Big Brother 21 — Week 4 Veto Comp Results

Well, everyone, I know that I was really, really excited yesterday when I learned who Cliff had nominated for eviction. Unfortunately, I have some sad new for everyone who was looking forward to seeing either Jack or Jackson leave the House on Thursday.

Today was the veto comp. At the veto draw, Jack used his Whacktivity Power to select Analyse to compete with him, Jackson, Cliff, and Kat for the veto. So, Jack’s power is now gone and Christie is the only person left in the House with a special power.

They just finished up the veto comp and….

….well, there’s no gentle way to put this:

JACKSON WON THE VETO!

*sigh*

Yes, that’s right. Jackson is now safe for the week. Unfortunately, it appears that there’s also a chance that Jack might soon be safe as well. As the entire house knows, Christie has the Diamond Power of Veto. Ever since the veto comp ended, Jack has been pressuring Christie to use the Diamond Power of Veto and to take either him or Jackson off the block. (If Christie took Jackson off the block, Jackson would then use his veto to take Jack off the block as well.) The twist with the Diamond Power of Veto is that Christie would then name the replacement nominee. The plan is for her to nominate Bella and then to vote Bella out of the House.

And don’t get me wrong! I would love to see Bella voted out but I’d much rather see arrogant Jack go first. After the way that he’s bullied everyone in the House, I’d love to see Jack go pre-jury. And you just know that if Christie uses the power and saves Jack, he’s going to be insufferable for the rest of the game.

Here’s the catch. Christie doesn’t want to use the power. However, she knows that if she doesn’t, she’ll officially be on the bad side of Jack’s alliance and she’ll be setting herself up as a target. She told Tommy that she’s going to wait until she talks to Cliff before she makes any decision on what she’s going to do. I think her hope is that Cliff will nominate Bella on his own and that way, she’ll be able to hold on to her power in case she needs it to save herself.

Christie was just telling Tommy that she may have made a mistake telling everyone that she had the power. Uh …. yeah. Christie never knows when to stop talking.

We have two days until the veto meeting so I’m sure Jack will continue to pressure Christie and Christie will continue to freak out. Personally, I would not waste my power on someone else nor would I ask anyone to do that for me. But this is the Big Brother House and Jack usually gets what he wants.

We’ll see what happens! Here’s hoping Christie can stand strong!
