Hi, everyone!
There’s been a lot of veto action in the past few days and, as a result, Jimmy has now had to nominate a total of five people for eviction, his two original targets are now safe, and he’s managed to tick off everyone in the House. Remember how Jimmy and Rachel seemed to be cozying up to each other? Well, that’s over with!
First off, at the veto comp, guest competitor Kaycee won the veto and gave it to Keanu. Keanu, on Monday, used the veto on himself. Jimmy nominated Amy who is, of course, one of Rachel’s closest friends in the house. Jimmy says that he nominated Amy because he heard the Amy was throwing around his name as a possible nominee during the first week. Maybe she was, maybe she wasn’t. It would have been nice if we could have seen the first week on the live feeds.
Then, Kelley had her special individual veto competition. Apparently, it involved solving a puzzle and Kelley surprised everyone with how quickly she was able to do it. (I’m surprised too. Kelley is emerging as a challenge threat.) Kelley used the veto to take herself off the block so Jimmy nominated Will.
Now, seriously, these renoms are silly. The biggest threat in the House no longer has immunity. If you’re really playing to win, as Jimmy claims, this is when you go after Rachel. I know that Jimmy says it’s too early but actually it’s not. If you nominate Rachel and then explain to everyone why she is the biggest threat to win the game, Rachel would be voted out. People might cry when they vote for her but she would still be sent packing. Rachel’s alliances would collapse without her around to lead them and, with her out of the house, it would automatically become a brand new game. Jimmy could swoop in and pick up the pieces. After this week, he’s definitely going to wish he had more allies in the House.
Instead of going after Rachel or even a strong competitor like Zach, Jimmy is nominated Amy and Will for personal reasons. Meanwhile, Adrian — who was only supposed to be a pawn — is still on the block and will probably be voted out unless he wins the Blockbuster. If Adrian wins the blockbuster and Amy leaves, Rachel will be even angrier at Jimmy. If Will leaves then Jimmy’s whole HoH will basically have been for nothing because Will is in no way a threat to anyone.
In short, Jimmy’s HoH is a mess and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. Jimmy came on way too hard and spent more time playing to the cameras than thinking about the long-term game. Jimmy, I will predict right now, is going to be the first former HoH sent out of the house.
We’ll see if I’m right!
