Big Brother 18: Mark this date!

MARK THIS DATE! It is August 6th and there’s still several more weeks to go but, right now, I am totally confident predicting who I think will win this season of Big Brother. As of right now, I look at the house and I consider the people within and it seems to me that Paulie is pretty much the player to beat. And, if things keep going the way that they are right now, Paulie is going to win Big Brother 18.

Seriously, can anyone stop Paulie?

I watch Paulie in this game and I find myself wondering if maybe he’s a hypnotist. Somehow, he can magically convince people to do almost anything. Even people who should be really angry at Paulie still do pretty much whatever he says. It’s amazing that Frank was evicted because of his arrogance and yet nobody seems to mind when Paulie acts in much the same way.

Paulie has the power. Even getting his hair destroyed by Paul has not lessened Paulie’s abilities.

Why do I think Paulie is going to win this game? Because if the house hasn’t turned against him yet then it’s never going to. Paulie has the magic. Paulie is going to win.

Speaking of Paulie winning things, that what he did earlier today. He won the veto! Apparently, it was one of those challenges where the houseguests have to run through the house and search for stuff. As a result, the house is a total mess right now. The Big Brother voice has asked the guests to clean up but, if I was them, I would say, “You came up with the challenge, you come clean this stuff up!”

Anyway, Paulie has got the veto and he’s planning on keeping the nominations the same. That’s right — he’s not going to use the veto on his showmance and he’s already been laughing about how mad Zakiyah is going to be towards him.

I would be mad, too. In fact, I would probably dump him. But we all know that’s going to happen. Paulie won’t use the veto. Zakiyah will be mad for a few hours. And then she’ll probably go back to wondering what their children will look like.

That’s the power of Paulie and again, that’s why I saw mark this date.

Because today is the day that I predicted that Paulie is going to win Big Brother 18.

Of course, I could be totally wrong. It happens!

We’ll find out,

Hey LM!!! I swear we are one mind in two bodies!! lol

I have been saying or weeks I didn’ t see anyone else in the house capable of winning BUT Paulie!!! I’m sure he is a lot like this in RL< but I KNOW he studied Derrick and he probably sat at his feet and listened to his words of wisdom before he got to the house. And maybe a few of Cody's too!!

And after he won tonight, I said I thought he had won at least 3 POVs and an HOH and run everyone else's!! And I'm assuming he could win every comp but he is throwing some.

As for Z, is she is such a dumbass that she can't tell she is being used by a white boy who would never date her on the outside and who she has nothing in common with AND who has kept her at arms length thru most of the game, pulling her in only to reel her back…..then she deserves to go meet up with Da in the Jury House!!! IMHO. And I hope she does!! lol

Star I actually play on my iPad and my favorite is Magic Puzzles. It’s a free download. Lots of fun. I think Sherry plays online and we need to ask her the location. Where is it Sherry!!!!

I predict Paul will win. He is smart and I predict he will keep his buddy, until final 3. And if he has the opportunity, send him to jury. No one would win against Paulie in final two and Paul is wise enough to know it.

Lisa Marie: No offense but I so hope you are wrong. I wanted Paulie gone weeks ago. I think Paul might be the one to get him out through. Paulie wants Michelle gone this week but Paul is pushing really hard for Z to go this week. Hopefully this is the week Paul goes against his twin.

Margie and Star: The online site is jigidi. They have really great
puzzles, marked by how many pieces you want to work and what
subject matter you want. I like Art and Mosaics the best. I’ve always
loved jigsaws and have spent a small fortune buying them. So the
online site is great for me.

I’ve been off line because I fell asleep again. Lying on the couch is
going to be the ruin of me. Also, at my age I can fall asleep at the
drop of a hat. I used to do with very little sleep and never fell asleep
watching t.v. or anything else. Woe is me, those days have come and
gone.

I am sick that Paulie won veto. This game is never going to be interesting if Paulie keeps on winning everything. Now he’s able
to win HOH. It is so much more interesting when there is more than one competitor. It seems Vic, Paul, and Paulie rule all the comps. If a girl by accident wins, she is hypnotized into doing what
the guys want her to do. James had better get his act together. Paul and Paulie are wanting him out. Now would be the time to form a
different alliance without Paul and Paulie in it. He is capable of
waking the other members of the house up, but is too much into
Nat to be actually thinking strategy.
I have decided that the casting was for zombies, because there
does’t seem to be a lot of brain cells left among the HGs.

Sherry….another good site is jigzone. You can also upload your own photos and turn them into puzzles. I also used to buy them like crazy, but with two cats getting into everything that isn’t nailed down, the online sites work for me.

James is hypnotized like everyone else. I think Paul might be getting ready to make a move. He is really pushing Paulie to get rid of Z.

Wonder what’s going on all the boys have shirts on tonight! I almost didn’t recognize them.

Lisa, I am inclined to agree with you about Paulie. I really can’t see anyone else with the talent to manipulate the other house guests, especially the girls. I sure wish he had not let Paul damage his hair. He looks so weird! But, that was probably his main mistake in the game so far. And, I have seen some pretty weird hair styles, even on my cooking shows! 😊. There was one contestant who had black hair with a bright red Mohawk! He was funny and I rooted for him to win! I hope the upcoming double eviction will stir things up dramatically! James could really throw a wrench into the next eviction with his two vote elimination advantage. That could really shake things up, especially in the second eviction that takes place! Let’s hope something earth shattering happens!!! Anything to make BB18 less predictable and boring!!

I had to turn BBAD off and take a break. Paulie gets on my last
nerve. I wasn’t a fan of Paul’s from the start, but am finding I prefer
him to Paulie. I give him credit for being a comp beast, but he’s so
arrogant and unappealing to me. His throat clearing and dour
expression are just too much for me. Paul is better at convincing
people to do what he wants and walking away with them liking him.
I would think the rest of the house would be tired of Paulie calling
the shots, but then you’d have to be playing the game to feel that
way. I guess they will all get what they deserve, even though I keep
hoping to be proven wrong.
THANK YOU, Lisa for this blog. Without it, I would have chunked
this season. You make everyone feel welcome to be themselves, too.

OT: Even though I don’t understand tattoos, it certainly doesn’t in any way change the way I feel about a person. I can honestly say, as a God is my witness, I don’t dislike anybody! I have a God given love for people, even when I don’t agree with their view. I believe love is the best gift God gives us. I love you just the way you are. he has made a deal with james and cory. he has talked to them about keeping zakiyah, hes setting them up to go against paul and victors wishes , lets just say this he has two sets of guys he is playing and to be honest it wont always go pauls way we have a lot more game to see played. and also two more huge care packages a little to early to call it but I will respectfully mark your date. Lets just see how paul reacts to the screw over if it happens……………

I think Nicole has ruined any chance of Corey playing the game. She’s a vet so she’s suppose to know how to play. Instead she just wants to cuddle. Unfortunately we will never know if he ever had any game or not. Nicole pulled him in and stuck him under the covers and was told to stay put she knows what she’s doing. It’s sad cuz who knows Corey may have had a chance at enjoying his summer in the house. I forget he’s in there half the time.

I would love to see Paulie get evicted soon, at least b4 James. I would love to see Victor win especially after he was voted out. He has got to get it together if he plans to stay much longer. I hope he can withstand the double eviction. I would love to see him and bridget go a little further at least.

Well I couldn’t stand Cody and I can’t stand Paulie I don’t think either of them have any special powers. Cody won what he did b/c Derrick took him to the end and Paulie is only doing as well as he is b/c he’s playing with a bunch of immature idiots . I do agree that he probably will win …and that sucks.
Z is being stupid. Paulie like his brother are so full of themselves they’re never gonna settle for just one girl.

Derrick won because of his skill at manipulation. He was able to
make anyone in the house believe anything he told them. Cody
could have won (although I was glad it was Derrick) but chose to
stay loyal to Derrick and believe in what he was being told by him.
I learned one thing about Derrick. If he ever gave you a ticket, you
could forget talking him out of it. It is more likely he might talk
you out of your car.

One of two things happen in BB, for the most part. One player stands out and kinda runs the table so to speak, all the way to the end, OR the stronger players take each other out and someone who really doesn’t deserve to win gets lucky in the end and wins. Time will tell how this one ends.

I really hope Paul gets impulsive/paranoid and stabs Paulie in the back too early, only to get bumped off by someone else. I really have no favorite this season so I hope they all just eat each other alive….that would be more entertaining I think.

Lisa, I have that same nightmare! It is ashame that the nominations are who they are with James have such great power this week. It doesn’t seem worth using to save either one! Hopefully James will be able to use it during the double eviction to break up Paul and Paulie. my dream would be for him to wake up, make some moves and make an alliance with Bridgette and Victor. Now THAT would be a STRONG alliance. Time will tell.

OK Lisa, Aug 6 is marked in my memory. It’s also my brother’s birthday. I wish I thought you were wrong about Paulie winning but I don’t. However, if Paul ever gets smart, he’ll realize Paulie needs to go and that could happen. It could happen too that Paulie decides it’s time to get rid of Paul. Right now, they don’t seem to be focused on strategy. I wish James would get his head out of the covers. What’s wrong with these people? Nic and James know how this game is played and they are under playing or not playing at all and Da over played her hand like crazy. SMH

I too love jigsaw puzzles and have spent a fortune on them throughout the years. Thanks for the websites Sherry and Merlie.

Doris: I like your scenario. I would like for James or Vic to win
HOH for the DE and then Vic and James get together to figure out
a way to get rid of Paulie. I want to see Paul go, too, but Paulie is
the stronger of the two when it comes to comps. The only chance
anyone else in the hosue has to win is to get Paulie out as soon as possible. I just don’t want Paulie to win HOH, nor Paul this next
time. They both think it is up to the two of them to win and that
they will. It seems like everything I’ve wanted to happen this season
has failed, so I have no faith things will bring about a change on this
next HOH and DE.
But if…..it would shake the house up and everyone would have to
scramble to figure out how to start playing the game for real. It
seems the rest of the house is content to sit back and let Paulie
rule everything. They’re sitting ducks just indifferently watching as one..by…one they each go to the jury house. But maybe that is all
they want. They don’t any of them seem to really want to win except
for the two I don’t want to win.

hey yall this is a great place to do puzzles you can make them big, you can do the borders first then click and move the other pieces around to the side by blocking them in a group and move them to the side your buttons are at the bottom screen, you can even change the colors of the background play around with it ~ it’s the only puzzle site i like because after you do a puzzle they put a banner on the puzzle that says ~ solved ~ here’s the site ~

not saying it is right how Paulie treats Zakiyah but come on, you have known him for what – maybe 2 months and you are talking to him of what your children will look like. no guy i know is going to want to have any part of that. she needs to stop and just let it play out – as the saying goes if it is meant to be it will be.

I wish the TV show wasn’t so far behind. I really want to see the Veto played out tonight and that’s not until WED!! It’s so ridiculous! Four days after we already know the results and everything about it! They really need to do something to sinc the show better to us LFs!! After all, we are the one’s they are making money on!!! $$$$ 😛

Agree with a lot of you with taking Paulie down but most people are too afraid of the King to go against him!! And no one EVER seems smart enough to form alliances with other strays or floaters and form a new power in the house!!! We always complain about the recruits. I would really like to see a season of all big FANS and see if they play any better once they are inside!! It’s a lot easier to be an armchair quarterback. Justa random thought!! 😉

I thought Victor was the meanest snake ever tonight the way he did the nominations ! He was so rude to those girls! When he threw the beads at them, I couldn’t believe it. I would wrap those beads around his scrawny neck! 👺👺👺
I don’t remember anyone in BB history being that mean! It was uncalled for and definitely put him at the bottom of my list where the scum bags hang out! Well, that’s my opinion anyway! Jeanne and I were actually yelling at him! 😝😝😝
I can put up with a lot of things , but just plain meanness for no reason shows the character of a person. Well, I guess I have run Victor over the coals enough for tonight. At least he gave Michelle a reason to cry. I couldn’t help feeling sorry for her, even though she cries over almost anything. She really needs to get out of the house. Let her go and have Mama Da comfort her!

i was thinking during the game…becuz of the way paul treats victor…but after his HOH speech (did he say Paul wrote it? ) anyway, i’m having ‘NO friendship” with paul, paulie or Vic…..they are worse than a cry baby girl. i don’t like mean people. I can’t stand or believe that not ONE person, or even a guy said anything to Vic about being mean. guess the guys left their balls at home.
should i call cbs and let them borrow mine?

I hadn’t heard about that, Carolyn. It wouldn’t surprise me — I know that some members of Paulie’s family have been trying to defend him on social media and Evel has been pretty critical of Paulie lately.

They don’t really defend his actions, they just say its unfair to judge his entire life based on what he may have said or done over the past two months.

Thanks Lisa. That’s cool to a point. But the way he’s acted
didn’t happen over night. It’s a learned response or reaction.
However, that’s JMO. Thanks again.
