Big Brother 21 — Week 4 Nominations

Y’know, Julie Chen always says that things in the Big Brother House can change in an instant. Usually, I kinda roll my eyes at that because we’ve all seen seasons where everyone — from the HoH to the houseguests — just do what one person orders them to do, regardless of whether it’s good for their game or not.

Well, for once, the old saying is true. As of today, things have changed in the Big Brother House and it did happen in an instant.

Here’s what happened:

As we all know, Cliff was voted out last night. It was a blindside and it was obvious that Cliff was not particularly happy about it. However, Cliff then won the chance to reenter the House.

They then competed for HoH and guess who won?

CLIFF!

So, Cliff went from being on the block to being the new Head of Household! Cliff has all the power and, from the minute he became HoH, he made it clear that he was looking for revenge. He knew exactly who had voted for him. The members of Gr8ful all scrambled up to the HoH room and told him that everyone in the House wanted Nick and Bella out and that, if Cliff didn’t do what the House wanted, it could hurt his game.

Cliff didn’t care. Just a few minutes ago, they had the nomination ceremony and….

CLIFF NOMINATED JACK AND JACKSON FOR EVICTION!

Now, Cliff did tell Nicole that he might nominate Nick if one of his nominations is vetoed. But, for the most part, it appears that he really wants Jack out of the House. So, after four weeks of telling people what to do and bullying the other Houseguests and talking down to everyone, it looks like Jack might leave without even making it to the jury!

Now, of course, a lot can happen. There’s still a veto comp to be played. Christie still has her diamond power of veto, though it sounds like she wants to hold onto it to protect herself. But, as of right now, Jack is the target!

I swear, I never thought this would happen so early in the game and I certainly didn’t think that Cliff would be the one to do it. But now that it’s happened, I’m very happy.

This might be good week!
