Big Brother 20: Paranoia Means A Great Week

Hi y’all!

Well, I think we’ve got a great week coming up in the Big Brother House!

As you probably already know, Sam won HoH last night. She hung onto the wall for the longest. In the end, it was between her and Tyler and Tyler voluntarily dropped. I also think that, in all probability, JC and Haleigh also dropped on purpose, even if they’re not admitting it. When I first heard Sam had won, I figured she’d probably put up some pawns because she knows that whoever gets voted out is going to have a chance to reenter the house.

Instead, she has nominated Haleigh and Kaitlyn for eviction and she’s planning on using Rockstar as a renom if the veto is used. From the conversations she’s been having in the house, it appears that she is dead serious about wanting those three out of the house. She doesn’t like the way that Haleigh and Kaitlyn flirt with every single guy in the house. She specifically told Angela that she felt Haleigh was manipulating Scottie and that Sam’s worried Scottie could end up traumatized as a result. Apparently, Scottie reminds Sam of her brother.

As for Rockstar — well, Rockstar is being Rockstar. She’s still furious over Brett claiming that Rockstar came to him and offered to flip her vote. She’s still going on about how it’s her daughter’s birthday. Last night, after Sam had won HoH, Rockstar got out a pan and a big spoon and decided to make some noise, like Josh used to do last season. Fortunately, Sam told her to shut up. As HoH, Sam doesn’t put up with much foolishness. She has no hesitation about kicking people out of her HoH room and telling them not to eat her food. I don’t blame Sam at all. She spent her first week in the house as a robot so she’s earned the right to enjoy her time as HoH.

When I last checked in, Haleigh was saying that she doesn’t understand why she was nominated and that she doesn’t even want to stay in the house anymore. Meanwhile, Rockstar was still going on about Brett and Rachel and Angela were both agreeing that it really doesn’t matter who gets voted out. They compared Haleigh and Kaitlyn to Winston and Brett. This week’s vote is less about getting someone out and more about weakening the other side of the house.

This week is going to be full of drama. I don’t mean like the tepid drama we got last season, either. I’m predicting we’re going to see some classic, old school, Big Brother drama! Personally, I thought Brett’s lie was a little too obvious but apparently, he’s done a very good job of selling it because almost everyone in the house is now questioning whether or not Rockstar actually approached him and offered to flip her vote. Even a member of his own alliance, Angela, thinks that Brett was telling the truth! (Brett didn’t even tell his alliance members what he would be doing.) Her logic is that Brett had nothing to gain by lying.

All of the members of Foutte are trying to figure out who flipped. Fayasal even said that he thought it might have been Haleigh. Earlier, Kaitlyn said that her spirit guides were telling her that Sam used her app power to flip two votes. What’s amazing is that no one has suggested that Tyler may was the one who flipped. I guess they really do believe that Tyler will do whatever Kaitlyn tells him to do!

(Tyler, of course, actually is the one who flipped.)

Star July 20, 2018 at 11:15 pm: Mimsy. You can get BBAD for free on POP on TV. You should watch more than the show if you love it!! You get so much more out if it. I didnt get LFS for years but even just BBAD helps. If you can’t watch that late, 12:00-3:00 am, you can record it. No ads that way too. Lol Sorry to butt in. Just my experience. 😊

Should be a good week… but I feel I already got my money’s worth last night and today. Just too funny to me. I will watch some of this again on flashback when times are slower.

Looks like I will be off work for a good week of BB and am thinking of getting live feeds for the first time. However, I have absolutely no idea how they work. Do I watch on the TV or is it just the computer? Isn’t the first week free? Can anyone tell me how they work? Thanks in advance.

they usually do have a free trial week… check into that.
You can watch on computer or whatever device.
Even some things like Amazon Fire Stick or game system.. PS4 has an app for Cbs all access. I usually watch on Laptop.. but do watch on tv sometimes.. but that is slower and harder to navigate.

If they do have trial week still… try it and see. People can answer any questions. I know PC.. but not familiar with ins and outs on phone. But others watch on phone.

I signed up once and never did get it on my computer although after a week of hassle I did finally get it on my TV. I never got my “free” week, they charged for the first month and after a lot of back and forth I decided to just let it go. So, I got half the service, paid full price, their service people never installed it on my desktop, and their accounting people never gave me anything free.

Watch out.

I am l00% sure Sam is the winner this season, she is playing everyone with her corn pone ways but watch carefully how they are all obeying her now. Great playing.

Thanks for the summary Lisa! So much going on it’s hard to know which part to talk about. Lol. We TODE CBS they needed all newbies!!
I’m liking the people drama in the house. The way it was meant to be. No super stars or gimmicks. Just B.B. I agree about Brett’s lie. It was so translucent I thot it was a joke at first!! I couldn’t believe people are now believing it !! That’s how paranoid you get when cut off from everything but one house and a handful of people you don’t know or trust!! I can’t believe I missed the pan banging!! I was watching but I went to make brownies and thot I’d stayed caught up. I may need to go find that!!
I personally don’t love the that Sam
is being the strict Den Mother. I think it’s presumptuous on her part and kind of a bit uptight. But why do the HGS need to treat her like the house police or parents? HOH doesn’t make you the “Boss” of the house. Just of the noms. As for her room, that’s her prerogative. But in the early days of BB that’s how it always was. Without a lecture. But I do appreciate that part as I’ve been asking why they don’t carry their key around or keep their door locked anymore. I think it needs to go back to that.
I did ask in the other blog but how exactly is the power used now? Like if Kaitlin is evicted. I heard she could pick someone to play for her? That’s all I got and I’m a bit confused.
I would love love love her to GO!!!! But I don’t think Hayleigh is that bad. She’s just really young. She’s mostly just chillin’ and flirting like she was in her dorm. I’m not even sure if she was a big fan or just a recruit. Probably the latter.
Oh. I also love Katelins spirit guides telling her Sam
Used her POWER!!! Lol. She really needs to get her Chakras cleared when she gets back home!!! Lol
And from hating JC to realizing he’s quite a gamer in a few short weeks!! He really does have the gift of gab. As long as you can understand what he is saying. lol

I dont have the live feeds, so loving all the comments..thanks guys! Star, I agree that no one should “police” the house..HOH is NOT the”The Boss” of everyone’s activities..but, I also kind of like Sam’s honesty in telling everyone what she thinks of their behavior..and that she is basing her nons on that. Good for her. But NO..she is not the house mother or house police..should be interesting to see how that affects her game going forward. Loving this week! Loving the Old School BB game play!

Star July 21, 2018 at 2:38 am: Hey Astra!! Feel like I keep missing you. Glad you got what I was saying about the HOH. Just feels beyond to me. But I must say I think Sam Missed her calling. She loves to give pep talks. But they’re old fashioned, like a slice of home. She really should have been a coach!! Or SHE should be the life coach, not Krazy Katelin!! Lol Fez was up in HOH for quite awhile chilling. He’s so stressed out over his alliance and who lied and if one of the girls actually likes him or not. He’s really oddly more sensitive and insecure than I thot he’d be. But he says he loved what Sam did taking the pressure out of the week and keeping the HOH private. I agree on that. By saying I did my part. Now we play Veto and someone ultimately has to go. One step at a time. She’s dialed down the fish frenzy. She kept telling Fez she was proud of him and all that stuff that you don’t get in there because no one really cares about you. He almost cried. I think he felt better when he left.
It was a nite for psychoanalyzing too. KC was telling Rach that she needed to quit throwing herself at Brett!!! She said.. do I do that? KC… YES!!! Lol. She’s insecure about him. He’s not looking for a showmance and I don’t think she’s really his type. He’s been hanging more with Angela since Winston left. I think he feels lost and they’re very similar. Both are from well off country club type families. I think Rach is jealous. But KC said that Angela said Brett was like her brother. Rachel
Needs to chill before this affects her game!
Just a lot of little chit chat other than that. OMG I can’t stand to see Katelin all
Over Tyler. I feel so bad for him like he’s suffocating!! Lol. I want her gone but something tells me with the power we’re stuck with her!!!🤮 lol
I’m loving the original BB too!!! So much more interesting than like another year of Paul!! 😝 lol

Ahhh.. I see what you mean now about the power.
If Kaitlyn is evicted.. she will have to do whatever it is herself. No one can do that for her.
I do hope whoever goes this week does not come back.. but I’m afraid they will.
I would guess production wants someone to come back.. so maybe this “task” or whatever wont be that hard.

Debby, here is a screen of what feeds look like on PC.
You can see camera choices up top.. 4 cameras but they will only show 2 scenes at different angles
Also a button to go full screen in lower right.. just like normal.
Far right are 4 choices for Highlights.. or to see Twitter scroll in real time.
Blue bar at the bottom can be dragged back and forth to RR or FF
Also a 1 minute rewind button down there
Other thing on the right is a flashback feature… you can set day, time, and camera choice if you know a time you are looking for.

How nice of you to explain all that.

I have a question that maybe you can help me with. A couple of years ago I asked people on this blog how they can afford to be on the live feeds 24/7 and not have it blow out their data plans. It seems that their data plans were unaffected because they live in urban areas and connect via Wi-Fi which is supposedly free. That is probably my dilemma. I live in the country and connect to the internet via what they call a hotspot, also known as an air card. My carrier is Verizon for both my cell phone and the air card for my PC. Watching YouTube videos or listening to music chews up my data very quickly and I assume the live feeds would do the same as it did like 4 or 5 years ago when I was with AT&T. I would love to get to feeds through Lisa and bbblogger. Is there a solution I’m unaware of?

But if I’m out and about in my car or not in a place that I can connect to Wifi then you pay roaming charges. Which are what you basically pay all the time. I guess I’m a city girl but I can’t believe in this day and age that they dont have something closer to you to connect to. You’re in Cali, right? What part? Are you in the mountains or something?🤔

Did you know that Brett has not been acknowledging Blockstar as a person??????? I just heard her say it for the 5000th time! She thinks she is going to get Sam to put him on the block because he is such a ‘bully’. He hurt her little feelings! Fez is up in the HOH by himself and Hayleigh said she was going up to sooth him. Sam told her NO she could not go in the room! Love it!

I don’t know if you know this but Blockstar just stated that there was a blatant line told on national TV and it must be corrected. Girl give it a rest!!!

Sorry you can’t get POP anymore. That sucks. Sorry but I’d change providers!!! lol I’m serious about my summer addiction! I’m not promoting the LFS, even tho it may sound like it, but for 6 bucks a month, you can watch anytime all the time!! Pretty cheap entertainment in my book. Can’t even go to a movie for that anymore. 😏 but happy to keep you updated. If JT doesn’t beat me to it!!

I’m not promoting Feeds either. But agree with Star. I do get them every year just in case I watch! LOL. Last few years I didn’t watch much.. but this year I’ve watched a lot.

Plus… if they still have a free week… then $6 a month after that, you might get the rest of the season for $12 total

Finale is Sept 26th.. just check dates and see when billing would fall on.

Oh.. another option to watch on TV is if your tv is compatible.. it might have CBS all access app. Mine doesn’t.. just youtube, Netflix etc.
And if no app on tv.. you could cast it to your tv from computer

If none of that is compatible… can always use an HDMI cable and hook directly to tv like a cable box

Debbie. Just sign into CBS. Com. Hit Try for a Free Trial Then you’ll Give them all your pertinent info. And either your iTunes PW or some kind of payment form. You’re done! I watch on everything but TV. I’m not good st all that physical hook up stuff and figure I have the show and BBAD on there. I want the LFS to be portable. So they are on my cell, iPad and any computers I have. All you do then is click the icon or app anytime you want to go in. Usually after a couple times you don’t even need to use your PW anymore. You can watch LFS, TV shows, or any special programs they have. The BY interviews are usually in there at the end too. I think they are $5.98/mo. You can cancel at anytime and I do as soon as the season is over. Makes it easy to sign up again the next summer! Hope that helps!!!😎

Yes Star..Katelin seems very clingy to me..ughh! I think Rachel would ot be a good match for Brett..glad KC tried to call her out on that. I dont really like Brett at all..or Winston. I really dislike Katelin and Rocksalt.

My call to win BB this year is Tyler. I love his all around easy going style..not a big ego..and he’s smart in the game. my second call to win BB is Sam. ALTHOUGH this “house mother” attitude could hurt her game, we’ll have to see..this whole week as HOH and using her poer could ruin her game. OH..by the way..I am LOVING the “Ross and Marrisa” show! WIsh they were on every day!

Astra. GMTA!! I called Tyler from Day 1 too. He’s very manipulative but so laid back no one realizes it. Ever notice he hardly ever answers a question if he doesn’t want to? He just does that slow smoke and looks at them or ambles away. lol
I think he has a secret F2 with KC but not sure if that’s still current. But it kinda figures. She’s most like him in Temperament. Yet I’m sure he thinks he can win against her. I’m not sure too many other people are even thinking that far ahead. Maybe Scottie. Or Rachel. But it’s a long way to the end right now!!

JT. You don’t need windows at all. I have LFS in my cell and iPad. And it’ll probably connect to any windows with a large enough HD to DL it. All you go is go to CBS. com and sign up. They’ll find a connection. I am assuming anyway as I have it across a lot of different devices. All from one sign up.

Yeah I’m in Cali, 2 hours north of Los Angeles in the San Joaquin Valley. Several years ago I tried U-verse which was supposed to solve the problem but at that time, after 2 months of frustrating attempts by their technicians climbing the poles on the property, I gave up. AT&T finally admitted that I was a little too far from their “tower” in town. That was approx 8 years ago and maybe I should try again.

Ok. Showing my geographical ignorance here but are you in the desert? Are you like on a ranch or in a small town? Don’t really know Cali as I’ve only been there once. In cities of course. Lol But ya. ATT is what we have and they have way improved in 8 years. Give them a ring and see if they could do anything now. I bet with all the competition nowadays they gave some way you can connect. It’s a small town near Bakersfield and I’m surrounded by almond groves and the nearest neighbors in all directions are the distance of a football field away, yet the town is only about a half a mile from my house.

When AT&T bought DirecTV they offered all kinds of package deals and perhaps I should take them up on that to possibly resolve my issues. I had AT&T for several years but the service was lousy, always dropping calls etc., so I switched to Verizon. Thanks for your concern Star, I appreciate it.

My parents made the rounds in Cali back when my Dad did some traveling with his company.
They lived in Bakersfield for a few year… another time in Huntington Beach.. and up in Pleasant Hill by SF Bay.

Also enjoyed trips out there in the Summer. Then when they retired they moved back here to Mn… LOL
