No surprises to report tonight.
The veto meeting was held today.
Kyland did not use the veto. I don’t think anyone was expecting him to so, as I said, no surprises. Tiffany remains the target. At this point, she might get Azah’s vote to stay but Xavier and Derek F. are both planning on voting to evict her so Tiffany’s days are numbered.
None of the Houseguests appear to suspect that there’s going to be a double eviction this week. Who will be following Tiffany out the door? It depends on who wins HoH. It looks like the season really is going to come down to Men vs. Women and, as soon as Tiffany goes, the women are going to be outnumbered. On the plus side, for the women, only Xavier and Derek F. are going to be able to compete for HoH and, given Derek F.’s history with comps, it’s probable that only Xavier is a threat to win. If Azah or Hannah wins HoH and nominates Xavier, they could get rid of the biggest threat in the game. If, for some reason, Azah and Hannah don’t get rid of Xavier when they have the opportunity then they might as well just give him the money and declare him to be the winner. I don’t see anyone beating him in a final two situation.
We’ll see what happens! As of right now, though, Tiffany is on her way out.

Well, it had to happen.
We’ve reached that point in the game, the point where strategizing and campaigning no longer matters (not that campaigning ever really mattered this season). Now, it pretty much comes down to who wins the comps. For instance, on Thursday night, Kyland won the HoH comp. Tiffany and Hannah ended up on the block. If Tiffany or Hannah had won HoH, Kyland would probably be the one on the block. Instead, Kyland pulled out a win when he needed it and, as a result, he’s one step closer to the final two.
Tiffany is the target and Xavier, Derek F., and Azah all want her gone (though Azah has said that she might throw Tiffany a sympathy vote, just so its not a unanimous eviction). Tiffany, in other words, had to win the veto if she wanted to continue on in the game.
Well, she didn’t.
Yesterday, the veto was won by Kyland. Kyland has all of the power this week. Kyland wants Tiffany gone and so Tiffany will probably be leaving on Thursday. Since it’s a double eviction, someone else will be leaving right behind her.
For the record, Tiffany has said that she’s not just going to accept her fate. She is going to campaign and she’s is going to try to convince Kyland to use the veto on her. I don’t see it working though but we’ll find out for sure tomorrow!
Until then,

Hi, everyone!
Just a quick update. After last night’s double eviction, Kyland won the HoH comp. The comp was not on the feeds so I don’t know much about it but the important thing is that Kyland is now HoH. That’s good news for Xavier and Derek F. but bad news for three women.
Kyland has been handling his second HoH in much the same fashion as his first — he’s been doing a lot of talking. That said, for all the time he spent talking about all of the options, it was pretty much clear from the start that Kyland was going to nominate Hannah and Tiffany for eviction. Tiffany, after all, sent Sarah Beth out of the House and Hannah nominated Kyland during the double.
So, Hannah and Tiffany are now on the block. Tiffany is the target so if she doesn’t win the veto, she’s probably going to be the first person to leave during next week’s double eviction.
The veto comp is tomorrow!

Hi, everyone!
So, if you watched tonight’s show, you know what happened and you probably weren’t surprised. Though it briefly appeared like maybe the women would be smart enough to take their shot at Xavier while they could, they instead stuck to the plan and voted out first Claire and then Alyssa. Claire was visibly angry as she left. Alyssa seemed to believe that she was voted out because she was viewed as being a threat. No, Alyssa. No one saw you as a threat. You just weren’t a part of the Cookout.
To recap, it went like this:
Claire was evicted.
Hannah won HoH.
Hannah nominated Xavier and Alyssa for eviction. She told Alyssa that Alyssa was just a pawn and Alyssa believed her.
The veto competition was easily won by Xavier, showing that he can compete when he has to and that maybe he wasn’t totally sure that he wasn’t about the get blindsided. In fact, Xavier won so easily that it should have reminded everyone in the House just how difficult it’s going to be to get another opportunity to take a shot at him.
Xavier used the veto on himself. Hannah put up Kyland as a replacement. (Kyland was visibly angry at being nominated, even though it was obvious Alyssa was going to go.)
Alyssa was then voted out by a vote of 3-1. Only Xavier votes for her to stay but he only did that because he knew everyone else was going to vote her out.
So, the Cookout got what they wanted. They’re the top 6 and now it’s probably going to be women vs. men. The feeds just went down for the HoH comp. Before they went down, Xavier told Derek F. that he wants to win this HoH and then Derek F, needs to win the next HoH and then Xavier needs to win again. So, apparently, Xavier doesn’t want either Kyland or any of the women winning the HoH comp. But imagine have a strategy that depends on Derek F. actually winning something. Yikes!
If Xavier or Derek F. wins the HoH comp, Hannah and Tiffany will go on the block. If Tiffany wins, it’ll probably be Xavier and Kyland on the block. Who knows what Kyland or Azah will do if they win.
Next week, it’s another double eviction! This season will be over before you know it.

Hi, everyone!
Well, it’s time to open up the diary room for Week 9 and you’ll have to excuse me if I’m not very happy about it. Our two nominees are Claire and Xavier. Xavier is clearly the one who should be voted out because this might be the last chance to do so and, should Xavier make it to the end, he’s going to win the game.
But no. Claire is going to go on Thursday and then Alyssa will probably follow right after her. The Cookout stuck together like they said they would. Give them credit for that but I think that Tiffany is going to regret the choices she made this week.
Anyway, with that all in mind, how do you vote?
Do you vote to evict
CLAIRE, who could easily be voted out any week after this one
or
XAVIER, the much bigger threat who will probably never be on the block again?
Cast you vote in the poll over on the right side of the page or in the comments below! And then watch on Thursday for the season’s first double eviction episode!

Today was the veto meeting. Alyssa was clearly planning on using the veto to take herself off the block, meaning that the Cookout would then expect Tiffany to nominate Claire as a replacement.
Tiffany doesn’t want to lose Claire so she came up with a plan this morning. She tried to convince Alyssa to use the veto on Xavier! Tiffany tried to convince Alyssa that, if she used the veto on Xavier, Alyssa would be some sort of hero in the House and that everyone would want to work with her. Of course, Tiffany’s real plan was for Alyssa to stay on the block and get voted out on Thursday.
Alyssa didn’t go for that plan, of course. And Xavier is furious about it because, to him, it shows that Tiffany is more interested in playing for herself than for playing for the Cookout. Of course, the same could be said about Xavier but Xavier will never win points for self-awareness.
Anyway, at the veto meeting, Alyssa used the veto on herself and Tiffany nominated Claire as a replacement. Tiffany is now going to lose her biggest ally in the House. If she had nominated either Derek F. or Kyland, the women would have a majority in the House after the eviction vote and, even if he did say, Xavier would be weakened. Instead, Tiffany is basically setting herself up to be voted out as soon as one of the men wins HoH.
The thing is, I think everyone in the House realizes that it would be foolish to go to the final two with Xavier. And this vote would be a perfect opportunity to get rid of him. But the men aren’t going to vote to evict Xavier because they want him to take out TIffany. And even if Azah and Hannah voted to evict Xavier, they would still have to convince Alyssa to vote with them and there’s not much chance of that happening.
So, as of right now, it looks like Claire will be going to jury on Thursday, the first victim of the double eviction.

Hi, everyone!
Sorry for the late update! I hope everyone’s having a good holiday weekend.
It briefly looked like things might get interesting yesterday when Alyssa won the veto. Xavier and Derek F. had been talking about throwing the veto comp and making sure that Alyssa won so that Tiffany would be forced to put Claire on the block. I’m not sure if Xavier went through with his plan or if Alyssa legitimately won that veto but the important thing is that Alyssa won it.
Alyssa now has the veto and she’s going to use it on herself. Last week, Tiffany was talking about how she doesn’t trust Xavier and it would make more sense to either blindside him or put up on one of his allies like Derek F. than to go after Claire. So, I thought that might happen this week.
Well, it’s not. Shortly after the veto comp, Tiffany had one of her private conversations with the cameras in which she explained that she hated to put Claire up but that’s what she was going to have to do. So, Claire is going up and will probably go home on Thursday and, unless Alyssa wins HoH or the veto during the double eviction, Alyssa will probably follow her out the door.
The Cookout is still extremely paranoid about having their alliance revealed because they think there’s a chance a juror will return to the House. So, they’ve all been working on Alyssa and trying to convince Alyssa that Claire would be the smart replacement nominee. (The fear is that Alyssa will realize there’s an alliance if Tiffany, out-of-nowhere, uses her closest alley as a replacement.) Xavier and Hannah have both been laying it on thick, telling Alyssa what a threat Claire is. I think they’re almost hoping that they’ll be able to convince Alyssa to go upstairs and beg Tiffany to target Claire. Alyssa’s not quite that dumb, though. She definitely seems to realize that there’s an alliance, even if she doesn’t realize that Xavier’s the one in charge of it.
The veto meeting is tomorrow!

Hey, everyone.
Just a quick update that will come as a surprise to no one.
Today, Tiffany nominated Alyssa and Xavier for eviction. Alyssa is the target. Big surprise, I know. If Alyssa wins the veto and takes herself off, Claire goes up as a replacement. If Claire wins the veto and takes Alyssa off the block, Tiffany has told the women that she’ll probably nominate Derek as the replacement.
Xavier no longer trusts Tiffany and thinks that Tiffany is going to try to start an all-women’s alliance. He’s worried that she’s going to bring Claire into the alliance so, earlier today, he and Derek discusses maybe throwing the veto so that Alyssa wins it. Their plan is to force Tiffany to prove her loyalty to the Cookout by nominating Claire. They also want Tiffany to be responsible for evicting Claire so Tiffany will lose Claire’s jury vote if Tiffany makes it to the final two.
Will it actually happen? Probably not, Alyssa, to be honest, is so bad at comps that I don’t think it’s possible to throw her a win. And, as annoyed as the Cookout Women are with the Cookout Men, I think the entire alliance is going to stick together until the Top 6. At this point, it’s a little bit late to suddenly go for a change of plans. I imagine everyone will stick to the original plan, which is get Alyssa out this week and then Claire next.
The veto comp is tomorrow!

(SPOILERS, OBVIOUSLY)
So, there really weren’t any big surprises tonight. In fact, this was one of the rare live episodes where Julie didn’t even try to convince us to expect the unexpected. Everyone knew that Sarah Beth was going to be evicted and that’s what happened, by a vote of 5-1. Tiffany did vote to keep Sarah Beth after Sarah Beth spent a long time talking to her earlier today but it doesn’t appear that Tiffany tried to get anyone else to join her in voting to keep SB.
The HoH comp was the endurance comp where the Houseguests had to hang on to a rope and the last one still suspended above the backyard won the right to be head of household. Though Claire competed, she was not eligible to win because she was this week’s HoH. Instead, she just held on long enough to prevent herself from being a Have-Not and then she threw the comp by falling off.
Alyssa desperately needed to win the comp but she was the second person to fall off. Alyssa lasted for maybe ten minutes, which is weird because this is a comp that she actually should have had a good chance of winning. Instead, Alyssa barely lasted longer than Big D.
The HoH comp lasted for about 30 minutes and it was eventually won by Tiffany. That means that Tiffany has now won two back-to-back HoH comps. And while Tiffany and all the other members of the Cookout are annoyed with Kyland right now, it appears that they’re not deviating from their plan. As of right now, it appears that Alyssa will be the target. She’ll probably go up with Xavier, so that Tiffany can claim that she’s just trying to break up a duo. If the veto is used, Clarie will be the replacement nominee. If Claire wins the veto and takes someone down, only then will Kyland presumably go up.
Nominations are tomorrow!

Hi, everyone!
So, this week has really been a snoozefest, even with the coin of destiny in play. Due to Hannah using the veto, Xavier is off the block and that leaves us with only two nominees to select from.
So, who do you vote to evict this week?
Do you vote for
KYLAND, the mastermind who pretends to be a space cadet
or
SARAH BETH, the space cadet who pretends to be a mastermind?
Cast your vote in the poll over on the right side of the page or in the comments below! And be sure to watch on Thursday to see who will be the next member of the jury!
Happy voting!
