Big Brother 18: Where is Frank?

Hi, y’all!

As I sit here typing this at 12:14 a.m, Frank has apparently been in the Diary Room for over an hour.  The online speculation (and remember the HGs are not generally allowed to discuss either Diary Room visits or production on the live feeds) is that production is currently talking to Frank about some of his behavior in the house.

Right now, on social media, there’s a growing movement of fans who are demanding that Frank be expelled from the house.  Since this season started, Frank has made several sexist and misogynistic comments about the female houseguests.  After Thursday’s HoH competition, he smacked Zakiyah’s behind.  This is not the first time he’s done that and it’s something that he’s done to all the female houseguests.  It’s one of the main reasons why the two all-girl alliances cannot stand Frank.

Zakiyah was extremely upset, which led to Paulie trying to talk to Frank about it (and Frank replying that it didn’t mean anything, it was just the way he was raised) and Da’Vonne going into the Diary Room and formally complaining to production about it.

It’s strange to think that I initially thought Frank was more likable this season than he was during Big Brother 14.  Actually, he’s a hundred times worse.  He’s gotten so bad that I’m actually starting to wonder if maybe Mike Boogie was actually a good influence on him.

Anyway, I doubt Frank will be expelled from the house.  Though I will be curious to see if they’ll show his behavior on the CBS show.

As for what else happened in the house today … well, if you’ve been reading the comments, you probably already know.  But I’ll just make it official:

Bridgette, the HoH, did exactly what Frank wanted.  She nominated Paul and Tiffany for eviction.  Tiffany is the target and I have to admit that I’m surprised that they didn’t try to backdoor her.  At this point, Paul is used to being the pawn so he’s handling it pretty well.

Tiffany, of course, freaked out.  She went to bed and started crying.  And, to be honest, I’m tired of that.  Getting nominated is a part of the game that Tiffany signed up for.  If she’s not willing to get out there and campaign and fight to stay then she deserves to go just like Audrey deserved to go last season.  Tiffany has also been making a big deal out of telling everyone in the house that Vanessa is her sister.  I guess she’s trying to show that she’s honest but most of these newbie houseguests are recruits who barely know who Vanessa was.

Not only did Frank determine who Bridgette should nominate but he also won the roadkill competition.  He gave serious thought to nominating Da’Vonne but instead, he decided to go with Bronte.  Bronte will learn of her nomination tomorrow, before the veto competition.

(CORRECTION: Bronte apparently already knows that she’s been nominated but she thinks that Michelle did it.)

Right now, the Spy Girls are gathered in the HoH room and they’re talking about how they should do the opposite of what Frank wants and vote out Paul.  Bronte just told them all that she’s a mathematician in real life, which led to a lot of loud giggling and jumping up and down on the bed.  (They’re also passing around a big wooden spoon that Natalie claims has magic powers.)

(I get the feeling that Bronte is a mathematician in much the same way that Rachel Reilly was a chemist.)

Is it just me or are the Spy Girls perhaps the most annoying alliance in the history of Big Brother?  Bridgette and Bronte are talking about how this entire season is going to be all about “girl power.”  Okay, that’s great.  I’m all for that.  But if you’re the girl power alliance, then why are you letting Frank tell you what to do!?

At this point, the only thing that could make the Spy Girls more annoying would be if Liz and Julia Nolan suddenly entered the house and joined them.  And no matter how much the Spy Girls say that they’re going to go against Frank’s wishes, none of them are going to have the courage to actually do it.

In other words, Tiffany needs to win that POV if she wants to stay in the house.

Oh, Frank’s out of the Diary Room now.  He doesn’t appear to be too upset so who knows what happened in there.
