Big Brother 21 — Week 6 Nominations

So, you know how a lot of us have spent the past month and a half thoroughly frustrated by this season and desperately wishing that someone would do something to shake up the game?

Well, ask and yoy shall receive!

Over just the past 48 hours, the Big Brother House has been thrown into chaos. The Six Shooters are no more, with the members of the former alliance now all trying to distance themselves from their former allies. It all started with Sam exposing Christie’s game to the entire House. That wasn’t enough to keep Sam from getting voted out but it was enough to cause the other members of the Six Shooters to turn on Christie and Tommy.

Meanwhile, Jackson is now angry with Jack because he found out that Jack didn’t keep it a secret that Jackson cast that mystery vote to evict Jessica way back in Week 3. So, now, that bromance has now collapsed and with it, so has the friendship between Holly and Analyce. It doesn’t help that Analyce won’t stop complaining about how she doesn’t want to be in the House and how she wishes she could just go home. Holly and Kat spent a good deal of time earlier today talking about how much they both dislike Analyse, during which time they agreed that 1) she wasn’t as pretty as she thinks she is and 2) she’ll never score any endorsement outside the House because, as Kat put it, she doesn’t know the difference between “a noun, a very, and an adjective.”

And then, on top of all that, Jessica won HoH last night! Now, I have to admit that I was worried that Jessica would turn out to be another wishy-washy HoH but no, she actually made a big move. Earlier today, she announced her nominations and, for eviction, she nominated:

JACK AND JACKSON!

So now, Jack and Jackson are on the block! Jack has told Analyse that he’s convinced that he can trick Christie into using her power to save him but Christie has sworn to Jessica that she will not use her power this week. (This is also, I believe, the last week that Christie can use it.) Christie knows that if she did use her power to save Jack, she would automatically become the biggest target in the House.

So, we still have a veto to play through and who knows what strangeness could happen between now and Thursday. Christie could very well go back on her word and use her power to save someone. (We all know better than to depend too much on Christie keeping her word.) But, as of right now, it appears that either Jack or Jackson will be heading for the jury house on Thursday!
