Hi y’all!
So, I know that some of you won’t get to see tonight’s episode of Big Brother until later because there’s a football game going on in your area. If that’s the case, be warned that I will not only be revealing who was voted out tonight but also who won the battleback to return to the house. Consider this to be your … (dramatic voice) SPOILER ALERT!
Anyway, to the surprise of no one, Faysal was voted out of the house. After spending the whole week promising that he was going to set the house on fire with his eviction speech, he instead just blandly accused Angela of targeting everyone else in the House. As for Haleigh’s eviction speech, she was cheerful because 1) she knew she wasn’t going anywhere and 2) she’ll no longer have Faysal weighing her down with his petulant social game.
The final vote was 4-1. Only Sam voted for Faysal, though I’m sure Faysal will think that one vote came from JC. (In JC’s goodbye message, JC was careful to avoid revealing how he actually voted.) Faysal seemed just as confused upon leaving the house as when he entered it. After an awkward interview with Julie, he discovered that he was going to have a chance to reenter the house because it was time for the BATTLEBACK!
And when I first learned what they were going to be doing for the Battleback, I thought that Faysal might very well win it. Basically, they had to run from one side of the backyard to another, grab a ball, and then drop the ball into a funnel. The first person to get four balls in their funnel would win the battleback. Faysal was competing against Bayleigh, Rockstar, and Scottie and it seemed like something that an athlete like Faysal should have been able to win…
…however, that didn’t happen!
Faysal got off to a good start but, as the comp went on, he started to have trouble dropping the balls into the funnel. Instead, it was Scottie who got four balls in his funnel first and it was Scottie who reentered the house!
Before reentering the house, Scottie told Julie that his original plan had been to get back together with Faysal and Haleigh. But since Faysal is now gone, Scottie’s new plan is to try to form an alliance with Tyler. He also said that, if he wins HoH, his targets would probably be Angela and JC. (Scottie is especially mad at JC because, right before the battleback started, Faysal told Scottie that JC was the one who talked Faysal into nominating him.)
So, Scottie’s back in the house and, at the very least, everyone pretended to be excited. When last I checked, he telling everyone about the jury house and being interviewed by Ross and Marissa. JC was being very, very quiet, which is rare for him.
Production is currently setting up the HoH comp. It probably won’t start for another two hours and it’s an endurance comp so who knows how long it will last. I really wish that they had already done the HoH comp because that would give me an excuse to write about something other than JC but they haven’t so here we go.
JC is gross. If you’ve only watched the CBS show, you might be under the impression that he’s just a funny little guy who is good at convincing people to do stuff. The truth of the matter is that, from the day they first entered the house, JC has gone out of his way to make people uncomfortable and whenever he’s gotten called out, he’s responded by acting like he’s the victim.
The latest JC controversy started on Tuesday night when he climbed into bed with Tyler. Tyler asked JC to sleep somewhere else. JC didn’t move. Tyler fells asleep, at which point JC caressed and kissed Tyler’s arm.
Then, on Wednesday night, JC opened the door while Haleigh was in the bathroom and then refused to close it, even while Haleigh shouted at him. This led to the feeds promptly going down. When they came back up, Sam was telling JC that his behavior was inappropriate and JC was once again pouting.
Today, Haleigh mentioned to Faysal that Alison Grodner had come down to the house and spoken to her personally about JC and his behavior. JC was called to the diary room several times and apparently told that he has to respect people’s private space if he’s going to be in the house. For their part, both Haleigh and Tyler say that they’ve forgiven JC and they don’t want him kicked out of the house.
So, while JC’s been getting the best edit of any houseguest not named Tyler on the CBS show, a lot of live feeders have been complaining that JC should have been kicked out of the house for his behavior. Myself, I think JC’s a little creep and this is hardly the first time that production’s had to talk to him. Personally, I’m kinda hoping that Scottie wins HoH and JC finally goes on the block.
We’ll see what happens!
