Big Brother 22 — Slow News Day

by Lisa Marie Bowman on October 4, 2020

Hi, everyone!

So, today has been pretty boring in the Big Brother House. We’re reaching the point of the season where things are winding down, which means we’re probably going to have a few days like this. Cody and Tyler keep talking about how they can’t wait for the game to be over. Enzo and Nicole have been talking about how much they can’t stand either Tyler or Christmas. Christmas has been playing a lot of backgammon.

After the brief uncertainty of yesterday, it appears that Enzo and Nicole are both onboard with voting out Tyler. However, they’re trying to keep Tyler from finding out that he’s the target because they don’t want him to reveal any secrets in his eviction speech. So, they both keep telling Tyler that they haven’t decided how they’re going to vote whereas they’ve both pretty much decided to vote him out.

Christmas is so confident that she’s staying that she’s even got it into her head that Memphis, Nicole, and Enzo will throw the HoH comp so that she can win it. Little does Christmas know that the plan right now is to get rid of Tyler and then to get rid of her.

So, that’s the state of the House right now. This has just been a lazy Sunday and there hasn’t been much game talk. The veto meeting is tomorrow and unless something crazy happens, Cody will not be using it.

Lisa Marie

P.S. Just a reminder that, on CBS, Big Brother has moved from Sunday to Monday! So, we should see Cody’s HoH victory on tomorrow’s show.

Big Brother 22 — Week 9 Veto Comp Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on October 3, 2020

Hi, everyone!

The veto comp was today and this was a comp that Tyler really needed to win if he wanted to stay in the House. Unfortunately, for him, Cody won the veto.

It’s doubtful that Cody will want to make any enemies among the remaining players so he’ll keep his nominations the same. Tyler and Christmas will remain on the block and on Thursday, only 3 houseguests will vote.

How will that vote breakdown? Tyler’s problem is that he’s viewed as being a comp beast. Memphis would like to get him out. However, Enzo would like to keep Tyler because he can’t stand Christmas. Unless Cody demands a unanimous vote, it looks like it could all come to down to Nicole and Nicole may not like Tyler but she hates Christmas. So, right now, I see it as being a 2-1 vote that leads to Christmas being voted out.

But who knows? Tyler is a huge threat and, if Cody specifically says that Tyler has to be the one who is evicted on Thursday, I imagine that Enzo and Nicole will go along with him. And Cody has said that he like Tyler but he doesn’t trust him.

So, in short, I’m not sure who is going to go. If Tyler goes, it’s going to be because he’s seen as too big of a threat to win the game. If Christmas goes, it’s going to be because everyone’s just sick of listening to her.

We’ll see what happens,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 22 — Week 9 Nominations

by Lisa Marie Bowman on October 2, 2020

Hi, everyone!

Here’s a quick update as to what’s happening the House.

Cody is the new HoH. Apparently, they competed for HoH last night, after the triple eviction. I’m not really sure what the comp was but both Nicole and Enzo have been saying, “Thank God Cody won,” so I’m guessing that either Tyler or Christmas came close to winning.

Today, Cody made his nominations and he selected Tyler and Christmas. Christmas is convinced that Cody nominated her because Enzo told Cody about Tyler and Christmas’s plan to vote out Nicole but actually, Cody has been saying, ever since the first week of the game, that Tyler would have to be nominated once they got down to the final 6. Since Christmas is Tyler’s strongest ally in the House, it made sense for her to go up on the block with him.

That said, it hasn’t taken long for Christmas and Tyler to start campaigning against each other. Tyler told Nicole that it was Christmas who came up with the plan to vote out Dani. Christmas is blaming Tyler. For her part, Nicole has been saying that she “hates” both of them but she seems to hate Christmas a little more than Tyler.

So, who is going to be voted out? Everyone agrees that Tyler is comp beast. However, everyone in the House is sick of Christmas. Even when she was feeling safe in the house, Christmas had a bad habit of intruding on every conversation. Now that’s she on the block, she’s going to be even worse about it. Nicole has made it clear (to Enzo, at least) that she wants Christmas gone.

Meanwhile, Christmas has said that she’s so sure that the House will vote to evict Tyler on Thursday that, if she wins the veto, she won’t even use it. Personally, I would love to see that. If you’re stupid enough not to take yourself off the block, you deserve to get voted out.

Right now, I really have a feeling it will be Christmas who ends up as the primary target. She is just getting on everyone’s nerves. However, everyone also knows that Tyler is good at comps and is a real threat to win the next HoH. So, as of now, it really seems like it could go either way.

We’ll see what happens. The veto is tomorrow!

Big Brother 22 — Triple Eviction Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on October 1, 2020

Hi, everyone!

Well, it’s been quite a night! Now, if you haven’t seen the triple eviction episode yet and you don’t want the results to be spoiled, stop reading right now. Because I am about to reveal who got voted out and who won HoH and all of that good stuff. So, final warning. SPOILERS BELOW!

Okay, let’s talk about tonight’s show.

Things got started with Kevin getting voted out. There was no big surprise there. He was the target the entire week and, after Will let the cat out of the bag about the triple eviction, everyone knew that they’d have a chance to get out David immediately after they voted out Kevin.

So, after being nominated nearly every week that he was in the House, Kevin was finally evicted.

The HoH comp was won by Memphis. As soon as Memphis won, that pretty much guaranteed that David would be the target. And to no one’s surprise, Memphis nominated Nicole and David for eviction. The veto comp was won by Christmas and, again, she didn’t surprise anyone when she didn’t use the veto. Memphis didn’t want the veto used and Christmas is all about following “the HoH way.”

The vote was a little interesting. Tyler and Christmas spent this entire week talking about how they wanted to vote out Nicole and Dani. Even though David was Memphis’s target, Christmas and Tyler both voted for Nicole. Enzo, Cody, and Dani stuck together and voted for David. By a vote of 3-2, David was finally evicted from the House.

The third HoH comp was won by Tyler. Dani, realizing she was in trouble, ran to Tyler and told him that she had never tried to get him evicted and that he would be making a mistake if he nominated her. Tyler was not moved and he nominated Dani and Nicole for eviction.

The veto comp was then won — once again — by Tyler. When Julie told Nicole and Dani to tell Tyler why he should use the veto on either one of them, Dani replied that it was a waste of time because Tyler wasn’t going to use the veto. And, of course, Tyler didn’t.

Dani was evicted by a vote of 4-0. On the way out, she hugged everyone except for Tyler and Christmas. While Tyler seemed to understand why he didn’t get a hug, Christmas looked sincerely offended. “I guess it’s going to be personal,” Christmas said as Dani left….

Which was a stupid thing to say. Christmas, of all people, should understand the importance of jury management. During Big Brother 19, she saw Paul lose precisely because the jury hated him. Christmas should be begging the jurors to like her. Instead, she smirked her way through the entire triple eviction. At this point, Christmas might make it to the final two precisely because it’s hard to imagine anyone actually voting for her. Everyone’s going to look at Christmas and say, “That’s someone I could defeat.”

We are now down to 6 players: Cody, Memphis, Enzo, Nicole, Tyler, and Christmas. I imagine that they’ll be playing for HoH tomorrow. Tyler will not be eligible to compete and, if Christmas doesn’t win HoH, it’s easy to imagine the two of them being the next two members of the Committee sitting on the block. From the start, Cody and Memphis have been saying that the plan was to cut Tyler loose as soon as they reached the Top 6.

We’ll see what happens tomorrow. For now, congrats to final six!

Hey, everyone!

So, tomorrow is the big day! Three houseguests will be leaving the Big Brother House! And that means that it’s time to open up the diary room!

Now, because it’s a triple eviction, we’re going to do things a little bit differently this time. Usually, we ask you to pick between the two nominees. Instead, this week, we’re asking you to pick the three houseguests that you would most like to see leave the House on Thursday. Because it’s a triple eviction, anyone in the House can go.

Who is still in the House?

Christmas

Cody

Dani

David

Enzo

Kevin

Memphis

Nicole

Tyler

Those are your nine choices. Kevin and David are currently on the block so one of them will definitely be going to jury but who will be joining him?

Let us know in the comments section below or by voting in the poll over on the right side of the page! And then be sure to watch Thursday’s special two-hour eviction episode of Big Brother!

Happy voting,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 22 — The Houseguests Know!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 29, 2020

Well, I know we were all looking forward to the houseguests being totally shocked by Thursday’s triple eviction but it’s not going to happen. The houseguests know.

All week, the houseguests have been watching videos featuring Dr. Will. It appears that one of the upcoming HoH comps is going to be a memory game that involves answering questions about Will’s video. Apparently, earlier today, Will ended his video by saying that “three or four of you might be going home this week.”

The houseguests were already expecting Thursday to be a double eviction but now, they know it’s going to be at least a triple. I am really disappointed. I don’t blame Will. For the most part, he’s just reciting a script given to him be production. I really don’t understand why production decided to give the houseguests this advanced warning.

As a result, people are a bit more nervous in the Big Brother House. Though the target still appears to be Kevin, there’s still a lot of resentment over David taking the $10,000 during the veto comp so it’s hard to say for sure that David won’t be the first one sent to jury on Thursday night. David has been trying to campaign but his pitch is basically that he wants to see the smaller kitchen table that production brings in when there’s only 6 houseguests left. That’s not exactly a great pitch.

Nicole, meanwhile, is upset because Cody has been helping Enzo “study” for the HoH comp by quizzing him on Will’s videos. However, Cody has not been helping Nicole and apparently, Nicole snapped at him about it. So, for most of tonight, she’s been worrying that she is going to be the next target. And she very well may be.

Tyler has told Memphis that he thinks the best plan would be to vote out Kevin and then go after Dani and Nicole during the triple. Memphis has said that he agrees, though he could just be humoring Tyler. So, who knows? David might get to see the new table afterall.

Finally, for some reason, the HGs got it into their heads that they might do a surprise show tonight. I guess they’re thinking that there might be two eviction episodes this week. So, everyone got dressed up just in case Julie appeared on the screen in the living room. Just about everyone eventually figured out that nothing is going to happen tonight but Tyler and Memphis are still sitting in the living room, just in case.

Personally, I prefer the House when everyone’s paranoid. Still, I wish they had left the triple eviction as a total surprise for Thursday.

Big Brother 22 — Week 8 Veto Meeting

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 28, 2020

Hi, everyone!

This is just a quick update to let our readers know that the veto meeting was today and Cody ….

…. did not use the veto.

I know, I know. Big shock, right? Kevin and David are both still on the block and one of them will be going home first on Thursday. Then, whoever leaves will be followed by two other people. And while it seems likely that David will be one of those two people, who knows who the other one might be. Tyler doesn’t trust Dani and Nicole. Cody and Memphis don’t trust Christmas. Christmas is still telling everyone that The Committee is the only thing she cares about.

If I have to guess, though, I think Christmas is the Committee member with the most to worry about. Other than Tyler, she doesn’t have a really strong connection with anyone in the House. Christmas may think that she’s close to Cody, Memphs, and Enzo but all three of them have recently been talking about how tired they are of listening to her talk.

Of course, we still don’t know how the triple eviction is going to work. There could be all sorts of surprises waiting for us on Thursday. About now, the only thing that we can really say for sure is that Kevin will be the first one out.

Big Brother 22 — The Situation In The House

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 27, 2020

Hey, everyone!

So, this has kind of been a boring day in the Big Brother House. Cody has the veto and it does not appear that he’s going to use it. Memphis has been talking about how they need to target David after this week, which I guess means that Kevin is still the Committee’s target this week.

However, a lot of people in the House are angry with David right now because, during the veto, he chose to go for a prize instead of trying to win the veto. (Just like during the HoH comp, the HGs could play for either power or money.) David won $10,000 and Cody and Dani have been acting like it’s just the worst thing that’s ever happened in Big Brother history.

Apparently, they feel that, by not playing for the veto, David was giving up and saying that he didn’t care about trying to win the game anymore. But since David has been targeted since week one and is about to lose his only ally in the House, why shouldn’t have David gone for the money? I mean, if you know you’re time is nearly up, you might as well try to get some sort of prize out of the experience. David, for his part, told Cody that he went for the money because he wants to give it to charity and that he’s still definitely playing the game.

For a while today, Cody was so mad at David for “giving up” that it sounded like he might switch targets. On top of that, Kevin went up to the HoH room and apologized for snapping at Cody before the nominations. However, after talking with the other Committee members, it appears that Cody is now back to feeling that Kevin has to go first.

As far as Thursday’s triple evictions are concerned, David might be safe if Tyler wins HoH. Earlier today, Tyler and Christmas both agreed that David should be kept around and that Dani and Nicole are bigger threats. While I’m pretty sure that Tyler would do whatever he wanted as HoH, Christmas might be more easily swayed by the other members of the Committee. So, at this point, it appears that Kevin is going to go first and then David is going to have to hope either he or Tyler wins HoH. Eventually, no matter what happens, the Committee will soon have to start turning on each other.

We’ll see what happens,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 22 — Finally! Here’s Who Won The Veto….

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 27, 2020

Hi, everyone!

Sorry for the late update. I didn’t want to post anything about the veto until we had a winner and the veto comp ended up lasting about six hours. Apparently, it was the OTEV comp. The players were Cody, Kevin, David, Tyler, Enzo, and Nicole.

Anyway, I’m not sure why the veto took so long. I’m guessing that maybe Dr. Will was involved in some way and that caused it to take longer than usual. Still, the important thing is that the feeds have finally come back and I can now tell you that….

….CODY WON THE VETO!

Cody has been talking about wanting to backdoor Christmas this week but that plan pretty much went out the window after he and Kevin had their little argument on Friday. Kevin is now Cody’s number one target and I doubt Cody’s going to change his nominations. So, Kevin will probably be the first of the three houseguests to be evicted on Thursday. To be honest, I think Kevin’s ready to go.

Still, you never know. David might say the wrong thing or Kevin might somehow make a deal at the last minute. We’ll see what happens!

Goodnight,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 22 — Week 8 Nominations

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 25, 2020

Hi, everyone!

When the feeds finally came back last night, Cody was the new HoH. As such, when he announced his nominations earlier today, it wasn’t a shock to discover who he had picked.

Once again, David and Kevin have been nominated for eviction.

Kevin is definitely Cody’s target. Before the nomination ceremony, Kevin and Cody had an argument in the HoH room in which Kevin basically accused Cody of acting as if the world revolves around him and his game. Kevin’s frustration was understandable. He’s been on the block nearly every week since the game began. He’s tired and he’d fed up.

However, even as Cody has been planning on getting rid of Kevin, he’s also been thinking about what he’ll do if the veto is used. Cody and Dani agreed that Christmas would be the obvious replacement nominee. Cody is now so annoyed with Christmas that he’s said he might just go ahead and ask everyone to vote for her if she does end up on the block. Of course, that was before he and Kevin had their little fight.

So, as of right now, it’s once again David and Kevin on the block. The veto is tomorrow and, if we believe the words of Dr. Will, the houseguests will be able to choose between winning prizes or winning power. How many people will actually play for the veto and how many will just be trying to win a prize? We’ll find out soon!
