Big Brother 19 — Let’s Open the Diary Room Again For The Battleback!

I vote for Cameron to come back because I don’t think I can stand seeing Jessica and Cody tongue lash each other constantly, Jillian whining or Dom speaking in tongues! Give the boy a chance. He can’t be any worse than what’s in the house. They all had their chance!

I would like to see Cameron return – we didn’t get a chance to know him and I think he deserves a real chance at playing the game instead of being replaced by someone who has already played the game.

Also, I didn’t get a chance to comment on the previous thread, but BB putting Christmas’s name as an option to play in the Veto Competition when she was not cleared to play that was downright wrong. It was so unfair to Dom that her pick couldn’t even play – what a disgrace.

I thought since Julie said last year they had the opportunity to battle back in but this year would be different they may compete to two then allow house guest to vote between the two. How else is Paul going to get to direct part of who comes back?

I agree with Jeanne and tendr. However, I think Dom came on a little strong. When it comes to speaking in tongues, I remember one of my aunt’s took me to a church that spoke tongues. It scared the bajebbers out of me! I have studied the use of tongues in the Bible and it says there must be an interpreter if you speak in tongues. My personal opinion is everyone has a right to worship as they please, but the Bible also says, God is not the author of confusion! To me that says we shouldn’t do or say anything that would be a stumbling block to other people. I think Dom turned a lot of people off because she came on so strong. God bless her. She is a very sweet young lady, but misunderstood by most of the HG’S. I love the way Mark treated her and the sympathy he expressed at her eviction.

As someone who is a Reverend and received one from degree from Claremont School of Theology and two degrees from Claremont Graduate University I can tell you that in the Bible “speaking in tongues” refers to speaking Known languages, but one that is not known to the speaker.
The type of speech Dom was doing is “ecstatic speech” it is not truly discernible by anyone. Now someone in your own congregation may claim to be able to translate, but no stranger or religious scholar would make such a claim. I’m not saying the Holy Spirit isn’t speaking to Dom I’m just saying her type of speech is more of a tradition in the Pentecostal Church than a true “ecstatic” experience. True experience don’t happen very often.
I do think she is a true Christian to be clear, just not very traditional.
