BLEH!
I was really hoping that the plan this week was to backdoor Audrey. Because, seriously, Audrey is annoying. She’s playing the game hard and you have to respect that but she’s doing so with a humorless intensity that really is not a lot of fun to watch. The ideal Big Brother mastermind is someone who is smart, strategic, and who has a good sense of humor. (Dr. Will, for instance.) Audrey, on the other hand, seems to think that the best way to win this game is to bludgeon everyone into submission. (That’s the Frankie and Amanda approach all over again.) Sometimes that strategy works but it’s still not a lot of fun to watch.
Anyway, as we all know from either watching the live feeds or reading the comments or doing a google search on “Who won the POV?,” dentist John has won the POV. Yay! Because, seriously, I would never want John near my teeth but he’s still entertaining to watch.
(One of the oddly endearing things about John is the fact that you can only understand every third word out of his mouth. Whenever I see him in the diary room during the CBS show, all I hear is, “Jkkyryejey hjeithehteed pawn gjtyueryhy ohihthenendd block ituehthee uyue veto!”)
So now, with John set to veto himself, it seems like the perfect time to backdoor Audrey, right?
Nope!
See, Shelli is the HoH this week and Shelli is incapable of thinking for herself. Shelli is in her 30s and claims to run a successful business but she is so infatuated with 21 year-old Clay that she’s basically allowing him to run her HoH.
Don’t get me wrong. Clay is nice to look at. I’m all in favor of Clay never wearing a shirt in the house and I’m glad that the rest of the nation is getting a chance to see what I, as a resident of Texas, get to see on a daily basis. But, Shelli, sweetie — he’s just not that into you!
But anyway, Clay doesn’t like Da’Vonne and he’s fairly loyal to Audrey so guess who Shelli’s target is this week?
That’s right, Da’Vonne. And I know that a lot of people don’t like Da’Vonne. She does tend to lose her temper too quickly and she is dramatic but her diary room confessionals are a lot more entertaining than Audrey’s. If anything, she certainly seems to have a better understanding of the people in the house than Audrey does.
But, Da’Vonne is Clay’s target and that makes her Shelli’s target. Shelli is going to nominate Liz as a pawn. Personally, I’m still hoping that all of this will lead to Julie accidentally calling Liz by the wrong name at some point during Thursday’s show. Anyone who has watched Big Brother over the past few seasons knows that it could definitely happen!
As of right now, it appears that Da’Vonne’s day are sadly numbered.
(Personally, I just can’t wait to see Shelli’s reaction when Clay inevitably hooks up with Liz following Thursday’s show.)

I think it would be so fantastic if Clay started a bromance with Liz! Think about it! Would Clay be able to tell the difference between the twins? Especially if he got up close and personal? If he did discover the ‘twin twist” it could jeopardize the twins lasting until the fifth eviction! Interesting concept! I want Audrey to go next! She gets on my last nerve! I am not that fond of Da ‘Vonnne, but as you mentioned, Lisa, she is a lot more interesting to watch than Audrey. Maybe Shelli and Clay will have a traumatic falling out! We can hope! Until next Thursday’s eviction anything can happen! We’ve seen it before! Always ” expect the unexpected!!!” 🙂

i don’t know what kind of game Audrey is playing with all her alliances. Da is hot tempered but entertaining. I wasn’t crazy about the group last year and I’m not sure yet how I feel about this group. I finally found POP TV and can watch after Dark. It is channel 100 on Comcast I throughly enjoy your info Lisa, good job.

Really think Da’Vonne will be the one leaving and she is annoying but hope someone real soon gets the right idea and send Audrey packing. What is her problem? She always has her fingernails in her mouth, Grosses me out. She also thinks no one else has a brain but her.

I have a feeling the 7th phone call twist will send Liz home. If Dayvonne answers it, she could prevent Clay, Audrey and another from voting, then work her magic and tell the others how much of a “big move” it would be to show Audrey she is not running the house. I personally am not a fan of Day, but I think she can pull it off, and I certainly would appreciate her doing so.

I don’t have After Dark this year. Nor do I have DVR (I lost my job over a year ago and in the interim, I’ve become disabled, so no income) Things are pretty tight around here. All I can do is watch the CBS edited BS when I’m feeling up to sitting and watching TV for an hour. I’ve missed 2 shows so far (what I wouldn’t do to have my DirecTV and DVR back!!). However, from what I’ve seen, Audry is a witch–with a capital B. She really needs to go.

well I’ve changed my mind about Meg.. I guess they are just ALL told to be loud and over the top when the show is live but in watching the live feeds you see a more normal and likeable group of people. So now I like Meg. And I like Liz and the whole twin twist .. so hoping neither one of them get evicted! not really disliking anyone that much at present now that they evicted Jace so not sure who I wanna see go.

Personally, I like Meg. And I like Steven. I liked Day initially, but I’m already tired of all the drama.

Applepie 62, I am unable to get BBAD also, however, you can watch the previous day’s episode on YouTube. Just search for “BBAD 17 on Youtube.” They have 7 episodes so far. I watched episode 7 today and it was really good. The HG’s were practicing for a talent show. I especially enjoyed watching Steve and Jackie practicing a dance routine. He is so cute!! Hey everyone!! Just some of my recent observations! LOL
Jeff keeps talking 50 miles a minute and he’s trying to get a solid 5 person alliance now and bring in two more later. Then they’ll have the numbers…..Yeah, right…until he finds out about this week’s twist which will negate three houseguests vote. I don’t think they get to vote at all, but not sure how CBS has that set up! LOL Anyway, Jeff needs to quiet down or he’s going to lose his voice!!
I don’t think they had the VETO MEETING yet because they were still discussing replacement nominees! I sure hope they don’t put Liz up because I think Da will turn the house upside down trying to get votes! They might put Meg up because she’s not going anywhere. Or Becky maybe!! Or split the house by putting Audrey up!! She’s a real talker and schemer…IMHO!!
In my eyes, right now Jeff’s trying to run the show from behind the scene and talking way too much…don’t know if he’ll be able to keep all his stories straight!! LOL. He DEFINATELY feels threatened by Austin and wants him gone sooner than later!

I have a lap dog that freaks out with the fireworks and especially the thunder. I think she needs puppy valium!! She shakes like a leaf from head to tail….it scares me because I’m thinking she’s going to hAve a heart attack!! LOL!!

Thank you Annie! We are still cooking, baking, and candy making! I have really enjoyed blogging on here this year. There is a lot going on in the BB house to comment about. The alliances are more diversified this season. Last year, the alliances involved too much bullying and drama, and, of course Frankie! I like this year’s players better. I watch BBAD on YouTube and really enjoyed episode 7. The houseguests were rehearsing for a talent show. I especially enjoyed watching Steve and Jackie. There is a lot less drama, which is okay with me. I look forward to tonight’s show, even though Sunday shows are not that exciting. Be back later! Have a great day! 🙂
