Big Brother 18: VETO RESULTS!

This is a spoiler warning!  I know that most of our readers don’t care about spoilers but I also share these posts on Facebook so I’m rambling about the spoiler just to make sure that I don’t accidentally spoil it for anyone who happens to wander across this post on Facebook.  They always include a preview of the first paragraph on Facebook so I’m just trying to be considerate.  Blah blah blah spoiler warning…

Okay, now that’s done, here’s what happened at the Veto Ceremony earlier today…

Bridgette did NOT use the veto.  This the first week, since the game began, that the veto has not been used.  That means that the nominees remain Tiffany, Paul, and Bronte.  And, as of right now, it looks like Tiffany is going home.

That’s right — for all of her talk about how she wanted her HoH to be all about “girl power,” Bridgette ultimately decided to do exactly what Frank told her to do.  She didn’t even take her ally Bronte off of the block.

For all the talk about how the rest of the house hates Frank, they are going to give him what he wants.  As of right now, it looks like Tiffany could be voted out by a 9-0 vote.  Tiffany hasn’t helped herself by not campaigning, not making alliances, and not immediately admitting to being Vanessa’s sister.  Nobody trusts Tiffany and nobody takes Paul or Bronte serious so Tiffany is about to be voted out.

Last night, Frank and Bridgette were cuddling in the HoH room (and seriously — ewwwww!) and Frank told Bridgette that he won the roadkill nomination and that he nominated her during the first week.  Bridgette thanked him, saying it had made her a stronger player.

WHAT!?

Of course, Bridgette was drunk at the time.  Some people online are saying that Bridgette was faking being drunk and was instead trying to get information out of Frank but, if that’s true, why didn’t she do anything with the information that she received?  Why is she continuing to be Frank’s pawn?

On a positive side, the rest of the house was a lot of fun last night.  While Frank and Bridgette were up in the HoH room, everyone else was downstairs and throwing Zakiyah an impromptu birthday celebration.  Even Michelle finally showed some personality.

Anyway, that’s it for now!  In conclusion, Bridgette totally wasted her big opportunity to set herself up as a power in the house and it looks like Tiffany is going to be evicted but she will have a chance to come back and I still get the feeling that this will be the last week that Frank gets what he wants.
