Big Brother 18: Frank May Be In Trouble

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 6, 2016

Hi, y’all!

So, this is going to be a short update.  I apologize for that but the news I’m about to share is kind of big, as far as the game is concerned.

Now, it still appears that, on Thursday, Victor will be evicted from the house.  Frank and Tiffany still can’t stand each other and Frank has occasionally mentioned that he wants her out of the house but it doesn’t look like he’s planning on making his move this week or next.  As of right now, Frank believes that they are going to take out Victor on Thursday and then Paul next week and then maybe Tiffany after that.

However, other houseguests have different plans.

From the day the game began, Frank and Da’Vonne have had a difficult relationship.  They’re allies because they’re both veterans but otherwise, they don’t really seem to like each other.  I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Frank and Da’Vonne both want to be in charge.  Unlike James and Nicole, both Frank and Da’Vonne are obviously still bitter over what happened on their previous seasons.  As a result, they’re both determined to win this season and each sees the other as a threat.

Well, it looks like Da’Vonne may be plotting to take Frank out a lot earlier than anyone originally suspected.  In fact, it looks like Da’Vonne may be plotting to target Frank next week.  Along with Zakiyah, she came up with a plan.  Essentially, her plan was for Corey to win HoH and nominated two pawns.  And then, through either the roadkill or the veto comp, Frank would be nominated and voted out.

Da’Vonne spent a lot of time today talking to Corey and Nicole, trying to get them onboard the plan to get rid of Frank sooner than later.  She also talked to Tiffany, who already hates Frank anyway.  While Tiffany is on board with getting rid of Frank, Corey and Nicole aren’t sure if they can trust Da’Vonne.

Personally, I think Da’Vonne may be making the same mistake that she made last season.  She’s making her big move too early.  If I was her, I would take advantage of the fact that there’s currently two all-girl alliances.  I would stick with the plan to get rid of Victor and then Paul.  Once Paul and Victor are gone, it’ll be easier to convince Bronte and Bridgette to join with the Fatal Five.  (Because of her relationship with James, Nicole might be harder to recruit.)  Now having the numbers, the new Fatal Seven would be able to take out all the remaining men in the house.

Instead, by making her move this early, Da’Vonne is running the risk of having it blow up in her face.  It doesn’t help that she’s been telling everyone that Frank is plotting against them and then telling Frank that everyone else is plotting against him.  If everyone ever gets together and seriously compares the different stories that Da’Vonne has told them, it could be bad news for her.

However, Da’Vonne does have one big thing on her side.  Frank is insanely overconfident.  He suspects that something is going on but, much as happened the last time he played the game, Frank is way too sure of himself.

We’ll see what happens but right now, it looks like their could be a major shakeup in the house after Thursday’s show!

Big Brother 18: Veto Ceremony Results!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 5, 2016

bb101

Hi, everyone!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!  I spent today mostly visiting with family and friends, which means that I did not get much of a chance to watch much of the live feeds.  I’m watching right now and the house is surprisingly calm.

Why is “surprisingly?”

Well, despite what I and the houseguests originally thought, they did have the POV ceremony today and, as expected, Paulie took Paul off the block and replaced him with Victor.

Now, I was expecting a lot of drama after Victor got nominated.  I think that everyone in the house was expecting Victor to blow up and start throwing around furniture and yelling at people and basically acting like a fool.

Instead, Victor seems to be taking his nomination pretty well.  And let’s give him some credit — after he was nominated, he immediately went to Frank and Da’Vonne and promised them safety if they would save him this week.  It probably won’t save him but still, Victor deserves some credit for trying to do something to save himself.  He hasn’t given up.

And, even if Victor is voted out, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him return.  He’s in good shape.  He can win challenges.  I imagine that, in a competition with either Glenn or Jozea, Victor would win.  Considering that the next two big targets in the house are Paul and Bronte, Victor has a very good chance of being the evicted house guest who gets to return.

I have to admit that I’ve kind of changed my mind on Victor.  Originally, I was all for voting him out but, as I watch the feeds right now, I’m kind of hoping that everyone will change their mind and vote out Tiffany.  With each passing day, Tiffany reminds me more and more of her sister and not in a good way.  One of the problems I had with the previous season of Big Brother is that, after a few weeks, the whole show basically just became nonstop Ruosso drama.  I kind of worry that the same thing could happen if Tiffany isn’t voted out soon.

So, as a viewer who is hoping for an entertaining season, I hope that the rest of the house realizes that Tiffany is too paranoid to be trusted and goes ahead and votes her out.

Or, for that matter, I would be happy if they just went ahead and voted out Bronte this week.  Seriously, if anyone is wasting space in the house, it’s … well, actually, Bridgette is wasting more space than Bronte. But Bronte is a close second!  Add to that, I think Natalie could be a strong player if she wasn’t being held down with her Bronte/Bridgette alliance.

Add to that, Bronte is just so fake.  She may claim to be a mathematician but her main career is acting.  Watch her on the live feeds and you’ll see that the cutesy voice and the nervous smile is something that she just uses for the live show.  Oddly, she doesn’t seem to realize that the live feeds are on 24 hours a day, which leads me to suspect that she’s another recruit who hasn’t seen much of the show.

Strategically, I can see why getting rid of Victor is a good idea.  But, as a viewer, I’m hoping that everyone changes their mind and votes out either Tiffany or Bronte.

That’s it for now!  Happy 4th!

Big Brother 18: When Is The Veto Meeting!?

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 3, 2016

Hi, everyone!

Well, I was sure we would have some drama today because of the veto meeting.  But it turns out that they didn’t do the veto meeting today.  In fact, Nicole was telling Frank that she doesn’t think that they’ll be doing the veto meeting until Tuesday because of the 4th of July Holiday!

And I guess that makes sense.  I mean, would you really want to hold a veto meeting on the 4th of July?  Would you want to be the head of household who forever ruins a holiday for one person?  I can understand why they’re holding off on the veto ceremony but it still seem kind of unfair to me.

Look at it from Victor’s point of view.  He doesn’t know that he’s going up, though he will soon enough.  But the whole idea is that, after you’re nominated, you’re supposed to campaign to stay.  And sometimes, it can make more than a few days to convince someone to keep you.  Instead, Victor is going to be nominated and then he’s only going to have a day and a half to campaign before the vote.  And while it’s true that it probably wouldn’t make any difference even if Victor did have the usual week to campaign, it still seems a little bit unfair.

I can understand not wanting to do the ceremony on the 4th.  So, why not do it today?  I may not like Victor that much (though he is nice to look at) but he at least deserves a fighting chance!

And, to be honest, there are a few cracks in the 8-pack alliance.  Almost all of those cracks are due to Tiffany.  At first, I thought that Da’Vonne might only be putting on an act about distrusting Tiffany but no, Da’Vonne truly does not trust her.  Tiffany even told Da’Vonne and Zakiyah that Bronte, Natalie, and Bridgette were open to an all-girls alliance and Da’Vonne’s response was to tell Zakiyah that she doesn’t believe a word that Tiffany’s saying.

(In this case, Tiffany was telling the truth.)

Frank, who has pretty much emerged as the 8-pack’s main strategist, also doesn’t trust Tiffany.  Everyone seems to feel that she’s too close to Paulie and that she can’t be trusted.  Tiffany certainly didn’t help herself by melting down after she was nominated.

So, Victor actually could exploit those weaknesses if he was smart enough and he had the time.  But, in all probability, he’s not smart enough and he won’t have the time.

In other words — Goodbye, eye candy!

Have a great 4th of July!

Big Brother 18: On Vetoes and Roadkills and Victors

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 3, 2016

bb100

Hi, everyone!

Because of the holiday, this is going to be a quick update but luckily, there’s not much to report.  The plan to backdoor Victor is moving along smoothly and it doesn’t look like anything is going to change between tonight and Thursday.

Earlier today, Tiffany was officially revealed to be the roadkill nominee.  Tiffany has been freaking out about this ever since she first found out Victor had nominated her.  Last night, many tears were shed and we got a chance to see just how paranoid Tiffany actually is.

As the Eight Pack explained to her, Tiffany could not win the veto.  If Tiffany won the veto, that would lead to Victor picking the replacement nominee.  When Tiffany heard this, she freaked out.  Her immediate reaction was to assume that she actually was the target and the entire house was conspiring to blindside her.  Fortunately, the veterans were able to talk Tiffany off of her metaphorical ledge but the damage was done.  By revealing that she doesn’t trust her alliance, Tiffany also gave her alliance a reason not to trust her.  Frank, who has never been a huge Tiffany fan to begin with, is now determined to get rid of her as soon as they finish taking out the newbie alliance.

As far as the veto competition went, the 8 pack got very lucky in that Victor was not selected to play.  Instead, the competitors were Tiffany, Paul, Bronte, Paulie, Zakiyah, and Da’Vonne.  Paulie won the veto but apparently, Tiffany did not throw the competition.  Da’Vonne has complained to both Frank and James that Tiffany seemed to be trying really hard to win.

(Then again, Da’Vonne also told Zakiyah that her first loyalty is to the Fatal Five and that she was only criticizing Tiffany to keep James and Frank from realizing that the girls have a side alliance.  For her part, Tiffany has calmed down now and seems to finally be convinced that she’s not this week’s target.  Still, when Tiffany had her little meltdown, it was like a flashback to the worst of Vanessa.)

So, as of right now, Paulie has the veto and apparently, he’s planning on using it on Paul.  Victor will go up in Paul’s place and will be evicted on Thursday.  As of right now, Victor appears to have no idea that he’s about to nominated, though Paulie has said that he might tell Victor before the Veto ceremony, just so Victor isn’t totally caught off guard.

So, right now, Victor should be out of the house come Thursday and he will be competing against either Glenn or Jozea for a chance to return.

One final note: I’m currently watching the feeds and it seems like Paul is making an effort to hang out with the entire house, as opposed to just hanging out with Bronte and Victor like he did last week.  Unfortunately, I don’t think Paul has weapons necessary to launch a charm offensive.

That’s it for now!

Big Brother 18: Here Are The Nominations (so far…)

by Lisa Marie Bowman on July 1, 2016

bb99

Hi, everyone!

If y’all have been following the comments then you already know who has been nominated for eviction and who won today’s roadkill comp.  But I’m going to go ahead and post it here, just to make everything official! 🙂

So, Paulie, who got a letter from Cody as a reward for winning HoH, made his nominations earlier today.  And it’s really not a shock who he decided to nominate.  We knew that he was going to nominate two people from the newbie alliance and we also knew that, as a member of Catagory Four, Bridgette cannot be nominated.

So, Paulie nominated: Paul and Bronte!  However, the plan is to backdoor Victor and I have to say that I personally am happy that Paulie did not waste his time by nominating a pawn or trying to do anything too complicated.  Instead, he nominated two people who voted against him.  Even if Victor wins the veto and uses it to take Paul or Bronte off the block, Paulie is almost guaranteed to get rid of at least one enemy this week.

Now, a lot of people have said that it seems strange that Paulie is targeting Victor instead of Paul.  I have to admit that I find it a little bit strange as well.  However, I think I understand Paulie’s logic.  Nobody in the house takes Paul that seriously.  He’s viewed as being a joke and, despite the fact that he did win last week’s veto, he’s not viewed as being a real competition threat.  Victor, on the other hand, is in great shape and he actually seems to have more influence over Natalie, Bronte, and Bridgette than Paul.  Paul is a hundred times more obnoxious and irritating to live with but, strategically, it probably does make more sense to take out Victor.

(Though, to be honest, if I was HoH, I would probably be trying to get rid of either Natalie or Bronte because the whole mean girl thing is so tedious.)

Anyway, they had the roadkill competition after the nominations and guess who won?  VICTOR!  Now, that sounds like that would be a bad thing, right?  Wrong.  Victor’s an idiot.  He has basically let everyone in the house know that he won and, tomorrow, everyone will know that Victor is responsible for the third nomination.  SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS VICTOR THINKING!?

Originally, Victor was planning on nominating either James or Nicole and that actually would have been a smart move on his part.  Some members of the Eight Pack don’t trust James because he’s on Team Unicorn with Natalie, Bronte, and Victor.  Nicole, meanwhile, has already proven that she can win HoH.  Victor could, at the very least, make a convincing argument that James and Nicole are both bigger threats than either Paul or Bronte.

However, Victor made the mistake of asking others for advice.  I’m not totally sure who convinced him to do what he did but I think it may have been Frank.  I guess we’ll find out for sure on Sunday.  But regardless, Victor somehow got it into his head that it would be a good idea to nominate Tiffany!

Victor made his nomination earlier today and it will be officially revealed tomorrow before the Veto comp.  The only way that this could work to Victor’s advantage would be if Tiffany has a major meltdown and goes so overboard that everyone decides to go ahead and get rid of her.  Considering that Tiffany spent hours in bed, crying over a relatively innocent comment that Frank made, it’s totally possible that this could happen.

But for now, it looks like Victor’s in trouble.

Big Brother 18 — A Few Thoughts on Thursday’s Show!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on June 30, 2016

bb18

Hi, everyone!

Well, tonight was the first live eviction!  A houseguest was voted out.  A new HoH was determined.  And we learned about a new twist!

First off, here’s the specifics.  By now, you’ve probably heard that, last night, Frank finally snapped and told Natalie that the plan was to vote out Jozea.  Word spread around the house but I don’t know if Jozea found out that he was going to voted out or not.  During the live show, he looked really nervous.  He was not his usual talkative self and his final plea for votes was unusually subdued.  When he found out that he had been evicted, you could tell that he was upset but he didn’t look shocked.  This leads me to suspect that, before the show went live, he found out that he was going to be voted out.

Paulie’s pre-vote statement was funny and confident.  He did an imitation of Al Pacino in Scarface, which showed that he knew he was safe.  As for Bridgette — she basically argued that she should be kept in the house because she’s “sweet.”  She looked sincerely worried, despite the fact that she was told last night that Jozea was the target.  Maybe she thought that she was about to be blind-sided, who knows?

Here’s how everyone voted:

Victor — Paulie

Zakiyah — Josea

Paul — Paulie

Frank — Jozea

James — Jozea

Corey — Jozea

Da’Vonne — Jozea

Michelle — Jozea

Bronte — Paulie

Natalie — Paulie

Tiffany — Jozea

There were rumors that Julie would not be revealing the vote totals this season but that turned out not to be the case.  She announced that, by a vote of 7-4, Jozea had been evicted from the house.  Jozea hugged everyone but he didn’t say anything as he left the house.

During his interview with Julie, Jozea was obviously angry.  Oddly, he accused Natalie of betraying him, despite the fact that she voted for him to stay.  (Even after being evicted, Jozea doesn’t have a clue what’s happening in the house.)  Jozea talked a lot about karma and declared that everyone who had betrayed him would live to regret it.  Seriously, it was super creepy.

Anyway, it turns out that Jozea may be coming back!  In an idea borrowed for Survivor, the evicted houseguests will compete against each other every week.  For instance, Jozea is going to compete against Glenn.  The loser of the competition will be sent home.  The winner of the competition will stick around for a week so that he or she can compete against the next evicted houseguest.  They’ll keep doing this for five weeks until the last evicted houseguest standing will be sent back into the house!

So, we might not be done with Jozea.  I’m pretty sure that Jozea can defeat Glenn but we’ll see what happens.

As for the HoH competition, everyone is still playing in teams.  In this case, the four teams had to carry a bunch of balls back and forth, from one end of the backyard to the other.  After a team had managed to gather 40 balls, they would select one teammate to go across to get the 41st ball.  Assuming that teammate managed to make it across the obstacle course without losing the ball, he or she would become the new HoH and the entire team would have immunity.

Now, this is interesting because, with the way the teams are set up, James could not allow his team to win the competition.  Team Unicorn, after all, is made up of James and three of the people who voted to keep Josea in the house.  Apparently, those three wanted Victor to become HoH.  So, apparently, James threw the competition in order to keep Team Unicorn from winning.

Who did win?

PAULIE!

That’s right — Paulie won HoH.  That means that Frank, Michelle, Paulie, and Bridgette are all safe this week!  It’s also bad news for Paul, Victor, Natalie, and Bronte because the 8-pack is still in control of the house.  And those four players have been so obnoxious that I doubt anyone is going to want to help either one of them out.

That’s it for now!  Jozea is gone and Paulie is HoH!

YAY!

Big Brother 18 — Divisions

by Lisa Marie Bowman on June 29, 2016

Hi everyone!

Well, today, things have been kind of uneventful in the Big Brother house.  The plan to evict Jozea is firmly set in stone and, despite whatever doubts Frank and Da’Vonne may have had yesterday, it doesn’t appear that the plan is going to change.

And oddly, Jozea remains totally unaware.  This afternoon, when I got a chance to look at the live feeds, I saw Jozea giving Michelle advise on how to improve her social game and, for neither the first nor the last time, I marveled at just how out-of-touch Jozea seems to be with the mood of the house.  It’s true that Michelle is one of the quieter houseguests but, at the same time, she’s managed to work herself into the Eight Pack.  The veterans trust her.  Michelle is in as good a position as anyone can be during the first week of the game.

And then you consider Jozea.  Jozea never stops talking,  Jozea never stops demanding attention.  Jozea has to be the center of every conversation and, whenever he can get anyone to talk to him, he always ends up saying something either extremely stupid or extremely offensive.  Jozea thinks that he and Paul are running the house yet every time you see Jozea, he’s isolated.  Jozea’s social game has made him a pariah and he doesn’t even realize it.

Consider what’s been going on tonight.  For the past few hours, the house has been divided into two groups.

The first group is gathered outside and is composed of Jozea, Paul, Bridgette, Victor, Natalie, and Bronte.  And it is literally one of the most boring gathering that I have ever seen on Big Brother.  Jozea is staring off into space.  Paul is staring at his hand and apparently counting his fingers.  Bridgette is so excited that she keeps closing her eyes and attempting to go to sleep.  Meanwhile, Brone, Victor, and Natalie are working out and I am, once again, struck by how little personality any of those three really have.

(By the way, did you know that Natalie used to be a cheerleader?  She’s only mentioned it a few thousands times.)

The second group is everyone else in the house.  They’re gathered in the kitchen.  They’re talking.  They’re singing.  They’re dancing.  They’re having a great time!  This is a confident group of people.  They know who they are voting out and they don’t have the slightest doubt about their decision.  They’re just enjoying themselves until Thursday night.

And what’s amazing is that the first group continues to sincerely believe that they are in charge of the house!

Now, I should mention that, as I was tying this, Paul eventually got up and went inside, where he joined the first group.  But what’s interesting is that the party pretty much broke up as soon as Paul showed up.  Paul doesn’t seem to realize that his presence inspires people to leave the room.

Anyway, Jozea will be going home on Thursday.  Will he figure it out beforehand or will it be a true blindside?  I don’t think Jozea will ever figure it out on his own.  The delusion is too strong within him.  But the other HGs might tell him an hour before the show, like they used to do during the previous two seasons.  I hope they don’t.  If anyone deserves a good blindside, it’s Jozea and Paul.

As for Wednesday’s show, we’ll get to see the veto competition and ceremony!  Of course, we already know that Paul won it and that Bridgette take his place on the block.  But it will still be interesting to see how it all happened!

And then, on Thursday, it will be time to open up the diary room for the first time!  Here’s hoping that BBBlogger can find the key!

Big Brother 18: Delusions

by Lisa Marie Bowman on June 28, 2016

Hi everyone!

How satisfying is it going to be to see Jozea walk out the door on Thursday?  There have been worse houseguests than Jozea.  In previous seasons, we’ve had racists.  We’ve had misogynists.  We’ve had people that were either amazingly creepy or amazingly unqualified to compete on Big Brother.  Jozea is not the worst houseguest in the history of Big Brother but he is definitely one of the most clueless.

Essentially, ever since he was first nominated, Jozea has been the number one target.  Even his closest allies — and Paul is hardly a genius when it comes to reading the house — have suggested that Jozea needs to calm down and lay low for a little while.  And yet, Jozea continues to remain convinced that the house is going to vote out Paulie on Thursday.

In fact, the only time that Jozea even acknowledges that he could be voted out is when he says that it really doesn’t matter because, if he does go, he’s going to have a career in entertainment now.  He’s going to be the next Mario Lopez.  He’s going to host the Grammys.  He’s going to be the number one star in the world…

You really have to wonder what is going on in Jozea’s head.  Nobody’s been going out of their way to tell Jozea that he’s safe and yet, he seems to not have a doubt in his head.  A part of me wonders if Jozea’s confidence might be the result of the fact that he was recruited for the show.  Perhaps he’s thinking, “They wanted me to be on this show, so there’s no way I’m going to be the first one out.”

Jozea is about to get blindsided by his own delusions.

Now, I will admit that I did panic a little bit earlier today.  Paulie may be safe but that doesn’t mean that the other houseguests trust him.  There’s a reason why Paulie was not included in the Eight Pack.  In fact, he’s the only houseguest who doesn’t seem to have an alliance right now.  He has a showmance of sorts going with Zakiyah and he gets along well with Frank and Corey.  But otherwise, nobody seems to trust him.  The fact that he initially denied being Cody’s brother has not helped him win anyone’s trust and the fact that he admitted to lying when he really didn’t have to has also made him seem like a loose cannon.

So why did I panic?

Because, for a few brief moments, Frank was actually considering keeping Jozea and voting out Paulie.  Da’Vonne is also worried about Paulie, mainly because she feels that, if Paulie stays in the house for too long, he’ll break up Da’Vonne’s alliance with Zakiyah.

So, for a brief moments earlier today, it looked like Frank and Da’Vonne might change their plans.  But, fortunately, it didn’t last long.  Paulie will definitely be a future target but, for now, Frank and Da’Vonne have agreed that they want to take out Jozea, followed by Victor and then Bronte.  The fact that they consider those two to be bigger targets than Paul shows just how little respect anyone in the house seems to have for Paul.

(However, it does look like — if either of them manages to survive the first few evictions — we might have a showmance between — get your gag reflex ready — between Paul and Bronte.)

Why doesn’t anyone have any respect for Paul?  It’s hard to say when you consider that Paul is apparently the greatest guy in the world and he has the greatest friends in the world.  Did you know that Paul has a friend who has Abraham Lincoln’s death mask!?  That’s pretty amazing considering that they didn’t do a death mask for Abraham Lincoln.  Is Paul a habitual liar or is he just dumb or is he playing an elaborate joke on the world?

I guess we’ll learn the answer to that soon.

For now, we’ll just continue to wait for the look of shock on Jozea’s face when he’s evicted on Thursday.

Til next time,

Lisa Marie

Big Brother 18 — Veto Ceremony Results!

by Lisa Marie Bowman on June 26, 2016

bb20

Hi, everyone!

Wow, what a long and exhausting day.  As some of you know, BBBlogger briefly experimented with a new format earlier today.  We’re trying to fix some things on the site, as far as e-mails and numbering is concerned.  Personally, I liked the new format but it turned out we had a slight problem: the new site did not work on several people’s phones!  As you can see, for now, we have switched back the old format.

But seriously, everyone — thank you for your feedback!  I know that it was probably a shock to come on the site and see a new format.  Some of you liked it and some of you didn’t.  What’s important is that you let us know!  BBBlogger is still working on the site so there might be some changes over the upcoming week and we hope that you will continue to let us know what’s working and what is not working.  Just be patient because some things are easier to fix than others.  Thank you! 🙂

Anyway, I’m watching Big Brother After Dark right now and seriously, can they just go ahead and get rid of Paul?  I mean, I know that he won the veto and he has taken himself off the block but I’m just saying — as a favor to me, can we just put him back on the block?  I guess we can’t.  We have to follow the rules.  But seriously, can Paul just go?  Right now, he’s obsessively talking game with Bronte and it’s painful to watch.  When it comes to Paul strategizing with Bronte, it really is the blind leading the blind.

(Paul may be attempting to play the villain, in much the same way that Austin played the villain during the previous season.  But a great villain is entertaining.  Paul’s just a jerk who appears to have numerous issues with women.)

Time and again, we have seen that the best strategy for the first half of any Big Brother summer is to lay low.  Don’t draw undue attention to yourself.  Don’t give anyone reason to think of you as being  a threat.  Don’t get on anyone’s nerves.  Paul has screwed up on every count and, if he hadn’t won that veto, he’d probably be going home on Thursday.

But even winning the veto has just served to put an even bigger target on Paul’s back.  Not only has Paul shown himself to be annoying loudmouth but he’s also shown himself to be a challenge threat.  If Paul survives next week, I’ll be surprised.

However, Paul will survive this week because he won the veto!  They had the veto ceremony earlier today and Paul, of course, took himself off the block.  Bridgette was nominated in his place. Since Frank won the first Roadkill challenge (as we saw on Sunday’s show), he was the one who both nominated Paul and then nominated Bridgette as his replacement.  Since the winner of the roadkill is kept secret from the houseguests, I assume that Frank made his nomination in the Diary Room before the veto ceremony.

So, as of right now, the three nominees are:

Paulie, the wannabe Cody

Jozea, the wannabe Frankie

Bridgette, the wannabe …. actually, Bridgette hasn’t really established an identity for herself.  She’s just kind of there.

Paul and Jozea still believe that they have the votes to evict Paulie.  Earlier Paul told Bridgette that Frank, Da’Vonne, and Zakiyah will join him, Natalie, Victor, and Bronte in voting out Paulie.  Paul is massively misreading the house because, as of right now, there’s no way that Frank, Da, or Zakiyah would vote to keep Jozea.

So, as of right now, it looks like there will be four votes to evict Paulie and everyone else will vote to evict Jozea.  Bye, Jozea!

In others new:

Paul really, really hates Tiffany.  His hatred of her is bordering on the obsessive.  He was just telling Bronte that he hates the fact that Tiffany is always wearing a hat and sunglasses inside.  You know who else always wore a hat and sunglasses inside?  Vanessa!  And yet, I don’t think that Paul has figured out yet that Tiffany is Vanessa’s sister.  Did Paul see last season?  I have to wonder because, so far, he’s playing this game like someone who has never seen Big Brother before.

Last night, Tiffany had a minor breakdown because of something that Frank said to her.  She ended up lying in bed in the HoH room, sobbing with her little bunny hat on her head.  For the life of me, I cannot figure out what Frank said that upset her.  At one point, Frank and Tiffany were talking in the hammock.  Tiffany kept pulling the hat down, so that it was covering her eyes.  Frank jokingly said that it was hard for him to talk to someone who was hiding her eyes.  The feed then cut to someone else and, when it came back to Tiffany, she was suddenly upstairs crying.  If anyone knows what Frank said exactly that so upset Tiffany, please let us know in the comments!

And finally, last night, Corey told a story about how one of his frat brother apparently covered a goat in lighter fluid and nearly set it on fire.  Corey thought it was pretty funny.  I didn’t and neither did a lot of people watching.  In other words, Corey is not exactly popular outside the house right now.  Inside the house, though, he seems to be in a pretty good position.  Everyone likes him, he hasn’t offended anyone, and nobody takes him seriously as a threat.  Paul just told Bronte that he thinks Corey is a lot smarter than he lets on.  Paul might be right, though Corey wasn’t particularly smart when he told that story about the goat.

That’s it for now!  Thank you to everyone who helped us get through this long day!

Lisa Marie
