Big Brother 21 — Drama For Nothing

Hi, everyone!

Well, it was another Thursday night in Big Brother 21, which means that there were some brief drama in the House, some excitement before the vote, and then the guy who we all thought was going home went home.

Despite getting evicted on a unanimous vote, Sam did come close to flipping the House. For a good deal of today, it looked like he may have actually pulled it off. Realizing that he was the target, Sam did something very smart. He basically told Holly and Jackson that Christie was plotting to break-up the couples at some point. Realizing that Christie could not be trusted, Jackson, Jack, Holly, and Analyse started talking about keeping Sam and forming a new alliance.

Apparently, that didn’t happen. I’m not sure what happened today while the feeds were down, beyond the fact that there was a lot of arguing going on amongst the Six Shooters. But, for whatever reason, they decided to go ahead and vote out Sam. I guess they decided that Nick was still a bigger threat and that he needed to be weakened by taking out his main ally. Or maybe Jack and Jackson decided that they didn’t full trust Sam enough to form a new alliance with him.

Still, just from all the fighting that went on today, it would appear that the Six Shooters are done. Christie looked like she was in a state of shock during tonight’s show and, in their goodbye speeches, both Kat and Sam made it clear that they both expected to be voted out. Those cracks in the alliance are finally splitting apart.

I was sad to see Sam go. I would have been sad to see Kat go, too. Hopefully, if nothing else, tonight will be the end of the Six Shooter Alliance. That alliance has so dominated the game that it’s made for a very boring season. The House needs to be shaken up and Sam may have at least accomplished that before leaving.

In other news, the jury starts next week! So, from now on, everyone voted out will be a member of the jury.

Also, this week, the viewers will be voting to send three houseguests on a field trip two weeks from now. Basically, the three who go will compete in a brand new competition. The winner of the comp wins immunity. The HG in 2nd place receives a punishment. And the 3rd place HG goes on the block as a third nominee. Remember, this will not effect this upcoming week but it will effect the week after. You can vote at CBS.com.

And now, we’re just waiting to find out who the new HoH is. The comp is going right now and the feeds are down.
