Big Brother 17: I Can’t Wait Until It’s Thursday!

Haven t written all season but you as i was reading…i found myself at number one and couldn’t help myself! Love the blog! Bye Vanessa!

I have to admit, I love it when a plans comes together. Finally, I am starting to notice Becky as a player and a person who sticks to a plan. Yes, its time for Vanessa to go.

Finally the “other” side of the house is in control and playing a good game. This is the BB I love.

I won’t get my hopes up until the blade drops on her neck on Thursday.

I’ve had my hopes of eviction of houseguests going home ruined by my wishful thinking. So I too will have to see what happens on Thur. But the question remains who might be next if there is a double eviction? Steve seems to be my choice as he’s to much of a floater and who knows what house side he may align with. Thanks LM insightful as always.

Will Vanessa wear her ratty hat on eviction night? Will be happy to see either witch go home. I agree Star, Steve is just a wimp.

Did I hear Shelli correctly a couple shows ago, when she said that her and Clay were going to NYC to visit Meg? Wonder if that will happen after Shelli reviews the season?

Getting down to BRASS TACKS, I think SchizoNessa will be driving ALL the other HGs completely BONKERS with her attacking each and every one of them in her drooling, speed-stuttering attempt to blame and bash everyone in the BB hizzy but herself for her predicament.
If Steve-0(zero) throws HOH I hope he’s double evicted toot-sweet, and I hope WrestleMANIA and the Whiner-Twins get evicted next, nexter, and nextest.

@Kev…….love the toot-sweet and the next, nexter, nextest!! lol Love plying with the English language!! I agree about Steve-o!!! I am SOOoooo tired of him and his very unearned, inflated ego and sense that he is the MAN in BB gameplay!!! When you lose your virginity and move out of mommy’s, house you might be a man! But you got NO game boy!!!(pun intended!!)lol At least Aus and the twins try to play and have been involved in pretty much everything. I would much rather see Steve go in the Double evict….esp. if he does throw the HOH comp again!!! He creeps me out way more than Austin does!!!!

As for whoever is unlucky enough to come back into this den of vipers, good luck!!! You are gonna need it!!lol I don’t think anyone who has ever come back in hasn’t been the house target and almost always is GONE the next week!! Not my fav twist. They really need to get some new ones and quit trottting out these time worn tricks!!

I concur Star. I believe that was part of her downfall as well. She thought as long as I stab you in the front it’s ok and we’ll all be happy and nobody will ever dare come after the great and powerful Vanessa. I always knew that was never going to work and she should have too. Watching her true colors shine is both great and horrible all at the same time.

Brave and daring Becky must once and for all realize that she can trust NOBODY in the Big Brother House but herself. Pussy head James now wants to keep Vanessa since he fears Shelli more than Vanessa since he was responsible for Clay’s eviction. Apparently Jame’s balls got extracted in his have-not dental chair.

Junkies…..maybe they need to switch the vote. Shelli is more of a threat than Vanessa at this point. She’s being all nice and sweet to every one(sucking up). She’s won several HOH comps and is shrewd and cunning. I’ve heard her talking hard game in the past….and now she flitting around the house like she doesn’t have a care in the world! She has totally changed since Clay is gone! She’s no dummy, she knows what she is doing!! LOL!! Letting her know she was safe was not a good idea….I would have liked to see them both scared out of their wits not knowing where the ax was going to come down on!! LOL!! Good drama…once,again denied!!

Steve should be lobotomized after even CONSIDERING not using the Veto!! That’s really dumb….not much upstairs…maybe he’s semi-autistic (I don’t know if that’s even possible! LOL !).. I definitely think he has ADHD and is probably on meds. His actions when alone are freakish! LOL! I do feel sorry for him though. Wisdom teeth erupting is a painful process…I hope they give him antibiotics and something for pain!! I hate to see anyone suffer like that. I do have a heart but the boy’s got marbles in his brains!! Watch him win it all!! LOL!!

Oh hey. Does anyone know who the have nots are this week? I can’t tell…..everyone seems to be eating something! LOL! I just don’t know what! I did hear that Austin is going to be Liz’s soux chef because she was on slop last week. Now that’s true love, eh? LOL!!

Both Shelli and Vanessa need to go…this week would be an excellent time for that wish to come true…since we have a DE on Thursday evening…both are in my opinion strong convincing players that that can make HG’s see their way and change votes…if we get both out…the door is open for any of the others to jump in and take 500000.00…James and Becky are now starting to play the game…Austin is just enjoying his summer with itme and bitme…Steve is just plain old Steve…Jackie is showing some signs of knowing how to play the game…and Meg…well she just likes to smile all day and agree with everyone…so if Shelli and Vanessa go hiking this week the door is wide open…is Shelli stays she is the leader to win it all…just my opinion…

I am wondering how Vanessa is going to feel about the way she has been acting in the BB house when she gets back to the poker table with all of her poker pros; especially Annie Duke. There’s no crying in poker!! 🙂 She better hope they don’t watch BB. I am sure they know she is on the show since it has been her dream to be on BB for a long time. She will probably tell them it was her strategy!! I am sure she will be on YouTube again!

Are they thinking of keeping Vanessa now? …………………………….

Hi everyone, just checking up.

I just read that last night James, Meg, and Jackie were deciding to keep Vanessa and vote
out Shelli, as she is the bigger threat to their game. Are you kidding me??? Vanessa is much
more of a threat than Shelli. Shelli has no control over others in the house. Vanessa still
does. I hope Becki realizes her faith in this group of morons is misplaced. To go against
her plan that she brainstormed so hard on is not going to go over well with her. (At least
I don’t think she’ll take it well, but with this group….who knows?) James is still fuming
over the house not doing what he wanted last week, and how he gave up $5,ooo and a trip.
Get over it , James!! That was last week, and it was your decicion to do that. No one twisted
your arm to make that move. It amazes me how these people make decisions then want to
blame others and seem puzzled as to how it turned out.
James is fuming, also, over Shelli going through his clothes and taking back Clay’s things
that were left behind. Can’t figure out how Clay’s clothes would have fit him anyway.
Vanessa not understanding how or why she was put on the block is a prime example of
unrealistic thinking about how the game is played, and how people really see them. She
doesn’t believe she’s a threat?? Really???
I think one of the biggest mistakes made this season is the constant trying to get big al-
liances going. Then they don’t stay loyal and start others. Big alliances never work out. It’s
the smaller group that mixes with the others, but are constant in their loyalty to each other
that make it to the end. Did they watch past seasons? Did they not retain or understand
what they saw?
Another mind blowing thing is the way they think they are viewed by America. It is never
like the reality of viewers opinions about them.
Am looking forward to seeing BB tomorrow night and hoping editing isn’t as bad as it’s
been all season. Then woohoo, Thurs. night’s eviction should be a good one. I am the eternal optimist!!!

I’m with you sherry, Beckie needs to reconsider her trust in James, Meg and Jackie if they go against Beckie’s unwavering decision to vote out Vanessa and boot Shelli instead. In fact, should Pussy head James and his two-fold “sleeper” cell betray Beckie, my hope is that Beckie can survive the double eviction and come back with a fury and win ever comp as needed to eliminate the three of them, one by one, just for PERSONAL reasons!

Yes, Bob it’s true!!! The last I read last night was that the Goblins were talking about keeping Vanessa. Off to bed I went thinking when the sun rose they would see the light and stick to the plan. Ha!…and the BB roller coaster rolls on!!!

Junksies: I guess I’m wrong, but I think Vanessas is better at comps that Shelli. Shelli
is better at endurance comps, but Vanessa is better at mental comps. I guess they both are threats, but to me, Vanessa is the greater, because she is able to rally the troops which Shelli fails at miserably. She has more authority over Steve, Austin, and the twins than does
Shelli, I think. Then you add that Becki will be unhappy, to say the least, if they change her
plan….and the threat becomes greater. It is something that Vanessa could perhaps use to her advantage to put a wedge between Becki and the Goblins. But hey, that’s just my way
of thinking and not always accurate.

I’m back from getting a perm and am enjoying all of your blogs. Looking forward to seeing Vanessa’s face when she gets backdoored! I just hope the house will respect Becky’s decision to backdoor Vanessa. If they don’t, won’t this be the first time the house has gone against the HOH? I guess we will find out! 🙂

tendr: I have thought the same thing, but then I remember how all over the board these
guys have been. I definitely think they do a lot of playing around with the HGs minds in
the DR and a lot of editing to make certain characters seem better or worse than they
really are. But we are never able to prove just how much they have to do with any changes
or decisions made in the house. I can’t even figure out how HNs get chosen this year. I
see three, I see four, I see no one as a HN. And we, the audience, haven’t had the oppor-tunity to vote for anything yet this year. It’s been a strange season all around. I’m not
sure production even knows what’s going on,or if they know WTH they’re doing from one
minute to the next!!!

@Sherry – No rights or wrongs, just our opinions, but you are right that Shelli is better at endurance. It’s all good!!

@Star – I had some college but no degree. 🙁 Never a job hopper, I enjoyed multiple promotions within…one position as a skills instructor writing procedures manuals for both assembly and office administration for 2 employers. We have stuff in common…funny, I was a teacher/trainer but always wanted to be…get this…an interior designer!!! In the beginning, I was like cool!!!…I’m gonna root for Shelli cuz she’s an interior designer!!! That lasted about 2 minutes!! LOL

@tendr – I agree about production interfering(?). For instance, with James and the Goblins changing their mind about evicting Van….I was like…ahh ohh…production got to James!!!

Please if production reads these blogs and cares what the viewers want, please go back to square one and play the game the way it was meant to be played.

I don’t know how much more I can tolerate the Goblins. They are the text book example of
how power corrupts. I wish some kind of twist could be initiated to blow up their plans.
James saying, “I’d like to say to Shelli, Steve isn’t going to do you any good and say the
same to Steve.” They now want to target Becki and JM. This group of three doesn’t have
one drop of loyalty in any of them. Becki kept them safe this week, but now they’re getting
Austin, Vanessa, and the twins to side with them and work on getting JM out or Steve.
They will put Becki up on the block, but “have the votes to save her”. James is no longer
on my “like” list. He is on the same list as Meg and Jackie. Won’t mention what list that
is. They are so confident they have Vanessa in the palm of their hands. Good luck with that
one. Austin and the twins will float with the house, but aren’t comp threats. This coming
from Meg was laughable, if it wasn’t so pathetic. The only way she could win a mental
comp would be if she had the answers ahead of time. And even that wouldn’t be a given, if
she slept between times. As far as physical comps, she would have to have everyone agree
to drop out and let her have it….to win. I can’t believe I really liked her in the beginning.
But then I liked James for most of the game, too. Funny how a little power brings out the
true personality and inability to handle it with class with so many.
I was looking forward to Vanessa leaving and taking her emotional outbursts and constant
yammering with her. Now I have to look forward to more of the same. This game drives
me crazy!!!! And after re-reading my post….brings out the worst in me. Sorry for my rant.
