Big Brother 21 — Tuesday Notes

Hi, y’all!

Last night, the Big Brother House had a megaphone incident. Someone outside the house shouted, “TOMMY AND CHRISTIE KNOW EACH OTHER!” Cliff, Nicole, Tommy, and Analyse were in the backyard at the time. They know someone yelled something but I don’t think they understood what was said. (Whenever anyone in the House starts to mention the incident, the feeds automatically cut away.) Either way, it doesn’t seem to have made much difference as far as anyone’s plans in the House are concerned.

It seems like this happens every season, of course. During the early seasons, fans would fly banner planes over the BB House and, more recently, people have tried to throw messages over the wall or else they’ve gone for the megaphone approach. It never really works because the Big Brother House is specifically set up to make it difficult to hear what’s happening on the outside. Even when the houseguests are in the backyard, they’re still essentially in a studio. There have been a few times when someone’s shouted a message and the houseguests have understood what they were saying. (During BB19, I’m pretty sure that Paul heard someone yelling, “America hates Paul!”) But usually, the message comes out garbled.

Even if this season’s houseguests did hear the message, it would make much difference. Everyone’s already planning on voting for Christie on Thursday.

Christie has promised that she’s going to blow up Nick’s game before she leaves, probably while the houseguests are having dinner. She spent the first part of today feeling sorry for herself. She and Analyse spent a few hours going over every single event that happened in the House, with Christie eventually deciding that everything would be different if they hadn’t voted out Ovi during week one. For her part, Analyse keeps looking at the cameras and asking America to send her a special power that will allow both her and Christie to stay in the House.

That said, Christie did finally manage to find the strength to go talk to Jackson, telling him that Nick is the biggest threat in the House and that, after this week, Analyse will probably work with him and come after Holly and Jackson. Christie went on to say that if she somehow stays in the House, she will only be going after Nick and nobody else.

And Christie also just told Jackson that, tonight, she is going to blow up Nick’s game during dinner! So, we’ve got some drama to look forward to!
