Big Brother 20: Veto Results

Hi, y’all!

You probably already know this but let’s just make it “blog” official. They competed for the POV earlier today. Along with Scottie, Brett, and Winston, the competitors included Tyler, Angie, and Rachel.

This turned out to be a surprisingly short veto comp. In fact, it was so short that I’m wondering if maybe everyone except for Scottie, Brett, and Winston threw it. I mean, no one wanted to have the veto power this week. Scottie had already told everyone that, if the veto was used, the replacement nominee would be whoever that veto-holder was closest too in the house. Scottie isn’t fooling around.

Anyway, the winner of the Golden Power of Veto is….

SCOTTIE!

That’s right. This week, Scottie not only won HoH but he also won the veto. Obviously, he’s not planning on using the veto and, in all probability, it will be Winston going home this week. I can’t say that for sure, though. A lot of the members of Level 6 actually want to keep Winston and, up until Winston started threatening to come after him, Scottie’ original target was Brett.

But regardless, the Winston/Brett bromance is coming to an end.

(For the record, Winston thinks that they can still talk Scottie into using the veto on Brett but, for the most part, he’s just grabbing at straws.)

Personally, if I was Scottie, I probably would have thrown the veto comp. Right now, he’s got all the power in the house but he’s also proving that he can win comps and he can be a ruthless enemy. As soon as his HoH is over with, he’s going to have a huge target on his back.

As always, we’ll see what happens!

Brett said his ONLY goal is to stay long enough to get Rockstar out.
So he moved up a few spots on my faves list.

But even at that he said he’d put her up… and if there was a chance do BD Faysal he would. So once again.. a weak ass competitor would probably slide by another week…. while acting like she deserves to be there more.

I agree. Scottie didn’t do himself any favors by winning again.
All that does is give more ammo to Rockstar as to why he (and all other males) need to go.

Level 6 is pretty torn who to vote out. Seems they actually want to keep Brett for competitions. Kaycee, Rachel, & Angela were chatting about that. But those would be only 3 of the 6 needed to stay. And I think others are more threatened by Brett

Faysal is beginning to catch on. Here is a comment from him I read on Jokers…
Faysal: “You know what’s scary? If no one uses a power it will be 3 straight dudes out on a row.”
I wish he would point this out to Scottie, but even then, I think it would only fall on deaf ears!

And earlier he told Rockstar he was worried that 3 guys in a row went home
She said “Don’t worry, we’ll keep you around”

LOL… the 2 people he is talking to are the Queens of the man-haters club!! Those are the 2 this season using gender as their strategy. (lame)

Thanks Lisa. I had the idea that L6 was leaning toward keeping Brett. Winston is a nervous Nellie and his own worst enemy. Rachel was talking to Scottie I think earlier and even said how he’d been freaking out for awhile. And it was affecting their alliance. But things change every 5 mins in there. I don’t really have a preference as I don’t see either of them
Going all the way or being a big presence in the game. But it does sound like Angry Angie is off in a mission to put Brett’s name out there. So it’s anyones guess right now. Thurs is s long way off.
Just a side note.. like you I am not a fan of the whole H/N thing. I never even pay attention to who is on slop until I hear complaining. I think it’s past it’s usefulness and totally mean and inhumane. Since they are dropping the stupid app thing, any idea when they put an end to H/Ns? I wish there was a place for show suggestions because that would be the first one in the box!! Lol

I never liked many of the gimmicks. I’m all about gameplay and strategy. I get annoyed when CBS wastes my time showing have-nots (at least they haven’t had a comp for that yet this year)… or Faysal eating a sammich… or a Chris Farley wannbe yelling in the house… bleh. Just dumb IMO.

SO MUCH happens every week that actually has to do with the GAME! I wish they’d show that for their 3 episodes instead of all that other stupid shit.

But I am one of few who NEVER cared for the food comps from way back in the day either. Just more wasted air time to me.

They only have about 2 hrs and 10 mins a week to show us what happened (minus commercial time for 3 episodes). There are 168 hrs in a week.
We don’t need Rachel to do the math to tell us that is such a small percentage (1.3%) already without adding silly filler.

hahaha.. I really need to see this plan by Winston & Brett to get Scottie to BD Kaitlyn.
NO CHANCE IN HELL it will work.. but I need to see the comedy.
They are trying to figure out how to get Scottie alone.. even just for a few minutes.
As if they can drop some bombshell on Scottie in that time that he wont see right through.

Since most are up in HOH, Brett just told Rachel to go up there (on his signal.. wink wink) And yell that there is alcohol in the storage room and run down there with all following except Scottie (there is no alcohol… supposed to just say GOTCH YA SUCKERS!! ..practical joke)

Rachel’s expression told me she was as amused by this as I was. But she was like… what the heck.. and would try it.

Not sure where Winston & Brett will be during this. Please let them be upstairs trying to hide under the chess table or hugging a wall!!

I’d like to record the entire scene from a few angles…. then set it to the old Benny Hill music (Yakety Sax). Maybe even speed up the video to about 1.5 or so.
LOL.

I’m not so sure that a plan to backdoor Kaitlyn wouldn’t succeed… after all she was the vote that took out Steve and that is Scottie’s number one priority…to avenge Steve.

“Team This” ..but has to have a hashtag in front of that. And comes with a sassy finger snap. (Kay, Bay, Hay, RS) Haleigh doesn’t know she’s in it yet

and maybe toss in some crunchy noises.

Finally Winston is up in HOH with Scottie making his pitch.
Scottie is listening (of course) but it is going in one ear and out the other.

Winston’s pitch is there are a lot of people there for the wrong reasons.. Twitter followers etc.. And they aren’t really playing the game.
And that those 2 plus Brett could get to the end… etc.

Looks like Brett is running interference with Kaitlyn right now in living room… he is getting advice (maybe spirit guidance) of how to go about this week up against his friend.
At first I thought it was coincidence that they were chatting…. but no way. I can tell Brett would rather be laying at the bottom of the swimming pool than talking to her.

Justaguy (JT) July 15, 2018 at 4:04 am: I did a rewind and had missed the first part. Brett was actually up there with Winston at the beginning… but then decided to leave before it got too suspicious. Everyone else was in the backyard at the time.
Didn’t happen on cam.. but Kaitlyn must have come inside.. and maybe was even going to go up to HOH… so maybe that’s when Brett scrambled and grabbed her to chat and get some spirit guidance. LOL

Right now… it sounds like the only 3 votes Brett has to stay are Rachel, Angela, & Kaycee.
Not sure about Sam.. I know she wanted Winston out last week. But I’m sure someone will tell her why Winston is less of a threat than Brett. If they haven’t already.

JC was just confirming with Tyler that they need to get Brett out.

I’m so hoping that somebody will rat out to Scottie that it was Kaitlyn’s vote that took out Steve. Scottie’s number one priority supposedly is to avenge Steve’s eviction. I’d like to see if there is any bite to his bark.

I don’t understand why the Bros aren’t working Sam to use her power.

It cracks me up how the Bros are like The Bobbsey Twins. When one has a headband on so does the other. When one has a hat on so does the other. In the kitchen sitting on the bar stools one started to spin so did the other. It’s like they’re joined at the hip.

I think maybe the only person that Scottie has confessed to is Tyler

Final thought on the Winston plan with Scottie
I don’t think it will happen.. I’d give it a 10% chance.. but that is 10% more than before.
So now I’m with Junksies a bit, it could work …”could”. Don’t think it will, but I guess you can never rule out anything in BB.

One reason that gives it slim odds was a bit later Scottie was outside with Faysal.. and Scottie didn’t tell about his conversation with Winston. Scottie just said he came up and apologized (which was the cover story Winston laid out if anyone walked in)

So if Scottie was 100% against the idea.. he probably would have told Faysal about it.
I think Scottie is just keeping that in his back pocket as a possibility.. until POV ceremony anyway. Never hurts to keep your options open… even if you are 99% sure what you will do.

Or am I forgetting and POV ceremony is usually Monday??

I tend to agree with you that Kaitlyn should go but she’s more entertaining to watch than Hay and Angela. I totally agree with JT that Rockstar has to go… she’s my number one choice. Next would be Snotty#2, AKA Bay…she and that snot nose must go!

I can’t believe that I’m saying this… but I’m beginning to really like Rachel. She’s really smart and a goofball.

Get her whatever it takes to fix that!! just so gross and distracting. I wanna hear gametalk.. but it’s hard to watch
