Needless to say, the post below is a spoiler if you haven’t watched the latest eviction episode of Big Brother. So, if you don’t want to know who was voted out or if you haven’t seen the episode yet and you want to be “surprised,” don’t read any further.
Now, for the rest of us, what happened tonight really wasn’t a surprise. Frenchie was voted out of the house. The final vote was 11-1. Derek F. voted for Bittini, just as he went against the House last week and secretly voted for Alyssa. I think Derek F. is just trying to keep everyone off-balance, though it’s possible that he could have sincerely felt sorry for Frenchie and didn’t want him to be unanimously voted out of the house. Derek F. and Frenchie was fairly close when the game started so anything’s possible.
The only real suspense was whether or not Brent, who was pretty much everyone’s pick to be the next target, would win HoH and that suspense ended quickly when Brent was one of the first people to be eliminated from the HoH comp. Instead, the new HoH is Xavier and Xavier has been one of the people talking about going after Brent so it’s probable that Brent will be on the block this week. Brent has narrowly escaped being nominated for two weeks in a row but I think his luck may have run out.
We’ll find out tomorrow!

Frenchie, the super fan whose gameplay has been anything but
Or
Brittini, who hasn’t really done enough to get a silly description yet?

Hi, everyone!
So, to be honest, it’s been a fairly boring day in the Big Brother House. Frenchie and Brittini are on the block. The house is pretty much united when it comes to voting out Frenchie so it’s not as if there’s a lot of last-minute strategizing going on as far as the vote is concerned. Frenchie might get a sympathy vote from someone. Derek F. might throw in a random vote for Bittini just to make people nervous, like he did last week when he voted for Alyssa. But otherwise, there’s really no questions about who is going to leave on Thursday.
Instead, the question is more about who is going to be the next target and right now, it would appear to be that just about everyone is ready to go after Brent.
Brent has pretty much managed to alienate everyone in the house, just by being cocky and continually talking down to everyone. He’s spent most of today talking about how there’s an all-girls alliance and that, in order to even things out, two girls need to go on the block next week. (He’s specifically mentioned Azah and Birttini as his two choices.) For some reason, though, Brent decided to tell this to Hannah, Sarah Beth, and Whitney. Why would you tell three women that your entire strategy is to get all of the women out of the house!? HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE!?
It makes sense to Brent, though, and it’s probably going to get him voted out if he doesn’t win HoH on Thursday. Now, to Brent’s credit, he does seem to know that he’s going to be nominated if he doesn’t win HoH. As he explained it to Alyssa, he thinks that the girls are going to come after him and Derek X. His plan, if he’s not HoH, is to try to convince the girls that he and Christian can win challenges for them if they allow the two of them to stay in the House. That approach worked with both Frenchie and Kyland but I’m not sure how many times Brent’s going to be able to escape being put on the block. His whole attitude has just rubbed too many people the wrong way.
So, come Thursday, it’s basically going to be Brent against the House. We’ll see what happens!

So, today was the veto meeting.
Just to refresh, here’s how the house stands:
Kyland is HoH.
Frenchie and Brittini are the nominees.
Frenchie is the target.
Derek X has the veto.
Before the meeting, Frenchie made a last ditch case to Kyland, asking Kyland to ask Derek X to use the veto not on him but instead on Brittini. Frenchie framed it as wanting to go out on the block with “another competitor” like Brent or Christian but it was obvious that Frenchie just wanted Kyland to replace Brittini with someone who he could campaign against. Frenchie knows that everyone like Brittini while Brent and Christian are viewed as being threats.
Kyland, however, was not persuaded. Derek X did not use the veto and the noms remained the same.
So, in other words, we’ve got another few days to go with the Frenchie pity party. If you thought Frenchie was erratic and emotions when he was HoH, that’s nothing compared to how he is on the block. He’s spent today telling everyone that he doesn’t care, just to then turn around and say that it’s an outrage and totally unfair. He’s all over the place and if he gets to Thursday without going off on someone, I’ll be surprised.

Yesterday, we had the veto comp. Tomorrow, we have the veto meeting.
Today, we’ve got the pity party.
Oh, how Frenchie is making everyone feel guilty about their plans to vote him out! When he was first nominated, Frenchie told everyone that 1) there were going to be fireworks because he could blow up everyone’s secret alliances (even though the only secret alliances were made by him) and 2) that the only reason he was playing the game was to raise money for a children’s hospital. So, by voting him out, the houseguests were basically robbing a children’s hospital. WAY TO GO, KYLAND!
After Derek X won the veto and it became clear that he wasn’t planning on using it, Frenchie told everyone that he wasn’t mad and that he understood and that he just wanted everyone to relax and be happy during his final days in the House. He said he was at peace with it all. He did ask that everyone refrain from leaving him mean goodbye messages because his kids are going to be watching.
(Personally, I hate mean goodbye messages so I think Frenchie had every right to make that request. If I was a houseguest, I might be offended that Frenchie apparently assumed I would be that petty.)
Then, later in the night, Frenchie announced that he was just going to self-evict and then he disappeared into the diary room for hours!
Well, it’s a new day and Frenchie has not self-evicted. He either changed his mind or he was talked out of doing it. Regardless, a lot of people have been talking about how they feel bad about voting out Frenchie. Kyland actually let it be known that he was tired of Derek F. talking about how bad he felt for Frenchie. That’s not going to be enough to change Derek F.’s vote but it has been enough to make things a bit awkward between Derek and Kyland.
Still, Derek X has remained firm and he’s repeated to anyone who has asked that he’s not going to use the veto. We’ll see if that’s true tomorrow. We’ll also see if Frenchie sticks with his pledge to not start any drama in the house during his final days.

Hi, everyone!
So, they played for the veto today. And this was a veto that Frenchie absolutely knew that he had to win. He knew that if he didn’t win the veto, he’s probably going to go home on Thursday. Unfortunately, for him, he didn’t win the veto. Instead, the veto was won by….
DEREK X!
That’s right. For the 2nd week in a row, Derek X has won the veto. You have to wonder how long Derek X can continue to win comps before he starts to get a target on his back, though. For now, Derek X is not planning on using the veto and Frenchie is pretty much guaranteed to leave on Thursday. Frenchie keeps telling everyone that he’s fine with leaving and that he’s had a good time and that he wants everyone to enjoy the next few days and I’m not buying any of it for a second. Frenchie’s angry, offended, and hurt and I won’t be surprised if we see some of those promised fireworks before the week ends!
The first two weeks have been so dominated by Frenchie and his alliance-making that, when he leaves, it’s literally going to be the start of an entirely new game. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens!

Hi, everyone! Please forgive the late update!
Today, the new HoH Kyland made his nominations. From the minute that Kyland won HoH, it was been obvious that he would be targeting Frenchie. Frenchie nominated him last week and almost the entire house now wants Frenchie gone because it’s felt that he can’t be trusted and that he’s playing too hard. The only question was who would also go on the block beside Frenchie. At first, Kyland was planning on nominating Brent but Brent managed to talk him out of that, promising Kyland safety if Brent wins the next HoH.
Kyland then decided to nominate Brittini because he feels that Brittini is Frenchie’s biggest ally in the House. And that’s exactly what Kyland did at the nominations ceremony.
So, as for right now, the nominees are Frenchie and Brittini. Frenchie realizes that he’s the target and he is not happy about it. Ever since the ceremony happened, he’s been telling people that there are going to be “fireworks” this week. Frenchie says that he’s not going to leave quietly. We’ll see what that means!
The veto comp is tomorrow! If Frenchie doesn’t win, he’s probably out of here on Thursday.
Lisa Marie
P.S. The wild card comp was won by Sarah Beth. She was given the option of joining the Queens and taking away the immunity that they received when Kyland won HoH. Sarah Beth chose not to. I’m not really sure what the logic there was because it’s not like Kyland is going to nominate anyone from his team this week, regardless of whether they had immunity or not. I’m not really a huge fan of the Wild Card twist or the teams twist and I’ll be glad when their over.

Hi, everyone! Obviously, it’s spoiler time as I’m about to talk about who got voted out tonight. So, if you haven’t seen the vote yet and you don’t want to know, stop reading now!
Okay?
Okay.
So, by a vote of 11-2, Travis was evicted out of the Big Brother House. Travis did do some campaigning over the past few days and some people really did seem to feel bad about voting for him, but, in the end, everyone stuck to the plan and voted to evict him. Only TIffany and Derek F. voted to keep him. Tiffany, I think, wanted to keep Travis around because their teammates. Derek F. was probably just trying to keep everyone off-balance.
I can’t really say that I’m sorry to see Travis leave. He seems like a harmless and kind of goofy guy but he also didn’t seem like someone who was going to add much to the game. He made a big point of taking off his shirt while giving his pre-eviction speech and that was pretty much all you needed to know about Travis’s priorities. Travis was better suited for Love Island than Big Brother.
As for the HoH comp, it was won by Kyland. So, Kyland went from being nominated to being HoH! He is safe this week and so are his two remaining teammates, Claire and Tiffany. I’m going to guess that Derek X. is going to be safe as well, seeing as how he used the veto to take Kyland off the block.
So far, Kyland’s entire strategy has been based around trying to be the most likable person in the House so it’ll be interesting to see how he handles being HoH. Tomorrow, we have another wildcard comp and then it’s time for nominations. I’m not sure who Kyland will nominate, though it wouldn’t surprise me if he nominated Brent and Christian. He wasn’t happy about being nominated by Frenchie but I’m not sure if Kyland is going to use this week to get revenge or not.
We’ll see what happens tomorrow!

After all the messiness of last few days, today has been pretty slow and calm. Or at least, what I’ve seen of it has been. The feeds have been in and out today, with the “We’ll be right back!” screen popping up more often than the activity in the House. I’m not sure why because there haven’t been any fights or any controversial discussions. It could have just been technical difficulties or maybe one of the houseguests were talking about someone from their life who hadn’t signed a release form. Who knows? But it definitely wasn’t due to anything big happening in the House.
As of right now, it appears that Travis will be leaving the House on Thursday. His two most natural allies — Christian and Brent — are both determined to keep Alyssa and no one else in the House seems to feel any particular loyalty to him. Travis does think that the members of his team, the Queens, will vote for him. That would be Claire, Kyland, and Tiffany. Derek X has said that if Travis can round up 6 votes, Derek X will vote to keep him. It’s all a bit cowardly really. I wouldn’t be shocked if this becomes yet another season of unanimous evictions.
Frenchie is still plotting and planning. He tried to start an all-girls and Frenchie alliance today with Azah, Hannah, Tiffany, Sarah Beth, and Britini. The proposed name of the alliance was French Kisses and …. ugh! I really hope that Frenchie gets voted out soon because trying to keep up with all of his alliances and all of his alliance names can give a girl a headache. Unfortunately, several houseguests seem to be convinced that Frenchie is probably really popular with the viewers and they don’t want to vote him out pre-jury as a result. If they only knew!
Otherwise, it’s been a pretty boring day in the House. As of right now, we’re just waiting to see if Travis makes any sort of last ditch attempt to save himself.
We’ll see what happens,
Lisa Marie
