Big Brother 18: Who Can Be More Annoying?

Hi y’all!

Well, I don’t know if they’re having an official who-can-be-more-annoying competition in the house or not but everyone certainly is hyper right now. It probably helps that everyone slept until the early evening hours.

Right now, Corey is trying to take a shower so, of course, everyone keeps running into the bathroom and throwing stuff at him. Earlier, somebody (and by somebody, I mean James) hid one of Paul’s shoes. I’m not sure if Paul ever found his shoe or not. If I find out, I’ll be sure to post it somewhere.

Natalie is especially hyper tonight. She’s been dancing around the house and she’s also been wearing the glasses that she wears whenever she wants to convince people that she’s an intellectual. She’s stopped to look at herself in every mirror. She also asked James if he’s secretly the “saboteur” and if production is ordering him to play pranks. James replied, “I can neither confirm nor deny.” That’ll probably come back to haunt James. We all know how paranoid Natalie can be.

If Natalie seems to be especially happy, it’s probably because she’s getting everything that she wanted out of this week. Victor is going to be evicted on Thursday and Natalie is already working on convincing everyone that Paul has to go next week. She’s declared that Paul makes her feel uncomfortable and she’s told James that Paul is always hitting on her. She and Nicole both got upset when Paul said that he knew how to make french fries. For whatever reason, they’re convinced that Paul was lying about that. Nicole said that if Paul will lie about that, he’ll lie about anything…

Paul, for his part, has figured that Victor is going to be voted out on Thursday. For that matter, so has Victor. I don’t know if Michelle has figured it out yet. For the most part, Michelle’s just been eating and lying around in bed. Earlier today, Paul was saying that he knows he has to win the next HoH or else he’s going to be nominated and evicted…

EXCEPT…Paul also thinks that the next care package is going to be something huge. He thinks that it’s going to give whoever gets it the power to change the HoH’s nominations. And he actually mentioned something about throwing the HoH competition because he’s sure that he’ll win the care package and it’ll be something big.

Little does he suspect that the next care package is nothing — basically, just a small amount of money that he can use to try to bribe the other houseguests. It’s not going to do him much good with this group.

Speaking of bribes, I know that you all probably already know this but I’m just going to report it to make it “official.” On Sunday, James and Nicole got in trouble with production because they had a conversation about splitting the prize money amongst their final four alliance. James said that would send $10,000 to Nicole, Corey, and Natalie. Nicole said she would do the same thing, if she won. Of course, that’s a big violation of the rules and both Nicole and James were called to the Diary Room.

Then, because they discussed on the live feed, both Nicole and James had to announce — to the house and the viewers — that they would not share the prize money or give anyone money for their vote. Of course, as a result of that, everyone in the house now knows just how close Nicole and James are. It’ll be interesting to see if their “deal” comes back to haunt them.

Great write up Lisa. I had just read that earlier about the stupid stuff Janes and Nat were talking about last night. And it doesn’t matter if Janes is a vet. Anyone with a brain..ya I know….should have known the second that came out of their mouth that it sounded illegal. Even if you didn’t really know how!!!! I guess when they apologized everyone else was totally in the dark and trying to figure out what it meant. At least it gave them something to focus on for a minute. Lol

And from what I hear also Vic does know he’s going. With three voters left, not too hard to figure out. 🙄🤔.

Haven’t watched BBAD yet and am behind in blog reading, so BBL if I have anything to add. 😎

MargieP August 24, 2016 at 10:18 am: Star…..Victor isn’t sure that he is going. James, Nat and Michelle keep telling him that he’s safe and he’s wanting to believe James. The only way I can see them keeping him is if they find out before the voting that there is going to be someone coming back from Jury James might be afraid to vote against Vic figuring he would win the comp. Vic and Paul plan on putting up James and Nat next week if they win HOH anyway.

I don’t get the French fry thing. Paul has made French fries a lot, at least in the beginning. Why are they questioning that? And why would they give any of their winnings to Nic and Corey even if it were legal?

Y’all thought meech’s eating of sunflower/pumpkin seeds and knawing off half of a tortilla chip so she could double and triple dip it directly into the jar of salsa…HA!…that was polite!!! Wait till you have the pleasure of watching her eat a green salad. She took HUGE bitefulls, shoveling, stuffing and chomping while some bits were still hanging and dripping from her lips. She didn’t swallow before the next shovelful went in. Apparently unaware of a napkin, she kept wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. At one point the camera zoomed in. Is she that unaware she’s being watched? As ewww as it was, I could not stop watching. Even the twins weren’t that disgusting. Sorry if I grossed out anybody.

Junksies…..then she went straight into a big bowl of cereal!! EWW!!! I can just feel the salad dressing and milk curdling now! lol

Ever notice that most of these people eat everything out of a big orange bowl?? I know meals like that are popular in some restaurants these days, but I like my food on a plate to be eaten with a knife and fork. Not a spoon or spork!lol

Vic was just saying he can’t wait until Fri at midnite when he can quit being a H/N. Maybe he doesn’t know he’s going???? Or maybe it was just habit.. Weird.

James, Nat and Michelle keep telling him that he is fine and to quit worrying so he has a little hope. All that hope will be dashed today when James plans on telling him. Whatever happened to a true blindside! James is playing for that vote in Jury.

Victor is convinced that there will be someone coming back in the house and has no doubt in his mind that it will be him. One thing you have to say for him is he is very confident.

The one that really made me go OMG about Meech was her and Natalie had just finished a LONG complaint session about their weight. Meech called herself “A beached whale”

Then James comes out of storage room with pie and Meech couldn’t shove her face in fast enough. She was scraping the pie cover with her fingers while they were trying to thaw them out.

Then she sat with a knife scooping at the pie. James gave her a fork and she must have got upset and stopped… said she wasn’t hungry anymore. Gets up and moves to the other side of the table and starts shoveling down popcorn… half made it to her mouth.. half on her hoodie or floor.

Her & Nat aren’t fat. And I feel bad for them if they feel bad about their bodies. But it is hard to listen to them complain all day while laying around.. then dive at first sight of snacks.

Jean Powers August 24, 2016 at 10:01 pm: I agree with you about the complaining of being over-weight!! They look really good and that’s with the 10 pounds they say TV puts on a body. If they feel this poorly about themselves with the bodies they currently have I would hate for them to have a sickness that really put the pounds on!! My suggestion, if they feel bad about gaining weight in the house this summer, is to say they feel uncomfortable with the weight they are gaining. To call themselves names and cry about the disgusting arms or cellulite they have is too too egocentric and pathetic. They are more than their weight for goodness sakes!!

I thought I was watching Animal House last night. I have
never seen such disgusting eating habits. My dog eats
with more class than Meech. The salad was bad enough,
then putting cereal in the same bowl as the salad without
washing it, then the pie incident. Then popcorn; I saw her
in her two piece a couple of days ago and she looked good.
She shouldn’t with her eating habits. I have to wonder if
she might be bulemic. And I think Nat has an eating dis-
order, as well. They eat like someone is going to take the
food away from them at any moment. Nat. can’t even chew
gum with her mouth closed.

Then we have Nic and James throwing flour, coffee
grinds, and ice water on poor Corey in the shower. I felt
so bad for him. The practical jokes are getting out of hand.
But Nic (in that irritating, nasal, baby voice) asking Corey
not to be mad at her was the cherry on top of the disaster
cake they made last night. Corey is such a good sport.

Production should have stepped in last night and stopped
James and Nic. And they should sit Meech and Nat down and
give them the riot act about their disgusting eating habits.
They both seem super sensitive about what America thinks
of them. Well, let me give them a clue…….pigs at slop have
better eating habits.

Speaking of those two, I read ahead in Jokers sometimes as I watch BBAD taped, and right there in B&W it said……Corey and Nic having SEX!!! Nic on top and asking Corey if she’s too heavy!!! (see JT..it’s not just M&N….all girls that age are like that!!!) Altho I suspect Nic says it to grt him to say…..*You’re not fat babe*…..which he never does!!!lol
Her mom is a huge LFs watcher! How is she going to explain this behavior when she gets home???? what I hate is that Nic plays the baby, innocent good girl……all the while having sex on camera every nite! So fake!!!

Totally agree about Production too. I think they let it go because ratings are down. these HGS are sloths and I bet LFers are cancelling all over the place!! I wish BB would be a little more strict and stick to their rules of yesteryear. then it doesn’ matter what the HGS are like. They are supposed to be towing the line in there!! I remember when that have gotten an instant call out form BB and a penalty possibly if they didn’t stop. But HGs didn’t used to be allowed to tell the Nom they were going up……they had to do laundry by hand….take care of animals…….keep the house clean…lotsof things tht made them move around and made it feel less like a paid vacay!!! they have gotten very lax with the rules and I think it has caused a lot of their problems with the show.

vote if their room is not neatly kept up with bed made
every morning. It would keep them from lying in bed all
day. Let them earn bonus points toward money at the end

Michelle’s teeth clearly show how she has abused them over the years, not just in the Big Brother house. Too bad, John McGuire is not back this season to advise Michelle the felling trees, beaver style, for snacks is harder on the teeth an gums than too may sweets.

It took James 2 seconds flat to pick the lock on the HOH door and he didn’t get in trouble. He was pursuing Natalie to squirt her with lotion to pay her back. He never gets in trouble so Natalie thinks he’s The Saboteur and she won’t stop badgering him. They really are cute together.

Fun n games in the BB house! BBAD not boring tonight! Corey is trying to take a shower 🚿 when Nicole pours baby powder all over him and then here comes James with ice water and then Nicole is back with flour. What a gooey mess! This was all after a game of hot and cold…poor Paul was trying to find a missing shoe. Commercial break. Oh nooh…now there’s coffee grounds ☕ all over the floor. Corey’s had enough and is fighting back. He squirted Nicole with either shampoo or conditioner and it’s all over her hair. She had just showered. James is all wet. Corey is running out of hot water. 🚿 Victor is just shaking his head saying that’s it..!!…he’s not going to clean up after anybody anymore…

Nicole just didn’t know when enough was enough.
And who doesn’t know mixing water and flour is not the best thing for a drain???
Plus the HOH shower has been shut down for half the season it seems.. so you’d think they’d take care of the one reliable one they have.

I guess I’m just the older guy shaking a rake at kids on my lawn… but I’d put my foot down if I was BB production. I con’t stand when people treat things differently than they’d treat their own house. So disrespectful. Glad they at least didn’t let them throw more eggs like they had planned to do.

I know they are young… but even when I was in my teens I wouldn’t have trashed any place like that.

Seriously… I’d threaten expulsion and loss of stipend.

but I don’t think youth excuses or explains their behavior.
I think they haven’t learned to respect other people’s property
by their parents. We didn’t do or even think about doing the
things they’ve done in that house (when a teenager) because we
knew our parents would kill us. (Not literally.) We didn’t do
it at their age, because we’d learned to respect the property
of others by having to work so hard for what we had.
Nic made the comment about how BB would totally start from
scratch at redoing and redecorating the house after they left.
They have no idea another group comes in right behind them
this year. Maybe they have a big bonfire after every season. It
will take a huge cleaning crew to get that house in shape for
the next group that comes in in Oct.

I fear for the future of our country. These people are mostly college grads! They act like pre teens at summer camp without a counselor there to teach them manners.

None of them eat properly and none of them can string a proper sentence together.

I turned of the BBAD a few weeks ago, this is a perfectly awful season with truly uninteresting people.

I had to change channels last night after watching the Big Meecher eat her salad and then the cereal! And watching James and Nichole proves the old saying “You can’t go home again”. James is no longer funny; Nicole is no longer cute…. and the BB house is just a pigsty. Poor Victor trying to clean up after pre-schoolers! Looking forward to Victor battling himself back into the house!

I totally agree with everyone’s comments! I have never seen such a messy filthy house in past shows…I would have just cringed daily having to live in that filth! They are all spoiled brats. Ratalie is on my last nerve…so juvenile and her continued “preying” on James is so obvious I can’t believe he is falling for it?!? He looks at her with stars in his eyes. She won’t have a thing to do with him when this is all said and done. I didn’t understand the comment about the french fries… Paul had been making “disco fries” almost everyday in the beginning and they were all going crazy over them?!? Revolting is the only word I can think of for the way Michelle and Ratalie eat… I don’t want Victor to go! I can’t say I’d want Ratalie, James, Michelle, Corey or Nicole to win.

Any ideas on how Thursday is going to work? If Victor is voted out how will it go for the jury members? Will someone walk back in on Thursday evening or will it take a day or two? Will the battle be endurance or a comp like rolling the ball or searching for disks? I am not a fan of returning to the house after being evicted. If you want the show to go longer have more houseguest!

In fact,the jury will probably join in the HOH comp and whichever one of the jury lasts longer will go back in the house and the rest will go back to JH. If that person wins the competition, they will be HOH. Is that confusing?

Here we go again….1:22 BBT and Paul is the only one up!!! hge is still bitching about Meech calling him an atheist! Old news,,get over it already! Besides I thought he explained the sdif, she apologized and he was over it!!! *eyeroll*

DR calls him and he tells them to call someone else and muttering aout them. Oh wait…I guess Corey is up too. Must have been al that coffee!!lol

Paul also complaining how he can’t cook but no one else there to make him anything. I thought at the very beginning, he was cooking all the time to impress everyone??? He was always making fries and putting tons of junk on them. Seems like the closer it gets to Thurs the more surly he gets. Paul is the life of the party when things go his way but otherwise, he gets pouty and mean!! Typical spoiled brat!! lol

I can’t believe the way they eat turns my stomach their families have
to be so PROUD of them. Still laughing they have made such a pig

Paul is making headway in his plan to suck up to Nicole and Corey. That is all he has done this afternoon. Even fixed lunch for them. His plan, as he told us in his Friendship Talk, is to team up with N / C because he knows Victor is going. He doesn’t know that he’s coming back in (probably). He has apologized repeatedly for confronting her the other day. He should have learned by now…..be careful what you do to others in the house because you might end up needing them later. lol

The Frying Game
The french fry comments in the house and the big deal made about them are a bit confusing. Best I can tell, they are using that as strategy to show that if Paul lies about something so trivial… then he must be lying about everything. Paul claims he can’t.. but has all season… but explains it away as “I just learned while in here” …..but then slips and tells stories about making fries for friends before.

Sounds silly… but in that house the slightest thing gets blown up.

As far as Thursday and the returning player & CP. Here is my guess..
Like Margie & Sirrock have said, I also believe they will do a comp for all right away. The winning juror returns.. and if that juror also wins overall… then they are HOH as well.

Justa guess… but I think we might find out all before the end of Thursday’s show. Past seasons have had endurance, they could still do something like that, but I’m leaning towards a comp that will be over by the end of the show.

CP voting is why I think that. Voting for the last CP starts Thursday after the show has aired in East & Central. (10pm EST.. 9pm CST).

The returning HG is eligible to win the CP. So if voting starts after the show airs, that tells me we will know who is back in the game. All previous CP voting has started on Sundays.

JT…..that makes sense that we will know who is staying by the end of the show. They have been locked down inside though since yesterday. That’s why I was kind of thinking endurance. Since a lot of people don’t have LF that has to be the way it works unless they play the Jury comp before the end of the show and then the HOH comp.

All I know is we should at least know who gets back in by the end of the show…… otherwise holding off CP voting makes no sense.

The juror comp might not be physical. Maybe a crap shoot type game. So anyone could return really. Questions seem unlikely because some have been gone weeks.

I never heard of Big Meech before… but Michelle is from Michigan and so is Big Meech.. so maybe she knew about him and used it as her rapper name that night… and it stuck. LOL

JT….I don’t think it will be questions either because Day, for instance, has been gone a long time. I bet if that’s the way it is done the person that wins the Jury comp will probably be allowed to play HOH. What do you think?

I agree. The returning HG will play for HOH. And when they did it all in onecomp, it made sense in the past…. but CP voting throws a wrinkle in where we need to know who is returning by the end of the show.
So has to be a quick juror comp followed by endurance HOH… or a comp for all that will be over by the end of the show.
If they are locked out of BY for that long.. then seems to be the first option makes most sense

Have to say… this final CP is going to be such a LETDOWN.
They have been speculating constantly on how great this last one will be. Sole HOH, Sole vote to evict, Coup D Etat, DPOV…. etc.

If I were BB production and could make fun of myself, when the final CP is opened I’d play the music..
Waaaah …….. waaaah ………. waa aaa aaa aaah.

Might be like a 5 yr old opening a sweater from Aunt Eunice on his birthday.

to me I makes no sense to evict Victor when the James and Natalie think there will be a returning house guest. Victor is a competition beast and odds are good he’ll return. He rightly so will go on the attack
going after the guests who voted him out again. I think it’s a big mistake.

why would James and Natalie think evicting Victor out would be a good thing. When they feel that a hg will be returning. Chances are Victor (the comp beast) will beat the fellow evictees and come back with a vengeance. I think it’s a big mistake.

I swear Natalie must be stupid……James is having to, once again, explain to her why it’s better to evict Victor over Corey. I have personally heard him explain this to her multiple times. She must have a brain like a sieve that she can’t remember or understand. I personally think she doesn’t WANT to evict him because she is crushing on him.

What a bully Paul was tonight! Getting right in the HG’S faces and intimidating them. He is a class A jerk! I was hoping he would not win POV to night! Then, he has the gall to sleep in the HOH room! I would think the two HOH plus James would have the guts to escort him out of the bed! He drives me crazy with his little ducky around his waste! Please, let’s get rid of him ASAP!!!

After Vic has a very long persuasive talk with Nat and Mich they are wanting to send Corey to jury and keep Vic. I think that would be hilarious if they do this, Vic wins HOH and puts James and Nat on the block. Because that is what Paul and Vic plan to do if Vic stays!!! Boy would Mich and Nat be shocked. If Paulie or Corey won the jury comp James, Nat and Michelle would be screwed! And I would love that!!!!!!

Once is bad enough, but twice ruins it for me. I just
think it is a way for prod. to keep whomever they
want and helps their pets to get to the end over those
