots.
I wish I could have controlled that machine last night and put it in overdrive on Paul. He seemed pissed that Alex was actually competing for the POV and not just giving it to him. She’s on the block, of course she is going to go balls to the wall to try and win.
Paul has had such a rough time in the house that he gets to win the back stage tour of the new show to compensate for all his misery.
I hope they tell Josh what is happening in Miami. I know it will screw with his head but he needs to know so he can make the decision whether to stay or head home to be with his family.

I agree with all the reasons given to evict Kevin but then Jason and Alex will not understand that they were actually in danger! They have been thinking that Kevin was the target all along and they will continue to worship at Paul’s feet! Alex will say – “I told you so Jason! Keep listening to me as I parrot everything that Paul tells me to believe!” Maybe the only way to wake up Alex is for Jason to be voted out! I would imagine if Josh knew what was happening he’d be running thru the house crying and going ballistic. It certainly wouldn’t be wise for him to fly anywhere in Fl.
I’m checking the hurricane updates continuously during the day. Even if Irma misses a head on hit to Fl. it is so big it will still cause damage. One of the recent projected paths has it skirting Fl. and heading for SC. I’m inland SC but after living here during Hugo I take every hurricane seriously.

The word “spoiler” took on a new meaning this year. The entire BB season was SPOILED the moment Paul walked in the door! My husband & I both groaned — and we could imagine the collective groan all around the country! He’s continued to spoil everything about this BB game, a summer pastime we used to enjoy.
I would evict Kevin, though I don’t think it will happen, because at least Jason has some fight in him and would perhaps, PERHAPS, target Paul.

I think if production really wanted to shake things up, during the second HOH, nominations, veto, etc., they wouldn’t give the hgs a chance to strategize. As soon as someone would win HOH, he/she would have to immediately name their 2 nominations. Same with the veto, etc. At least we would maybe get a chance to see what the rest of them would do without Paul pulling all the strings. It might lead to a big surprise.

The HGS were barely up and awake when the LFS went off. That was about 2 hours ago. I wonder if they are going to stay off until the DE tonight?? That’s about 7 hours in between!! Even if they are building a lot , why can’t the HGS be on? I wonder if they are doing extra DRS before the show. Or maybe it’s just to build excitement!

There is an interview with DR Will in jokers under BB Media. I tried to C&P it here several times but it keeps locking up my puter. But go read it if you get a chance. Puts things in perspective. Altho you can so read his ego coming thru every word!!! He was a good player but in his day, Dr Will was Paul to me. Except worse!! So i never really liked him but he does win when he plays and that. as he reminds us, is what counts!!!

Sadly, I don’t think anyone will put Paul on the block, with the “puppets” in the house, there will not be enough votes to evict him. Everyone thinks they are aligned with Paul. Josh is the ONLY one that is seeing Paul for who he is.

I still think that Kevin is playing possum and is playing the game more than what people think. Kevin knows that Paul is calling all the shots. He knows that Jason is leaving and even told him as much, but Jason would not listen. He knows where people are within the house and at what time they are there. When he is in his bed his mind is churning, constantly in the game, but he deflects to appear as if he’s a dunderhead. As the game progresses, he appears to be dumber and dumber, clueless, but mark my words, he is not!! He is playing them! When he is talking, bits and pieces slip that he knows exactly what is going on. His strategy is to play court jester, lay low, win no comps so he doesn’t appear to be a threat. It will not surprise me if he starts winning comps from here forward. He even said the last 3 comps are the only ones that matter. I’ve said this before and will say again…he has watched BB and has daughters who have coached him. How else could he have known that Meech was out 7th in her season? It rolled off is tongue like nobody’s business. Just my thoughts…
