Big Brother 19 — Josh, Mark, and the Hot Sauce

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 18, 2017

Hi y’all!

In case you didn’t know this, I am one of those people who has watched every episode of Big Brother’s American version since the beginning.  There were some seasons to which I paid more attention, of course.  Unlike a lot of superfans, I can’t remember the name of every single person who was ever in the house.  However, during each summer, I do get very emotionally involved with what’s happening in the house.  I have spent more than a few nights complaining to anyone who will listen about how much I hate production interference or why I think the latest super alliance is going to fall apart.  Pity my poor boyfriend.  He doesn’t even watch Big Brother and he’s still had to spend several nights listening to me explain why Paul’s been given too many advantages.

My point is that I love Big Brother and I love writing about.  That said, occasionally something will happen in the house that — after all of these seasons — will still take me by surprise.  Something will be done or said and I’ll just find myself saying, “Is this what the season’s really going to be like?  Can we just pretend that didn’t happen?”

Of course, the correct answer is always: No.  We can’t pretend that something didn’t happen, regardless of how stupid, immature, or offensive it may have been.

For instance, yesterday, after the veto meeting, Mark and Josh played a game of pool.  They made a bet.  The loser of the game would have to drink a glass of pickle juice with hot sauce mixed in.  This simple game of pool quickly started to turn into some sort of bizarre Big Brother Hunger Game, with Mark and Josh both going overboard with the taunts and the trash talk.  It all came down to one final shot.  Mark claimed that Josh scratched and therefore lost.  Josh demanded another shot and, when Mark refused to give it to him, Josh announced that meant Mark had lost.

Now, I’ve seen stuff like this happen before.  Boys tend to get hyper competitive whenever there’s a pool table around.  They also seem to have a hard time admitting that anyone could possibly be a better pool player.  Whenever I’ve seen guys play pool, there always seems to be claims of cheating or whatever.  Usually, it gets resolved over another game.

However, that’s not how things work in the Big Brother House.  Now, let’s see if I can keep this straight.  Josh went off and got a cup of pickle juice and hot sauce.  He brought it outside to Mark.  Mark asked if Josh really believed that he had won the game.  Josh said that he did win the game.  Mark responded by throwing the contents of the cup in Josh’s face.

Seriously?

Okay, first off — why?  Why would you do something that stupid?  Over a pool game?  Seriously, it’s not like Josh has much power in the house.  It’s not like Josh was going to be able to force Mark to drink what was in the cup.  If Mark was really offended, he could have just targeted Josh next week.  Or he could have been “the bigger man” and just walked away.  Instead, he threw the cup in Josh’s face!

Secondly, hot sauce and pickle juice is not a good combination.  It’s especially not something that someone should get in their eyes.  So, I’m having a hard time seeing how this is not a violation of the Big Brother rules.  Josh responded by throwing a combination of ketchup and ranch dressing at Mark.  The Big Brother voice announced, “Stop that!” as Mark and Josh chased each other around the yard but, otherwise, I don’t think Mark’s been disciplined in any way.

Anyway, this led to an angry Josh launching into one of his monologues.  He sat in the hot tub and announced that he had no respect for Mark.  When Mark attempted to apologize, Josh brushed him off and announced that he knows that Mark and Elena wanted to target Paul and Christmas during the first week.  Josh also used this incident as another excuse to attack Jessica, telling her that he has no problem lying to her because he doesn’t feel any loyalty to her.  Josh basically accused everyone in the house of plotting against everyone else.

All of this somehow led to Dominique and Christmas having an argument, in which both of them accused the other of being dishonest and disloyal.  Now, Christmas is planning on voting out Dominique.  She spent most of yesterday bragging about how she had shut Dominique down.

But the person who may currently be in the most trouble is Josh.  While Mark certainly didn’t make himself look good by throwing that stuff in his Josh’s face (and personally, I think that if the rules were being followed, Mark would have been expelled from the house), Josh proceeded to blow up his entire game.  Instead of just concentrating his anger on Mark, he ended up yelling about how everyone in the house is a liar.  Nobody wants to work with a loose cannon.

And I imagine we’re going to see more blow-ups from Josh in the future because, later that night — after Josh had calmed down — Jessica let him know that some of the women feel that he has been trying to peek on them when they’ve been in the shower.  Josh said he was shocked to hear that.  I can guarantee you that Josh will bring this up the next time he gets mad.

That said, if there is any hope for Josh, it appears to be that Paul is not in any hurry to get rid of him.  Last night, while Jessica was talking to Josh, Paul was talking to Alex and, in his typical Paul way, trying to forge a mini-alliance with her.  Paul said that there was no point to get rid of Josh, that it would be better to keep him around “to do our dirty work for us.”  Paul feels that next week’s nominees should be Jessica and Ramses.  Alex is worried about Kevin, because Kevin voted to evict Ramses.  Paul, of course, never mentioned that he ordered Kevin to vote for Ramses.

Anyway, today has been much calmer in the Big Brother House.  Everyone knows that Dom is leaving so now, it’s just a case of waiting for Thursday.  What they do not know is that there will soon be a battleback and someone will be reentering the house.

We’ll see what happens!

Big Brother 19 — Veto Ceremony Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 17, 2017

Hi, y’all!

So, here’s the answer to question that we’ve all been wondering.  Was the veto used?

Originally, of course, it seemed obvious that Jason would use the veto and take Jessica off the block.  Alex would replace Jessica with Mark and then either Mark would be backdoored or Dom would be voted out.  Either way, Alex would be able to pretend that she broke up a potential power couple, even though everyone knows that neither Dom nor Mark have — in any way — been a threat to anyone else in the house.

But then, Alex flaked out.  Mark went up to the HoH room and told her that he didn’t want to be the replacement nominee and, for some reason, Alex decided that mattered.  So, she started to try to find someone else who might be willing to volunteer to be the replacement.  Well, of course, no one is going to volunteer.  Everyone knows that there’s no real reason to target Dom, other than the fact that Paul doesn’t like her and Elena is convinced that Dom is trying to come between her and Mark.  Who wants to be a pawn when there’s no reason to vote out the target?

So, Alex went back and forth over whether or not Jason should use the veto.  Seriously, I have never been so unimpressed by an HoH.  Alex talked a good game but, once she won HoH, she revealed herself to be the flakiest person in the house.

ANYWAY, they finally had the veto ceremony today and Jason did not use it.  So, Jessica and Dom are still on the block and Dom is the target, even though nobody seems to be sure why.  Dom knows that she’s going home and she has announced that she’s going to have quite a speech ready on eviction night.  She also said that she kept quiet about Paul during the veto ceremony because she suspects production would have edited out any negative comments about him.  Dom is waiting until the show is live to let the world know how she feels about Paul.

As for Paul, he did not follow through on his threat to wear a black mask to the eviction ceremony.  I’m going to guess that someone in the diary room told him to tone down because he certainly did seem enthusiastic about his plan last night.  Instead, he went to the meeting with lines under his eyes and a diamond painted on his forehead and wearing a dress.  That was his snake look.

That said, TMZ ran a story on Paul’s original plan so, at the very least, I imagine production is currently worried about Paul.  If anything, he seems to be heading in the same direction of Amanda Zuckerman and Frankie Grande, former production favorites who were cut loose once it became obvious that the majority of viewers were growing tired of them.

For now, however, it looks like Paul is going to get what he wants.  Unless the halting hex comes into play (and I’m still not sure if it’s going to be rewarded before or after Thursday’s eviction), Dom will be voted out.  However, she will get a chance to compete for a chance to reenter the house.

We’ll see what happens!

Big Brother 19 — Paul said what!?

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 16, 2017

Hi, everyone!

It’s been a strange day in the Big Brother house.  I’d be lying if I said I knew for sure what was going to happen tomorrow.  If I had to bet, I’d say that the nominations are going to remain the same but earlier today, Alex told Paul and Elena that she still wants to put up Mark as a replacement nominee for Jessica.  Apparently, she feels that Mark is too close to Dominique.  Why exactly Alex thinks that’s a big deal is beyond me.  It’s not as if either Mark or Dom is exactly a power player in the house.

After Alex talked to Paul and Elena about maybe putting up Mark, Paul complained that Mark hadn’t listened to him when he ordered everyone to shun Dominique.  Elena then asked, somewhat sarcastically, if she was going to have to “babysit” Mark.  It was kind of an odd comment, considering that Elena and Mark are supposedly a couple.  Instead of defending her man (like I would have if I was in her shoes), Elena instead agreed with Paul that Mark was a loose cannon who needs to be babysat.

As for Alex, she went to Jason and told him that he might have to use the veto because she’s no longer sure that she has the votes to get out Dominique if Jessica’s on the block with her.  The only problem is that Alex still isn’t sure who to nominate.  Paul said that she shouldn’t nominate Mark and no one else is willing to volunteer and Alex doesn’t know how to handle it!  Jason suggested that she might have to nominate Raven as a replacement but Alex doesn’t want to do that because she’s worried that everyone loves Raven.

As for Dominique, she has told anyone who will listen that Paul is a snake and that he must be evicted from the house.  She has also said that if she stays and wins HoH, she will nominate Christmas and Paul for eviction.  Dominique is right about Paul being the biggest threat but, today, after making her point, Dominique isolated herself from the rest of the house.  She’s not campaigning as aggressively as she probably should.  If she’s going to beat Paul, she needs to be talking about how he’s a snake 24/7.

And then there’s this…

Just about an hour ago, in the bedroom with Alex, Ramses, and Christmas, Paul announced his plans for the veto ceremony.  He was thinking of making himself look like a snake but now, he said that he’s thinking about wearing a dress and “black face” as his way of mocking Dominique.  (There’s actually a heated debate on twitter as to whether Paul said “black face” or “black mask.”  To be honest, I don’t really see what difference it makes.)  I’m assuming that, between tonight and tomorrow’s veto meeting, Paul will be called into the diary room and told not to go through with that plan.

(And no — at no point did Alex, Christmas, or Ramses say, “Gee, Paul, that would be extremely offensive and disgusting.”)

So, that’s the state of the Big Brother House right now.  Even though I’m not sure she’ll get a chance to use it, I am continuing to vote for Dom to be given the halting hex.

Big Brother 19 — What A Mess

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 15, 2017

Hi y’all!

Okay, so I’m confused.  Seriously, this week is shaping up to be pure chaos.  When Alex first won HoH, I was actually kind of excited because she seemed like she was determined to make her mark and that she would be willing to do what was good for her own game, instead of just acting like Paul’s servant.  However, it turns out that I was pretty much incorrect.

All that talk about Alex being a strong, strategic player?

Nope.

Now, in Alex’s defense, Paul is the most obvious target in the house but he has immunity.  I’d like to think that, if not for those three weeks of immunity, Paul would have been Alex’s target but, at this point, I’m not quite sure.  As HoH, Alex doesn’t seem to really know what she’s trying to do.  Alex seems to just go with the plan of whoever she last talked to.

For instance, her nominations still make no sense.  She nominated Jessica and Dominique and she made it clear that Jessica was NOT her target.  This, despite the fact that Jessica has pretty much announced that her main goal is to get revenge on everyone who voted to evict Cody.  As for Dominique … everyone in the house (except for Paul, Elena, and Dominique) appears to be confused as to why Dominique is not only on the block but is also the target.  Even Alex doesn’t seem to be quite sure, at this point, why she is targeting Dominique.

I mean, Dominique is not a threat, though Paul and Elena seem to be concerned that she’s too close to Mark.  Some people may not care for her personality.  I’m not a huge fan of her talk show.  Paul says that he’s annoyed by how outspoken Dominique is about her religious beliefs.  But, with all that in mind, Dominique was hardly a threat before she was targeted.  She’s a threat now, of course.  Dom has said that she feels that God put her in the house and, more specifically, that God put her in the house to get Paul out of the house.  She even told Josh that, even if she’s evicted, she’s still going to get Paul out of the house.

And she’s probably right.  People in the house are starting to get annoyed with Paul, even more than usual.  Even Mark has pointed out that no one had a problem with Dom until Paul suddenly decided that he didn’t like her.  Everyone in the house is confused as to why Paul wanted Dom nominated and, hopefully, this will lead to them realizing that Paul not only has too much power but that he’s also a bully, one who specifically targets people that he considers to be weaker than him, people like Ramses and Dom.  (Paul may have campaigned against Cody but he never got in his face, not the way that he did with Dom last night.)

Anyway, where was I?  Oh yes — what is Alex doing!?  Before the veto comp was played, Alex told Jason and Kevin that she hoped that the veto would be used on Jessica so that she could then backdoor Mark or maybe even Christmas.  So, they played for the veto last night and Jason won it.

And now, suddenly, Alex is saying that maybe Jason shouldn’t use the veto.  According to Alex, they have enough votes to get rid of Dominique without even using the veto but … I mean, why?  Jessica’s a far bigger threat than Dom so, by leaving her on the block, Alex is asking everyone to knowingly vote to keep a stronger player in the house, one who has sworn that she will get revenge for Cody.  If Alex is so determined to get Dom out, why not veto Jessica and replace her with someone who is even less of a threat than Dom?

As far as I can tell, what happened is that Mark had a long conversation with Alex.  And he told Alex that he doesn’t want to be the replacement nominee.  For some reason, Alex is like, “Mark doesn’t want to go on the block.”  HEY, ALEX — I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO BACKDOOR MARK!?  Apparently, Alex is now looking for a volunteer to go on the block but what type of logic is that?  Does Alex not realize that she is head of household?  Is she worried that Paul will come after her if she backdoors Mark?  I mean, what is going on!?

Anyway, by the time I post this, it’s totally possible that Alex will have changed her mind again.  I believe the veto meeting is going to be sometime today.  Paul has everyone convinced that there’s going to be a special live eviction on Sunday.  He thinks that’s why they played the veto so early.  No, Paul — they just needed the backyard for the battleback.

Anyway, right now, it looks like Dom is going to be voted out but I don’t know for sure.  Things are such a mess in the house right now that I’m not going to make any predictions.

Lisa Marie

P.S. Voting for the Halting Hex will continue into Wednesday!  There’s a nasty rumor that they’re not going to reveal the winner until after Thursday’s eviction.  Hopefully, that’s not true.  I had been voting for Ramses but I’m now voting for Dom.  Dom is hardly my favorite houseguest but I hate seeing people bullied.

Big Brother 19 — Here Are The Nominations!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 14, 2017

Hi, y’all!

So, Alex has made her nominations.  The two houseguests on the block are:

Jessica

and…

DOMINIQUE!

Apparently, Alex has decided that she wants to take out Dominique.  Alex told both Kevin and Jason that she wants to take out someone from the other side of the house.  Then again, Paul’s still upset over Dominique’s “interview” with Cody so I doubt he’s that upset about Dominique being nominated.  Dominique certainly seems to know that she’s the target.  She just told Mark that black people are always targeted during the first few weeks of Big Brother and that she also believes she was nominated because the other girls are jealous of her.

Alex did nominate Jessica but, earlier, she told Kevin and Jason that she was hoping that she would be able to use the veto to take Jessica off the block and replace her with either Christmas or Mark.  Alex has even said that she’s rather keep Dominique if it meant a chance to backdoor either one of those two.

Here’s my thought on that: Instead of going through the whole backdooring thing, when not just go ahead and nominate Christmas?  It’s not like she would be able to compete for the veto.

Christmas, by the way, is back in the house.  She’s on crutches and apparently she also has a walker that she’s supposed to use as well.  Apparently, she’ll have to leave the house three days a week so that she can get physical therapy.  As soon as she came through the front door, Raven immediately started to talk about having to get stitches.  I’ve had to get stitches in my foot before.  It sucked, I hated them, and, like Raven, I screamed the whole time.  But seriously, Raven — you cut your foot.  CHRISTMAS TORE A LIGAMENT!  I like Raven, but not everything has to be a competition.  Especially where injuries are concerned.

Christmas just told Paul that she voted to evict Ramses.  Apparently, she was massively doped up.  She also said that, after she cast her vote, she heard Julie say, “That’s 0 votes for Cody and 3 votes for Ramses.”  In other words, she now knows that the two people who voted before her both voted for Ramses.  She was asking Paul who voted before her and Paul said he didn’t remember.

Of course, Paul does remember.   Jessica and Kevin voted before her and Kevin voted for Ramses.  He only did that because Paul told him too.  However, this is information that Paul probably doesn’t want the rest of the house to know.

So, could this be a bad week for Christmas?  And, even more importantly, who is going to win the Halting Hex and the veto?

We’ll find out tomorrow!

Big Brother 19 — Eviction and HoH Results

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 13, 2017

Hi y’all!

So, this is going to be a big spoiler if you haven’t watched tonight’s episode yet.  That’s your final warning before I go into the details.  If you haven’t seen the episode or watched the HoH comp on the live feeds and you don’t want to have the results spoiled, stop reading now.

Okay?

Anyway, to no one’s shock, Cody was voted out.  It was a 7-3-0 vote.  Ramses got 3 votes, from Kevin, Christmas, and Jessica.  Jessica and Kevin’s votes were expected.  Kevin was following Paul’s orders.  There was no way Jessica was going to vote to evict her showmance.  However,  Christmas’s vote was a little more surprising.  She delivered her vote via telephone from her hospital room.  (She’s had surgery but hasn’t been cleared to leave the hospital yet.)  To me, she sounded a bit doped up when she cast her vote for Ramses.  So, was the vote an honest mistake on her part or was she trying to stir things up?  Before Christmas left, Cody told her a lot of things that were designed to make her suspicious of Paul.  Because Christmas isn’t in the house, we don’t know why she voted for Ramses.

However, Paul was only expecting two votes for Ramses so right now, he is extremely paranoid about where that third vote came from.  All during the HoH competition, he was interrogating people about how they voted.  In my opinion, Paul was coming on a bit too strong.  He might want to dial it back and just be happy that he got his main enemy out of the house.

As for the HoH comp, it was an endurance competition.  It was the one where everyone has to hold onto the wall and the last person to fall off wins HoH.  Most of the guys fell early, with only Jason making it to the final five with Jessica, Dominique, Elena, and Alex.  Jessica was actually looking pretty strong for most of the competition but eventually, she did slip and fall.  She was followed by Dominique.  Jason hopped off after Elena and Alex assured him that he was safe.  Elena then jumped off and Alex won HoH.

Last night, Alex said that, if she won HoH, she would nominate Jessica and Ramses for eviction.

The other big news: Julie made it official.  There’s a battleback next week.  It’ll be between Jillian, Cameron, Cody, and whoever is evicted this upcoming week.  But Julie also teased that there was a new twist that would allow the houseguests to prevent the winner of the battleback from returning.  So, I’m not really sure what the point of the whole battleback would be.

Also, next week will be the last week for the Den of Temptation.  Again, I’m not sure why you would have a big twist like Den of Temptation and then shut it down after only four weeks.

A lot of people on twitter said that they thought Cody handled being evicted well and that they liked him more during his interview with Julie than they ever liked him when he was in the house.  What did y’all think of his interview with Julie?

Big Brother 19 — Cody’s Bad Week

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 11, 2017

Hi y’all!

Look, I’ll just be honest.  I have had a really, really terrible day and I’m not in a particularly good mood.  I’m not asking for sympathy.  It’s just something that happens.  I’m sure everyone who reads this blog has had to deal with a bad day or two as well.  What’s the old saying?  Only game show hosts are happy all the time.

That said, I could have the worst week of my life and it would still probably be better than the week that Cody and Jessica have had.

Let’s consider this:

Cody becomes HoH.  He forms a mega alliance.  He starts a showmance.  He’s got everything and it just took him one week!

But then, suddenly, everything falls apart.  On eviction night, both he and Jessica are totally blindsided when Jillian is voted out of the house.  During the HoH competition, Cody can only watch as literally every other houseguest helps Paul become the new Head of Household.  In just one night, Cody went from thinking that he was the most powerful person in the house to knowing that he actually had no power whatsoever.

I don’t know for sure but I’m going to guess that Cody was a recruit.  So many of the mistakes he made were mistakes that, in theory, would never be made by someone who knew the game.  Anyone who has watched Big Brother knows that it’s usually a mistake to compete too hard.  It’s a mistake to try to form a mega-alliance, especially during the first week.  It’s a mistake to assume that people will just do what you say.  For that matter, anyone with any Big Brother experience would have known that there was no way that the show’s only returning player would be evicted during the first week.

So now, Cody is out of power.  And not only does the new HoH hate him but he’s also made it clear that anyone who is friendly to either Cody or Jessica will automatically become a target.

Cody is now totally isolated from the house.  Even though neither he nor Jessica were nominated for eviction, Cody knew that he was still the target.  He did not get to compete for the veto.  And now, after the veto ceremony, he’s been put on the block.  He is totally powerless to prevent anything that’s happening.

Oh!  And, on top of all that, he’s a have not.  He’s eating slop.  He’s taking cold showers.  He’s sleeping on a bed of spikes.  AND HE HAS TO WEAR A FROG COSTUME AND HOP AROUND THE HOUSE!

I mean, honestly, when I consider all of that, I realize that my occasional bad days are nothing compared to what’s going on with Cody and Jessica.

It’s funny.  On twitter, a lot of people dislike Cody and Jessica.  I know that some of you on the blog dislike Cody and some of you like him.  Out of respect for both sides, I’ve tried to keep my feelings about both him and Jessica to myself.  (I don’t particularly like Cody and Jessica but, at the same time, I don’t really like Paul and Christmas that much either.)  But, over the past few days, there’s been subtle shift, at least as far as the Big Brother fans on twitter are concerned.  It’s not that Cody has gotten anymore popular as much as Paul’s obsession with not just evicting but destroying him has led to a backlash against Paul.  I mean, evicting people is a part of the game.  And we all love a good blindside.  But Paul’s obsession with vengeance is not exactly a good look for anyone.

Anyway, right now, the only way that Cody could avoid eviction would be if Christmas goes to the hospital on Wednesday for her surgery and doesn’t get to re-enter the house.  If that happened, I imagine this week’s eviction would be canceled.  But Christmas has said that she’s determined to return.

So, right now, it looks like it’s going to be 8-1-1 vote, assuming Kevin actually follows Paul’s orders to vote for Ramses and Jessica votes for Alex.  Cody will be evicted but, if there is a battle back, I could easily imagine Cody winning it.

(Paul has been telling everyone that there won’t be a battleback until they reach the jury.  Obviously, he doesn’t know that there’s a Friday show coming up in just two weeks…)

If Cody comes back, it’ll be interesting to see what happens.

And, as always, we will see what happens!

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 19 — The Results of the Veto Meeting

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 10, 2017

Hi, y’all!

Just a quick update to let you know what’s happening in the house.  Most of you already know this but, just in case you haven’t gotten a chance to check the live feeds, here you go:

They had the veto meeting earlier today.  As was planned, Paul used the veto.  He used it on Josh and he placed Corey on the block.  Apparently, at the meeting, Josh attempted to make a speech of his own.  (Usually, but not always, the veto holder will give the two people on the block a chance to argue their case.  So maybe that’s what happened.)  Whatever it was that Josh said, it got Cody and Jessica extremely angry with him.  In fact, Cody and Jessica are so mad at him that, earlier today, Cody was saying that, when he gets out of the house, he might tell everyone that Josh is a sexual predator.

(Raven has apparently said that she caught Josh watching her while she was in the shower.)

So, it looks like Paul is going to get what he wants but, as usual, he’s got a second plan at work.  He has told Kevin that he wants Kevin to cast his vote for Ramses.  Paul says he wants to cause drama in the house and, hopefully, fool people into thinking that Jason cannot be trusted.

Paul and Christmas are currently obsessed with getting Ramses out.  Earlier, Christmas was even interrogating Kevin, demanding to know why he and Ramses were always hanging out together.  Kevin assured her that he doesn’t talk game with Ramses.

Anyway, Paul is now so obsessed with Ramses that he actually wants to get Ramses out of the house before Jason!  Even though Ramses is, in almost no way, a real threat.  Right now, it sounds like Paul’s plan is to get Cody out this week, Jessica out next week, and then Ramses.

(If Paul succeeds at that plan, all he’s guaranteeing is that, if there is a battleback, Cody won’t have any serious competition.)

That said, right now, I don’t think that Paul has as much power as he thinks he does.  Nobody likes either Cody or Jessica so they won’t mind going along with his plan as far as those two are concerned.  But Ramses?  Ramses really hasn’t done anything major to anyone.  Kevin, for his part, certainly didn’t seem enthusiastic about Paul’s plan to frame Jason.  Paul and Christmas both seem to assume that Kevin will do whatever they want and it’s kind of funny that neither seems to realize that Kevin really isn’t that much into them.

Christmas has left the house for a doctor’s appointment.  She’ll be having surgery on her foot on Wednesday.  She says that she will be coming back to the house, no matter what.  We’ll see.  It’s always been my understanding of the rules that, if you leave the house for an extended period of time, you’re out of the game.  That said, Christmas says that, when she last went to the doctor, production took all sorts of precautions to keep anyone on the outside from knowing who she was.

Anyway, that’s it for now!  Cody, Alex, and Ramses are on the block and it looks like Cody will be leaving the house on Thursday!

Lisa Marie

P.S. As Erin and JT pointed out in the comments under the last post, the next temptation is a big one!  The Halting Hex lets you cancel any eviction.  I’ve seen a lot of people online saying that they want to give it to Josh because they feel he’s been bullied.  Personally,  I think Josh has been bullied but, at the same time, he also bullied Megan to the extent that she self-evicted.  It’s called karma and I’m not going to be crying any tears for Josh.  I voted for Ramses, because he actually has been bullied and, quite frankly, I think the game will be more interesting if a temptation goes to someone on the other side of the house.

Just my opinion, as always.
