Big Brother 21 — Week 8 Veto Meeting Results

Hi y’all!

So, this isn’t going to come as a shock to anyone. They held the veto meeting and …. JACKSON DID NOT USE THE VETO.

Yeah, like I said — no big shock. Despite Christie’s firm claim that the universe did not intend for either her or Analyse to go to the jury this week, Jackson did not use the veto and Christie is still probably going to jury.

I’ve been away from the feeds for most of today (sorry, Mondays always keep me extremely busy) but, from what I’ve seen since I got home, it doesn’t appear that either Christie or Analyse is taking Jackson’s decision very well. I guess maybe they actually thought that Christie had talked him into going after Nicole instead. They’re both pretty upset about the veto not being used and, even though Christie insists that she’s not bitter, it’s pretty obvious that she is.

Analyse has declared Jackson to be her main enemy in the House. She was telling Tommy that, if she does win HoH, she’s definitely going to nominate Holly and Jackson. She also says that her plan is to tell them they’re safe and then “blindside him just like he did to me!” What Analyse doesn’t seem to get is that she’s not being blindsided. She was put up as a pawn and she’s still a pawn. Being a pawn sucks but it’s not quite the same, at least in Big Brother terms, as being blindsided.

Knowing that she’s going to be voted out on Thursday, Christie has apparently decided that she’s going to spend the rest of her time in the House blowing up Nick’s game. She told both Tommy and Analyse that Nick has been playing both sides of the House (which he has) and that her main goal is now to set things up so that Nick will follow her out the door. Nick, realizing that Christie’s mad at him, talked to her earlier today and basically said that he hadn’t betrayed her and that he felt really guilty about not winning the HoH or the veto. He also swore that he has only thrown one comp in the house. Christie, for her part, didn’t seem to believe a word that he was saying. Nick seems to be really panicked that Christie might reveal him to be a liar but I don’t know how much difference it would make if she did. Everyone in the House already knows better than to trust Nick.

Speaking of Nick, he’s still obsessed with getting Jessica out of the House. It sounds like Nicole and Cliff are also starting to get to the point where they also no longer feel safe in Jessica. As Nicole put it, Jessica always seems like she’s on the verge of exploding, which makes her a dangerous person to keep around.

So, we’ve got two more days until Thursday and there’s enough angry people in the house that it seems like we should get at least a little drama out of the next 48 hours.
