Big Brother 19 — The Case Of The Missing Bracelet

Hi y’all!

Today, in the Big Brother House, Raven freaked out because she couldn’t find one of her bracelets.  She said that it was given to her by a friend of hers who died of one of her diseases and that the bracelet was very important to her.  She enlisted the entire house to help her look for it.  Eventually, Paul found the bracelet.  It was underneath the coffeemaker…

Raven is convinced that someone specifically hid the bracelet, just to upset her.  Who did it?  Raven thinks that it might have been Kevin…

KEVIN!?

Well, that’s what Raven says.  And now, she’s told both Paul and Matt that, if she wins HoH, she might put Kevin up as revenge for hiding her bracelet.

Now, myself, I don’t think Kevin would have hid the bracelet.  That’s not Kevin’s style.  For the most part, Kevin doesn’t do anything and it’s kind of hilarious that the houseguests have suddenly gotten it into their heads that he’s some sort of strategic genius.  It’s kind of like when Frankie decided that Donnie was actually a rocket scientist during BB16.

Instead, here are some realistic theories about what happened with the bracelet:

1. Raven hid the bracelet herself so that she could be the center of attention and hopefully, get some screentime on the show.  She blamed Kevin because she knows that the house is probably going to go after Kevin as soon as Mark leaves.
2. Nobody hid the bracelet.  Raven just misplaced it while she was in the kitchen.  (She spends a lot of time in the kitchen, largely because she’s decided that she is the house cook, despite the fact everyone has said that they hate her cooking.)
3. Paul hid the bracelet.  In the morning, before Raven announced her bracelet was missing, Paul said that he had been up all night talking to the diary room and that’s why he was tired.  But what if he was up all night hiding Raven’s bracelet?  That may sound far-fetched but I do think Paul is more likely to have done it than Kevin.  Add to that, Paul is the one who found the bracelet and he’s been encouraging Raven to distrust Kevin all week.  Even if Paul didn’t hide the bracelet, this is all playing out to his advantage.

My personal theory is the first one.  Raven hid it herself.

Anyway, the bracelet thing may end up backfiring on Raven.  All at once, everyone in the house seems to be getting annoyed with both her and Matt.  Matt is viewed as being useless while everyone is now pretty much convinced that Raven is lying about all of her injuries and her illnesses.

Plus, Jason now thinks that Matt and Raven are planning on coming after him and Alex.  Earlier today, he pulled Kevin into the storage room and asked if he would be willing to vote for Matt instead of Mark.  As always, Jason said he’d do whatever the majority of the house is doing.  However, Kevin also said that he didn’t think Alex would be willing to blindside Matt.

Kevin’s probably right but still, it would be nice to see a blindside, especially since Matt has gotten so far while people who actually have personalities have been voted out early.  Here’s hoping that Jason can convince Alex to change her vote and that the Couch gets sent packing!
