As for the back thing, back pain affects everyone differently. I had back surgery and so did my husband and we each experienced different pain, different walks and different reactions to each. I know someone who walks very slowly and slightly bent over due to back pain that they can’t fix. So, the back thing may or may not be legitimate with Shelly but neither was that guy on BB who played saying his wife was terminally ill. It’s part of the game. In fact, lying is the second biggest part of this game with winning comps being first IMHO.

I totally agree with you Starfish. I will be honest about Shelly’s lying, I wasn’t sure she was at first because she didn’t totally lie a couple of times, she just hinted. But she has openly admitted it. Actually a pretty good game move in itself. Her own way of playing the game it appears. Got her this far.

We also agree about Rachel. Some of the stuff I saw Brendon say to her made me want to go through the TV and slap him. She didn’t deserve it. She is a totally different person right not IMO.

Courtney: I believe Shelly’s apology sounded sincere and Jordan acted sincerely too. I don’t believe they could have faked it either. Doesn’t mean she shouldn’t be voted out this week but it was good to see.

My next choice is Porsche, why you ask well she has stepped up to the plate and has made a few hits, too bad she was not able to play at the beginning of the game i wonder how it would have turned out if she had been able to. In regard to Shelly, she lies, lies and more lies on top of the lies, having said that they all lie in the bb house goes with the game, and when it gets down to the nitty gritty they all start to turn on each other, as we will see in the not so far future. I find that I dislike the hg when they act so juvenile and especially when they talk crap abt Rachael. I don’t know why but i feel kinda protective of her. It’s like she get knocked down and everyone comes along and takes a kick at her. And i don’t think she deserves to be treated the way she has the whole time she has been in the house.

@Cathy… As fierce competitors, Rachel and Brendan are to be commended. That does not, however, make either one of them particularly appealing to many people, me included.

Brendon is Mr. Know-it-all who needs to complete his PhD quickly and then spend many years thereafter learning how to interact with people, learn to dine, not just stuff his face, and, most importantly, finally discover as most truly intelligent academicians do after finally graduating with advanced degrees that you really don’t know shit after all is said and done.

Rachel is another story. Her voice makes chalk scraping the blackboard see pleasant by comparison. She applies makeup but even that is not enough to soften and hopefully beautify her not so photogenic facial features reflecting from any angle. Then there is her laugh that so resembles Phyllis Diller’s that the first time I heard it I had to do a double take to make sure I wasn’t watching Senior’s BB Assisted Living House. And so far as BB House is concerned, at least, she should be awarded the Vince Lombardi award for game play – “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.” She may like calling others a bitch, but when she loses at anything, she becomes “the” bitch.

In conclusion, one thing is for certain. If and when Brendon and Rachel ever get married, consider that union additional scientific proof that two wrongs will never make a right.

Since we are voting to evict tonight, I vote to evict Adam since he has been of no use to anybody – for better or worse – in the game including himself since day one. Shelly will at least lie her ass off as needed and rally around whomever she thinks will advance her in the game. Even Shelly’s disgusting something trumps Adam’s consistent nothing in my opinion.

They need to evict Shelly, Adam will stay true to Jordan and right now they need someone on their side. Shelly would flip flop like she has been to whoever is in power, especially now when their is no more time left, and everyone knows they can talk her into voting with them.
As much as Adam has not shown much hope, he has been one that has made his own choices for the most part in voting. He has taken some risks in his voting against the norm. I wish he would get over his nerves or whatever his problem is and win an HOH, but might not be in him. I really don’t want to see P/K/S win anything. P&K think they are just the best, and S hasn’t done anything.

@Joyce… Jordan won BB11 and she just might win BB13 too. Maybe she has devised the perfect strategy to win the big prize by closely observing how a fox takes ownership of a chicken coop. The last thing that fox is going to do is pee on the gate just to prove it’s his coop knowing he can’t overpower the fowl lot once they know he’s there. Nope! He just sits back and waits for the right moment to grab the big plump prize while all of the other chickens left in the coop remain convinced he is nowhere to be found.

@ tendr i to know what it’s like to lose a parent through smoking but unfortunately & to my shame i still do it, smoking is like being a druggie you know it’s bad for you but you still do it, i’ve tried patches, gum & false ciggies & did give them up for 10 mnths but 1 temptation was all that it took to get me started again & i hate it .

I vote to evict Shelly, it is part of the game to lie to further yourself in the game of bb, but you make an alliance and you stick to it. To play the whole house and switch sides back and forth with every change of HOH and tell lies to everyone and on everyone is just unnessasary and it will bite you in the butt. Although Rachael can be unlikable at times, you have to admit she plays hard and wants to be there and deserves to be there. Cowlia and Porshe have just started to play the game just a little, shelly and adam just exist in the house they don’t play social or phyiscal game. OK…..ppl have been making comments about shelly and her ciggies all this time and the first time i mention it i get bashed.
my dad isn’t dead yet…..but he smoked and caused my sister who has asthma to suffer, we both are allergic to tobacco and for yrs took weekly shots becuz he couldn’t at least go outside to smoke.
now he has a pace maker and has had several heart attacks and strokes.
he doesn’t even realize his grandson is his and has to ask………..all becuz he smoked yrs and yrs. yes i’m against it. but it’s becuz I CARE.
