Let’s Open Up The Diary Room One Final Time!

Hi y’all!

Well, as I sit here typing this, it’s a little bit past midnight my time so it’s now time to open up the diary room one final time!

As of right now, there are five houseguests left in the house. Ross is not only the HoH but, earlier today, he also won the power of veto. He chose not to use it, leaving Omarosa and Ari on the block with Omarosa as his target. That doesn’t necessarily mean that Omarosa is going home, of course. If both Mark and Marissa vote against the HoH’s wishes, Omarosa can stay. Or if Omarosa convinces Ross that Ari is a bigger threat to win, Ross might change his mind.

So, it’s still anyone’s game. I’m opening up the diary room now to ask you — who do you want to win Celebrity Big Brother?

Thank you everyone for sticking with this blog over the course of this mini-season. Celebrity Big Brother’s been a lot of fun and I think the regular show could stand to learn a few things from how well this season has gone! I can’t wait to see who wins. Personally, I’m voting for Ari.

I would love for Ross to win. But if he can’t win – then Mark. I can’t see Marissa or Ari or Omarosa winning. Ross because of the wins, and strategy of setting himself up with all individuals (GREAT GAME PLAY). Or Mark no blood, no drama. Unfortunately Ari aligned herself with drunken Brandi. Omarosa lied her way through everything. She threw people under the buss for lying – while she lied about nearly everything and protested way too much when people called her out. And, I just don’t see Marissa winning. But you never know. It’s anyone’s game at this point. Depends on the challenges and who wins those. Guess we will all know by tomorrow night.

Of all the guests left at the house, I can’t think of anyone who would make me excited if they won. I go along with Lisa and Jeanne! Of all the players left, Ari has, in my opinion, been the most honest. She has won challenges, tried to play the game with character, and you can’t help but love her. She is so beautiful and has an innocence about her. Tonight on BBAD she wanted to know if someone would adopt her. She has nowhere to go after the show! 😢. I’ll adopt her! ❤ I want to see Omarosa go tomorrow! Then Marissa! 🔜

Jolee. I saw that and wasn’t sure if she was kidding ir what. She has a family in Columbia. Is it that she wants to stay in Calf? I’m sure Marisa or Ross would let her be a house guest for awhile. For a grown woman who won a title for a country, she sure likes to play the innocent baby card. I do like her and think she’s sweet there’s just something weird about the vibe she gives off that everyone wants to pet and cuddle her. And take care of her. It’s a little strange. IMO. Which is why I wouldn’t vote for her to win. She was brought along protectively by all. I just dont feel she’s earned it.

They gave Brandi a very hard time because she wanted to give Shannon one vote, but since then, the votes have not been unanimous! Jolee: I understand why you think what you do about Ari, but
there is much more to the story. She is looking for permanent
residence in the USA. She has backers, agents, and pageant
sponsors that are looking after her. She is definitely not alone
in this country. Someone was responsible for pushing for her
to be on this show. But she’s looking for an easy way to stay.
If she could get married, I am sure she might take that route,
too, if offered. She can always go back to Colombia to visit or
once citizenship is established bring her family to America.
It is plain she loves being in America and wants to stay. Can’t
blame her for that, but she is not as honest and innocent as
she likes to pretend. She’s an actress, and that is part of the
pagentry game. It is as dirty and political as real politics most
of the time. Her accent helps her. Look at how women in
America love British or French accents!

And I was thinking.., how did she even get on the radar for CBB?? So yeah. It’s all been a plan from the beginning. And her innocent baby act is half real.. she’s used to be handled and taken care of…. and half acting as you say. She wants to endear herself to America so we find a way for her to stay!! Very clever. And much more deceitful than Ross ever thot if being. His was solely for gameplay. Hers is HER!!! And that’s the under feeling I was getting. Plus honestly, I’d rather give the money to donie who’s going to keep it in the country.

Ross is a snake as I have said all along straight up – I would prefer Omarosa, or Ariadna, go Columbia – one of my brothers, Danny, a vietnam vet who lives in columbia VVet I have 4 \ vet bros Bob, who is a nurse in Raleigh, Danny a vet in Columbia, George, an organic farmer in Idaho, and Pat a reporter for BBC – my bros are amazing, but my oldest brother who had a lot of experience with the “opposition” said he’d prefer it to the BB house – his daughters are fans!

Being a long time fan and addict of B.B., I have to vote for the HG that I think really played the game. Strategically, socially, physically… and to me the only person focused on the game and winning it from day one is Ross. So he’s got my vote. I hope he’s sitting next to Mark because I think he can win over him.
And I want Omarosa to be evicted tonight. No surprise there. Lol

I loved having this mini BB to get us thru the winter. It was so much more fun than the summer one for so many reasons and I hope production does take the good things from this back to the next BB. It could use a shot in the arm. lol
Thanks Lisa for being our blog leader again. What would we do without you?😉 I hope we never have to find out!! 😊

Star I totally agree with you once again! I think Ross has outplayed all of them. He has played the game the way it is supposed to be played. It is a game after all where people have to deceive and scheme. Besides he makes me laugh!

I also agree with you and Sherry about Ari. She seems like a nice girl. She is trying very hard to stay in the US. Ross and Marissa were offering her to stay at their homes last night. She has really been laying it on thick with Ross. She isn’t as innocent and alone as she is trying to appear. She is gorgeous though! She also has a organic makeup line that is about to be introduced that she has talked about several times.

I also have loved this short little season. I think they need to trim down the regular show at least a couple of weeks. I also liked that there wasn’t all the showmances this time. It was great being with all of my B.B. buddies once again!

To me using a beloved show with insanly loyal followers like B.B. as your platform for getting a permanent Visa to the US is really low. I agree with you Star. Well said. Ross put himself in a real good position and is now benefiting from it. If the other HGs can’t figure it out or do anything about it that’s on them. I called Mark a dark horse earlier in the game so I wouldn’t mind seeing him pull it off. Not the best player ever but knew what he had to do to get to the end.

Mark is a perfect gentleman, intelligent and quiet and played a low key but effective game. He’s my first choice with Ross second only because he “played the game” as a first rate sneak.

I vote for Ross to win – he played the best game although many don’t like houseguests who do that. Omarosa played a great villain game but I just can’t stand the way she trash talked about her previous boss and co-workers. Not cool…. But she did show how easily she lied about everything so I would suspect there were mostly lies in those stories as well. I hope she is voted out next. Then Marissa – then good luck to the three remaining houseguests!

I vote for Ross. As for people saying he was sneaky making alliances with everyone, this is B.B. people! That’s how you make it to the finale! You can see that it was difficult for him to vote out those people who he had truly cared about (Shannon, Brandy and James). I think he is an honest, caring person by nature and a true fan of the show.

Sirrock February 25, 2018 at 5:48 pm: Star – it winner gets $250k for their charity. Never heard if 2nd gets anything. As far as payment, they’re for sure ALL getting paid a negotiated fee for their appearance. My guess is they all get something different due to their star power and strength of their agents negotiating. I’d be willing to wager Omarosa is getting paid the most due to her White House connection. They probably even agreed upon a set number of anecdotes about Trump she would have to provide (kidfing…but not really). Its all about ratings. Omarosa creates news when she talks about Trump.

I would like for Mark to win and gave my reasons why on the
previous post. I think Ross knew and understood more about the game than any other player, including Shannon. I think that gave
him an advantage the others could have had also, if they had really
studied past shows before coming on the show. But I don’t think
he played as honest of a game as Mark. Mark played with no
dramatics and no phony deals. Anyway Mark has my vote. If Ross
wins, that’s okay, too, but not my main preference.

I’ve been “team Ross” all season. I just like him. He’s really funny, and in a kind way… he’s played a good game, though a few times, made questionable moves that made me raise an eyebrow or two!

I’ve actually grown to really like Mark, though I had no idea who he was when it started…

And Ari… likable enough and probably could have won me over but for her “bestie” friendship with the annoyingly disgusting over botoxed Brandi…

Omarosa… good choice for CBB, we needed a villain to despise… so thank you BB casting… and that big bag of obsessively blowing hot air Marissa… not a fan here, though Ross seems to delight in her constant babbling…

Ross or Mark… either is fine with me… it’s been a quick and enjoyable season and I’m glad that I watched and chatted here. Thanks Lisa Marie & all… for making reality tv so much more enjoyable for me!!

Did you see Marissa trying to exercise this morning. I think it’s the only time I’ve seen her that she wasn’t talking!!! It was hilarious! She was trying to do sit-ups and never made one. She was huffing and puffing like crazy. Wonder why she picked the last day to exercise? Lol

Sherry and Marcella, I agree with your comments about Omarosa being given the spotlight last night to rant about her experiences in the Whitehouse! She is a very vindictive person! She showed that side of herself during the Apprentice, and from what I have heard, also in other shows she has been on. I was just checking my Facebook Memories from last year, and there was a picture of President Trump at his desk surrounded by several people, and front and center with a big smile on her face was Omarosa!!! I just posted it on Facebook! 😊

Star…. no this money is not for charity. Shannon was telling everyone at the beginning of the show that she wanted to win the money so she could help out her animal charities. They have almost all talked about what they are going to do with the money. James was talking about buying a fancy car, Marissa said she didn’t need the money, Mark was going to blow the money on ridiculous play things, Ross said he wanted to help his mother more with her cancer treatments, Brandi needed the money to pay her bills and her cosmetic and hair stuff. Omarosa or Chuck never said what they were going to do with the money that I heard. Ari just needs the money as she is not as well off as the rest.

Marissa was very vocal about second place not being worth the Trouble that she was just there for exposure!! Not sure she’s going to like the exposure that she has received!

Margie. I had heard them say all of that so it was Shannon talking about her charity the threw me. So different for celebs who are going to use the money for toys or don’t need it at all and the summer HGS who actually need the money!! Doesn’t endear me any more to Marisa to hear her talking about not needing the money and being g so dismissive of it. She was bragging last nite about how BIG her pool was too. Is she really that huge a star? Only thing I know her from is that production of Grease? Not even sure that’s it. But then if she’s on Broadway I wouldn’t know anything about her anyway.

Supposedly Omarosa is getting 2 million and the promise of a talk show.
I was under the impression each person was getting a stipend (as those in the other seasons).
I think they could have come up with better and more interesting players for CBB.

I’d have to say I vote for Ross to win. He’s played a good social came and when it’s counted he’s been a comp beast.
I’ve really enjoyed this season and I hope they will do it again.

I think it was Metta that was going to give his cut to charity – the rest of them want to keep the money. (or at least thats what I gathered)

Brandi lost her job on Real Housewives and was on another reality show last year. She needs the money – esp. to afford all of her ‘beauty’ products!

Celebrity BB in the UK played for charity in the past – but in this US version… the celebs get the money for themselves. What probably confused everyone was Shannon’s talk about her charity – which is basically her job and her home in South Africa. I thought I read that Marissa said she is hoping her husband got the job he was seeking – because if not…. they were going to need money. I think Marissa may be bragging a bit to elevate herself to stardom status. She starred in Hairspray but now works as a director or something like that. I don’t think it is steady work.

I don’t really care who wins tonight, however, I don’t want Marissa to win. Not so much as her incessant talking is mind numbing as I said week one, but because she spoke last night BBAD as if she wasn’t trying to win. I’m. It really sure why Ari isn’t fighting for it but that may be her strategy. I think Celebrity BB has changed the game…it was so much more enjoyable than the Summer series with attractive 20somethings with nothing more to do than wreak havoc, cause drama and look for hookups. We always said that they need older houseguests and now I’m sure of it. I’m not looking forward to going backward so I hope production learns from this experiment. I enjoyed all of your comments. Thank you Lisa!

@Margie…last night Marissa had an “enlightened”moment imagining herself as a diet company spokesperson. I imagine that’s why she started working out on the last day.

Marcella …. I couldn’t have said it better! Shannon influenced Metta as well as Chuck. Did you see her on The Talk when Julie asked how they were going to vote? Metta immediately said Ross and she said no you’re not voting for him to win. IMHO she, Keisha and James were bitter losers. I don’t know why Keisha would resent Ross so much….she begged to leave and should not have even been allowed to vote.

They didn’t mention anything about giving the money to charity. In fact, Marissa said her son was going to get that item that he wanted.

I’ve enjoyed this ‘brief’ season and wish they would trim down the summer season at least a couple of weeks.

Thanks Lisa for all your updates and I’ll see all of my B.B. friends in June!! !

I’m glad this season was a short one… I have trouble during the school year committing to anything but school and my boys cattle raising ( thank goodness for their dad!!)

I really enjoyed watching this shortened season, even though I had thought I wouldn’t even watch at all.. wasn’t interested in watching “ has-beens”… and then I got my first Preshow Lisa Marie email post link!

It will be interesting to see if BB can pull off another CBB next year… though It coincides with Rodeo here in San Antonio… which makes it hard for me to watch every show when aired… I guess, I too, am addicted!

Not since Jeff and Jordan…From the start I enjoyed the humor, genuine friendship and loyalty between Ross and Marissa. They were so fun to watch and listen to. Favorite moments were when Ross proposed backdooring Shannon and Marissa burst out laughing and said ‘Its crazy but, okay.’ And you should all go back on the feeds to the 11th starting about 12:35am when they were both in the HOH room laughing so hard about the possibility of Metta being America’s player. How many times they said wouldn’t it be hilarious if we were in the final two? I was hoping and wishing. Really enjoyed this CBB season!

I am surprised that I am very pleased about the outcome of this season! In the end, I have to agree with the celebrities! At the first I was rooting for Ross, but then when Marissa won, I was happy for her and her son! ❤ 😊

Not sure there were BY interviews. Hadn’t heard them
Mentioned. But I didn’t get LFS so couldn’t watch anyway.

I’m still pouting that Ross didn’t win too. It definitely should have been his game. Merida didn’t deserve it or “ need the money”. Smh oh well not the first time I did t agree with the BB winner and I’m sure it won’t be the last. 👎🏻🤷‍♀️

I knew Marissa had it the moment Ross gave his final speech. The
hgs were able to watch the truth behind everyone’s words and
actions and came with some already pretty solid preferences.
But as James said, some of them changed their votes after his
speech. He committed the biggest error of his game. He took
credit for two HOHs he was given and didn’t actually win. He
was always so excited about his wins and never once owned the
fact he had them given to him. So that was the most dishonest
thing he did. I think Ross got a little too cocky there at the end.
So I was actually glad Marissa won. She drove me crazy with her
constant loud voice and cackling. But in the end she chose to be
loyal, as Ross would NOT have done for her. He wanted to take
Mark over her. He wanted to win at all costs. He was willing to
give up every vestige of honor and loyalty to win. It backfired on
him. Yes, it’s BB, but taking credit for things you really didn’t earn
is distasteful at best.

I found it interesting that Ross suggested getting rid of Shannon because everyone was playing her game, only for them to turn around and follow Ross’s game. It was touching how Ross asked Marissa last night if he was the villain. That is sort of how they treated him. I honestly felt that Shannon & Keshia would watch the season and understand the outcome. I regret having voted for Shannon as AFP and glad Ross won. Nothing worse than Shannon, Keshia & Omarosa’s poor sportsmanship. Geez, I said it didn’t matter to me who won but I guess it did haha

I thought Omarossa was just obnoxious and awful spouting God and then Julie trying to get her to talk about Trump during her exit interview – that just made no sense to me.
When they had the skiing HOH I was yelling at the tv for her to shut up – I would have zero interest in hearing “her” version of her life story – ugh.

I really wanted Mark to win, but Marissa was ok. The last HOH and no veto I didn’t like.

Let’s face it – all of these people had an agenda coming on this show. Either they needed the $250K or their agents talked them into it for something else they are promoting. example – Metta doesn’t need the $$ and he had no clue about the show, so why? I read that he has been involved in a couple of tv shows, so that could be it.
