Big Brother 18: Is Another Betrayal In the Making?

Hi everyone!

Well, there’s not much to report today. The game is coming to a close and, for this week anyway, the alliances are pretty much set in stone. Victor is the HoH. James and Natalie are on the block. James was originally the target but now it appears that Natalie is going to be sent to the jury on Thursday. As of right now, it still appears that this will be a blindside.

Nothing’s really changed. In fact, it appears that the houseguests are sleeping later and later. This happens every season of Big Brother. Towards the end of the game, people run out of things to talk about and do. People start to get bored with each other. And so, the live feeds are suddenly full of people either snoring or wandering around aimlessly.

However, things might change after Thursday. Up until earlier today, I was pretty much assuming that the Final Four Alliance of Victor, Paul, Nicole, and Corey was totally set in stone. I figured that Natalie would be voted out on Thursday and then James would go next week and the rest of the game would pretty much depend on who won HoH after James left.

But now, it’s looking as if that might not happen!

Earlier today, Nicole was talking to Corey. They were talking about who their ideal final three would be. And both of them agreed that they would want James to be a part of their final three! As usual, Nicole was the one directing the conversation so it’s possible that Corey was just agreeing with her because that’s what he always does. But, to me, it sounded like Nicole was pretty obviously thinking about betraying Paul and Victor during the upcoming week.

It wouldn’t be difficult, of course. Nicole and Corey have said that, if one of them wins HoH next week, they’re going to nominate James and Victor for eviction. If either James or Victor wins the veto, Paul will be the replacement nominee. It wouldn’t be hard, at all, for Corey and Nicole to spend the week saying that they’re going to vote out James, just to suddenly pull a fast one and evict either Victor or Paul instead.

During their conversation, Nicole told Corey that he and James were her two favorite guys in the house and that she actually feels that either she or Corey could actually beat James in a final two situation. Paul and Victor, they both agreed, would be far more dangerous to beat.

So, was this idle talk or was it a sign of yet another betrayal in the making?

We’ll find out soon!

Awesome once more, Lisa! I describe the whole day in the house in one word – boring. But you come up with several complete paragraphs!
Interesting that when James betrays someone he gets raked over the coals. If Nicole does, it’s strategy!

I think the next houseguests’ voices should be held to a decibel level so next season there are no squeaky, whiney voices.

Lisa. The way I heard it was that Nic said she Thot that both James or Corey could beat her in F2 but doesn’t seem
To care. The entire jury, save for Paulie, is women that hate her for one reason or another. You need 5 votes to win BB and I don’t think she could possibly get them at this point. True as that is, she still seems ok with it. Huh? I actually Thot she was stepping up her game and going to go for it!! I’m sure she could use the money. And otherwise why did she come back? Just to get aBF?? There are less time consuming ways of doing that!! Lol. But it appears she’d be ok helping James and Corey right to the end and her share of the money!’

She also asked Corry if he’d be mad at her if, towards the end, she had to evict him. He said in a slightly kidding tone that he’d never speak to her again!! Except I don’t think he was kidding at ALL!!

But I do think she is dead serious about turning on V&P. She and James had a F2 at the very beginning. Maybe they have been keeping it real all along!!! I would love to see Corey get the boot and those two end up together on finale night!! America would go NUTSO! Lol.

Also on BBAD while Corey did push ups and talked fame after the game with the guys Nic was in bed going over days by herself. I think we are about to get some big surprises in the days ahead !!📅🗓

Princess September 7, 2016 at 2:45 pm: Stra, if Nicole is truly resigned to the idea she can’t win (and let’s face it, there’s always a spark of hope, it’s human nature) she still gets $50k as the runner up. That’s not nothing to someone her age who probably has student loans.

That being said, I’ve been over Corey since he walked into the house. Their conversations are usually Nicole monologues with the occasional uh huh and whatever from Corey. I sometimes wonder how supposedly college educated men cannot string a complete, coherent and original sentence together. But our Corey manages to do it on a regular basis.

By breaking the Natalie/James alliance, Nicole has almost guaranteed Victor a final 3 spot. Although he doesn’t know the game, Paul has been coaching him on memory and I’m sure production has given him a nudge in that direction. Good luck, Nicole. Your paranoia and double-dealing may cost you any chance of a final two spot, although personally I’d like to see Nicole and James at the end.

Oh please Mary B. I can’t stand anymore of the executives all night on BBAD. I’ve gotten to where if Paul is involved at all in a conversation I fast forward thru him. I just can’t take his F this and F that every word he speaks. I’m not a prude when it comes to language but really get a vocabulary. Nicole’s whiny voice saying Coreeey all the time is wearing on me too. Natalie is acting like a spoiled brat ( which she is ) and blaming James for everything when she should be thanking him for carrying her bratty rear end thru the whole game. Honestly James is the only one I can stand. I kinda think last night that he might be starting to play the game some and dumping that albatross he has around his neck. He was telling everyone how bad Nat was treating him. Lol it was the only good part about last night. I really think that Nicole will take James to F2 if given the chance and I think Paul and Vic are going to turn on Nicole and Corey before James. Everyone thinks they can beat him but what they are underestimating is that he’s the most likable out of the bunch. The only one that I think would beat him in the F2 is Victor. So people better get to thinking about who they want to sit next to at the end. I think Vic takes Paul no matter what. He’s the Derrick this year. Anyway that’s my two cents and my rant for the day. Gosh I hope BBAD gets better. Thanks for the update date Lisa. I really appreciate them and look forward to them each day.

Thanks Lisa ~ I do believe James and Nichole did have a plan between them for the Final 2 James would win ~ on another note I think Victor should win he fought hard to get back in the game. If he would go up against James, I think James would win. If victor and Paul would go to the F2 I think Victor would win. If Victor and Nichole would be F2 Victor would win. If Victor and Corey go to the F2 I think Victor would win. We shall see soon 🙂

I really can’t wait for Ratalie and Nicole to GO! Both are soooo annoying. They should have given Nicole a bit of cheese with that red wine last night?!? Corey and Paul need to GO! I doubt this will happen but having James and Victor go to the final 2 would be interesting. 😉
Ratalie is quite pathetic…always trying to be something she is not (too many stories rather “fairy tales” about her “beautiful life”?!?

There has been talk all season long on some Twitter sites that James and Nicole have had an alliance that began before they got in the house. I’ve never really seen any real evidence of it in the house, like them talking solo about being F2’s and such, but just thought it was worth sharing now…..since it seemed James was dead and now he will most likely stay.

MargieP: Thanks for the updates. I’ve been off and on for the past
few days due to so much going on in my life right now. But Direct
was installed today and will be watching BB tonight. Dish got it
back two days ago, but too late for me.

Nat is such an insecure, little biache who turns into an uglier
person when thwarted. I hope she is as nasty as possible to James,
so he won’t feel bad when she’s gone. He needs to see the true
person we’ve been watching all season.

I admire what Vic has been able to do with winning comps and
coming back after being evicted twice. But I still have a problem
with allowing anyone to come back after twice being evicted. To
have that person win the entire game fills me with mixed emotions.

I’ve been thinking about a James and Nicole deal hatched from the
beginning. They both played an under the radar game this season.
They both became tight with an opposite sex partner. There are
some similarities in their game play or defined for most of the season…lack of game play. Or so it seemed. I sense a loyalty there that has survived, but could be wrong. It won’t be the first time. LOL.

Speaking of Nat…I’m listening to Nat and James right now and she is planning a horrible speech tomorrow night. She plans to dog everybody ESPECIALLY Nicole. She said she came into this game too nice a person and had to put up with blab blab blab balb. Just fill it in it’s the same old crap she has been saying all week. James says yes baby you were too good for this mean old game but I’ve tried to protect you from the evil people in the house!!!! Meaning Nicole and Corey. She has a deep hatred for Nicole. It makes no sense. James is encouraging her to say those ugly things to Nicole. She said she is going to present her speech in a clear cut professional way. Lol. 😈
James is acting all tough saying he protected her all season from going on the block. No one would dare cross him! lol

I kind of agree with you about Vic being evicted twice and still being allowed to come back. I really don’t think it was fair to have that many chances to get back in.

Let me start by saying something nice about Nat. Tonight she
looked pretty, and she seems to have regained her figure back.
Maybe Dish made her look fatter than she actually was.
Next: She amazed me at the comp. It would have been a nightmare
for me. I’m not good at that sort of thing. I would have made Nic
look like a mechanical engineer. Nat impressed me to the point of
believing I’ve underestimated her real intelligence.
Now…let me say…I gave up pageants because of the fakeness that
seems to be so much a part of pageants and the contestants. Tonight Nat reminded me of the worst of those contestants. She thinks if she acts perky and loaded with personality, she can convince anyone of anything. NOT! She was acting and it came through loud and clear to the viewers and to the hgs.
Her meanness to James was hard to watch. Not surprising, but
hurtful to watch.
I was impressed with James and his speech tonight. It brought out
his true character and kindness towards others. It, also, spoke
of an adult who takes responsibility for his own actions and wrong
decisions. Nat’s spoke of her lack of character and inability to be
kind to those who thwart her or stand in her way of getting what she
wants. She will always look for someone else to blame for her own
failings and shortcomings.
There will be a smile on my face if and when she walks out that door.

Sherry…..they were talking the other day about the college that Nat went to…she got a scholarship. I can’t remember the name of the college but Paul, Vic, Corey and Nicole were very impressed. Paul said that you had to be pretty smart to get in. He compared it to Pepperdine. They think she has been playing ditsy all summer to try to fool everyone. Who knows! But she has done very well on some of the comps! The guys were talking one night about when she hosts the comps that she doesn’t have cards to read. They say she has to do several takes even though they are telling her what to say via the earpiece. Who knows she may have lied about the college but I agree she seems more intelligent than we first thought..

about some things, but other things I think she was really ditsy.
Her abstract reasoning is very good, however, to have been able
to do that comp so well. I am going to see if I can go back and
review Corey’s entrance to the comp. I was trying to watch and
do something else at the time and missed it.
I LMAO over Paul trying to compete in that comp. And the
way they looked when they came in from the comp had me
nearly rolling on the floor with laughter. Nic was the best.

I noticed the Corey “advantage” as soon as he entered the first room and walked directly to the pipe on the wall before even looking down to notice the hatch on the floor.

Advice to BB production: if you are going to rig a competition pick a player to carry out the fix who won’t expose the production scam within the first four seconds of the comp.

Read on Twitter that Nicole was talking about getting help on her earpiece during the comp. Any LF’s out there that can confirm that?

She knew she wasn’t winning but wanted to finish the comp. She couldn’t find the key and they had to tell her where it was. She took over 30 minutes to finish so there was no question of her winning.

Sherry….for the last half hour or so Nat has been planting seeds in James head that Nicole is evil and brilliant, and she should be removed from the game immediately. She is so jealous of her it’s unbelievable.

She’s fake screaming and laughing in the shower and Paul is in the kitchen saying she needs to get the F*** out! They are all rolling their eyes at her fakeness and pretending to bash their head on the table. Hilarious. lol

Wish I could have seen that. I have to say,the guys can e
hilarious when they get on a roll. I”m still laughing over
the one student in a lonely class in Nic’s town. They were
so funny teasing her. I’ve noticed guys are great at playing
off of each other. Far more so than gals.

Yes….rigged or at least thoroughly explained beforehand. They ALL picked up those ball things with the tweezer looking things before the instructions said not to touch them. I thought that was pretty telling. And interesting that Nat went first and did surprizingly well…then the rest blew it and then… after all the suspense…here comes Corey! Paul and Nic providing the comic relief. Seemed practiced and choreographed to me.
Hope they send Nat home. I hate mean girls.

before the live (if not taped) comp. Maybe not the same, but
similar ones. But I could be wrong. It just seemed to practiced
at times.

Yeah I think the fix was in. Corey went straight for the pipe. Unbelievably obvious!! But this comp was fun to watch…it exposed their intelligence, or lack of. BB let them watch the others gameplay as it happened which i thought was fun for them and a BB first? Quite a bit of Hollywood staging/special effects took place too with the ripped shirts and dirty faces.

Now why would we be jealous of Natalie…???… give me a break! Her inner ugliness is nothing to envy.

Wow…im glad paul and vic told james about nat. They didn’t seem to embelish either which showed compasion. More about this later… BBL…

dept. who tried ot make their “explosions” look real, but the way they looked when they walked through the door cracked me up.

Tonight on BBAD, it was hard to hear exactly what they said
(C and Nic) because they were whispering, but I thought I heard
C explaining how the moment he walked in the room and saw
those hoses on the wall that seemed to have no purpose, he knew
they had to be important. Seemed to be a big fan of the original
Macg. show. I wonder if prod. really told him what to do or if
he was given clues as to what to look for.
Whatever, prod. has gotten really sloppy about hiding their
influence in staging this season….much more so than in past
seasons. IMO

After watching tonight’s show, maybe Nicole and James do have a secret alliance. Did you notice how much Nic cried because she felt responsible for him being on the block? She said he didn’t deserve to be there. Very interesting! We shall see! A lot depends on who wins HOH tomorrow night. I want James to win it!

Nicole just really likes James from outside the house. They have met at outside charity BB functions and she watched his season.

Ratalie being called “Nat” fits her very well…like a “gnat” that is very irritating! I’m not sure why you people think she has lost weight (?) she is thick and walks flat footed.
I find it rude for someone to mention “we” are like hens and jealous of Ratalie (?) “we” are just honest about a pretentious little immature user who wants to be a Gold Digger but doesn’t have a clue. She has been saying horrid things to James all week! SAD.
I really don’t think she even went to college and if she did it was nothing close to Pepperdine. Consider the source…Paul?!? The 23 year old who has been around the world, graduated college, went to Surfing “School”, is a clothing designer (of tee-shirts), has seen evry concert in Hollywood (and partied with the bands), lives in a 5 bedroom/bathroom house with a basketball court, swimming pool with a cove (and waterfall), drives 2 sports cars…need I continue)?!? Ratalie making a stipend of $750 a week is probably the most money she will ever see. And Ratalie there is not a President of Puerto Rico (other than Barack Obama)…js
