Big Brother 14 starts in exactly 2 weeks from today!

So I posed this question on the facebook page today, What are you doing 2 weeks from now?

It was not really a question that needed an answer. I mean come on…if you are reading this blog, getting an email, LIKING my page, you OBVIOUSLY are one of the thousands of people who will be glued to your TV with us and watching as we start our summer obsession!!

So this year as I said a few days ago, BBBlogger IS BACK. This year I am going to try to blog more but as you see, I am good for about 1 post a week. LOL So I am still open to having some of you (Big Brother Blog’s faithful) helping me out. I am still working on getting some former cast members to help me out with at least a post a week and some others who want. Either way, I am going to do my best to give you a BLOG A DAY this season!

In return, I am going to ask you guys for a few things! Here is a list of my demands! 🙂

1. LIKE, SHARE, RETWEET, +1, post on LinkedIN, EVERY POST from my blog. The more you guys share and recommend, the more exposure my little blog will have.
2. Comment. Did you know that we are going to hit the 50,000 comment mark this year….and well…I think I may have to give away an iPod to the lucky number 50,000. So good luck with that!
3. Interact with others. We are a community and this blog would really SUCK without you guys. Invite others to join in.

So, with that being said, Big Brother Blog is the place to be for Big Brother 14. I will do my best and you guys will help make this the blog to follow, listen to, express your opinion and have fun with!

I am planning on watching it again for the 14th time. However, if the cast includes too many “retreads” I will have to rethink my plans. The commercials are featuring the old casts and I hope that is just a teaser.

I know exactly where I will be in two weeks…..waiting for the houseguests to enter the Big Brother house along with all the other faithful BB watchers. I hope they have a new bunch this year, and they don’t shove Rachel down our throats again. Enough already, give someone new a chance to win the money.

BBBlogger, I agree with your list of demands. I’m sure everyone will agree that this is the place to be!

@ Pat…I agree with your comment. I really wasn’t into BB last year for that same reason. Hopefully they have learned from their mistake.

I ,Star, agree to all the aforementioned demands and to comment as much as possible…like I wouldn’t ANYWAY!!!lol

I will be glued to CBS in 2 weeks, critiquing all the rats….. errr…… HGs as they arrive!!;)

I just hope they don’t bring back any old HGs and have them actually PLAY the game!! I don’t mind a guest shot or a host spot, but this brining in vets every year is getting OLD…. especially when it’s usually HGs that were obnoxious and don’t have a real LIFE and that is WHY they agree to come back!!!!

BTW..I did sign up for the LFs today but have had some problems with it. It wouldn’t accept my PW last night and was told they would send it to me , but they never did! Got it to work toay, but there was no PRICE when I hit accept and was told they would send an email on THAT and still nothing! Is this normal,BBBlogger??? Makes me a bit uneasy not knowing what is going on my card! Hopefully, I will hear from them soon!!!

Can’t WAIT for BB14 !!!!!! Don’t let us down this year CBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am so ready, willing and able for bb to begin and I thank you for yet another year for a place for us to come, blog and have a good time.
i agree to the rules and regulations and will do my up most best to abide by them
i agree no more live in re cycled houseguests ENOUGH already
a host now and then would be great
also i agree 100% with my fellow bloggers it has not been fair when they bring back “seasoned” houseguests and sides are drawn. These” has beens” have been there, done that, which gives them an unfair advantage.
Looking foward to seeing old friends and making new ones here,
I have been a bb groupie since day 1 and do not plan to stop watching now, yes i moan an groan along with a lot of you, but hang in there.
so bbblogger do your thing my dear, my seat front row center has a reserved sign on it, and my family and friends have been alerted under penalty of death not to call me while bb is on.

I still have not received any confirmation for the LFs and it’s been about 7 or 8 hours. Should I be concerned??? When i agreed to it there was a ZERO price, altho I used the COUPON for the Early Bird Spedial. It’s just that most places you buy something send a confirmation within minutes!!! I don’t remember having any trouble the last couple of years. Any suggestions????

In two weeks, I will be high in the Sequoia National Forrest attending a Music and Arts Camp. I will be teaching a ceramics class, showing how to throw on the wheel, and mixing glazes. And, listening to a lot of great music and watching dance… Flamenco, Tango, a bunch of Hillbilly and Belly Dancing. The best part is watching the dance classes… especially the Flamenco and Belly… 😀 ! Those that know me, know I abhor smiley faces… so you know how much I enjoy watching those classes…

What does this have to do with Big Brother, you ask… well, that’s what I’ll be doing in two weeks. I will have a lot of BB to catch up with when I return, and I do a marathon of all the shows at once. I don’t think I will be wasting time on BBAD this time.

Frannie2p has led me to believe that Laura from Survivor will be on. Anyone here that? She also claimed Colton would be on, but I don’t really see that happening. But then, you know how CBS has no scruples. That being said… I do hope and expect to see Aggie’s favorite muscleman on this time. And of course, what would BB be with out Rachel… the VIP Hostess??? I love her laugh, as she just brightens up a room by walking in. Needless to say, I am not too happy with Frances’s current avatar. Of course, the dream BB House would include Danielle and Enzo, probably my very favorites. And Brittany was a love… I can’t believe she married that weasel that burnt her house down.

I will be spreading the BBBlog word to my faithful followers with tweets, pins and maybe even a mention on my fb page.

So starting 7/8 I will be out of touch, high up in the mountains. I was able to follow a bit with my iphone with on that app that has a badger or chipmunk on it. I will have to find it… but I think BB had started last year and I had seen the first couple of shows. I only stayed a week, but have been asked to teach a class and will be gone for two.

Gosh, I’m writing a lot… starting to sound like Mama Margie or Star.

But who are these people in the pictures? Sure HGs in or almost in sequester by now. What a gig! Posing as a HG in a picture of a fake house on a studio lot for a reality TV show and getting paid for it. The Mayans may be right about December 21st Bubba….

Also just saw Dan Gheesling say on Twitter he’s not a mentor (“unless House is in Michigan”) and Janelle just had a baby so who knows? But “four big” surprises on the commercial makes me think there are four past people coming back but not playing. Agree with all here thinking I’ve had enough of past HGs…for now. One thing about all these rumors: we all know they know they couldn’t say anything because of CBS and their contracts.

Can’t wait for the season to start so we won’t have to hear about all these rumors and stuff. The new House thing obviously true but if Rachel is back as a mentor I’ll puke and think she may be sleeping with Les Moonves. Time to go douche that nasty imagery from my mind…

Okay, I’m having blogging withdrawals so, unless you don’t want me, I’ve agreed to write for BBBlogger’s Big Brother Blog again this year. With my two moves and my two jobs, I didn’t think I’d have time (I really don’t, but what the heck!).

I read everyone’s comments. According to Rachel and Brandon’s FB pages, they are in Costa Rica currently. Also, they are in the process of buying a house in the Los Angeles area. I don’t think either of them will be on BB this season, but probably will show up to host something or other.

I have a friend that made it to the final cut for BB14, but unfortunately, he didn’t get on. I’m so bummed! It would have been fun to watch someone I know on the show.

The contestants are currently in sequester for the show. All the commercials show old house guests because current house guests aren’t in the house yet. I’m not quite sure of the exact date, but I’ll look for that.

Thanks for the pics K11. Looks like the house got it’s yearly splash of paint, new carpet, new roll of wallpaper, and a few trips to Ikea. Looks good though. 😀

I have heard of this “Corner Office” person in past years. And this person was no shill at all. It’s rumored that this person is very closely connected with the show.. and from the “rumors” I’ve seen in the past from him/her, I have no doubt they have the inside scoop. I had totally forgotten about that name till you mentioned it. I’d pay attention to what “Corner Office” has to say.

The only (big) question is….. Is This “Corner Office” the same as That “Corner Office”?

Time will tell…..

Does seem there’s credibility to this Corner Office thing as why would it be pulled down unless it was a threat to someone (CBS)? If it was pumping out crap then no one would care right because the big-wigs would know it was crap. Plus, with the House upgrade picture out,, that’s one thing they nailed. Wish I would have wrote all them down. Did save as “Favorites” on Twitter but when an account is removed, so are all its contents. Glad I blasted some out on last BBBlog story posted.

Anyway, so much happens in a day it’s embarrassing. Here’s what else I’ve stumbled across but remember it’s simply me writing (and conveying to you guys) what others are posting.

Some think the 4 mentors thing is right on (commercial, “four big surprises”) and that Corner Office said that and named Mike Boogie, Janelle, Rachel an Dan Gheesling as the four.

Dan has denied it on Twitter but if he was a Mentor, contractually he couldn’t say so. Makes sense he’s in as people loved him. And on Twitter today there is a huge buzz about Janelle who Tweeted she is headed to Greece I think. Here’s where it gets good.

She Tweeted a picture (which has been deleted; Friend did it? Screwed up?) of supposedly her body with a purse saying she was at the airport headed overseas. But some crack BB fans found the picture posted online from 2010 so she was busted on that. Then she just Tweeted she’s not going to let BB fans make her crazy or something and also said she had a connecting flight in Rome which someone else researched and said there are no connecting flights from Rome. Watergate-like silliness, eh? I think she’s back as a mentor. Where there’s smoke there’s fire and if you are at the airport, why not simply show your face in the photo? No need to cover-up if you have nothing to hide…

As far as other new shit I’ve heard of and postulated, many think there will be 4 evictions opening night. They think the show will start with 18 and quickly pare down to 14 (notice there are only 14 picture slots on the photo wall).

Another rumor floating about is a Survivor-type twist. Some say a “Redemption Island” like reality where mentors can be saved or something. I would love to see an Immunity Idol-type Golden Save thingee hidden in the House and if I were there I’d try and look through all those shoes on that wall (especially a sole that may detach) late at night when no one was looking. If the HGs are in sequester, and I imagine they are now, they have no idea that there is a shoe wall there so wouldn’t have a preconceived idea to look there yet. Probably grasping at straws, but I’m unsure if I like knowing all this ahead of time and knowing there are likely four mentors and who they are sort of ruins the fun. No wonder I loved being computer-less. If only people looked into that Wall Street mess or 9/11 like we/they do BB BS maybe we could have prevented some nastiness here in the US.

Was thinking about the mentor ting last night (yeah I’m a lonely old dor for doing so) and I’m not sure I’m digging the thought of past HGs talking (and coaching) new ones. Have to see what role they play but for purists like us JT, I’m queasy about someone actually BEING IN THE HOUSE who isn’t a player, has influence and can’t actually win. Maybe Alison Grodner thinking too much but too late to pull bck on this one. We’ll see.

Also think those Media Day photos wouldn’t have been leaked by CBS unless someone didn’t want them leaked. And no harm, no foul. Just a funky looking House which needed a remodel. Feel CBS trying to create a buzz–and by God they’ve certainly done it–but, as always, for us it will come down to how good the show ends up really being and I know everyone here will be critical, and rightfully so, if it isn’t.

I know I’ll watch every episode and drown myself in BBAD but still not going to get those Live Feeds I see being hawked by every Twitter account associated with BB. And it’s mad crazy how many there are. I think I Follow 10 as of today—more than all the professional sports team I Follow of Twitter combined. And will stay off this Blog (and Twitter) when the show is on as I want to be surprised and enjoy it. Would have killed me to know Jordan beat Natalie ahead of time on BB11 and I remember how pumped I was when she overcame the odds and won. Wish she would have WANTED to be there last summer. Kept saying it was like a vacation and a way to spend time with Jeff. Houseguests should be there to play and give it their all. Would love it it they had like 16 of us from here in it who understand the game, its context and aren’t simply there to get face time and further they careers which seldom amount to anything anyway. I remember Enzo thinking that whole Bridage thing was going to make those three famous and loved by all (BBAD) but in reality, BB is just a show WE love that not many watch (14 million max?) and winning a reality show like this does have a context the Houseguests lose sight of as many are SuperFans like us.

Need to remember to write shorter posts this Summer. But wanted to get all that stuff I heard in last 12 hours to you. Janelle: busted. Still love her though. And would love to see Dani back in some capacity. Peace.

JT (The Poster Formerly Known As The Man On The Bathroom Door): Seems that Corner Office credible. Why delete a Twitter account unless it was true? No one would care if you were posting crap but the Truth? That’s a different story. And the House re-do rumor he/she had was true. Wish I wrote down all they had written but glad I posted it here on the BBBlog’s previous story.

Seems the rumors of 4 Mentors holding water. Mike Boogie, Janelle, Rachel and Dan Gheesling seem to be the one’s have heard about most. Would love to see Dani though.

On that Mentor front, Janelle said today she is flying to Greece with her husband and Tweeted a photo of a purse (which has been deleted) without her face in it (in sequester sister?). Someone found that photo online from 2010 and busted her on it. She (or a friend?) then Tweeted she wasn’t going to let the crazy BB fans get her down and said she was waiting for a connecting flight from Rome. Another sharpie said there were no connecting flights from Rome. Remember that song “Lies, Lies, Lies” yeah? Hmmmm.

Another interesting rumor is of a Survivor-like twist in the House. Either a Redemption Island-like reality (some suggesting to help Mentors) or my idea that there may be a Hidden Immunity Power (like the Survivor Immunity Idol) hidden in the House. I’d be looking through that wall with the shoes (in the soles) when nobody was awake.

After looking at those Media Day photos, I noticed 14 photos slots on the Picture Wall. Some think 18 HGs come in and 4 get Das Boot on Opening Night. Won’t be here or on Twitter then as I want to be surprised. Would have hated to know Jordan beat Natalie ahead of time. Post it Bubba….

Now seeing my long-ass post I though was lost before. Need to re-remember how this all goes sometimes. And to write shorter.

Funny how Big Brother seemingly has a preseason now. No one sharper than BB fans. And funny how (rumored Mentors) Janelle and Rachel (Costa Rica?) have planned “vacations” right when they would be in Sequester. CBS doing too much thinking. And love Janelle, but whoever’s doing all these photos on her Twitter account is doing her (and BB) no favors).

Still unsure if I like the Mentor thing and Rachel “being on my TV—ED” a third straight season. At least if she is, maybe she won’t feel the need to be so mean or cry so much in that new role. But still…really? BB12, BB13, TAR and BB14? Did she make a pact with the Devil or something?
