Big Brother 22 Starts Tomorrow

by BBBlogger on August 4, 2020

Welcome to 2020 Big Brother Blog faithful. Looks like we will be getting another summer helping of Big Brother in the form of an ALL-STAR Season!

What makes it even more different is we just got a few photos of the new house and no info on who. They are going to make Wednesday, August 5, 2020, a LIVE MOVE-IN EVENT! (Exciting right?)

Always nice to have some new things to keep all of us Big Brother faithful engaged and ready to watch. Since this global pandemic has been in effect for months now, I think the timing of Big Brother 22 is perfect. I have watched all of Netflix, I have surfed the entire world wide web, I am ready for some new reality TV content!! Bring on Big Brother 22!

Another thing that CBS felt would be a smart move is to have this season an All-Star season since with any new house guests they would have a BB House learning curve along with navigating the coronavirus this year. So with that being stated, All-Stars 2 makes total sense!

What former houseguest would you like to see this season? Which former house guest would you NOT like to see in the big brother house? Comment below and let us know!

So excited to have you all here with us again this summer! Let’s party!

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: comment below and tell us if you will be joining us this year!

Hey everyone! BBBlogger here…

Well, I hope and pray that all of you have been staying safe during this crazy time. Pandemic this, COVID-19 that, so much craziness. As some of you know, I live in the Twin Cities and not only did we have the pandemic but we had some serious issues due to the George Floyd murder on our streets. Needless to say, it has been quite eventful around the Twin Cities in 2020! To be extremely honest, I did not even think much about Big Brother 22.

The other day, I figured I would google Big Brother 22 and what do I find but a ton of rumors and craziness that states we might still get a season of Big Brother this year. Go figure…

So with this post, I am officially reopening the blog. We might not have daily posts but we will post when we hear something new. But I want to know, what have you heard, what do you think will happen? Will it be an All-Stars version 2? Will it happen in July?

So many questions, comment below your thoughts and what you think Big Brother will do here in 2020.

Peace, BBBlogger

PS: Miss you all. I hope you are all doing great and looking forward to being a part of your summer once again!

Big Brother 21 — That’s A Wrap For Now

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 25, 2019

And, like all things, Big Brother 21 came to an end!

Hi, y’all! So, I just finished watching the finale of the latest season of Big Brother. I’m going to say a few things about it so, if you haven’t seen it yet, you probably should stop reading now. Everything below will be a SPOILER!

Well, where to begin?

Jackson did exactly what he wanted to do. He took Holly to the final two and then he won the money. And yet, he looked pretty miserable as he stepped out of the house. This was because, just a few minutes earlier, Kemi, David, Ovi, and Julie had all basically informed him that a lot of people outside the House disliked him and felt that he had unfairly targeted the minority houseguests at the start of the game.

For the entire time that he’s been in the House, Jackson has said that his number one fear is discovering that the viewers and the feedsters disliked him. Tonight, that fear came true for him and you could tell just from the expression on his face that he was more concerned about that than he was about what he would do with his prize money. I’ve never seen a winner look more miserable.

Holly came in second. I honestly thought she might have a chance to actually win, depending on how bitter the jury was. But, in her answers to the jury’s questions, Holly failed to really show anything that she did in the game, other than ride Jackson’s coattails.

Nicole won America’s Favorite Player. That means she’ll be going home with just as much money as Holly. For a lot of people, that was the only good thing about tonight’s finale.

And with that, Big Brother 21 is over. I have to admit that I’m not sorry to see it end. This has been one of the most negative and toxic seasons that I can remember. It wasn’t particularly fun to watch. If Cliff had stuck to his guns and voted out Holly when he had the chance, tonight probably would have been a lot different. But he didn’t and, as a result, things ended on a predictable note.

The good news is that we now have Survivor! Starting tomorrow, I’ll be posting about that over on Reality TV Chat and I hope to see y’all there!

I don’t know if there’s going to be another Celebrity Big Brother, yet. I kind of doubt it because it seems like they would have already announced it if there was going to be. However, Big Brother will return next summer and hopefully, it’ll be a bit better than this last season.

Thank you everyone for reading and commenting! This hasn’t been an easy season but we made it through!

Love ya!

Big Brother 21 — Let’s Open Up The Diary Room One More Time

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 24, 2019

Well, it’s almost over. On Wednesday, this season of Big Brother will come to a close and either Jackson, Holly, or Nicole will leave the house with the victory.

Now, we all know who the final two is going to be. If I had to guess, though, every member of the final three will get some money. Jackson might win the game and Holly might come in second but Nicole seems to be a lock for America’s Favorite Player. If Nicole does win AFP, she’ll leave the House with as much money as Holly.

Anyway, it’s time to open up the diary room again! Who do you want to win? Do you vote for….

JACKSON

HOLLY

or

NICOLE?

Let’s us know in the comments below! Or vote in the poll that we’ve got going on over in the Big Brother Blog Facebook Group! And then be sure to watch on Wednesday to see how it all ends.

And then be sure to stick around for Survivor!

Happy voting!

Big Brother 21 — Another Final HoH Comp Update

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 22, 2019

Hi y’all.

So, they just completed the second part of the final HoH comp and it was won by Holly.

Holly and Jackson will face off in the third and final part of the HoH comp on Wednesday but, at this point, it doesn’t matter who wins. Holly is going to take Jackson to the final two. Jackson is going to take Holly. And Nicole is going to become the final member of the jury.

So now, we wait.

Big Brother 21 — Final HoH Comp Update

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 20, 2019

Hi y’all!

So, I kept holding off on updating today because I was waiting to see if anything interesting happened in the House but it hasn’t. They did get to see videos from home earlier, which made Jackson cry. Otherwise, they’ve spent most of today sleeping.

Of course, last night was a big night for them. After Cliff left the House, they competed in the first part of the final HoH comp. It was a puzzle comp and Jackson won it.

So, this means that Part 2 of the comp will feature just Nicole and Holly. And whoever wins that comp will then advance to part 3, where they will face Jackson. Basically, Nicole has to win Part 2 or she has no chance of making it to the final two. Last night, Nicole told Holly that, if Holly did win the final HoH, she needed to do what was best for her game and that would be sending Jackson to the jury and taking Nicole to the final two. Holly said that she would keep an open mind but we all know that there’s no way that either Jackson or Holly is going to evict their showmance. Nicole has to win the final HoH comp or she’s going to the jury.

I’m not sure when they will be doing the 2nd part of the HoH comp but I’ll post here when they do. Otherwise, it’s probably going to be a pretty boring week up until Wednesday’s show. That’s when someone from our final three will win Big Brother 21 and we’ll all move onto the new season of Survivor.

Big Brother 21 — And your final three is….

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 19, 2019

Hi y’all!

So, if you didn’t watch tonight’s episode yet, everything below is a SPOILER. But what happened tonight was so predictable that it really doesn’t matter. Even if you have’t seen the episode yet, you can guess exactly what happened.

Which is this:

Jackson used the veto to save himself.

Cliff went up as a replacement.

Julie made both Cliff and Holly give a final speech, even though it was obvious that Holly wasn’t going anywhere. Holly rambled on forever. Cliff started to talk and was told by Julie to hurry up. That always drives me crazy when that happens. Julie always lets one houseguest go on forever and then panics about time while the second one is talking.

Anyway, Jackson evicted Cliff. Big shock, right?

Julie asked Cliff what he was thinking when he got it into his head that Jackson would actually evict his showmance. Cliff said that it was because Jackson had never lied to him before which …. I mean, what!? Did Cliff forget about the fact that he got voted out of the house in a blindside earlier this season?

Anyway, we now have our final three and it’s Nicole, Holly, and Jackson. The final 3-part HoH comp will start soon and whoever wins it will decide who to take to the final two with them.

As far as how everyone would do in a final two situation, I think it really depends on how bitter the jury is. If the jury isn’t bitter, Jackson stands a good chance of winning. If the jury is bitter, I think Nicole will have a good chance. I think that both Nicole and Jackson would beat Holly, regardless of how the jury’s feeling. We’ll see.

It’s nearly over!

Hi y’all!

Well, it’s that time! We’re about to start the final week of Big Brother but first, we need to open up the diary room and you need to let us know who you want to evict this week!

Now, technically, Jackson has not used the veto yet. He’s still on the block. We all know that, by the end of Thursday’s episode, he will have used the veto and he will no longer be on the block. But still, just to keep things fair, we’ll include the option to vote for him in this poll.

So, out of the three possibilities, who do you vote to evict this week?

Do you vote to evict….

JACKSON, the watermelon-loving comp beast who single-handedly got Have Nots canceled this season by his refusal to be one

or

HOLLY, Jackson’s mom

Or

CLIFF, the self-described superfan who somehow thought it would be a good idea to bring a showmance to the finale?

Cast your vote in the comments below or over in the poll that we’ve got going in the Big Brother Blog Facebook Group!

And then be sure to watch Thursday’s episode to see who becomes the next member of the jury!

Happy voting,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 21 — Is It Thursday Yet?

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 17, 2019

Hi y’all!

So, I don’t really have much to report today. That’s the way it always tends to go during the last few days of Big Brother. Now that we pretty much know who is going to go to the jury on Thursday and who our final three is going to be, it’s all pretty much just about waiting.

Officially, Jackson has not yet used the veto to take himself off the block. He won’t be doing that until the live show on Thursday. (This is all so they can end Wednesday’s show with a Will-He-Or-Won’t-He cliffhanger.) But everyone knows that he’s going to do it.

For his part, Cliff did approach Jackson and offered to make a deal with him. He basically promised to throw the final HoH comp and therefore give Jackson a better chance of making it into the final two. Jackson was polite while listening to the deal but obviously, it’s not going to happen. Jackson is looking forward to taking Holly into the final three and he’s hoping that it will be the two of them facing the jury.

(And it very well could be. Jackson is a challenge beast and Holly isn’t that bad at them either. Nicole’s won a few challenges but she’s never come across as being as good at them as either Jackson or Holly.)

Other than Cliff talking to Jackson and proposing his deal, today has pretty much been dominated by people whining. Nicole and Cliff have been whining about Jackson not honoring their earlier deal. Holly is still going on about having to throw the HoH comp to Nicole. Jackson is still worried that people outside the House hate him. It’s been pretty boring.

Thursday cannot get here soon enough!

Big Brother 21 — Veto Update

by Lisa Marie Bowman on September 16, 2019

Hey y’all!

Well, I know we were all expecting the veto meeting to happen today but it’s not going to happen. Instead, the houseguests were informed that the veto meeting would not be taking place until Thursday, during the live show.

Not that it makes much difference, of course. Everyone knows that Jackson is going to use the veto and that Cliff is going to be sent to the jury. There doesn’t really seem to be any realistic way to stop that from happening and really, Cliff has no one to blame but himself. As someone who has been watching Big Brother since it started, Cliff should have known better than to take a showmance to the final four.

Cliff is going to make Jackson an offer. He’s going to promise to take Jackson to the final two with him if Jackson allows him to stay and Cliff then wins the final HoH. Cliff has already run it by Nicole and Nicole’s given him her permission to make the offer but there’s no way that Jackson’s going to go for it.

(Unless, of course, Jackson and Holly have another one of their fights before Thursday, which is always a possibility….)

When last I checked the feeds, Cliff and Nicole were both agreeing that they probably made a mistake voting out Tommy and I could only nod and say, “Well….yeah!” Nicole even said that she thinks it’s possible Jackson lied about what Tommy said and again, I was just like, “Now!? Now you figure this out!?”

Anyway, that’s pretty much it for the house today. I doubt much will happen this week before the show on Thursday but we’ll see!
