Hi, everyone. Just a quick update:
The veto meeting was held today. Alyssa and Indy were on the block but Daniel and Kyle had won the power of veto. Up until late last night, it was still an open question as to whether or not Daniel would use the veto. Daniel knew that Taylor and Nicole would go up as the replacement nominees. Daniel wants to get Taylor out but he also knows, after what happened to Ameerah last week, that Taylor has an alliance that would probably protect her and take out Nicole instead.
It would have made strategic sense not to use the veto but this Daniel that we’re talking about. At the veto meeting, Daniel went ahead and used the veto. Monte replaced Alyssa and Indy with Taylor and Nicole. Why did Daniel use the veto? He may be saying that it’s because he wants to take out Taylor but really, it’s more that he’s trying to get in good with the people who voted out Ameerah. Daniel knows that his old alliance is outnumbered and he’s hoping to make a new alliance in the House. I don’t think it will work though. The Leftovers have been talking about taking out Daniel next week.
If Daniel had not used his veto, Kyle would have been forced to use his and Taylor and Nicole would have still gone up. But Daniel saved Kyle from having to make a big move that would have potentially revealed his alliance.
Daniel’s not very good at this game.
For now, though, it’s Nicole and Taylor on the block and Nicole is the target. Nicole knows that she’s probably going to go home on Thursday so right now, she’s talking about how she’s proud to have played the game with integrity and that she’s happy no matter what happens. We shall see how long that lasts. Nicole is pretty angry with Daniel right now. If she makes it all the way through Thursday without blowing up at either him or Taylor, I’ll be shocked.
Daniel is the worst super fan ever.
