Big Brother Over The Top: Here’s a New Post!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 29, 2016

Hey y’all!

So, there’s not really anything new to report because we’re still waiting for the comp that will determine whether Morgan or Justin joins Jason and Kryssie in the final three.  However, I noticed that we were over 100 comments under the previous post so I decided to give y’all a new one to comment under.

So, if I’ve managed to follow everything correctly, the final comp will occur tomorrow.  It will be between Morgan and Justin.  The loser will be evicted.  The winner joins the final three.  Jason and Kryssie are definitely hoping that their former enemy, Morgan, will join them in the final three.  They’ve been coaching and advising her.  Justin, who has never won a single comp on the show, is not happy about this at all.

His anger could either help or hurt him.  Right now, it looks like it’s going to hurt him.  He doesn’t look like he’s preparing mentally for the last challenge.  He also seems like he’s given up.  However, there’s also a chance that he might be so angry that, when it comes time for the challenge, he suddenly focuses on winning.  We’ve seen it happen before.

You know what would be funny?  If Morgan made it into the final and then the Misfit fans ended up splitting their votes between Jason and Kryssie, leading to Morgan pulling and upset and winning.  That’s probably a fantasy on my part but stranger things have happened!

Anyway, we’ll see what happens tomorrow!

Big Brother Over The Top: And then there were 4

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 24, 2016

Hi y’all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, this season is coming to a conclusion.  It doesn’t look like the conclusion that I was hoping for but that’s Big Brother!  Sometimes, your favorite wins.  Sometimes, they don’t.

Just a quick recap of where things stand now:

Last night, Shelby was voted out of the house.  It was interesting to watch her and Kryssie give their final speeches.  Kryssie gave one of her painfully fake speeches.  Shelby stood up and revealed that she was a lawyer, that she was smarter than she had let on, and basically told everyone to kiss her ass.  Good for Shelby!  That’s the way to go out.

Anyway, with Shelby gone, the HoH comp was between Kryssie, Jason, and Justin.  And, sadly, Jason won.  As the new HoH, Jason was given the power to select one HG to take to the final three with him.  The two remaining HGs will then compete and the winner of the comp will move on and the loser will be evicted.

Well, of course, Jason is going to take Kryssie to the final three with him.  That means that Justin will now have to compete again Morgan for the third spot.  Justin is not particularly happy about this because he sucks at comps.   He hasn’t won a comp all season.  Morgan, on the other hand, has.

Right now, in the Big Brother House, Jason, Morgan, and Kryssie are making Thanksgiving dinner.  Justin is in his room, alone and sulking.  And, quite frankly, I don’t blame him.  He knows that, if Jason really wanted him in the final three, Jason would have picked him and not Kryssie.

Sorry, Justin — you trust the wrong guy.

Anyway, here’s hoping all of you are having and continue to have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Big Brother Over The Top: The Diary Room Is Open!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 22, 2016

On Big Brother Over The Top, America’s vote is pretty much finished.  No longer is America selecting care packages.  No longer is America selecting a third nominee.  No longer is America voting for eviction.  America will not be voting again until the finale.

HOWEVER, WE CAN STILL VOTE HERE!

It’s time to open the Diary Room!

Now, earlier today, Jason used his veto on himself and Morgan was forced to put up Shelby.  So, it looks like Shelby is going to be evicted but you can still cast your vote here!

Who do you vote to evict?

Do you vote to evict…

KRYSSIE, who should have been evicted weeks ago

or

SHELBY, who will probably be evicted this week?

Cast your vote in the comments below or over on the poll on the right side of the page!  And be sure to watch on Wednesday to see what happens!

Big Brother Over The Top: What a Sad Day

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 21, 2016

Hi y’all!

Well, with 158 comments under the previous post, I guess it’s time to give everyone a new page under which to comment.

Poor Shelby!  Shelby is my favorite in the house and, personally, I think she is the most deserving of a victory.  But it appears that she’s going to be voted out this week, despite the fact that Morgan is HoH.

Morgan did the right thing, of course.  She nominated Jason and Kryssie for eviction.  America, meanwhile, gave Justin a pass to the final four, which means that he cannot be nominated or put up as a renom.  It looked like Jason’s day were numbered in the house, which should have been a good thing for all the players because there’s no way that any of them could beat Jason’s fan base in the final two.

However, things don’t always work out like we want them to.  Today, the veto was won by Jason.  Jason’s going to use it on himself and Morgan will be left with no choice but to put Shelby.  I assume that, unless she somehow wins a veto next week, Morgan will be the next HG evicted.

And then, we’ll have to chose between Justin, Jason, and Kryssie for this season’s winner.  Out of those three, I would vote for Justin.  Jason is way too misogynistic to get me vote.  Kryssie is too self-centered.  So, I’ll go for Justin.

As always, we’ll see what happens!

Big Brother Over The Top: The End Approaches

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 17, 2016

Hi, everyone!

Here’s a new post for everyone to comment under!

Well, Big Brother Over The Top is reaching its conclusion.  Only a few more weeks to go.  At this point, I’m cheering for Shelby and Morgan.  I know that the odds are against them but strangers things have happened!

It’s odd — as much as I was kind of dreading having to deal with an online Big Brother, the season has actually moved pretty quickly.  There’s been things that I’ve liked and some things that I don’t like.  I actually do kind of like the idea of America’s votes actually having an impact on the game, though I’m do think it’s given Jason an unfair advantage.  I’d say let America keep its power but stop sending in veterans and/or recruiting people who are related to previous Big Brother competitors.

I’m definitely not a fan of the drawn out nomination ceremony.  But I do like the fact that they’ve allowed us to watch the competitions online.

There are definitely lessons that production could learn from what has worked and has not worked with Big Brother Over The Top.

Anyway, last night, Danielle was voted out of the house.  I would have rather seen Jason go but oh well.  If Jason isn’t evicted, he’s going to win this season.  His fans are going to vote for him no matter what.

The current HoH is MORGAN!  Fortunately, last week was also the last week that America would cast votes for America’s Nominee.  So, that means that Shelby doesn’t have to worry about all of Jason’s fans nominating her for eviction.  So, it should be a member of the Late Night Jamboree going home this week!

We’ll see what happens,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother Over The Top: The Diary Room Is Now Open!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 15, 2016

Well, yesterday, America spoke and it named Morgan as the third nominee!

However, just a few hours later, Shelby won the veto!  And earlier today, she used that veto on Morgan!  I think this is the first time, this season, that one of America’s nominations has been vetoed.  And personally, I’m really happy that it happened.  Jason and the Misfits were getting way too complacent so it’s about time they actually had to make a strategic decision beyond just voting out someone from the other side of the house.

Now, since Mogan was America’s nominee, there will be no replacement nominee.  For the first time this season, there will only be two people up for eviction.

So, let’s open up the Diary Room!

Do you vote to evict…

DANIELLE, the single mother who has been begging America to save her

or

JASON, the all-star with an attitude?

Cast your vote in the comments below or use the poll over on the right side of the page!

As for me, I’m voting for Jason.  Why?

  1. Jason is annoying and entitled.
  2. Jason is never called out on his misogynistic BS.
  3. If Jason makes it to the finale, he’ll win easily because of his rabid fan base.  So, the only way to make the finale interesting is to vote Jason out now!

Happy voting!

Big Brother Over The Top: Shelby’s Nominations

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 14, 2016

Hi everyone!

Well, here’s a quick update for everyone.  Mostly I just want to give y’all a new page to comment under.  For those who may not have heard yet, here’s the current situation in the Big Brother House:

Shelby is HoH.

Apparently, there is no care package this week.  I assume that’s because they did a special care package during the double eviction.

Shelby has nominated … JASON AND DANIELLE FOR EVICTION!

Now, to be honest, it’s all up to America.  On twitter, Jason’s fans are demanding that Morgan be nominated.  If America does nominate Morgan then that means only Justin and Kryssie will be voting to evict and Morgan is pretty much guaranteed to be voted out (unless, of course, she wins the veto).  I’m hoping that America will nominate Kryssie and I just gave her all my votes.

But, honestly, I think it’s going to be Morgan.  Jason has a very dedicated fan base.

We’ll find out tomorrow!

Big Brother Over The Top: Sorry For The Late Update

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 10, 2016

Hi, everyone!

I’m sorry for the late update.  As most of you know, yesterday was my birthday so I was out celebrating last night and I’ve been recovering today! 🙂

So, last night, we had a double eviction.  First Alex was evicted, which we all saw coming.  Then, they held another HoH competition, which Danielle won.  Then, the viewers hastily voted on a care package, which Morgan won.  As a result of getting the package, Morgan also won safety for herself and the power to make someone else safe.  Since Morgan knew that Whitney had betrayed the ballsmashers and gone over to the other side of the house, it was not a surprise when Morgan made Shelby safe.

So, as a result, Danielle could not nominate two of the biggest targets in the house.  So, instead, she nominated Justin and Whitney for eviction.  Morgan and Shelby voted to evict Justin.  Jason and Kryssie voted to evict Whitney.  Danielle broke the tie but sending Whitney home.

(By the way, Rachel made a surprise appearance and hosted the HoH comp.  I’m trying to erase that from my memory because … well, it was Rachel.)

After all that, it was time for another HoH comp!  And we’re still waiting for the results of that because one of those classic Big Brother HoH screwups occurred!  Amazingly, it always seems like there’s some sort of controversy when it comes to Big Brother HoH comps.  Either the rules aren’t clear or they seem to change at the last minute or they don’t make any sense … it’s really pretty much the opposite of Survivor.

Basically, this was a timed comp.  It involved using mirrors to point a laser beam at a target.  It was a pretty complicated challenge, to be honest.  I wouldn’t have been able to do it within the 20 minute time limit.

Anyway, of the competing houseguests, Jason had the quickest time but one of Shelby’s mirrors broke during her turn!  According to the rulebook, if a mirror was broken during the comp, the HG would be disqualified.  However, Shelby claims that the mirror was actually broken before she even started her turn.  Anyway, Shelby was basically so upset that production agreed to let her and Jason do a second HoH competition tonight.  Whoever wins will be the new HoH.

Needless to say, Jason is not happy.

Jason is also not happy because the HGs just learned that Donald Trump was elected President.  Danielle and Kyrssie started crying.  Shelby is pretty shaken as well.  Jason cannot stop talking about how angry he is but, what’s interesting, is that Jason also said that he’s not even registered to vote.

Honestly, Jason — you’re 27 years old.  You’re always going on and on abut the way you think the world needs to be.  Right now, you’re throwing a fit over how the election turned out.  BUT YOU’RE NOT EVEN REGISTERED TO VOTE!

Jason is the reason my generation can’t have nice things.

Anyway, HoH comp is tonight!  We’ll see who wins!

(If Shelby wins, expect a lot of outrage on twitter.)

Big Brother Over The Top: Bleh!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on November 7, 2016

Hi, everyone!

So, I’m finally ready to do an update.  Thank you everyone for your patience, I’ve been under the weather.  Luckily, our commenters are doing a fantastic job of keeping things updated on the site!  Thank you, everyone!

So, I’m not real happy with how this week is shaping up.  I was excited, of course, when Shelby won HoH but then Jason won the care package, which allowed him to be co-HoH.  I’ve said this before and I know that a lot of y’all have said it as well but it really is the truth: Jason has entered this game with an unfair advantage.  If production is going to give this much power to the viewers, they needed to allow all of the houseguests to start on an even playing field.  Either that or else it needed to be an all-star season so that everyone would start with fanbase.

It wouldn’t bother me so much if Jason himself wasn’t such a whiny little misogynist.  But it is what it is, right?

Anyway, Shelby and Jason are co-HoHs.  (Don’t even get me started on what I think about the idea of having two HoHs.)  Shelby nominated Whitney.  Jason nominated Danielle.  And then America nominated Alex.

We had the veto comp earlier today.  Jason won it, which means that Danielle is probably going to come down and Morgan will go up in her place.  That means that, just like last week, only one side of the house will get to vote.  It’ll the Late Night Jamboree casting all the votes, which means that Alex’s days are probably numbered.

We’ll see what happens!

Again, thank you to everyone who has been commenting and helping to keep this site up to date!  You’re the best!
