I’d go with James, Johhny Mac and Jackie. I didn’t like Jackie at first but I liked her by the time she was evicted. She played a good game at that point.
I didn’t watch Sunday’s show but I suppose I’ll watch the final. Only to see the ones I did like again.
Thank you Lisa for sticking it out even when this season became a disaster. I’m an optimist and hope for a better BB18 and I hope to see you all again blogging away.

Johnny Mac, Becky, Jackie (didn’t like Jackie at first but started to when she realized Vanessa had to go!)…. Becky had the guts to really try to get rid of her, but she couldn’t count on her peeps to be loyal….kinda blaming James & Meg for that one.

@ Darlene and @ dawfan63–they’d be the 3 I would have loved to have had around the house all summer long.
And @ Susan – I totally agree that I don’t believe for 1 minute that Steve can stand up to the pressure of evicting Vanessa (provided of course he doesn’t self-sabotage himself and lose Part 3). If he actually, by some miracle, does win and does evict, I’ll be the happiest I can possibly be under the circumstances. I would LOVE watching Vanessa run over to join the jury.
It’s not that I really care that Steve wins or that Miss Godawful Liz comes in 2nd. I am just plain FED UP & RESENTFUL of Vanessa.

I knew that would happen so I did some research to disclose the identities of the Liz supporters:

One was Sigfried who immediately became her best fan when she confused him with Sigmund Freud.

One was the deaf casting director who still thinks Liz has a sexy voice.

One is The Mayor of Miami who mistakenly gave her the key to the city in advance.

One is The Director Of Public Relations where Liz worked who had to put a positive spin on Liz, like her or not.

One was the person who picked Liz to win it all in the office pool with a $500 buy in.

Really, can you blame them, Lisa? 🙂

I watch the live feeds. OBVIOUSLY, you don’t! Just using the F word in its entirety for accuracy purposes so as not to soften Vanessa’s foul mouth every other word delivery in any way. So actually you best think again!

I’m with you sherry and others who would have liked to see Johnny Mac, James, and Becky as the final 3.

In the final HOH competition, I keep having this vision of a combination hunt for items while attempting to avoid the grasp of a swinging grapnel that in my preferred scenario, grabs Vanessa by her “oh so not cool hanging suspenders” on the first swing and drops out of the competition in the Studio 18 back lot, thus confirming that she gets to hear Steve’s well rehearsed eviction speech on Wednesday.

Well, as long as Sherry is here I don’t have to think! And this is getting scary. I pick James, tough competitor and entertaining, Johnny Mac, decent person, goofy, and never know if he is acting or really like that, and the third one is Becky because of her competitiveness and also being a good person from what little time she had to impress us. The nasty language and fowl vulgar talk don’t impress me. Marge, I agree with you also. It’s coming to an end and as bad as it was, I’m still going to miss this show.

Tomorrow night the Da’Vonney Awards…should add a little spice to BBAD. Tonight they got fixin’s for carmel apples…last night was cheese fondue. Vanessa is deep in thought…you can just see the dice rolling around in her head. For 3 days now Steve has been throwing out sexual inuendo left and right…even the ladies made mention of it being out of his character…humm..but is it really???? I think not…

I would not change anything and I’m counting on production to bring us a happy ending.

i still say after watching that show about a reality show sorta like the bachelor and how production controlled almost everything…..though it ended up in suicide there’s no doubt production isn’t involved. Even in the Au. BB….He talks to them and asks them questions that maybe at times gives them ideas…..it is fun to watch. anytime someone goes to what they would call the diary room, it’s a big chair talking to a male voice called Big Brother…and they whine and complain about the house guests for the silliest things….
He eats too much…..or someone is constantly correcting my english…i don’t like so and so following me around….some go in to cry and some go in to have bb ask them to play tricks on the rest of the house. anyway…..the US could learn something from their show though i had to get used to it..once i did, i couldn’t stop watching.

I don’t hate anyone in the game. i just don’t like them as the ppl i see..i don’t hate Austin, but i do think he’s a bit immature for his age and way to immature to be faithful to one woman.

@ Junksies….Well…….that’s interesting!!! (your last post) Alto I am not sure that I ever heard BB referred to as a Game show but as a reality show. When I think Game Show I think Jeopardy or Wheel of Fortune. And since no one is naive enough to believe that there is really much *reality* in Reality shows..aka any Housewife show……why do we naively think it of BB??? We all piss and moan about the one HG that appears to be Grodner’s FAV…..well, maybe before the show even airs, Production has determined the winner and is guiding them in that direction. Maybe they are even selected with that knowledge. We already know how much influence the DR has over the HGS. And I think they do the comps in the same order each year so they will all have some warning of what is to come and be able to prepare for them. Being human and especially being Americans, with our built-in sense of fairness and empathy for underdogs,we don’t WANT to believe that! We want to believe all if fair and square and everyone has a shot at the gold ring! Otherwise, why watch for 3 months and root for some and boo others and analyze in blogs like these???LOL If this got out, it would totally kill the premise and allure of the show. But I really think that most of us finally saw it this year. More than most. And have been disallushioned. I think after all these years, their thinly veiled secret is out. *Do not pay any attention to the man behind that curtain!!* It didn’t work for the Wizard of Oz and I don’t think it will keep working for BB either. They were renewed in 2014 for 2 more years…..this year and next. I have a feeling they may NOT be so fortunate again. But THEN what do we do????lol

@sherry and Junksies…thank you both for missing me! As I had said,I have just been really busy. But also, for the last 10 days to 2 weeks, I thought I was over whatever it was I had all summer. Well, it appears to be back. I called and got a Dr’s appointment for Thurs.(BTW..not with MY doctor. He only works there 2 days a week and is always booked out at least a month. I think I am going to switch!!) I am hoping I am over- reacting, and it IS just allergies. But having had them all my life and never like this, then my next theory is bronchitis or maybe even walking pneumonia . Hopefully nothing worse. But the not being sure is what is bothering me. I want answers more than anything. Since BB is over Wed, I can pop back in to let you know the results if you care to know. So I really haven’t been feeling up to posting. Plus, my style and Junksis are very similar. We are reporters. And there have been slim pickens in the house and Junksies pretty much covered them, so I was just reading. But I may as well hang in for the next few days and see it thru to the bitter en, eh??lol

As for my F3 pick, that’s hard as from Day 1, I said these HGS looked so bad and like none of them even watched BB a day in their lives!! No one ever likes the new HGS. But I just felt that these were going to be especially lame!!!lol I still feel that way. But I guess if i had to choose… James, JM and Steve also. I loved Mama Da and Jason, but I don’t think she would have ever made it very far…..too threatening…and Jason just wasn’t a good player. He’s a much better watcher!!! I could see Meg in the mix too, but she would end up being Brittany and gone out 4th.

Speaking of Steve…..Liz was filing her nails tonight and she asked him if he filed or cut his. He said he never heard of cutting them before he was in the house. And Austin had mentioned nail scissors and ….ditto!! This kid had so many firsts in BB it’s mind boggling!!! He hadn’t heard of fondue until they got it. He has experienced all kinds of foods, words, ideas you name it that most people would have years before this!!! I have heard of sheltered, but it’s like he was dropped from some foreign planet or some cave right into the BB house!!!lol SMH.

As to the girls gaining weight, I agree. In fact, the last 3 days they have gotten food from BB..or actually Orwell and US supposedly(I don’t remember being given any food choices to vote on!) and Liz said she as getting fat and that Austin wouldn’t even like her anymore! Then she went on and on about his perfect body!! GAG!!! And when they were eating the fondue and moaning over the cheese, Van said thy just ate 20 grams of fat!!!lol it’s definitely a girl’s diversion as Steve really hadn’t eaten any of it!!

To everyone too numerous to name…..I have read every post this summer even if I didn’t respond to all of them, and have appreciated all your comments! And of Course, Lisa’s blogs are the best!!! Can’t believe Wed nite, it’s all over. As ready as i am to move on and as much as this was so not my favorite year of BB, I will still miss it and you all and go thru withdrawl…lol

It happened again!! Have I been fired from BBBloggers??

@ Junksies ; on topic of Steve’s sexuality and him dropping hints such as the one to Johnny Mac that caught him a little off guard. I’m almost 95% sure he has a boyfriend outside the house and has been keeping it a secret from everyone including his mother. His conversation with Vanessa playing chess that was really low as for the microphones not to pick the voice up was that he lied on his application about it. And he wanted to talk to Vanessa when the show was over outside the house and my guess is on how to break the news to his family. His sexual orientation is his business but how he has evaded being made especially by Jason is amazing. When they played Spjn the Bottle, you would think if he had the chance to kiss any one of the girls he would be more than willing but he wasn’t. He didn’t even touch lips and pulled back as if to say eww!
@ Star; I love post that are so long that I have to scroll back up to see who posted it because I had already forgot. That means I really got into it! Good reporter.
I have done scenarios with Steve winning the 3rd Comp and taking Van, with Vanessa winning the 3rd comp and taking Steve and also with Steve winning and taking Liz and with Vanessa winning and taking Liz which changes the final jurors a little and also it changes a few of the jurors thinking if Vanessa wins and cuts Liz and takes Steve to f2. But all of my scenarios ends up with Vanessa losing. If Vanessa wins and cuts Steve she still gets his and Shelli’s vote but that’s all I believe. And Liz wins! If Vanessa cuts Liz, she ticks off Austwins, and only gets one vote from Shelli! Steve wins! If Steve wins and cuts Liz, he loses Austwins and Shelli and that’s all. Steve wins 5-4 in the closest one. And if Steve wins and cuts Vanessa as planned, Liz will get Austin, Julia, Vanessa and maybe Shelli’s and not sure if Vanessa might not vote for Steve even though he cut her. But either way, Steve would still win 6-3 or 5-4! Shelli is definitely a Vanessa fan. Becky is anti Vanessa and not that close to Liz, closer to Steve. Johnny Mac anyone but Vanessa and Steve is front runner. Julia, voting for sis or the one that didn’t cut her other 1/2. Meg/James is anti Vanessa and pro Steve with secondary Liz. Austin ? Well we know. Jackie, I believe she would be Steve first and Liz second. I can’t wait to see if I’m totally off base with my OCD at night! Does anybody know if the houseguest get paid while in the house before going to Jury house and if so how much and how much in jury house? If I remember right it’s something like $1,500 per week in jury per week, is that about right?

Good morning Junksies: That “in some measure predetermined” phrase and com-
paring it to wrestling makes my toes curl. There’s a huge loop hole in there for CBS
to squirm out of any responsibility for what normal people would call dishonest
practices. But the more money you have the more the law can be twisted to benefit
those who don’t deserve the protection.

I sure wish instead of the last few episodes of BB that drag things out to the point no one
is interested, they would do away with wasted time and speed the ending up. Then they
could take that air time to devote to getting all the HGs back together and letting us
find out what they think of the season.

Randy: Good post. I, too, asked about the money the HGs receive during the show, but
didn’t get an answer. I have heard in the past $1500, but wasn’t sure how accurate that
was. I’m pretty sure they are paid for every day they remain in the game. Jury is just an
extension of the BB house as far as pay goes. Once they leave the show, the pay stops. So,
if this is correct, then the winner not only gets the jackpot at the end, but pay for days
remaining in the game. Anyone know for sure how it works???

Regarding Steve’s sexuality, frankly I’m not sure it would make any difference to him whether he “cuddles” with a woman. man or teddy bear as long as Mommy approves.

@Sherry….It has been my understanding for the past few years that the final two winners do not get the stipend. You are correct they get paid the same in the jury as in the BB house.

I lost two posts this morning! I submitted the first one and it didn’t go through, so I arrowed back to my comment and pressed submit again! A message came up that I had already posted this. So, I went back, wrote the whole thing again and the same thing happened????

I’m sorry but the past few seasons (minus the hitmen, that was spectacular) have just sucked butt. It’s always the house vote or oh I don’t want piss so and so off or oh my god I’m an actual human being with an opinion and I’m not actually playing this game I’m just here to be here. That stuff pisses me off. I sent in a video to be on the show next year and I’ll be damned, if I get on, if anybody is going to tell me how to Win money. I don’t understand how we go from the great (my favorite “Chill Town”) to these crappy people. Play the damn game. Out of all of these HG I liked davonne and James. They were, mostly, honest and played their own game. Ugh. Why do these people have to suck so bad. I think next year BB18 should be rookies vs (the best) Veterans. They’ll show them how to actually play the game. I’ve been watching this show since season 1 and I have confidence in saying…. this was the worst season EVER!

My final three; James, Johnny and Meg. My pick for a winner in this threesome; James! Thank god this season is almost over, worse than watching paint dry! Though I think from a game perspective, Vanessa likely deserves to win, I would have to go with Steve.

OFF TOPIC @Jolee…did you go get vitamin D3 for mornings (5000)units daily forever AND some form of chelated magnesium such as magnesium malate, t a u r a t e or even citrate and take with dinner and at bedtime. 400-500 mg. a night. Also a 20 minute Epsom salt bath NO SOAP. And give it a few days to fill your tissues. ?????

@Judy I don’t agree with everyone else. I liked Becky John and I think Austin is handsome ‘if he’d shave his beard’ I’m not crazy about how Austin acts but I said my piece several times and then stopped… guess you weren’t in here early.

I too have tattoo’s and piercing so on but I’m not a part of any ‘group’ in fact I’m pretty much blamed for all kinds of blog rules only because I have an opinion just like everyone else but for some reason my opinion doesn’t do anything but cause people to leave. I swear I wish I had this super power with my ‘family’ it’s sad but funny in a pitiful way. I think if you’re ‘too nice’ or ‘joke around’ too much , you become a leper and apologies or trying to express yourself won’t be accepted. Thank God though… not everyone here is this way so please say how you feel. I’ve stopped hard core defending any players but I think giving your ‘liked or disliked’ is your right.

@JUDY, tell me who ‘the leader’ is.lol… if you mean Lisa Marie , I’ve never seen her put a blogger down for liking someone she didn’t care for. My favs have been Becky, JMc, and James grew on me. I commented on Austin’s butt several times and I could hear the puking all the way to Oklahoma. Jason reminded me of a little old Jewish grandma. Made me laugh but I didn’t think i’d enjoy John but he made me laugh and I saw how sweet he and Becky were with each other. JMO Okay…gagging can commence now.

@ Tendr..you are right, you did go against the grain also, several times. The whole tone of this blog has changed very dramatically from what is was several years ago.
