Big Brother 18: And your final three…

Hi, y’all!

Well, the highlight of tonight’s episode was definitely getting a look inside the jury house. It’s amazing that Natalie is even more fake as a juror than she was as a houseguest. (“I am so excited…” Sure you are, Nat.) Meanwhile, is anyone shocked that Zakiyah and Paulie are back together? We all knew that was going to happen.

I was skeptical when Big Brother promised us an “explosive” jury house confrontation but Paulie and Da’Vonne going off on each other was pretty explosive. Both Da’Vonne and Paulie have a very high self-regard and neither one is ever willing to back down from an argument. The bearded Big Brother security guard probably stepped in at exactly the right time.

Of course, once Da’Vonne was led out of the room, Bridgette tried to get some camera time for herself. The thing with Bridgette — and this was true in the Big Brother House and the Jury House — is that she’s only willing to speak up if someone else (like Da’Vonne) speaks up first. Bridgette tries to come across like this she’s tough and outspoken but we all remember how she let Frank run her HoH.

As for what happened in the Big Brother House, it was pretty much what we all expected. Paul did not use the veto. James cast the only vote and he sent Corey to the jury house. Corey kissed Nicole during his pre-eviction speech but after he was evicted, he seemed to specifically turn his head so she wouldn’t be able to get a second kiss.

(It’s funny that to think that, at the start of this season, everyone was convinced that this would be the Girl Power season of Big Brother.)

Paul

Nicole

James

That’s two veterans and Paul. There will be no more veto comps. The final three are now taking part in a three-part competition to see who will become the new HoH. The new HoH will be guaranteed a spot in the final two and will pick both the final juror and who he or she wants to compete with for the final prize.

They’re doing the first round of the competition right now so the feeds are down currently. When they come back up, we’ll find out who won the first part of the final HoH comp!

I can’t wait to see who wins part 1 of the competition! Paul annoys the crap out of me (ie drinking out of the Champagne bottle instead of pouring into flute like everyone else, ugh) but, I have to admit his game has been on point and I’m kinda rooting for him – despite how much he annoys me!

Sirrock September 15, 2016 at 11:24 am: Thanks you guys for taking the time to read Drew and his mom Pam’s story. It’s been such an emotional summer for everyone involved. Pam and Drew lose my brother, their lives are completely changed, then 10 weeks later, Drew has this horrible accident and now their lives are changed again. I was talking to Pam last night and she is so grateful to everyone. She said to me that she can’t even believe this is her life now, and I was just heart broken by that. If Drew had this accident and my Brother was there to help, it would be so much better….but that’s not the way things are. I’m just trying to honor my brother by raising money for them. It’s all just such a helpless feeling for all of us. This is the one thing I can do. And I’ve been messaging her letting her know who every person is that has donated, so she knows it my BB Blog family or my high school friends, or my coworker. I make sure she knows because I feel like I have to….and I want to. I want her to know you guys just a little bit.

Love love LOVED the jury house tension. Paulie hasn’t changed. What a wander. Still sporting that stupid haircut. Moron. I knew Zakiyah would be back with him but she held off longer than I thought she would. ArGonne was right. Paulie did make her look like a _____ idiot on national tv. At least Paulie and Corey can resume their bromance now. Hope Zakiyah doesn’t mind sharing.

Wow! The jury house encounter between Da and Paulie had me nervous that Da was going to slap Paulie upside his head! I have seen arguments in the jury house in past seasons but I don’t think I have ever seen it get so heated that security had to step upin! Those were some really intense moments!

I’m hoping Paul wins and boots Nicole. James is the Victoria of the season, but worse….because at least Victoria was loyal to Derrick. James hasn’t done squat all season and has flip flopped to different alliances. I don’t mind the flip flopping much, but just saying, he had zero game play this year. I mean, his ass would have been out of the house if Corey or Nic won the Veto. His BB life was on the line tonight more than ever and what did he do?? He didn’t study a bit, he stunk up that comp about as bad as you could, and depended on Paul to win by the skin of his teeth. Nice job James…..you stink at BB.

I was thinking the comp for the first part would be that one where they hang on the rope and get bashed into the padded wall over and over, then dunked into the cold goopy liquid. That was till I hit up Twitter just now and was reminded of the first part of the final HOH from BB16. It was that WALL COMP where they hung on to hang gliders. Hmmmm……a WALL COMP. Who’s good at WALL COMPS? Production, could you shed any light on who might be good at a WALL COMP? Oh yeah….the worst player still in the game…..JAMES!

Man, I really hope they don’t do that because it will just REEK of the dreaded words “production rigging” once again. Anyway, just thought it was worth bringing up.

SIrrock…. Not only has James flip flopped a kagillion times, I heard him talking to Paul and he had the nerve to say that about Nicole in a nasty way! Like he was totally innocent. He is kissing Paul’s butt so bad and bragging on how he (James) has played the perfect game. He says his strategy was lay back and hide in a showmance and throw comps. Personally I don’t think he threw the comps. I think he was just that incompetent! He said he based his strategy on Steve’s play from last year who said his strategy was to float to the end. He said if he was asked at the questions by the jury members he should tell them that floating was a strategy!!!! I don’t think he deserves to be in the final 3. JMHO

Loved the view of the jury house tonight!! I knew it wasn’t going to be paradise over there but expected it to be more the girls against Paulie. I KNEW Z would prolly crawl Back toHis lair but I didn’t expect to see the tempers to Be so hot in her direction. I think a lot of the girls… Especially Da… Felt betrayed. Never saw security there before tho! And they had to subdue the WOMAN!!! Lol
What is it with people lately in general? Tempers seem
High everywhere! Look at what happened on DWTS! Maybe it’s cuz it’s an election year? lol people in general
Have just gone nuts and have no boundaries. They all want attention and something to put on Instagram!!

I’m thrilled with F3. I want Paul and Nic in F2. They both played hard and as Paul said, have a 50-50 shot. And Kames deserves ZILCH! He played a horrible game by basically NOT playing!! I already have my 20 votes to Vic. Hopefully he’s s shoe in. He does deserve it.

I heard hint about the comp Tonight was MEOW! Does that mean the Meow Meow will be hosting it?? lol

As far as I can tell from listening to conversations between pUl and James and Paul and Nicole he seems to be saying the same thing to both of them. He is telling Nicole he wAnts to take her F2 and he is telling James the same thing. Anyone have any idea which one he is telling the truth to? He probably really doesn’t care he’s just covering his bases.

Tonight was no surprise! Since I’m not a Paul fan, I am sorry he won HOH! He could have injured someone the way he jumped up on everyone except Nichol! I thought James was going to fall over backwards and take Paul with him! That would have been interesting, especially if they had gotten injured!! Paul was genuinely emotional about winning a place in the final three. I too, thought he was very rude drinking the champagne from the bottle! Uggg!!!
Well, I am really going to miss this blog! I have become very fond of all of you! I will not be getting the All Access BB, so I will be depending on getting my information from here. I don’t know if YouTube will carry reruns of the weekly shows. If anyone finds out, please let us know. It’s almost over and I am sad that we may not see everyone here.

Star, doesn’t your cell phone have a microphone in it? I have an Apple iPhone and I can record my blogs from my phone! I usually use my Kindle because the screen is larger. I use my iPhone when I want to get fancy with images! 😊😊😊

I like being on the cell cuz of the emoticons and it word corrects better the this puter. But it is small and hard to read. And the thing I like better about being on my comp is that I can SEE everything!!! Lets me navigate a whole page. I definitely see an iPad in my future,…lol

Margie……it amazes me how much James has changed. IMO anyway. I really don’t care for him this year and he was my and Americas fav last year!! I don’t care for his cavalier attitude or how he’s so desperate for a girl that he let one treat him like crap!! And his talk about how being on BB gets you chicks and lots of SEX!! Just not how I saw James before.

And Paul….I hated him in the beginning!!! I voted him out every week!!lol I have come to really like his sense of humor and he ha really turned it up in the comps and proved himself!!!

And I’ve always like Nic as she is a fellow Michigander and how can you NOT like her?? but she’s started winning lately too, so they both belong in F2! I don’t even care which one wins but I think Paul will. I just don’t want James to get anything!! 😛 lol

I like Nic also. You and I are in the minority on this and I really don’t understand why. She can’t help her voice. I believe she is basically a nice, kind, little country girl trying to win $500K on a show she loves. She shouldn’t be faulted for that! I believe she deserves F2 even though she probably will not win because of the jealous bitches in Jury!

have irritated me through most of the season, but she came
on like gang busters when it really counted. I would have liked
her a lot more, though, if she’d been firmer in her decisions and
not gone back and forth so much….even after the decision
was made. I still think she needs some surgery on her nose to
cure her nasal tone, but nose surgery is no picnic.
James has been a huge disappointment. I think he’s in for a
real shock when he gets out of the house and finds out how
many fans he lost this season. I even think he will have an
even harder time finding girls who will date him. Actions and
words have consequences.

Thanks Lisa Marie for all your insight this season! The jury house peek was crazy! DaVonne is correct about Z, she looks dumb for getting back with Paulie. I feel she must really be in love with him because it has to be so uncomfortable for her being pulled between DaVonne and Paulie. She looked miserable when they were fighting.
About Paul and Nicole; is anyone else annoyed when he tells her to ” shhh” ? She doesn’t sound that loud, just excited. I am not a fan of Paul and this just bothers me along with the fact that he uses the f word constantly. If he is intelligent as he thinks he is, he should know it makes him look stupid.

I know I’m going to be the lone wolf on this but I would rather see Nicole and James in F2. I just can’t stand Paul. I can’t take the F bombs every two words. Plus I just can’t get over how him, Pauli, Victor and Corey talked about women when they had that all guys alliance thing. That for me is just an indicator of how someone truly is and I don’t want someone like that to win. Nicole got on my last nerve this year with all her Coreey stuff! Oh Corey your so smart, cute, handsome, etc… yuck. James, well yes I was disappointed in but at least he’s a nice guy. People may not like how he played the game but he made it to final 3 so obviously what he did worked. To be honest a part of me wished Day had popped Pauli one last night. He deserves it. I personally thought that Day had already said last time jury was shown that Z had gone back to Pauli so I guess I just already thought they were together. Anyway I think whoever wins the final HOH should take James because they’ll beat him. Nicole has garnered a lot of respect in the jury house so I think she’d give Paul a run for his money. James wouldn’t. If Nicole took James I think the same thing. I guess we’ll see what happens but I like the expect the unexpected aspect of the game. That would be unexpected from Paul if he took James. Nicole already told Corey the night before he left that she would take James and that was after she shook hands with Paul. Anyway I know this was long but life is hectic these days so if I get the chance to post I have to do all my thoughts cause who knows when I can get back.

Well said Sandra! I agree with you about everything! Paul lost my respect along time ago. I had to stop watching BBAD because of his foul mouth! When every other word is the “f” bomb, it really gets aggravating, especially since I rarely hear it in my life, and it sort of shakes my emotions when it’s used over, and over, and OVER!!!! And if they don’t use that word, it’s “like, like, like, LIKE!!”

I think it is obvious that we have a lot of differing opinions on how we feel about the houseguests and who should take who to the final 2 and how the votes will go. That’s part of the fun here. I get my own ideas and then I read what others think and second guess my feelings. Sometimes they change and sometimes they don’t. I love that no one gets rude or hateful because we don’t all agree. I was disappointed when Victor was evicted. I am hoping Paul wins it all. You could feel his emotions. and how pumped he was to win HOH and then the Veto. Good for him. I think the Bromance between Victor and Paul was very genuine. I think their friendship will definitely continue after the show. They both look like they come from loving families, and will welcome both guys as new members of their families. I was always impressed with Victor how he didn’t get rattled. Both Paul and Victor’s problems were they were very trusting of others. Hope Victor wins the America’s Favorite and takes a little more cash home with him.

Jolee and Sandraft. I totally agree with both of you! I don’t mind at all being in the minority. I have never liked Paul. I so wish he had been been gone weeks ago! I don’t want him to get one thin dime!

Macy and Janna …. I’m here! I’ve been watching the feeds. James is super confident he has final 2 in the bag but according to the whispered conversations between Paul and Nicole that’s a misplaced feeling! Neither of them plan on taking him that far I am so excessively happy to hear.

James has been talking to America and hinting that he would love the votes for AFP. He told Paul he wants to be able to call Brittany after the season and say ‘want to compare popularity’. The little turd. 💩. 😺

Okay I’m going to put this out there and see if I’m the only 1 that picked up on this. I think Cory is gay. Honestly I thought I caught on to him saying something about Victor and Paulie being hot back when the new season started like the 1st or second night. I have been watching him how he acts around Nicole and he just isn’t that committed at all. He is so goodlooking it wouldn’t surprise me at all.
