Last night’s show highlighted the coaches competition. There was a Big Brother gym and the coaches had to compete on some really weird gym equipment. Each round eliminated one coach and that coach had to open a locker with a prize or not (as in Brittany’s case). The first exercise involved moving back and forth on a “rocking horse” type gadget. I hate to be vulgar, but did that remind anyone else of anything? I’ll leave it there! Brittany (of course) came in last. Her locker card said that she had to pick two people to be Have Nots for the week. Once again, Ian volunteered. His theory is that the players will keep him around if he keeps volunteering. Brittany picked Joe as the second Have Not since he’s never been one.
The second activity involved hip action. This one eliminated Boogie. His locker had a card worth $10,000. It was divided up into three amounts $6,000, $3,000 and $1,000. It was up to Boogie who got what. Greedy rich man that he is, he kept the $6,000 for himself. Frank gave him the go ahead to give the money to his teammates. That was really nice of Frank, I thought! Boogie gave Ian the $3,000 and Jenn the $1,000. Ian was very emotional. He said he’s never had that much money at one time and was very grateful. Boogie did comment (not on the show) that he thought about asking if he could switch and give Ian the $6,000 instead. He hadn’t realized how important it was to him.
The third activity involved flicking a switch back and forth with your tongue. Janelle excelled at this. I couldn’t help but think…well, never mind! Dan picked the next card which was a sushi party for him and five HG’s. He chose all three coaches, Danielle and the HOH Shane.
Since Janelle was the winner she had the option of trading a player or declaring a player safe. Since she knew that Shane was going after Wil this week, she chose to give Wil his key.
Wil being safe threw the house into a bit of a spin. Now Shane had to decide if he would go back on his decision of keeping Frank safe. I think Brittany is a PIA with Shane. If I were him, I’d be telling her to just go sit down and shut up. When all was said and done, Shane put Joe and Ashley on the block. Ashley was crying big crocodile tears in the DR one minute and then smiling the next.
Spoiler time…
Shane once again wins the POV. He is now deciding if he wants to keep the nominations the same or change them up. Janelle is playing for all she’s worth and swearing allegiance if he will switch it up and nominate Frank. Before bed last night, Janelle, Brittany, Shane, Danielle, Ian, Ashley and Wil had a meeting up in the HOH and it was decided that Frank would be put up and out the door this week. Shane went downstairs to give the good news to Joe.
I had a thought I wanted to share. You know how it’s always announced that America is voting to give the coach a “choice” to enter the game. Maybe the plan is to have the Coaches Competition and whoever wins it has the choice to enter the game. What do you think about that?
As the comment section shows, a LARGE number of you are voting NO to the coaches entering the game. A number of past Reality game players are totally PO’d about Big Brother even considering this. I also read that JoJo has not surfaced on any social media giving the indication that she is in sequester, so I guess we shall see!

It’s good to hear that past Reality game players are as pissed as the fans. I really hope we don’t get screwed by CBS and they are fair about the voting. Do I believe that for a minute? HELL NO!

I have a question : when viewers vote /text does that generate revenue for network?
I really think the coaches were brought in to have more flexible avenues to text and shift he game in case the house guests didn’t live up to our expectations
I think casting should be a competition in itself and that would be more telling than video interviews
They could make money of that too
I have many more ideas !

I agree that Joe needs to go. He really has an attitude when he is crossed. He makes me nervous. AND, I think Shane is an idiot for letting everyone else tell him what to do. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. His word means absolutely nothing and I’m sorry at this point, it should mean something.

I hope the coaches do come back, maybe that will spark some fear in the HG’s and they will start to show some game playing. In my opinion 90% of the HG’s are floaters this year.

What is wrong with Shane? I think he is one short of a six pack and Brit and Janelle have it. Kiwi, I didn’t know either, that he was the son of Sid Vicious. I really want to say I will no longer watch the show if coaches come back, but what good would that do? I am one person and BB doesn’t care.

I read on spoilers that after booger saw how much the money meant to Ian, that he asked if he could give him the 6000.00 that would be great because I think the kid needs it more than booger , I still dont want booger to win. Iam kinda liking Ian more, he is just so happy to be on the show also read that Ashley must be as dump as she looks or stoned when she thinks she is playing for 5million I dont look that bad when I take my pain meds. I see where Canada is going to do a BB in ther winter, wished I could watch it. I guess I will watch BB until the end , but wished they would just leave it alone and quit making all the changes. they need to start reading the blogs and see what their fans want, just throw 14 people in the house and let them play the game liked it used to be, we are simple people we dont needs all the twists, just good players and some one to root for. as for now I dont have any one until they start playing for theirselfs. it bad when even the coaches say that it is unfair to the HGs for them to come in the game .

Agree with you. Starting to like Ian more. The way he reacted to getting that $3,000 was so touching and he is one player who gets the game and would be a gracious and appreciative winner. No cockiness at all on his part and didn’t like the way Boogie celebrated when giving himself the $6K. Humble apparently not n his vocabulary but I imagine when you need a different hat for every day of the week it can get pretty expensive.

I fear the writing is on the wall and the newbies will need Frank (and would have possibly need Willie although we know he wouldn’t likely made it to this point) if they are to join forces and beat the Coaches should they enter and team together. This could get good if the Newbies can rally and knock off the Coaches but could get worse if the Coaches enter, dominate and end up playing each other in the end.
And I can hear it here and on Twitter already. People gonna lose their minds! Maybe that’s what they wanted?!?! This Thursday will be interesting.

Big Brother’s Thursday show (week of July 9-15) was #9 in the ratings with 7.2 million viewers while both the Wednesday and Sunday shows not even cracking the Top 20. I remember when all three shows were ALWAYS in the Top 20. For some context, a [R] of “NCIS” was #4 with 8.4 million viewers and a closer examination of the numbers reveals the Wednesday and Sunday shows are well below a “Three And a Half Men” rerun which garnered 5.1 million viewers and the #20 spot on the list.

At this point in time I dont think even the HGs even know whats going on it changes every 15min. they are going to keep Joe and not put up Frank now they put up Frank and they are getting rid of joe, and now they are going to get rid of Frank give them another 15min. and Joe will be going home are these people on drugs or what, its like watching a ping pong match. I dont think anyone knows what they are doing. they had better get their sh”t togather if not the coaches will mop the floor with them they have heard for over a week that the coaches might be comming into the game. well all we can do is wait and see what happens.

Frank is in the pool talking to Shane and Danielle beside the pool. Shane is reassuring Frank that he is fine and that they can talk each day to make sure he feels okay. Shane tells him that they have votes to get rid of Joe. He says that he had to put Frank up so that Boogie’s team doesn’t dictate what happens. Shane says he doesn’t have a vote but says that Frank has his team’s votes and there is another person who is 100% on board (Danielle).

I hope Shane is trying to take his game to a different level. By putting Frank up he can convince Janelle’s team he and Frank don’t have a F2 deal. Totally exposes his “alliance” with Danielle if she votes to keep Frank – if those are truly Shane’s wishes at this point. I don’t have live feeds and do have a migraine so I’m hoping to get more info on BBAD tonight.

So now Wil is working on Danielle to get Frank voted out. Sure sounds like Danielle is buyin into it. Wil promised Danielle that she wont go on the block next week no matter what. He says that he would even put up one of his own because we (Janelle’s team) would have the votes.
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but if Wil puts up one of his own team… that means Wil is HOH and can’t vote except in a tie. Right? It also means that the person from his team that is on the block can’t vote. Right?
Assuming Frank is voted out(?)… and Wil does win HOH and follow through with his promise…. then Janelle’s team only has ONE of the FOUR votes next week (coaches entering the game aside.. because they don’t know that for sure yet).
Wil concludes the conversation with, “I have to go poop”. 😮 Hmmm… sounds about right at this point. I hope Danielle will take a good look at the memory wall and realize just how full of shit your promise has to be…. the numbers speak for themselves.
And Wil is hoping the next HOH comp is sitting on something.. and spinning. 😕 ..I’ll leave it at that.

Hi Kevin, Even though Dick doesn’t like the Idea about the Vets going in the game, I find it strange that CBS did not ask him back, it would have been a great season, people were so disappointed last time, that surprised me. Grodner really is a piece of work, she uses this expect the unexpected crap as much as possible, meanwhile she is turning off the viewers, if they wanted to do this they should have just made it newbies vs. vets from the beginning, don’t pretend about this coaching stuff. I really think Dick would have jumped at the chance of trying to win this game again. It figures that had some clause in the contract trying to cover all there bases. I am rooting for Shane now, I really hope he didn’t screw himself by nominating Frank. But I still would rather see Joe go, that guy bugs the crap out of me. Kevin, Breaking Bad keeps getting Better and Better, I really look forward to seeing it, and watch it several times. Goodnight K11

Just watched RTVzone and it was ED ranting for 30 minutes about this all (“unfair, unfair, unfair.”) Again said this will be his last season watching (still doubt it) and will only do so because of the subscribers to “Dick at Nite” who paid $9.99 for entire season of shows. I really think heads (plural) will roll at CBS because of this. If I were one of the newbies I’d really be pissed. Not only do the Coaches have game experience but they get to enter after 5 HGs have left? Did they not think us fans would lose our flipping gourds?

All I can say about Bolton is that the “Wanderers” is one of the coolest nicknames in sports. And they’ll be back in the EPL someday, mark my words. For how long? That’s up to them.
Also, have found so many parallels between the Olympics and BB14. The most obvious being that everything I see happening on my TV screen has already happened HOURS AGO on my computer. Sort of takes the fun out of both but thus is the age of instant news. Makes me wonder how I survived without a computer for two years. And I always love it when someone on Twitter is angry that someone else “spoiled” an Olympic or BB result when they are the ones controlling who they follow and what they are looking at on THEIR computer. Nimrod nation.
Major respect to the few people out there who avoid all Olympic and BB info so they can enjoy it in prime time although I’ll never be in that boat. And another common denominator between the Olympics and BB: NBC shows the stuff tape delayed in prime time to generate maximum advertising dollars from the sponsors and CBS has millions text (at a $1 a pop) and pushes the Live Feeds to generate income. And from what I have heard, the Live Feeds aren’t as great as some thought they’d be and the fish tank comes up at crucial points too much there. Alright, off my soap box. Time to watch the tape-delayed Olympics.

So caught up in BB-bitching forgot to respond to the real BB now: Breaking Bad. I have completely run out of sufficient adjectives to describe this show. Loved seeing Walter sitting on the couch next to Jessie’s son thinking of all that was running through his (Walt’s mind). Writers get an A+++++++++++++++.
And that scene when they were splitting up the money was incredible. You can tell Walter’s not going to be able to live with that and that he and Mike will lock horns real soon. Loved how Jessie tried to push $120K of his money in to try to prevent a fight between a crocodile and an alligator. Epic stuff. Really think this may be the best show in television history. And like you, I’ll watch last night’s episode again this week. I have NEVER done that with any TV show ever as I am about as patient as bee. Sorry for the BBad talk but at least that show leaves me feeling satisfied. And ironic a show about making blue methamphetamine in New Mexico does that while a show with Mike Boogie, Janelle, Dan and Britney humping a weight bench leaves me feeling empty. Strange, strange world in which we now live. Later gator.

Janelle and Dan have seemingly cut a deal to work together “when” Coaches enter the game. Can’t wait to see Boogie’s face when Frank gets the boot Thursday (Joe playing up the “sad I’m being out” thing) and later in the game when he realizes Janelle-Dan gunning for him. This I will enjoy.

I wonder why CBS didn’t bring back Dick? I think he’s probably mad because he wasn’t asked again, I know he wanted to be on the show again. Sure He thinks it’s unfair because he’s not there. I don’t think he would feel that way if he was. I can’t imagine him never watching again, he’s too big a fan and most of us don’t like certain things but will still watch because we have been watching since the beginning.
As Far as Breaking Bad goes, I can’t get enough of that show, i could see those episodes over and over, what a great show that is with an amazing cast. It’s really amazing how much Walt has changed, he seems like he could be worse than Gus ever was. I feel sorry for skylar, it was clear she didn’t want him to move back in but was too scared to say otherwise.
I see skylar heading for a nervous breakdown, she’s already on the edge, and I think walt will give her the final push. I think Walt could be capable of almost anything now. What would happen if skylar does get the courage to finally leave him and try to get sole custody of there child. I can see Walt playing alot of hardball.
As far as mike goes, what a great character he is, I remember Jonathon from so many Tv or movie stuff, he’s around 65 years old now. I think he had a certain amount of respect for Walt in the early days while working for Gus, now he can’t stand him. What is funny he couldn’t stand Jesse once, now he has respect for him.
I used to think Jesse was such a punk ass at one time, I didn’t like him much, but who would have thought he would end up the more ethical one. He has really learned alot. And is someone who actually has a conscience, that is so good to see. Walt I’m not so sure about anymore, I think now he could be capable of almost anything. His own wife is scared to death of him, so that speaks volumes. And then at the end of the last episode, he hints to Jesse about killing Mike, Jesse looked very shocked.
Sorry for the long post, I just love the show. The shows i like most are Dexter, Trueblood, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. So K11, feel free to discuss about any of those anytime. Take care

It really looks like it will be Frank, I really wish it was Joe, of course joe was on there again last night running his mouth about Frank, I don’t think he’s a bad guy he’s just playing the game. What joe and Janelle were most worried about was wil’s vote, they are not sure he will vote out Frank because he has a crush on Frank and he knows it so he’s using it to his advantage. He didn’t like it when Janelle bad mouthed Frank and now she thinks Wil is mad at her. Wake up and smell the coffee buddy Frank is not gay. look forward tonight it should be interesting, let me know if you hear anything.

I did forget to mention I love the shows HOMELAND, And AMERICAN HORROR STORY. If you have not seen Homeland it’s very well written and has a great cast. American Horror Story is a very Bizarre show, you have to pay close attention too or you will miss something, but it was a cool ride. Fran and JT both like those shows as well.

Janelle and Joe were talking alot last night, they are not sure how he will vote, she thinks he’s mad at her because she was bad mouthing Frank. And they think he has somewhat of a crush on Frank, so maybe Frank has him on his side. we shall see. I wish it was Joe going, but it seems doubtful. although on the feeds now, Joe does not seem to be in a great mood.

Just watched last nights episode and the BRIT (BRAT) sobbing that she doesn’t have it in her to be a bad person. Does she hear herself when she trashes everybody else (which I love and appreciate) plus Janelle has turned on everyone when they aren’t in power at least once.
