Big Brother 21 — Week 8 Veto Comp Results

Hi, everyone!

So, today was the veto competition. The veto players were Jackson, Analyse, Cliff, Christie, Holly, and Nick. It sounds like Christie drew houseguest’s choice and picked Nick to be her player. I’m not sure why she would pick Nick rather than Tommy but we’ll find out for sure on Tuesday night.

Anyway, the feeds have just come back from the veto comp and we have a winner….

JACKSON!

Now, to be honest, I never thought I’d see so many people online happy about Jackson winning a competition but there is indeed much rejoicing on twitter. Jackson is not going to change his own nominations and that means that Christie will remain on the block and will probably be sent to the jury house on Thursday.

Interestingly enough, Christie seems to be handling being on the block far better than Analyse. Analyse has been whining ever since the nomination ceremony and just generally getting on everyone’s nerves. She’s also currently upset with Nick because Holly apparently told her that Nick threw the HoH comp. Analyse and Christie even confronted him about it before today’s veto comp and Nick denied throwing anything and he said he was getting a little bit tired of constantly being doubted.

For the record, Nick did start out with a pretty sizable lead during the HoH comp. I thought he was going to win but he did noticeably slow down about halway through the comp. I don’t know if he just got tired or if he decided to throw the HoH. With Nick, it’s hard to say.

So, that’s it for now. Christie and Analyse are on the block, Jackson has the veto, and Christie is probably going to jury on Thursday.

Cry me a river…. The mean girls never seem to expect or be able to handle getting put on the block after weeks of having no sympathy when others have been put on the block. It is always… “What did I do to deserve this?” “It’s not fair!” Bye Bye Christie or Sis!

Nicole is turning into a little snitch. She walked in while Sis was venting to Tommy in the RV and went straight to Holly and told her. I guess she has to be relevant somehow! lol

Actually, I think she’s been doing it all season. Remember she told Holly & Jackson that Jack & company we’re coming after them way back on week 2 or 3… caused Nicole to end up on the block. I hate to say it, but I can see why she doesn’t have a lot of friends in the real world if she does the same thing in her daily life on the outside. Wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her. I actually work with someone like her. That girl doesn’t have a lot of friends either, and she gets used a lot when people want to “spread the word” on something!

I have a quick question, it’s about Jessica I’ve never seen her cook anything on the show, and I don’t ever see her doing dishes. So if I was there that would tick me off. Just asking if anybody seen anything. I do tape the BB after Dark, only watch the parts words like two or three people talking. Don’t bother with all the stuff of everybody sitting around the table. Just wondering what other people thought.

She had that talk with Sis the night of the fight that lasted over 2 hours and she was saying the same thing over and over again. Even Christie finally came in to rescue Sis! lol Her voice is very screechy also!

Carol I don’t remember seeing her cook (and I watch the feeds a lot) but I have seen her occasionally dry the dishes when someone else is washing.

I have compassion for Nicole but she is responsible for ruining a lot of people’s game with loose talk and she is too gullible… Not my favorite… not even close… Cliff is my #1. Not sure if I care about anyone else although I like Jackson better than I used to.

She went straight to Jess and told her that she was left out of the deal Cliff and Nicole made with Tommy, Christie, Sis and Nick. She actually said that! What did she think was going to happen…she does stuff like that an then slinks off somewhere and hides until it calms down. Sneaky!!!

Judy Carr August 18, 2019 at 9:37 am: Cliff is not my favorite person to watch on the show (Kat was much more fun to watch) but I do want him to go far. Since I don’t really care about anyone else on the show I guess that is why it makes him my #1. Plus… we are both from Texas. I usually root for the underdog but I can’t work up a lot of enthusiasm for either Nicole or Jess. Kudos to Jess for her one brilliant week – but that is all she has done….

Lisa I think the reason she chose Nick was after a long discussion among the four of them C/S/N/T it was decided that Jackson would not under any circumstances put Tommy on the block to replace Christie. They weren’t so sure about Nick. In fact, Jackson told Tommy that if Christie came off Nick would go up in her place. It was a veiled threat to the four of them and to emphasize that he was serious about Christie leaving.

Thanks for the news, LMB! ‘rejoicing on twitter’… love it. Must be hard for Jackson haters to have to root for him in this case. People take this show way to seriously.

I would say Nick ran out of steam, he’s not that fit I think. Certainly not as much as Jackson. But then again, I thought he was a dumb bunny and now I am thinking he’s not. I think he feels safe as everyone wants him on their side and he may be playing it cagy and letting others get the HOH. As for the veto comp, I could see him throwing that to not have to stir things up. He is focused by putting himself first and that’s how it should be.

I’m trying to listen to this conversation between Holly and Sis and the two of them use the word ‘like’ every other word just like Jess!!! It’s so irritating. Also Sis uses the ‘F’ word every other word! Sis is trying to talk Holly into getting Jackson to use the veto to take Christie down and put up Jess in her place!

Sis is kissing Holly’s butt SO MUCH she should be embarrassed! Throwing Nick under the bus every other breath. She’s trying to get Nick on the block and she accuses Nick of being two faced!

Holly is agreeing with Sis about wanting to get back with Sis, Christie, Tommy, Jackson and her. I hope Holly is just blowing smoke up her butt.

Everyone keep your fingers crossed this doesn’t happen. If J/H agree to do this what happens to the Cliff, Nicole, Jackson, Holly alliance???

These HGs have changed alliances so often, I can’t keep up! I’m betting they’ll all be in a different alliance after the next HOH…. and the next… and the next… Trust. Not sure anyone trusts anyone in this house…

Carol… yes, Cliff put up the Jacks… Jackson won the Veto and Cliff folded. Instead of putting up another member of the 6, or even a pawn as replacement nominee, he put up Bella who was then voted out. His big move ultimately ended up helping the 6. So, no kudos for Cliffs noms… 🙄 just sayin.
